2An air-stable and waterproof lithium metal anode enabled by wax composite packaging显示文摘The reviving use of lithium metal anode(LMA)is one of the most promising ways to upgrade the energy density of lithium ion batteries.In the roadmap towards the real use,besides the formation of the dendrite,various adverse reactions due to the high activity of LMA when exposed to air or the electrolyte limit its practical applications.Learning from the packaging technology in electronic industry,we propose a wax-based coating compositing with the ion conducting poly(ethylene oxide)by a simple dip-coating technology and the prepared LMA is featured with an air-stable and waterproof surface.The LMA thus remains stable for 24 h in ambient air even with the relative humidity of 70% while retaining about85% its electrochemical capacity.More importantly,the LMA is accessible to water and when dipping in water,no obvious adverse reactions or capacity decay is observed.With the composite coating,a steady cycling performance for 500 h in symmetrical cells and a low capacity decay rate of 0.075% per cycle after 300 cycles in lithium-sulfur batteries assembled with the packaged anode have been achieved.This work demonstrates a very simple and effective LMA package technology which is easily scalable and is very promising for speeding up the industrialization of lithium-sulfur batteries and shows potentials for the large-scale production of air-sensitive electrode materials not limited to LMAs.Yunbo Zhang Wei Lv Zhijia Huang Guangmin Zhou Yaqian Deng Jun Zhang Chen Zhang Boyu Hao Qi Qi Yan-Bing He Feiyu Kang Quan-Hong Yang 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,13:7
3海南省主要陆生入侵植物在不同生境类型的适生性显示文摘应用Max Ent与Arc GIS技术,结合野外调查数据,对海南省含羞草(Mimosa pudica)、飞机草(Chromolaena odorata)、马缨丹(Lantana camara)、假臭草(Praxelis clematidea)等6种主要陆生入侵植物的适生区进行了预测和分析。结果表明:(1)6种陆生入侵植物适生区的适生等级由沿海向内陆呈逐级递减趋势,可能是气候分布不同所致,可能是海拔升高所致,也可能是土地利用类型的变化等因素所致;(2)刀切法(Jackknife)分析显示,土地利用类型与入侵植物的适生区有着极为重要的关系,是影响6种陆生入侵植物分布的最主要环境因子。另外,海拔、坡向、温度的年较差、降雨季节性变化等环境因子对不同入侵植物的适生区也产生重要的影响;(3)6种入侵植物在村落周边、城镇建设用地、其他建设用地(盐场、工业区、厂矿、采石场等用地)生境中具有极高的适生性;在林地、草地类生境中的适生性较高,但是在有林地(郁闭度>30%的天然林和人工林)和高覆盖率草地(覆盖率>50%的天然草地、改良草地和割草地)生境中的适生性较低。李嘉昊 李东海 赵瑞白 杨小波 罗文启 张凯 吴庭天 GAO Boyu 2018热带生物学报2018,9,2:5
4Robust Predictive Current Control of Induction Motors Based on Linear Extended State Observer显示文摘Model predictive current control can achieve fast dynamic response and satisfactory steady-state performance for induction motor(IM)drives.However,many motor parameters are required to implement the control algorithm.Consequently,if the motor parameters used in the controller are not accurate,the performance may deteriorate.In this paper,a new robust predictive current control is proposed to improve robustness against parameter mismatches.The proposed method employs an ultra-local model to replace the mathematical model of the IM.Additionally,to improve the control performance,a linear extended state observer is developed for disturbance estimation.Experimental tests confirm that satisfactory tracking performance can still be obtained although the motor parameters may not be accurately set in the controller.Yongchang Zhang Xing Wang Haitao Yang Boyue Zhang Jose Rodriguez 2021Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2021,7,1:5
5Precise semi-analytical inverse kinematic solution for 7-DOF offset manipulator with arm angle optimization显示文摘Seven-degree-of-freedom redundant manipulators with link offset have many advantages,including obvious geometric significance and suitability for configuration control.Their configuration is similar to that of the experimental module manipulator(EMM)in the Chinese Space Station Remote Manipulator System.However,finding the analytical solution of an EMM on the basis of arm angle parameterization is difficult.This study proposes a high-precision,semi-analytical inverse method for EMMs.Firstly,the analytical inverse kinematic solution is established based on joint angle parameterization.Secondly,the analytical inverse kinematic solution for a non-offset spherical-roll-spherical(SRS)redundant manipulator is derived based on arm angle parameterization.The approximate solution of the EMM is calculated in accordance with the relationship between the joint angles of the EMM and the SRS manipulator.Thirdly,the error is corrected using a numerical method through the analytical inverse solution based on joint angle parameterization.After selecting the stride and termination condition,the precise inverse solution is computed for the EMM based on arm angle parameterization.Lastly,case solutions confirm that this method has high precision,and the arm angle parameterization method is superior to the joint angle parameterization method in terms of parameter selection.Boyu MA Zongwu XIE Zainan JIANG Hong LIU 2021Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,3:5
