| 8 | Versatile subtypes of pericytes and their roles in spinal cord injury repair,bone development and repair显示文摘Vascular regeneration is a challenging topic in tissue repair. As one of the important components of the neurovascular unit(NVU),pericytes play an essential role in the maintenance of the vascular network of the spinal cord. To date, subtypes of pericytes have been identified by various markers, namely the PDGFR-β, Desmin, CD146, and NG2, each of which is involved with spinal cord injury(SCI) repair. In addition, pericytes may act as a stem cell source that is important for bone development and regeneration, whilst specific subtypes of pericyte could facilitate bone fracture and defect repair. One of the major challenges of pericyte biology is to determine the specific markers that would clearly distinguish the different subtypes of pericytes, and to develop efficient approaches to isolate and propagate pericytes. | 13 | A Virtual Network Mapping Algorithm Based on Time显示文摘As one of the challenges for network virtualization, virtual network embedding which maps Virtual network(VN) to the substrate network and allocates resources according to the requirements of VN in an efficient way has gained great attention. Existing algorithms generally make their decision according to the present available substrate network resource, especially bandwidth. This paper proposes a time-based VN embedding algorithm. A probability model is formulated to obtain the maximum probability that the available resources of substrate network can be used by succeeding VN requests. The probability is set as the weight of the node and the greedy algorithm is employed to embed the virtual node. The reciprocal of the probability is set as the weight of the link and the shortest path algorithm is employed to embed the virtual link. | 17 | Construction of hierarchical FeNi_(3)@(Fe,Ni)S_(2) core-shell heterojunctions for advanced oxygen evolution显示文摘The investigation of earth-abundant electrocatalysts for efficient water electrolysis is of central importance in renewable energy system, which is currently impeded by the large overpotential of oxygen evolution reaction (OER). NiFe sulfides show promising OER activity but are troubled by their low intrinsic conductivities. Herein, we demonstrate the construction of the porous core-shell heterojunctions of FeNi3@(Fe,Ni)S_(2) with tunable shell thickness via the reduction of hierarchical NiFe(OH)x nanosheets followed by a partial sulfidization. The conductive FeNi3 core provides the highway for electron transport, and the (Fe,Ni)S_(2) shell offers the exposed surface for in situ generation of S-doped NiFe-oxyhydroxides with high intrinsic OER activity, which is supported by the combined experimental and theoretical studies. In addition, the porous hierarchical morphology favors the electrolyte access and O_(2) liberation. Consequently, the optimized catalyst achieves an excellent OER performance with a low overpotential of 288 mV at 100 mA·cm^(−2), a small Tafel slope of 48 mV·dec^(−1), and a high OER durability for at least 1,200 h at 200 mA·cm^(−2). | 18 | Visual acuity is correlated with ischemia and neurodegeneration in patients with early stages of diabetic retinopathy显示文摘Purpose:We investigated the effects of retinal ischemia,neurodegeneration,and subclinical edema on best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)in the early stages of diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods:Ischemia was evaluated by the microvascular parameters measured by optical coherence tomography angiography.Neurodegeneration and subclinical edema were identified by the intraretinal layer thickness obtained by optical coherence tomography.Eyes with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy(n=132)from 89 patients were analyzed.Eyes were classified as having normal BCVA(n=88[66.7%],Snellen equivalent≥20/20)or decreased BCVA(n=44[33.3%],Snellen equivalent<20/20).The prevalence of ischemia,neurodegeneration,and subclinical edema was explored in patients with and without decreased BCVA,and correlations between BCVA and these pathological pathways were determined.Results:Vessel density in the deep retinal capillary plexus(DRCP)and thickness of ganglion cell layer plus inner plexiform layer(GCL-IPL)were significantly lower in eyes with decreased BCVA compared with eyes with normal BCVA(both P<0.05).In the final multiple regression predictive model,age,DRCP vessel density,and GCL-IPL thickness(all P≤0.044)were predictors of BCVA.DRCP vessel density and GCL-IPL thickness have an interactive effect on visual acuity.The proportions of ischemia and neurodegeneration were significantly higher in eyes with decreased BCVA than in eyes with normal BCVA(P=0.001 and P=0.004,respectively).Conclusion:During the natural course of the early stages of DR,ischemia and neurodegeneration were the main disease pathways associated with visual acuity,and the mechanisms varied among patients. | Jin Li Yue Zhou Feng Chen Yingzi Li Rong Zhou Chaoming Wu Huankai Yu Zhiyang Lin Ce Shi Gu Zheng Yilei Shao Qi Chen Fan Lu Meixiao Shen | 2021 | Eye and Vision2021,8,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Indoor Positioning Using Public FM and DTMB Signals Based on Compressive Sensing显示文摘Location-Based Services have become an indispensable part of our daily life, the sparsity of location finding makes it possible to estimate specific position by Compressive Sensing(CS). Using public Frequency Modulation(FM) broadcasting and Digital Television Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting(DTMB) signals, this paper presents an indoor positioning scheme, which is consisted of an offline stage and an online stage. In the offline stage, the Received Signal Strength(RSS) at the Reference Points(RPs) is measured, including the average and variance of public FM broadcasting and DTMB signals. In the online stage, the K-Weighted Nearest Neighbor algorithm is used to fulfill coarse positioning, which is able to narrow the selection scope of locations and choose partial RPs for accurate positioning. Then, the accurate positioning is implemented through CS. Experiment shows that the average positioning error of the proposed scheme is 1.63 m. What’s more, a CS-based method has been proposed in this paper to reduce the labor cost when collecting data. Experiment shows the average positioning error is 2.04 m, with the advantage of a 34% labor cost reduction.
