1燃煤电厂排放颗粒物中重金属形态的研究显示文摘本文分别用模拟酸雨浸提和Tessier形态分离法,对燃煤电厂排放颗粒物中重金属形态进行了研究.结果表明,痕量金属绝大部分以稳定态存在,微米级飞灰中有较大活性的形态高于灰渣,煤燃烧高温条件使颗粒物中活性较大的形态含量减少.随酸雨pH降低,颗粒物中金属溶出量增加;pH相同,浸取液中盐含量高时,金属溶出量增加.以上研究表明吸附-解吸、pH值、氧化还原条件和固-液界面离子交换等多种因素决定着颗粒物中重金属的溶出.陆晓华 AliA 刘汉珍 曾汉才 魏路线 张保军 1996环境化学1996,15,4:31

5Effective and Efficient Feature Selection for Large-scale Data Using Bayes' Theorem显示文摘This paper proposes one method of feature selection by using Bayes theorem. The purpose of the proposed method is to reduce the computational complexity and increase the classification accuracy of the selected feature subsets. The dependence between two attributes (binary) is determined based on the probabilities of their joint values that contribute to positive and negative classification decisions. If opposing sets of attribute values do not lead to opposing classification decisions (zero probability), then the two attributes are considered independent of each other, otherwise dependent, and one of them can be removed and thus the number of attributes is reduced. The process must be repeated on all combinations of attributes. The paper also evaluates the approach by comparing it with existing feature selection algorithms over 8 datasets from University of California, Irvine (UCI) machine learning databases. 6南海4种珊瑚附生可培养真菌多样性分析显示文摘本研究利用从南海采集的4种珊瑚分离附生真菌,并通过菌株的分类鉴定及系统发育分析获得珊瑚附生可培养真菌的多样性信息.选用酵母麦芽糖琼脂培养基(YM)、马铃薯葡萄糖琼脂培养基(PDA)、马丁氏培养基(Martin)、察氏琼脂培养基(CDA)和孟加拉红培养基(RBM)等5种培养基,采用平板涂布法培养分离附生真菌,基于ITS-rRNA基因序列对真菌菌株进行鉴定和系统发育分析.从4种珊瑚上共分离获得10个属的120株真菌,分别是:青霉属(Penicillum)56株、曲霉属(Aspergillus)25株、枝顶孢属(Acremonium)2株、枝孢属(Cladosporium)5株、毕赤酵母属(Meyerozyma)14株、隔孢伏革属(Peniophora)2株、拟茎点霉属(Phomopsis)1株、裂褶菌属(Schizophyllum)1株、梗孢酵母属(Sterigmatomyces)13株、篮状菌属(Talaromyces)1株.通过对不同珊瑚品种分离获得的附生真菌的比较,发现小叶鹿角珊瑚(Acropora microphthalma)和花鹿角珊瑚(Acropora floride)上分离到的菌株多样性最高,包含6属10种.进一步的分析发现不同珊瑚样品上真菌种类分布有较大差异,隔孢伏革属和裂褶菌属真菌均分离自小叶鹿角珊瑚,梗孢酵母属和篮状菌属均分离自角孔珊瑚(Goniopora sp.),扁脑珊瑚(Platygyra sp.)上则分离到拟茎点霉属.同时还发现不同培养基分离真菌的能力不同,YM培养基分离的菌株最多,CDA培养基分离真菌的多样性最多.以上的研究结果表明,南海珊瑚上存在大量且丰富的真菌资源,可以为后续生物活性物质的开发利用提供良好的菌种资源.郭双双 徐炜 Siti Aisyah Alias 何高阳 骆祝华 2018应用海洋学学报2018,37,1:7
7miR-137 inhibits melanoma cell proliferation through downregulation of GLO1显示文摘Late-stage melanoma is refractory to current therapies. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) can modulate many physiological and pathological processes of melanoma. Studies have demonstrated that miR-137 acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting the proliferation of melanoma cells through targeting multiple mRNAs. The glyoxalase system member glyoxalase 1 (GLO1) is the principal scavenging enzyme of methylglyoxal (MG), a toxic byproduct of glycolysis. Using 35S in vivo/vitro labelling analysis for dynamic proteomics (SiLAD), we found that miR-137 downregulated the expression of GLO1 in melanoma cells.Bioinformatics analysis predicted that GLO1 is a direct target of miR-137. This was validated by dual luciferase reporter assay.Quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) and western blot analysis indicated that miR-137 could decrease endogenous GLO1 expression.Furthermore, siRNA targeting of GLO1 mimicked inhibition of melanoma cell proliferation caused by miR-137 overexpression.Re-expression of GLO1 was able to restore miR-137-mediated suppression of melanoma cell proliferation. 8Influence of vitamin D on liver fibrosis in chronic hepatitis C: A systematic review and meta-analysis of the pooled clinical trials data显示文摘AIM To investigate the relationship between vitamin D and liver fibrosis in hepatitis C-monoinfected or hepatitis C virus(HCV)-human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) coinfected patients. METHODS Pertinent studies were located by a library literature search in PubM ed/Embase/Cochrane/Scopus/LILACS by two individual reviewers. Inclusion criteria:(1) studies with patients with HCV or co-infected HCV/HIV;(2) studies with patients ≥ 18 years old;(3) studies that evaluated liver fibrosis stage, only based on liver biopsy; and(4) studies that reported serum or plasma 25(OH)D levels. Studies that included pediatric patients, other etiologies of liver disease, or did not use liver biopsy for fibrosis evaluation, or studies with inadequate data were excluded. Estimated measures of association reported in the literature, as well as corresponding measures of uncertainty, were recorded and corresponding odds ratios with 95%CI were included in a meta-analysis. RESULTS The pooled data of this systematic review showed that 9 of the 12 studies correlated advanced liver disease defined as a Metavir value of F3/4 with 25(OH) D level insufficiency. 