1Reservoir-induced landslides and risk control in Three Gorges Project on Yangtze River,China显示文摘The Three Gorges region in China was basically a geohazard-prone area prior to construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR).After construction of the TGR,the water level was raised from 70 m to 175 m above sea level(ASL).and annual reservoir regulation has caused a 30-m water level difference after impoundment of the TGR since September 2008.This paper first presents the spatiotemporal distribution of landslides in six periods of 175 m ASL trial impoundments from 2008 to 2014.The results show that the number of landslides sharply decreased from 273 at the initial stage to less than ten at the second stage of impoundment.Based on this,the reservoir-induced landslides in the TGR region can be roughly classified into five failure patterns,i.e.accumulation landslide,dip-slope landslide,reversed bedding landslide,rockfall,and karst breccia landslide.The accumulation landslides and dip-slope landslides account for more than 90%.Taking the Shuping accumulation landslide(a sliding mass volume of 20.7 × 10~6 m^3) in Zigui County and the Outang dip-slope landslide(a sliding mass volume of about 90 × 10~6 m^3) in Fengjie County as two typical cases,the mechanisms of reactivation of the two landslides are analyzed.The monitoring data and factor of safety(FOS) calculation show that the accumulation landslide is dominated by water level variation in the reservoir as most part of the mass body is under 175 m ASL,and the dip-slope landslide is controlled by the coupling effect of reservoir water level variation and precipitation as an extensive recharge area of rainfall from the rear and the front mass is below 175 m ASL.The characteristics of landslide-induced impulsive wave hazards after and before reservoir impoundment are studied,and the probability of occurrence of a landslide-induced impulsive wave hazard has increased in the reservoir region.Simulation results of the Ganjingzi landslide in Wushan County indicate the strong relationship between landslide-induced surge and water variation with high potential risk to shipping and residential areas.Regarding reservoir regulation in TGR when using a single index,i.e.1-d water level variation,water resources are not well utilized,and there is also potential risk of disasters since 2008.In addition,various indices such as 1-d.5-d,and 10-d water level variations are proposed for reservoir regulation.Finally,taking reservoir-induced landslides in June2015 for example,the feasibility of the optimizing indices of water level variations is verified.Yueping Yin Bolin Huang Wenpei Wang Yunjie Wei Xiaohan Ma Fei Ma Changjun Zhao 2016Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2016,8,5:45
2ZERO TRANSMISSION AND ITS APPLICATION IN HIGH SPEED CNC MACHINE TOOLS显示文摘In order to realize high speed machining,the special requirements for the transmission and sturctrue of CNC machine tool have to be satisfied.A high speed spindle unit driven by a built-in motor is developed.An oil-water heat exchange system is used for cooling the spindle motor.The spindle is supported by Si4N3 ceramic ball angular contact bearings. 3circPTPN4 regulates myogenesis via the miR-499-3p/NAMPT axis显示文摘Background:Circular RNAs(circ RNAs)are a novel class of endogenous nc RNA,which widely exist in the transcriptomes of different species and tissues.Recent studies indicate important roles for circ RNAs in the regulation of gene expression by acting as competing endogenous RNAs(ce RNAs).However,the specific role of circ RNAs in myogenesis is still poorly understood.In this study,we attempted to systematically identify the circ RNAs involved in myogenesis and analyze the biological functions of circ RNAs in chicken skeletal muscle development.Results:In total,532 circ RNAs were identified as being differentially expressed between pectoralis major(PEM)and soleus(SOL)in 7-week-old Xinghua chicken.Among them,a novel circ RNA(novel_circ_002621),generated by PTPN4 gene,was named circ PTPN4 and identified.circ PTPN4 is highly expressed in skeletal muscle,and its expression level is upregulated during myoblast differentiation.circ PTPN4 facilitates the proliferation and differentiation of myoblast.Moreover,circ PTPN4 suppresses mitochondria biogenesis and activates fast-twitch muscle phenotype.Mechanistically,circ PTPN4 can function as a ce RNA to regulate NAMPT expression by sponging mi R-499-3p,thus participating in AMPK signaling.Conclusions:circ PTPN4 functions as a ce RNA to regulate NAMPT expression by sponging mi R-499-3p,thus promoting the proliferation and differentiation of myoblast,as well as activating fast-twitch muscle phenotype.Bolin Cai Manting Ma Zhen Zhou Shaofen Kong Jing Zhang Xiquan Zhang Qinghua Nie 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3:4

