| 2 | Comprehensive Multi-Level Exploration of Buried Active Faults:an Example of the Yinchuan Buried Active Fault显示文摘The paper introduces the steps and methods of multi-approach,multi-level exploration of buried faults in thick Quaternary sediment regions by taking the test exploration of the Yinchuan active fault as example.Based on the comprehensive analyses of previous data,we choose the Xinqushao Village of Xingqing District of Yinchuan City as the test site for the comprehensive exploration.Firstly,we adopted shallow seismic investigation with group intervals of 10m,5m and 1m to gradually trace layer by layer the master fault of the Yinchuan buried fault from a deep depth to a shallow depth where drilling could be used.Then,with composite geological profile drilling,we determined the precise location and dip angle of the fault.The drilling show the buried depth of the upper offset point is 8.3m.Finally,large-scale trenching revealed that the actual buried depth of the upper offset point of the fault is 1.5m from the ground surface and there are paleoearthquake events of 5 stages.Combined with the preliminary result of corresponding sample age,we conclude the Yinchuan buried fault is a mid to late Holocene active fault. | Chai Chizhang Meng Guangkui Du Peng Wang Yin Liu Baojin Shen Weihua LeiQiyun Liao Yuhua Zhao Chengbin Feng Shaoying Zhang Xuehui Xie Xiaofeng | 2007 | Earthquake Research in China2007,21,3: | 1 |

| 11 | Changing Gly311 to an acidic amino acid in the MATE family protein DTX6 enhances Arabidopsis resistance to the dihydropyridine herbicides显示文摘In modern agriculture,frequent application of herbicides may induce the evolution of resistance in plants,but the mechanisms underlying herbicide resistance remain largely unexplored.Here,we report the char-acterization of rtp 1(resistant to paraquat 1),an Arabidopsis mutant showing strong resistance to the widely used herbicides paraquat and diquat.The rtp1 mutant is semi-dominant and carries a point mutation in the gene encoding the multidrug and toxic compound extrusion family protein DTX6,leading to the change of glycine to glutamic acid at residue 311(G311E).The wild-type DTX6 with glycine 311 conferred weak para-quat and diquat resistance when overexpressed,while mutation of glycine 311 to a negatively charged amino acid(G311E or G311D)markedly increased the paraquat and diquat resistance of plants,whereas mutation to a positively charged amino acid(G311R or G311K)compromised the resistance,suggesting that the charge property of residue 311 of DTX6 is critical for the paraquat and diquat resistance of Arabi-dopsis plants.DTX6 is localized in the endomembrane trafficking system and may undergo the endosomal sorting to localize to the vacuole and plasma membrane.Treatment with the V-ATPase inhibitor ConA reduced the paraquat resistance of the rtp1 mutant.Paraquat release and uptake assays demonstrated that DTX6 is involved in both exocytosis and vacuolar sequestration of paraquat.DTX6 and DTX5 show functional redundancy as the dtx5 dtx6 double mutant but not the dtx6 single mutant plants were more sen-sitive to paraquat and diquat than the wild-type plants.Collectively,our work reveals a potential mecha-nism for the evolution of herbicide resistance in weeds and provides a promising gene for the manipulation of plant herbicide resistance. | Zeyu Lv Mingming Zhao Wenjing Wang Qi Wang Mengqi Huang Chaoqun Li Qichao Lian Jinqiu Xia Ji Qi Chengbin Xiang Huiru Tang Xiaochun Ge | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,12: | 0 |
| 12 | Hallmark guided identification and characterization of a novel immune-relevant signature for prognostication of recurrence in stageⅠ-Ⅲlung adenocarcinoma显示文摘The high risk of postoperative mortality in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)patients is principally driven by cancer recurrence and low response rates to adjuvant treatment.Here,A combined cohort containing 1,026 stageⅠ-Ⅲpatients was divided into the learning(n Z 678)and validation datasets(n Z 348).The former was used to establish a 16-mRNA risk signature for recurrence prediction with multiple statistical algorithms,which was verified in the valida-tion set.Univariate and multivariate analyses confirmed it as an independent indicator for both recurrence-free survival(RFS)and overall survival(OS).Distinct molecular characteristics between the two groups including genomic alterations,and hallmark pathways were compre-hensively analyzed.Remarkably,the classifier was tightly linked to immune infiltrations,high-lighting the critical role of immune surveillance in prolonging survival for LUAD.Moreover,the classifier was a valuable predictor for therapeutic responses in patients,and the low-risk group was more likely to yield clinical benefits from immunotherapy.A transcription factor regulato-ry proteineprotein interaction network(TF-PPI-network)was constructed via weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)concerning the hub genes of the signature.The con-structed multidimensional nomogram dramatically increased the predictive accuracy.There-fore,our signature provides a forceful basis for individualized LUAD management with promising potential implications. | Yongqiang Zhang Zhao Yang Yuqin Tang Chengbin Guo Danni Lin d Linling Cheng Xun Hu Kang Zhang Gen Li | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,4: | 0 |

In order to determine the location, characteristics and activities of the Zhengzhou-Laoyachen fault, shallow seismic prospecting with different exploration depth across the Laoyachen fault was carried out in the northern suburbs of Zhengzhou city in 2006. The images of the subterranean structure and tectonics at depths of 30m~6000m have been available by applying the combined methods of explosive seismic sources and vibrator seismic sources, as well as the combination of diverse observation systems with different parameters. The outcome indicates that the Laoyachen fault is a normal fault running NW and dipping NE, which offsets stratums ahead of Neogene (N).