9Vitamin D levels do not predict the stage of hepatic fibrosis in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease: A PRISMA compliant systematic review and meta-analysis of pooled data显示文摘AIM To investigate the relationship between 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] levels and fibrosis stage in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).METHODS Two individual reviewers identified relevant studies using the Pub Med, EMBASE, Cochrane, and Scopus databases. Inclusion criteria were as follows:(1) Studies that evaluated adults with NAFLD and serum or plasma 25(OH)D levels; and(2) assessed fibrosis stage using liver biopsy. A rigorous analysis yielded six articles as having sufficient data to employ in evaluating the association of serum vitamin D levels in patients with NAFLD based on their liver fibrosis stage by histopathological analysis. The lead investigators of each of the six studies were contacted and the data were collected. To meta-analyze vitamin D levels in F0-F2 vs F3-F4 fibrosis, a random-effects meta-analysis fit using restricted maximum likelihood was applied. To examine trends across each stage of fibrosis with respect to vitamin D levels, a meta-regression was performed. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS A total of 937 subjects from six studies were included in the final analysis to evaluate the association of serum vitamin D levels in patients with NAFLD based on their liver fibrosis stage by histopathological analysis. The lead investigators of each of the six studies were contacted and the data were collected. First, the investigators performed a meta-analysis to compare serum vitamin D levels in patients with NAFLD with stage F0-F2 compared to F3-F4, which did not show significance [meta-estimate of the pooled mean difference =-0.86, P = 0.08(-4.17, 2.46)]. 11Could non-invasive brain-stimulation prevent neuronal degeneration upon ion channel re-distribution and ion accumulation after demyelination?显示文摘Fast and efficient transmission of electrical signals in the nervous system is mediated through myelinated nerve fibers.In neuronal diseases such as multiple sclerosis,the conduction properties of axons are disturbed by the removal of the myelin sheath,leaving nerve cells at a higher risk of degenerating.In some cases,the protective myelin sheath of axons can be rebuilt by remyelination through oligodendroglial cells.In any case,however,changes in the ion channel organization occur and may help to restore impulse conduction after demyelination.On the other hand,changes in ion channel distribution may increase the energy demand of axons,thereby increasing the probability of axonal degeneration.Many attempts have been made or discussed in recent years to increase remyelination of affected axons in demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis.These approaches range from pharmacological treatments that reduce inflammatory processes or block ion channels to the modulation of neuronal activity through electrical cortical stimulation.However,these treatments either affect the entire organism(pharmacological)or exert a very local effect(electrodes).Current results show that neuronal activity is a strong regulator of oligodendroglial development.To bridge the gap between global and very local treatments,non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation could be considered.Transcranial magnetic stimulation is externally applied to brain areas and experiments with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation show that the neuronal activity can be modulated depending on the stimulation parameters in both humans and animals.In this review,we discuss the possibilities of influencing ion channel distribution and increasing neuronal activity by transcranial magnetic stimulation as well as the effect of this modulation on oligodendroglial cells and their capacity to remyelinate previously demyelinated axons.Although the physiological mechanisms underlying the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation clearly need further investigations,repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation may be a promising approach for non-invasive neuronal modulation aiming at enhancing remyelination and thus reducing neurodegeneration.Friederike Pfeiffer Alia Benali 2020Neural Regeneration Research2020,15,11:3