5Influence of uniaxial tensile pre-strain on forming limit curve by using biaxial tensile test显示文摘This paper focused on the effect of pre-strain on forming limit curves(FLC)of 5754-O aluminum alloy sheet through utilizing biaxial tensile approach.Based on Swift model and Yld2000-2 d yield criterion,the dimensions of cruciform specimen was optimized through applying finite element method for increasing the strain at specimen center.After that,with the recommended specimen size,the cruciform specimen was tested under various stroke ratios to experimentally characterize the limit strains under different pre-strain levels.Subsequently,the biaxial tensile tests were simulated by Abaqus to obtain the limit strains and validate the material models.It can be observed in both experiments and simulations that the pre-strained uniaxial tension followed by plane tension or equi-biaxial tension can improve the formability of sheet metals.Besides,the strain path change affects the trend of first derivative of strain rate difference between neighboring points with respect to time.An early increase occurred and then fell back to the stable value,the steady evolution continued until to a new increase reaching the critical value.The M–K prediction approach was simulated to verify the influence of pre-strain on FLC.It can be found that the early increase peaks of the major strain incremental ratio rose with the amplitude of pre-strain.Finally,the phenomenon of pseudolocalization caused by the strain path change was explained through evolution of stress state inside the groove.Wennan YUAN Min WAN Xiangdong WU Bolin MA Xu LU Bing YANG 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,8:2

7Preventing and Limiting Exposure to Geo-Hazards:Some Lessons from Two Mountain Villages Destroyed by the Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘This paper examines the experiences of two mountain communities- Yinchanggou and Donghekou in the Wenchuan earthquake of May 12, 2008, where Yinchanggou's tourism economy and natural park system was destroyed and Donghekou was buried by a landslide. We conducted research surveys on both the communities, interviewing survivors and local officials, and observed the destruction/reconstruction, geological, and living conditions. We suggest that protracted educational processes be put into place so that mountain communities possess a knowledge base to consider long-term disaster prevention when building the economy in the fragile and geo-hazardous conditions of the Longmenshan. 8Anti-Attacking Modeling and Analysis of Cyberspace Mimic DNS显示文摘With the rapid development of information technology,the cyberspace security problem is increasingly serious.Kinds of dynamic defense technology have emerged such as moving target defense and mimic defense.This paper aims to describe the architecture and analyze the performance of Cyberspace Mimic DNS based on generalized stochastic Petri net.We propose a general method of anti-attacking analysis.For general attack and special attack model,the available probability,escaped probability and nonspecial awareness probability are adopted to quantitatively analyze the system performance.And we expand the GSPN model to adjust to engineering practice by specifying randomness of different output vectors.The result shows that the proposed method is effective,and Mimic system has high anti-attacking performance.To deal with the special attack,we can integrate the traditional defense mechanism in engineering practice.Besides,we analyze the performance of mimic DNSframework based on multi-ruling proxy and input-output desperation,the results represent we can use multi ruling or high-speed cache servers to achieve the consistent cost of delay,throughput compared with single authorized DNS,it can effectively solve 10%to 20%performance loss caused by general ruling proxy.Lei He Quan Ren Bolin Ma Weili Zhang Jiangxing Wu 2022China Communications2022,19,5:1

10Feasibility evaluation of failure models for predicting forming limit of metal foils显示文摘Forming limit of metal foil is an important index to evaluate its formability,and is of considerable significance to improve the quality of products.The ductile fracture(DF)behavior in microscale plastic deformation is remarkably affected by the geometry and grain size.To explore the size-dependent forming limit curve(FLC),the Holmberg and Marciniak tests of SUS304 foils with the thicknesses of less than 0.1 mm and diverse grain sizes were performed.In addition,the validity and feasibility of three types of existing failure models including Swift/Hill,MarciniakKuczynski(M-K)and DF criteria for predicting the micro-scaled FLCs were discussed.It is found that the Swift/Hill model possesses the worst accuracy with predicting deviation above 50%.Four classical DF criteria including Freudenthal,Ayada,Brozzo and Oh show great difference,and Oh model considering plastic anisotropy presents the best precision.The predicted deviation of M-K model is aggravated with increasing grain size and decreasing foil thickness,which is attributed to the intensified free surface roughening and transformation of fracture mechanism with miniaturization.This research thus provides a deeper understanding and valuable reference for the widespread application of FLC in microforming.Bao MENG Jiejie SHI Yiyun ZHANG Cheng CHENG Bolin MA Min WAN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,9:1

