| 1 | Shining light on transition metal sulfides:New choices as highly efficient antibacterial agents显示文摘Globally,millions of people die of microbial infection-related diseases every year.The more terrible situation is that due to the overuse of antibiotics,especially in developing countries,people are struggling to fight with the bacteria variation.The emergence of super-bacteria will be an intractable environmental and health hazard in the future unless novel bactericidal weapons are mounted.Consequently,it is critical to develop viable antibacterial approaches to sustain the prosperous development of human society.Recent researches indicate that transition metal sulfides(TMSs)represent prominent bactericidal application potential owing to the meritorious antibacterial performance,acceptable biocompatibility,high solar energy utilization efficiency,and excellent photo-to-thermal conversion characteristics,and thus,a comprehensive review on the recent advances in this area would be beneficial for the future development.In this review article,we start with the antibacterial mechanisms of TMSs to provide a preliminary understanding.Thereafter,the state-of-the-art research progresses on the strategies for TMSs materials engineering so as to promote their antibacterial properties are systematically surveyed and summarized,followed by a summary of the practical application scenarios of TMSs-based antibacterial platforms.Finally,based on the thorough survey and analysis,we emphasize the challenges and future development trends in this area. | Hecheng Han Jingjing Yang Xiaoyan Li Yuan Qi Zhengyi Yang Zejun Han Yanyan Jiang Martina Stenzel Hui Li Yixin Yin Yi Du Jiurong Liu Fenglong Wang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,8: | 2 |

| 3 | Simultaneous optical and radar observations of poleward moving auroral forms under different IMF conditions显示文摘Using high temporal resolution optical data obtained from three-wavelength all-sky imagers at Chinese Yellow River Station in the Arctic, together with the EISCAT Svalbard radar (ESR) and SuperDARN radars, we investigated the dayside poleward moving auroral forms (PMAFs) and the associated plasma features in the polar ionosphere under different interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) conditions, between 0900 and 1010 UT on 22 December 2003. Simultaneous optical and ESR observations revealed that all PMAFs were clearly associated with pulsed particle precipitations. During northward IMF, particles can precipitate into lower altitudes and reach the ionospheric E-region, and there is a reverse convection cell associated with these PMAFs. This cell is one of the typical signatures of the dayside high-latitude (lobe) reconnection in the polar ionosphere. These results indicate that the PMAFs were associated with the high-latitude reconnection. | 4 | Dayside poleward moving auroral forms and ionospheric convection under stable interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) conditions显示文摘Using high temporal resolution optical data obtained from three-wavelength all-sky imagers over six winters continuously at Yellow River Station (78.92°N,11.93°E) in Arctic,we statistically investigated the dependence of location of poleward moving auroral forms (PMAFs) on the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) B z and B y components as a function of MLT and MLAT under stable IMF conditions.It is found that more PMAFs occurred in lower latitude for Bz<0 and there was less evident IMF B y-related prenoon-postnoon asymmetry for Bz<0 than for Bz>0.We found that the PMAFs were distributed over a wide range of MLT when Bz<0,which indicates that the reconnection X-line might spread like an 'S' shape.However,during northward IMF,PMAFs were observed predominantly prenoon for IMF By>0 and postnoon for IMF By<0 associating with the effect of the high-latitude reconnection,which is largely consistent with the theoretical model of the convection flow. | XING ZanYang YANG HuiGen HAN DeSheng WU ZhenSen LIU JunMing HU ZeJun ZHANG QingHe HU HongQiao LIU YongHua | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,4: | 2 |

| 8 | Effect of interplanetary shock on an ongoing substorm:Simultaneous satellite-ground auroral observations显示文摘Substorm processes have been studied in detail,and it is well known that interplanetary(IP)shock encountering the terrestrial magnetosphere causes global responses.However,how IP shock compression to the magnetosphere affects the development of an ongoing substorm remains uninvestigated.Herein,the simultaneous satellite and ground-based auroral evolutions associated with an IP shock impact on the magnetopause during an ongoing substorm on May 7th,2005,were examined.The IMAGE satellite over the Southern Hemisphere captured the global development substorm,which was initiated at 17:38:47 UT.The poleward branch of the nightside auroral oval was fortuitously monitored by an all-sky camera at the Zhongshan Station(-74.5°magnetic latitude,ZHO)in Antarctica.The satellite imager observed continuous brightening and broadening of the nightside auroral oval after the IP shock arrival.The simultaneous ground-based optical aurora measurement displayed the intensification and expansion of a preexisting auroral surge poleward of the aurora oval.The geomagnetic field variations and the instantly increased PC indices indicated an elevated merging rate and enhanced the convection-related DP-2 currents.Therefore,this IP shock transient impact did not significantly change the ongoing development of the substorm,although it meets the magnetospheric precondition hypothesis. | LIU JianJun CHEN XiangCai WANG ZhiQiang HU ZeJun ZHAO XingXin HU HongQiao HAN DeSheng LUI A.T.Y | 2023 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,3: | 1 |
