| 2 | Identification of coastal wetlands of international importance for waterbirds:a review of China Coastal Waterbird Surveys 2005–2013显示文摘Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems worldwide.The loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on wetlands.Methods:The China Coastal Waterbird Census was organized by volunteer birdwatchers in China's coastal region.Waterbirds were surveyed synchronously once every month at 14 sites,as well as irregularly at a further 18 sites,between September 2005 and December 2013.Results:A total of 75 species of waterbirds met the 1 % population level Ramsar listing criterion at least once at one site.The number of birds of the following species accounted for over 20 % of the total flyway populations at a single site:Mute Swan(Cygnus olor),Siberia Crane(Grus leucogeranus),Far Eastern Oystercatcher(Haematopus osculans),Bar-tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica),Spotted Greenshank(Tringa guttifer),Great Knot(Calidris tenuirostris),Spoon-billed Sandpiper(Calidris pygmeus),Saunders' s Gull(Larus saundersi),Relict Gull(Larus relictus),Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo),Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia),Black-faced Spoonbill(Platalea minor) and Dalmatian Pelican(Pelecanus crispus).A total of 26 sites supported at least one species of which their number met the1 % criterion.Forty-two species met the 1 % criterion in the Yellow River Delta,Shandong;29 at the Cangzhou coast,Hebei and 26 species at the Lianyungang coast,Jiangsu.Conclusions:The results highlight the international importance of China's coastal wetlands for waterbirds.This study also demonstrates that participation of local birdwatchers in waterbird surveys results in data that are invaluable not only for understanding the current status of waterbirds in China's coastal regions but also for waterbird conservation and management. | Qingquan Bai Jianzhong Chen Zhihong Chen Guotai Dong Jiangtian Dong Wenxiao Dong Vivian Wing Kan Fu Yongxiang Han Gang Lu Jing Li Yang Liu Zhi Lin Derong Meng Jonathan Martinez Guanghui Ni Kai Shan Renjie Sun Suixing Tian Fengqin Wang Zhiwei Xu Yat-tung Yu Jin Yang Zhidong Yang Lin Zhang Ming Zhang Xiangwu Zeng | 2015 | Chinese Birds2015,,3: | 20 |

| 7 | New indicators from bedding-parallel beef veins for the fault valve mechanism显示文摘Beef structures(bedding-parallel veins of fibrous calcite)are widespread within the Lower Triassic carbonate rocks in the Sichuan Basin of China,especially within clay-rich strata of low permeability.In the veins,fibrous calcite occurs in the outer zones,and coarse equant calcite in the inner zones.At least two generations of calcite crystallization took place during aqueous alteration,at the same time as deformation recorded by the calcite.The first-generation calcite fibers are at steep angles to the hydrocarbon-bearing host beds,and they grew vertically against the force of gravity at a time when the source rocks were maturing.Second-generation calcite occurs as coarse equant grains that sealed pores via localized fluid flow during horizontal tectonic compression,so that shear stresses acted at the fracture margins.Shearing of the host rock was accommodated in part by dissolution-precipitation creep(DPC),grain rotation,and grain slippage,recorded in crystallographic preferred orientations(CPOs)of the host calcite grains beside the crack walls.The beef veins formed during high pore-fluid overpressures along hydrofractures.We propose that the bedding-parallel veins with beef structures are evidence of a'crack-seal slip'fault valve process during hydrocarbon generation.The hydrocarbon-bearing calcite beef structure may be a good indicator of oil or gas migration,and of the flow direction of aqueous solutions. | ZHANG Bo YIN CongYuan GU ZhiDong ZHANG JinJiang YAN ShuYu WANG Yang | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,8: | 5 |

| 9 | Effect of fluoride on the corrosion behavior of nanostructured Ti-24Nb-4Zr-8Sn alloy in acidulated artificial saliva显示文摘The surface of titanium dental implants is highly susceptible to aggressive fluoride ions in the oral environment. Nanotechnology has proven an effective approach to improve the stability and corrosion resistance of titanium by applying a passive film. In this study, we investigated the effects of fluoride on the corrosion behavior of nanostructured(NS) Ti-24 Nb-4 Zr-8 Sn(Ti2448) alloy in acidulated artificial saliva(AAS)at 37 ℃, and then conducted comparisons with its coarse grained(CG) counterpart. Electrochemical techniques, such as potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS), as well as surface analysis including X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) with argon ion sputtering, and scanning electronic microscopy(SEM) were employed to evaluate the effects of fluoride on sensitivity to pitting and the tolerance of Ti2448 to fluoride in AAS solution. The results demonstrate that corrosion current density increased with F-concentration. In all respects, the NS Ti2448 alloy presented corrosion resistance superior to that of its coarse grained(CG) counterpart at low F-concentrations(<0.1%).Furthermore, a high content of F-(1%) was shown to promote the active dissolution of both alloys by increasing the rate of corrosion. Following immersion in the fluoridated AAS solution for 60 days, a tissuefriendly compound, Ca_3(PO_4)_2, was detected on the surface of the NS when F-= 0.01% and Na_2 TiF_6 was identified as the main component in the corrosion products of the CG as well as NS Ti2448 alloys when F-= 1%. High concentrations of F-produced pitting corrosion on the CG alloy, whereas NS Ti2448 alloy presented general corrosion in the form of lamellar separation under the same conditions. | 10 | Energy distribution in white organic light-emitting diodes with three primary color emitting layers显示文摘Two types of organic light-emitting diodes with structures of ITO/N,N'-bis(1-naphthyl)-N,N'-diphenyl,1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine (NPB)/tris(8-hydroquinolinato)aluminum(Alq 3)/2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-l,10-phenanthroline(BCP)/Alq 3:4-dicyanomethylene-2-(tert-butyl)-6-methyl-4H-pyran(DCJTB)/Alq 3 /Al and ITO/NPB/BCP/Alq 3 /Alq 3:DCJTB/Alq 3 /Al were studied.NPB was chosen as a hole-transporting/blue-emitting layer.Alq 3 adjacent to BCP acted as a green emitting layer while that adjacent to the Al cathode acted as an electron-transporting layer.Alq 3 doped with 2 wt.% DCJTB was used as a red emitting layer.The operating principles of the devices were explained by the mechanism of F rster energy transfer and the hole and exciton blocking effect of BCP.It was found that the spectral characteristics of the devices strongly depended on the relative location between the green emitting Alq 3 layer and the BCP layer,as well as their thickness.Pure white emission with the CIE coordinates of (0.33,0.33) was achieved by mixing the three primary colors in the device with the structure of ITO/NPB(30 nm)/BCP(6 nm)/Alq 3 (30 nm)/Alq 3:DCJTB(30 nm)/Alq 3 (30 nm)/Al.The BCP layer played an important role in distributing the exciton energy among the three emitting layers to achieve a balanced white light.The white emission of this device was largely insensitive to the driving voltage (15-27 V) with the insertion of the green emitting Alq 3 layer. | MENG LingChuan LOU ZhiDong YANG ShengYi DENG ZhaoRu | 2011 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,1: | 3 |