6Optimal capacity planning of combined renewable energy source-pumped storage and seawater desalination systems显示文摘As water scarcity is becoming a growing threat to human development, finding effective solutions has become an urgent need. To make better use of water resources, seawater desalination and storage systems using renewable energy sources(RES) are designed and implemented around the world. In this paper, an optimal capacity planning method for RES-pumped storage-seawater desalination(RES-PS-D) system is introduced. The configuration of the RES-PS-D system is clarified first, after which a cost-benefit analysis is performed using all cost and benefit components. A function for determining maximum economic benefits of the RES-PS-D system is then established, and the constraints are proposed based on various limitations. The mixed-integer linear programming algorithm is applied to solve the optimal function. A case study is introduced to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. 7Spatial Distribution of Seismic Landslides in the Areas of 1927 Gulang M8.0 Earthquake显示文摘The 1927 Gulang M8.0 earthquake has triggered a huge number of landslides,resulting in massive loss of people’s life and property.However,integrated investigations and results regarding the landslides triggered by this earthquake are rare;such situation hinders the deep understanding of these landslides such as scale,extent,and distribution.With the support of Google Earth software,this study intends to finish the seismic landslides interpretation work in the areas of Gulang earthquake(VIII-XI degree)using the artificial visual interpretation method,and further analyze the spatial distribution and impact factors of these landslides.The results show that the earthquake has triggered at least 936 landslides in the VIII-XI degree zone,with a total landslide area of 58.6 km^2.The dense area of seismic landslides is located in the middle and southern parts of the X intensity circle.Statistical analysis shows that seismic landslides is mainly controlled by factors such as elevation,slope gradient,slope direction,strata,seismic intensity,faults and rivers.The elevation of 2000-2800 m is the high-incidence interval of the landslide.The landslide density is larger with a higher slope gradient.East and west directions are the dominant sliding directions.The areas with Cretaceous and Quaternary strata are the main areas of the Gulang seismic landslides.The X intensity zone triggered the most landslides.In addition,landslides often occur in regions near rivers and faults.This paper provides a scientific reference for exploring the development regularities of landslides triggered by the 1927 Gulang earthquake and effectively mitigating the landslide disasters of the earthquake.XU Jixiang XU Chong HE Xiangli WEN Boyu GE Keshui BAI Yuzhu 2020Earthquake Research in China2020,34,1:4
8Simulation of the fatigue-wear coupling mechanism of an aviation gear显示文摘The contact fatigue of aviation gears has become more prominent with greater demands for heavy-duty and high-power density gears.Meanwhile,the coexistence of tooth contact fatigue damage and tooth profile wear leads to a complicated competitive mechanism between surface-initiated failure and subsurface-initiated contact fatigue failures.To address this issue,a fatigue-wear coupling model of an aviation gear pair was developed based on the elastic-plastic finite element method.The tooth profile surface roughness was considered,and its evolution during repeated meshing was simulated using the Archard wear formula.The fatigue damage accumulation of material points on and underneath the contact surface was captured using the Brown-Miller-Morrow multiaxial fatigue criterion.The elastic-plastic constitutive behavior of damaged material points was updated by incorporating the damage variable.Variations in the wear depth and fatigue damage around the pitch point are described,and the effect of surface roughness on the fatigue life is addressed.The results reveal that whether fatigue failure occurs initially on the surface or sub-surface depends on the level of surface roughness.Mild wear on the asperity level alleviates the local stress concentration and leads to a longer surface fatigue life compared with the result without wear.Boyu ZHANG Huaiju LIU Caichao ZHU Yibo GE 2021Friction2021,9,6:4

10Hydrolysis of polyaluminum chloride prior to coagulation:Effects on coagulation behavior and implications for improving coagulation performance显示文摘The effects of polyaluminum chloride(PACl) hydrolysis prior to coagulation on both the coagulation zone and coagulation performance of a kaolin suspension were investigated by a novel jar test named the 'reversed coagulation test'.The tests showed that PACl hydrolysis prior to coagulation decreased the performance of charge neutralization coagulation in the case of short-time slow mixing(10 min;G = 15 sec-1) and increased the optimal dosage for charge neutralization and sweep coagulation.Moreover,the hydrolysis time had insignificant effects on the size and zeta potential of PACl precipitates and the residual turbidity of the raw water.However,PACl hydrolysis prior to coagulation and the size of PACl precipitates had a negligible effect on the performance of sweep coagulation.The results imply that,in practice,preparing a PACl solution with deionized water,rather than tap water or the outlet water from a wastewater treatment unit,can significantly save PACl consumption and improve the performance of charge neutralization coagulation,while preparing the PACl solution with tap or outlet water would not affect the performance of sweep coagulation.In addition,the optimal rapid mixing intensity appears to be determined by a balance between the degree of coagulant hydrolysis before contacting the primary particles and the average size of flocs in the rapid mixing period.These results provide new insights into the role of PACl hydrolysis and will be useful for improving coagulation efficiency.Zhongguo Zhang Jun Wang Dan Liu Jiuyi Li Xiaolin Wang Boyu Song Bing Yue Kehui Zhao Yun Song 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:4

