| 1 | Abdominal applications of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging: Where do we stand?显示文摘Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is one of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences providing qualitative as well as quantitative information at a cellular level. It has been widely used for various applications in the central nervous system. Over the past decade, various extracranial applications of DWI have been increasingly explored, as it may detect changes even before signal alterations or morphological abnormalities become apparent on other pulse sequences. Initial results from abdominal MRI applications are promising, particularly in oncological settings and for the detection of abscesses. The purpose of this article is to describe the clinically relevant basic concepts of DWI, techniques to perform abdominal DWI, its analysis and applications in abdominal visceral MR imaging, in addition to a brief overview of whole body DWI MRI. | Ajaykumar C Morani Khaled M Elsayes Peter S Liu William J Weadock Janio Szklaruk Jonathan Russell Dillman Asra Khan Thomas L Chenevert Hero K Hussain | 2013 | World Journal of Radiology2013,5,3: | 12 |
| 2 | Synthesis of ion imprinted polymers for selective recognition and separation of rare earth metals显示文摘Lanthanide-ion imprinted polymers(L-IIPs) were synthesized by stoichiometric amounts of rare earth ions and the cavities in the polymers were created for the corresponding lanthanide ions. The maximum sorption capacities were estimated to be 125.3, 126.5, 127.6, 128.2 and 129.1 mg/g for Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and Gd, respectively at p H 6. In the selectivity study, the L-IIPs exhibited good selectivity to the specific rare earth ions in the presence of coexisting cations. The imprinting results were found to be excellent with some rare earth ions over other competitor rare earth ions with the same charges and close ionic radius. | Mashitah M.Yusoff Nik Rohani Nik Mostapa Md Shaheen Sarkar Tapan Kumar Biswas Md Lutfor Rahman Sazmal Effendi Arshad Mohd Sani Sarjadi Ajaykumar D.Kulkarni | 2017 | Journal of Rare Earths2017,35,2: | 6 |

| 16 | Pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma:A comprehensive review显示文摘Acinar cell carcinoma(ACC)is a rare pancreatic malignancy with distinctive clinical, molecular, and morphological features. The long-term survival of ACC patients is substantially superior to that of pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients. As there are no significant patient series about ACCs,our understanding of this illness is mainly based on case reports and limited patient series.Surgical resection is the treatment of choice for patients with the disease restricted to one organ;however, with recent breakthroughs in precision medicine, medicines targeting the one-of-a-kind molecular profile of ACC are on the horizon. There are no standard treatment protocols available for people in which a total surgical resection to cure the condition is not possible. As a result of shared genetic alterations,ACCs are chemosensitive to agents with activity against pancreatic adenocarcinomas and colorectal carcinomas. The role of neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemoradiotherapy has not been established. This article aims to do a comprehensive literature study and present the most recent information on acinar cell cancer. | Luis Fernando Calimano-Ramirez Taher Daoud Dheeraj Reddy Gopireddy Ajaykumar C Morani Rebecca Waters Kazim Gumus Albert Russell Klekers Priya R Bhosale Mayur K Virarkar | 2022 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2022,28,40: | 0 |