| 13 | Constructing public health evidence knowledge graph for decision-making support from COVID-19 literature of modelling study显示文摘The needs of mitigating COVID-19 epidemic prompt policymakers to make public health-related decision under the guidelines of science.Tremendous unstructured COVID-19 publications make it challenging for policymakers to obtain relevant evidence.Knowledge graphs(KGs)can formalize unstructured knowledge into structured form and have been used in supporting decision-making recently.Here,we introduce a novel framework that can ex-tract the COVID-19 public health evidence knowledge graph(CPHE-KG)from papers relating to a modelling study.We screen out a corpus of 3096 COVID-19 modelling study papers by performing a literature assessment process.We define a novel annotation schema to construct the COVID-19 modelling study-related IE dataset(CPHIE).We also propose a novel multi-tasks document-level information extraction model SS-DYGIE++based on the dataset.Leveraging the model on the new corpus,we construct CPHE-KG containing 60,967 entities and 51,140 rela-tions.Finally,we seek to apply our KG to support evidence querying and evidence mapping visualization.Our SS-DYGIE++(SpanBERT)model has achieved a F1 score of 0.77 and 0.55 respectively in document-level entity recognition and coreference resolution tasks.It has also shown high performance in the relation identification task.With evidence querying,our KG can present the dynamic transmissions of COVID-19 pandemic in different countries and regions.The evidence mapping of our KG can show the impacts of variable non-pharmacological interventions to COVID-19 pandemic.Analysis demonstrates the quality of our KG and shows that it has the potential to support COVID-19 policy making in public health. | Yunrong Yang Zhidong Cao Pengfei Zhao Dajun Daniel Zeng Qingpeng Zhang Yin Luo | 2021 | Journal of Safety Science and Resilience2021,2,3: | 2 |

| 15 | Effects of algae contamination on the hydrophobicity of high-voltage composite insulators显示文摘Algae colonisation has been observed on silicone rubber insulators around the world especially in a subtropical climate because the moderate temperature and moisture could aggravate the growth of algae upon silicone rubber material.The surface of these insulators easily forms a water film,and the originally excellent hydrophobicity is decreased or even destroyed.This study explores the regularity of the hydrophobicity changes and the underlying mechanism.Based on the solid layer method,silicone rubber samples were found with algae and inorganics quantitatively,and their contact angles were measured after reservation under different humidity levels.The results showed that although inorganic ash could accelerate the hydrophobic recovery process,algae colonisation decisively decreased the hydrophobicity,especially in moist climates.After an extensive investigation of biological contaminants,it was found that the appearance of algae was independent of inorganics,but algae could accelerate the accumulation of inorganics through water absorptivity and the viscosity of secretions.The water absorption ability of algae was compared with that of inorganic ash and sugar,and their difference was deduced to be due to the environmental adaptability of the algae organisms,which was reflected mainly in a dry climate.The microscopy analysis of bio-contaminants was conducted through SEM. | Shifang Yang Zhidong Jia Xiaogang Ouyang | 2019 | High Voltage2019,4,3: | 1 |

| 17 | Microstructure, phase stability and mechanical properties of Nb–Ni–Ti–Co–Zr and Nb–Ni–Ti–Co–Zr–Hf high entropy alloys显示文摘Owning to their excellent thermal stability and high strength at elevated temperature,high entropy alloys(HEAs) possess great potential for the application in aviation and aerospace fields.In present work,two novel Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr and Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr-Hf HEAs were prepared by arc melting and copper mold suction-casting method.The microstructure,phase stability,mechanical properties at room temperature and elevated temperature of the two HEAs were studied.Both of the HEAs possess high yield stress at room temperature,especially for the Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr(with 2331 Mpa).In addition,the Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr HEA exhibited high yield stress of 564 Mpa at elevated temperature of 800 ℃ and large compressive plastic strain(more than 50%at 800 ℃).Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr-Hf alloy showed new phase precipitation at 800 ℃,whereas the structure of Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr was more stable,which is one of the reason why it possesses high strength at room temperature and elevated temperature.The high temperature properties of the Nb-Ni-Ti-Co-Zr HEA make it promising for high temperature application. | Zhidong Han Xue Liu Shaofan Zhao Yang Shao Jinfeng Li Kefu Yao | 2015 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2015,25,5: | 1 |