13Comparative study of proteome between primary cancer and hepatic metastatic tumor in colorectal cancer显示文摘AIM: To identify the differential proteins associated with colorectal cancer genesis and hepatic metastasis.METHODS: Hydrophobic protein samples were extracted from normal colorectal mucosa, primary cancer lesion and hepatic metastatic foci of colorectal cancer. With twodimensional electrophoresis and image analysis,differentially expressed protein spots were detected, and the proteins were identified by matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight-mass spectrometry and peptide mass fingerprint analysis.RESULTS: Significant alterations of the proteins in number and expression levels were discovered in primary cancer and hepatic metastatic foci, the expression of a number of proteins was lost in 25-40 ku, but protein spots was increased in 14-21ku, compared with normal mucosa. Nine differentially expressed protein spots were identified. Three proteins expressed in normal mucosa, but lost in primary cancer and hepatic metastasis, were recognized as calmodulin, ribonuclease 6 precursor and mannosidase-α.Proapolipoprotein was expressed progressively from normal mucosa to primary cancer and hepatic metastasis. The differentially expressed protein of beta-globin was found in normal mucosa and hepatic metastatic tumor, but lost in primary cancer lesion. Cdc 42, a GTP-binding protein, was identified in hepatic metastasis. The protein spots of C4 from primary cancer, M7 and M9 from hepatic metastasis had less homology with the proteins in database.CONCLUSION: Variations of hydrophobic protein expression in colorectal cancer initiation and hepatic metastasis are significant and can be observed with two-dimensional electrophoresis. The expression of calmodulin, ribonuclease 6 precursor and mannosidase-α is lost but the expression of proapolipoprotein is enhanced which is associated with colorectal cancer genesis and hepatic metastasis. Cdc 42 and beta-globin are expressed abnormally in hepatic metastasis. 14Resorcinol-formaldehyde resin-based porous carbon spheres with high CO_2 capture capacities显示文摘Porous carbon spheres are prepared by direct carbonization of potassium salt of resorcinol-formaldehyde resin spheres, and are investigated as CO_2 adsorbents. It is found that the prepared carbon materials still maintain the typical spherical shapes after the activation, and have highly developed ultra-microporosity with uniform pore size, indicating that almost the activation takes place in the interior of the polymer spheres. The narrow-distributed ultra-micropores are attributed to the 'in-situ homogeneous activation'effect produced by the mono-dispersed potassium ions as a form of -OK groups in the bulk of polymer spheres. The CS-1 sample prepared under a KOH/resins weight ratio of 1 shows a very high CO_2 capture capacity of 4.83 mmol/g and good CO_2/N_2 selectivity of ~17-45. 15An application of the LTP_DSEF model to heavy precipitation forecasts of landfalling tropical cyclones over China in 2018显示文摘Recently, a track-similarity-based Dynamical-Statistical Ensemble Forecast(LTP_DSEF) model has been developed in an attempt to predict heavy rainfall from Landfalling Tropical cyclones(LTCs). In this study, the LTP_DSEF model is applied to predicting heavy precipitation associated with 10 LTCs occurring over China in 2018. The best forecast scheme of the model with optimized parameters is obtained after testing 3452 different schemes for the 10 LTCs. Then, its performance is compared to that of three operational dynamical models. Results show that the LTP_DSEF model has advantages over the three dynamical models in predicting heavy precipitation accumulated after landfall, especially for rainfall amounts greater than 250 mm. The model also provides superior or slightly inferior heavy rainfall forecast performance for individual LTCs compared to the three dynamical models. In particular, the LTP_DSEF model can predict heavy rainfall with valuable threat scores associated with certain LTCs, which is not possible with the three dynamical models. Moreover, the model can reasonably capture the distribution of heavier accumulated rainfall, albeit with widespread coverage compared to observations. 