1儿童睡眠及相关因素研究进展显示文摘睡眠障碍是儿童常见问题,25%-50%学龄前儿童,40%青少年有不同程度的睡眠问题。睡眠不足,睡眠问题和睡眠障碍可能导致行为问题,注意力缺乏,记忆力下降,以及精神和情绪问题。有些睡眠障碍可发展成行为神经学定义的神经认知障碍(neurocognitive dysfunction);以及引起其它生理疾病,如影响生长发育。因而有必要早期诊断,尽早采取合理治疗。目前国内对小儿睡眠相关性研究多集中在对睡眠与某些疾病关联性流行病学调查,少有对儿童睡眠常见问题相关因素的讨论。本文希望有助于在这方面的研究。Bette Zhang 张洁 2016世界睡眠医学杂志2016,3,5:13
2近10年来“国际古气候模拟比较计划(PMIP)”回顾和未来古气候模拟研究热点显示文摘国际古气候模拟比较计划(PMIP)是古气候领域里的一项长期开展的大型国际研究计划。该计划的主旨是利用气候数值模式,通过开展一系列针对古气候变化的模拟试验理解全球气候变化的机理,确定气候系统内部的各种影响气候变化的关键反馈因子;通过比较不同气候模式对不同于现代气候(古气候)的模拟能力评价模式的优劣,进而促进气候模式的发展;同时也为全球变化背景下利用气候模式预估未来气候变化提供借鉴。PMIP自1991年酝酿开始至今经历了PMIP1(1991~2001年)、PMIP2(2002~2007年)两个阶段,并正在开展第三阶段(PMIP3)(2008~)的研究。本文简要回顾了近10年来PMIP研究进展及概述了未来PM1P将要开展研究的重点领域和方向,主要包括4个主题:1)基准(benchmark)时段(6kaB.P.和21 kaB.P.)模拟;2)间冰期和温暖期气候模拟;3)快速气候变化模拟;4)不确定性研究。靳立亚 Bette L. 3Model evidence for climatic impact of thermohaline circulation on China at the century scale显示文摘Based on transient simulation of the last deglaciation(significant global warming period)using a fully coupled model and sensitivity experiment,we show explicitly how the thermohaline circulation(THC)affects the climate of China,especially during periods of abrupt climate change.The simulated evolution of the Chinese climate was consistent with the paleoclimate record during the last deglaciation.For example,the whole Chinese region warmed significantly during the BФlling-AllerФd warming event(BA).When the magnitude of the THC was reduced in the sensitivity experiment during BA,warming of the Chinese region was greatly affected.Our work shows that in addition to orbital forcing and greenhouse gases,the THC is an important factor influencing climate change in China at the century scale.CHENG Jun LIU ZhengYu HE Feng GUO PinWen CHEN ZhongXiao OTTO-BLIESNER Bette 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,27:6

5First report on Guanshan Biota(Cambrian Stage 4) at the stratotype area of Wulongqing Formation in Malong County, Eastern Yunnan, China显示文摘Exceptionally preserved fossils,such as those from Cambrian Burgess Shale-type fossil-Lagerstatten are critical because of their unique contributions to knowledge of the phylogenetic radiation and palaeoecological expansion of metazoans during the Cambrian explosion.Critically,these deposits provide information that is usually unobtainable from shelly and skeletonized fossils alone.The Guanshan Biota(Cambrian Series 2,Stage 4)in the Yunnan Province of South China,has produced abundant and diverse,exquisitely preserved fossils that often retain soft tissues and organs.To date,most fossils from the Guanshan Biota have been collected from localities such as Gaoloufang and Gangtoucun,which have become inaccessible due to new urban expansions and constructions of residential buildings.Here we present the first report of soft bodied fossils from a new section at Kanfuqing,close to the Wulongqing village in Malong County,approximately 3 km east of the Wulongqing Formation stratotype section.Fossils retain soft morphology,and include brachiopods with delicate marginal setae,priapulids with well-preserved sclerites and vetulicolians with entire sections of body.In addition,this fauna includes rare occurrences of trilobites preserved with soft tissues replicated as pyrite pseudomorphs after weathering.This discovery represents an important palaeogeographical extension of soft-bodied fossils of the Guanshan fauna to the east of the Xiaojiang Fault(related to Tsinning tectonic movements ca.700 Ma).The fauna from the new Kanfuqing section is similar to that reported from the Wulongqing Formation west of the Xiaojiang Fault,and thus has significant implications for early Cambrian palaeogeography,faunal successions and palaeoenvironments of eastern Yunnan.Feiyang Chen Zhifei Zhang Marissa J. 8Seasonal Forecasts of the Summer 2016 Yangtze River Basin Rainfall显示文摘The Yangtze River has been subject to heavy flooding throughout history,and in recent times severe floods such as those in 1998 have resulted in heavy loss of life and livelihoods.Dams along the river help to manage flood waters,and are important sources of electricity for the region.Being able to forecast high-impact events at long lead times therefore has enormous potential benefit.Recent improvements in seasonal forecasting mean that dynamical climate models can start to be used directly for operational services.The teleconnection from El Ni ?no to Yangtze River basin rainfall meant that the strong El Ni ?no in winter 2015/16 provided a valuable opportunity to test the application of a dynamical forecast system.This paper therefore presents a case study of a real-time seasonal forecast for the Yangtze River basin,building on previous work demonstrating the retrospective skill of such a forecast.A simple forecasting methodology is presented,in which the forecast probabilities are derived from the historical relationship between hindcast and observations.Its performance for2016 is discussed.The heavy rainfall in the May–June–July period was correctly forecast well in advance.August saw anomalously low rainfall,and the forecasts for the June–July–August period correctly showed closer to average levels.The forecasts contributed to the confidence of decision-makers