16Tapering-induced enhancement of light extraction efficiency of nanowire deep ultraviolet LED by theoretical simulations显示文摘A nanowire(NW) structure provides an alternative scheme for deep ultraviolet light emitting diodes(DUV-LEDs)that promises high material quality and better light extraction efficiency(LEE). In this report, we investigate the influence of the tapering angle of closely packed Al Ga N NWs, which is found to exist naturally in molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) grown NW structures, on the LEE of NW DUV-LEDs. It is observed that, by having a small tapering angle, the vertical extraction is greatly enhanced for both transverse magnetic(TM) and transverse electric(TE) polarizations. Most notably, the vertical extraction of TM emission increased from 4.8% to 24.3%,which makes the LEE reasonably large to achieve high-performance DUV-LEDs. This is because the breaking of symmetry in the vertical direction changes the propagation of the light significantly to allow more coupling into radiation modes. Finally, we introduce errors to the NW positions to show the advantages of the tapered NW structures can be projected to random closely packed NW arrays. 17A Novel Feature Selection Framework for Automatic Web Page Classification显示文摘The number of Internet users and the number of web pages being added to WWW increase dramatically every day.It is therefore required to automatically and e?ciently classify web pages into web directories.This helps the search engines to provide users with relevant and quick retrieval results.As web pages are represented by thousands of features,feature selection helps the web page classifiers to resolve this large scale dimensionality problem.This paper proposes a new feature selection method using Ward s minimum variance measure.This measure is first used to identify clusters of redundant features in a web page.In each cluster,the best representative features are retained and the others are eliminated.Removing such redundant features helps in minimizing the resource utilization during classification.The proposed method of feature selection is compared with other common feature selection methods.Experiments done on a benchmark data set,namely WebKB show that the proposed method performs better than most of the other feature selection methods in terms of reducing the number of features and the classifier modeling time.J.Alamelu Mangai V.Santhosh Kumar S.Appavu alias Balamurugan 2012International Journal of Automation and computing2012,9,4:3
18An Unsupervised Feature Selection Algorithm with Feature Ranking for Maximizing Performance of the Classifiers显示文摘Prediction plays a vital role in decision making. Correct prediction leads to right decision making to save the life, energy,efforts, money and time. The right decision prevents physical and material losses and it is practiced in all the fields including medical,finance, environmental studies, engineering and emerging technologies. Prediction is carried out by a model called classifier. The predictive accuracy of the classifier highly depends on the training datasets utilized for training the classifier. The irrelevant and redundant features of the training dataset reduce the accuracy of the classifier. Hence, the irrelevant and redundant features must be removed from the training dataset through the process known as feature selection. This paper proposes a feature selection algorithm namely unsupervised learning with ranking based feature selection(FSULR). It removes redundant features by clustering and eliminates irrelevant features by statistical measures to select the most significant features from the training dataset. The performance of this proposed algorithm is compared with the other seven feature selection algorithms by well known classifiers namely naive Bayes(NB),instance based(IB1) and tree based J48. 19Antifertility Activity of Hydroalcoholic Extract of Ocimum Basilicum Linn. Leaves on Female Wistar Rats显示文摘Objective To determine the effect of hydroalcoholic extract of Ocimum basilicum Linn. leaves on ovulation, implantation and maintenance of pregnancy in adult female cyclic Wistar rats. Methods Ocimum basilicum leaves extract (364 mg/kg and 624 mg/kg) was screened for its antiovulatory, antiimplantation and abortifacient activities. Vaginal smear of each rat was monitored daily during the 15-day treatment of the first experiment. Estimation of cholesterol in ovarian tissue and its histology was carried out to confirm its antiovulatory activity. In the second and third experiments, animals received treatment from 1st to 7th and 8th to 16th day of pregnancy, respectively. The number of implantations and litter size were determined through laparotomy on 10th and 20th day of pregnancy, respectively in two tests. The treated groups were compared with pain control. Results A significant increase in duration of estrus cycle and diestrus phase was observed (P<0.001). A significant decrease in ovarian weight and notable increase in ovarian tissue cholesterol level was also observed (P<0.001). Weight of uterus in treated group was found to be decreased. Histological report showed presence of large corpora lutea in ovarian parenchyma. Neither antiimplantation nor abortifacient effect was observed in rats treated with both the doses of extract.