16A general altitude-dependent path loss model for UAV-to-ground millimeter-wave communications显示文摘A general empirical path loss(PL) model for air-to-ground(A2 G) millimeter-wave(mm Wave) channels is proposed in this paper. Different from existing PL models, the new model takes the height factor of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) into account, and divides the propagation conditions into three cases(i.e., line-of-sight, reflection,and diffraction). A map-based deterministic PL prediction algorithm based on the ray-tracing(RT) technique is developed, and is used to generate numerous PL data for different cases. By fitting and analyzing the PL data under different scenarios and UAV heights, altitude-dependent model parameters are provided. Simulation results show that the proposed model can be effectively used to predict PL values for both low-and high-altitude cases.The prediction results of the proposed model better match the RT-based calculation results than those of the Third Generation Partnership Project(3 GPP) model and the close-in model. The standard deviation of the PL is also much smaller. 17Load Shedding and Restoration for Intentional Island with Renewable Distributed Generation显示文摘Due to the high penetration of renewable distributed generation(RDG),many issues have become conspicuous during the intentional island operation such as the power mismatch of load shedding during the transition process and the power imbalance during the restoration process.In this paper,a phase measurement unit(PMU)based online load shedding strategy and a conservation voltage reduction(CVR)based multi-period restoration strategy are proposed for the intentional island with RDG.The proposed load shedding strategy,which is driven by the blackout event,consists of the load shedding optimization and correction table.Before the occurrence of the large-scale blackout,the load shedding optimization is solved periodically to obtain the optimal load shedding plan,which meets the dynamic and steady constraints.When the blackout occurs,the correction table updated in real time based on the PMU data is used to modify the load shedding plan to eliminate the power mismatch caused by the fluctuation of RDG.After the system transits to the intentional island seamlessly,multi-period restoration plans are generated to optimize the restoration performance while maintaining power balance until the main grid is repaired.Besides,CVR technology is implemented to restore more loads by regulating load demand.The proposed load shedding optimization and restoration optimization are linearized to mixed-integer quadratic constraint programming(MIQCP)models.The effectiveness of the proposed strategies is verified with the modified IEEE 33-node system on the real-time digital simulation(RTDS)platform.Jian Xu Boyu Xie Siyang Liao Zhiyong Yuan Deping Ke Yuanzhang Sun Xiong Li Xiaotao Peng 2021Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,3:2

19Facial expression recognition based on fusion of extended LDP and Gabor features显示文摘The local directional pattern(LDP) is unsusceptible to random noise which is widely used in texture extraction of face region. LDP cannot encode the central pixel thus the important information will be lost. Thus a new feature descriptor called extended local directional pattern(ELDP) is proposed for face extraction. First,the mean value of the eight directional edge response values and the gray value of center pixel are calculated. Second,the mean value is taken as the threshold. Then,the expression image is encoded using nine encoded values. In order to reduce redundant information and get more effective information,the Gabor filter is used to obtain the multidirection Gabor magnitude maps(GMMs),and then the ELDP is used to encode the GMMs. Finally,support vector machine(SVM) is applied to classify and recognize facial expression. 20Single-molecule optoelectronic devices:physical mechanism and beyond显示文摘Single-molecule devices not only promise to provide an alternative strategy to break through the miniaturization and functionalization bottlenecks faced by traditional semiconductor devices,but also provide a reliable platform for exploration of the intrinsic properties of matters at the single-molecule level.Because the regulation of the electrical properties of single-molecule devices will be a key factor in enabling further advances in the development of molecular electronics,it is necessary to clarify the interactions between the charge transport occurring in the device and the external fields,particularly the optical field.This review mainly introduces the optoelectronic effects that are involved in single-molecule devices,including photoisomerization switching,photoconductance,plasmon-induced excitation,photovoltaic effect,and electroluminescence.We also summarize the optoelectronic mechanisms of single-molecule devices,with particular emphasis on the photoisomerization,photoexcitation,and photo-assisted tunneling processes.Finally,we focus the discussion on the opportunities and challenges arising in the single-molecule optoelectronics field and propose further possible breakthroughs.Peihui Li Yijian Chen Boyu Wang Mengmeng Li Dong Xiang Chuancheng Jia Xuefeng Guo 2022Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,5:2