across the Yangtze River basin.Trials of climate services such as this help to promote appropriate use of seasonal forecasts,and highlight areas for future improvements.Philip E. 9Safe acupuncture and dry needling during pregnancy:New Zealand physiotherapists' opinion and practice显示文摘Objective: Acupuncture guidelines have advised caution when treating women during pregnancy,because historical ‘‘forbidden' acupuncture points are believed to stimulate miscarriage or early labor.Despite recent research demonstrating that acupuncture is a useful and safe treatment tool for pregnancy-related low-back pain(LBP) and pelvic girdle pain(PGP), it is postulated that fear of miscarriage and subsequent blame by association, restricts its provision. More recently, an increase in dry needling(DN) courses for physiotherapists has potentiated the rapid growth in DN practice in New Zealand(NZ). Many dry needlers do not consider DN to be a form of acupuncture; it is unknown if they have similar safety concerns.Methods: NZ registered physiotherapists practicing acupuncture and/or DN were invited to participate in an electronic survey to examine their practice and level of understanding in regard to safe needling during pregnancy.Results: Of 124 respondents, only 60(48%) would needle pregnant women, with a further 66% of those still expressing safety concerns. NZ physiotherapists practicing DN only, were more likely to needle areas related to ‘‘forbidden' points in all trimesters. However, overall, NZ physiotherapists were less likely to needle ‘‘forbidden' points than their UK peers.Conclusion: Conflicting literature and a ‘‘fear of blame' influences NZ physiotherapists' decisions to offer needling(both acupuncture and DN) during pregnancy. Further training in this field is recommended to ensure safe practice and adequate provision of acupuncture treatment options for pregnant women suffering musculoskeletal pain, such as LBP and PGP. 11多种代用资料和模型模拟得到的亚洲季风在8.2ka显著气候影响的证据(英文)显示文摘Given the likelihood of future reductions in the strength of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation(AMOC),it is important to document how changes in the AMOC have altered climate patterns in the past and to assess the skill of coupled climate models in reproducing these teleconnections.Of past abrupt changes in the AMOC,the 8.2 ka event provides a particularly useful case study because its duration,magnitude of AMOC reduction and background climate state are closest to conditions expected in the future.In this research,we present an expanded proxy synthesis of the 8.2 ka event in monsoonal Asia,including new high-resolution lake and bog records,more sites from the East Asia monsoon region and proxies of winter monsoon strength.We compare proxy evidence with a new simulation of the 8.2 ka event using the Community Climate System Model version 3(CCSM3) and prescribing North Atlantic freshwater forcing according to the latest reconstructions.We find clear and objectively-determined evidence for 8.2 ka climate anomalies at nearly all of the fourteen proxy sites,emphasizing the strong and widespread impacts of the event in monsoonal Asia during both summer and winter seasons.The model simulation corroborates that these anomalies,described generally as a weakening of the summer monsoon and strengthening of the winter monsoon,were likely caused by a reduction of the AMOC.Examination of regional anomalies in East Asia reveals some spatial heterogeneity,however,that in the model simulation is caused by contraction of the seasonal migration of the subtropical monsoon front.The duration of climate anomalies at 8.2 ka in monsoonal Asia,both in proxy records and the model simulation,generally matches the duration of the event in Greenland ice core δ^(18)O,further supporting a tight connection to the North Atlantic.MORRILL Carrie WAGNER Amy J OTTO-BLIESNER Bette L ROSENBLOOM Nan 2011地球环境学报2011,2,3:3

Objective: The purpose of this article is to report occurrence of NCM and other complications in 1008 persons having LCMN or MCMN. Methods: Evaluation of information obtained from a database of persons with LCMN or MCMN voluntarily submitted by the affected persons to a nevus support group, the Nevus Network. Results: Of those with truncal LCMN, 6.8% developed significant complications, 4.8% developed symptomatic NCM, and 2.3% died from either benign or malignant NCM or cutaneous melanoma. Of the 4.8% of persons with a truncal nevus who developed symptomatic NCM, 34% died. Of those with head or extremity LCMN, 0.8% developed symptomatic NCM, and, to date, none have died from any cause. Of the small number with MCMN without a giant nevus, 71% developed symptomatic NCM, and 41% died of it. Limitations: Attending physician confirmation of submitted information was unavailable. Conclusions: LCMN of the trunk were associated with a relatively low occurrence of medical complications and death in our group, considering the large nevomelanocytic burden present. If symptomatic NCM developed in those with truncal nevi, the occurrence of death rose to a third. LCMN of the head or extremity were associated with minimal medical complications and no deaths.