13Diatom-inspired multiscale mineralization of patterned protein-polysaccharide complex structures显示文摘Marine diatoms construct their hierarchically ordered,three-dimensional(3D)external structures called frustules through precise biomineralization processes.Recapitulating the remarkable architectures and functions of diatom frustules in artificial materials is a major challenge that has important technological implications for hierarchically ordered composites.Here,we report the construction of highly ordered,mineralized composites based on fabrication of complex self-supporting porous structures—made of genetically engineered amyloid fusion proteins and the natural polysaccharide chitin—and performing in situ multiscale protein-mediated mineralization with diverse inorganic materials,including SiO_(2),TiO_(2)and Ga_(2)O_(3).Subsequently,using sugar cubes as templates,we demonstrate that 3D fabricated porous structures can become colonized by engineered bacteria and can be functionalized with highly photoreactive minerals,thereby enabling co-localization of the photocatalytic units with a bacteria-based hydrogenase reaction for a successful semi-solid artificial photosynthesis system for hydrogen evolution.Our study thus highlights the power of coupling genetically engineered proteins and polysaccharides with biofabrication techniques to generate hierarchically organized mineralized porous structures inspired by nature.Ke Li Yingfeng Li Xinyu Wang Mengkui Cui Bolin An Jiahua Pu Jintao Liu Boyang Zhang Guijun Ma Chao Zhong 2021National Science Review2021,8,8:1
14Dislocation reconfiguration during creep deformation of an Al-Cu-Li alloy via electropulsing显示文摘Creep mechanism was well-known to be mainly dominated by the dislocation sliding and climbing during creep deformation. Here we study the creep deformation of an Al-Cu-Li alloy with the assistance of electropulsing and subsequent microstructural observations. We find that creep strain increased drastically under electropulsing and was almost twelve times as much as that of the non-pulsed sample. Microstructural observations confirmed that dislocation reconfiguration happens via electropulsing, namely helical dislocations being opened rapidly. This opened dislocation structure can possess a much higher mobility than the initial helical dislocation, which mostly responsible for the greatly increased creep strain. 18Strontium doped electrospinning fiber membrane with antibacterial and osteogenic properties prepared by pulse electrochemical method显示文摘The osteogenic differentiation and new bone formation are commonly delayed by bacterial infection of orthopedic implants,which is urgent to be resolved quickly in the clinic.The current paper prepared a strontium-doped elec-trospinning fiber membrane with antibacterial and osteogenic properties by pulse electrochemical method.Poly-lactic acid/hydroxyapatite(PLLA/HA)composite fiber substrate was fabricated by electrospinning technology,and strontium doped SrHA/Cu/Polypyrrole(PPy)composite coating was constructed with pulse electrodeposi-tion method on its surface.The strontium doping technique,degradation of Sr^(2+)and Cu^(2+),cellular compatibility,and the antibacterial activity of the fiber membrane were examined.The results revealed that the deposition of phosphorus and calcium on composite fiber was the highest,indicating good biological activity.The release of Sr^(2+)and Cu^(2+)was stable and gradual due to the modulation of PPy.The composite fiber presented excellent antibacterial performance and the antibacterial rate was close to 100%against Staphylococcus aureus and Es-cherichia coli.Furthermore,it is conducive to the adhesion,spread,and proliferation of vascular endothelial cells and osteoblasts,namely outstanding osteogenesis and angiogenesis abilities.In conclusion,the multifunctional PLLA/HA@SrHA/Cu/PPy composite fiber membrane with good antibacterial and osteogenic activity by electro-spinning technology and pulsed electrochemical deposition method provides an effective strategy for the poor bone healing of infected bone defects.Yonggang Liu Bolin Zhang Feifei Liu Yani Qiu Wenbo Mu Liang Chen Chuang Ma Tingjun Ye Yingbo Wang 2022Engineered Regeneration2022,3,4:0
