| 2 | Clinicopathological parameters predicting recurrence of pT1N0 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘AIM To identify the clinicopathological characteristics of pT1 N0 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) that are associated with tumor recurrence. METHODS We reviewed 216 pT1 N0 thoracic ESCC cases who underwent esophagectomy and thoracoabdominal two-field lymphadenectomy without preoperative chemoradiotherapy. After excluding those cases with clinical follow-up recorded fewer than 3 mo and those who died within 3 mo of surgery, we included 199 cases in the current analysis. Overall survival and recurrencefree survival were assessed by the Kaplan-Meier method, and clinicopathological characteristics associated with any recurrence or distant recurrence were evaluated using univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards models. Early recurrence(≤ 24 mo) and correlated parameters were assessed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression models.RESULTS Forty-seven(24%) patients had a recurrence at 3 to 178(median, 33) mo. The 5-year recurrence-free survival rate was 80.7%. None of 13 asymptomatic cases had a recurrence. Preoperative clinical symptoms, upper thoracic location, ulcerative or intraluminal mass macroscopic tumor type, tumor invasion depth level, basaloid histology, angiolymphatic invasion, tumor thickness, submucosal invasion thickness, diameter of the largest single tongue of invasion, and complete negative aberrant p53 expression were significantly related to tumor recurrence and/or recurrence-free survival. Upper thoracic tumor location, angiolymphatic invasion, and submucosal invasion thickness were independent predictors of tumor recurrence(Hazard ratios = 3.26, 3.42, and 2.06, P < 0.001, P < 0.001, and P = 0.002, respectively), and a nomogram for predicting recurrence-free survival with these three predictors was constructed. Upper thoracic tumor location and angiolymphatic invasion were independent predictors of distant recurrence. | 3 | 仙人掌果提取液对卵巢癌的抑制作用显示文摘目的:研究仙人掌果提取液在动物体内和体外对卵巢癌的抑制作用。方法:用Crystalviolet方法测定、细胞周期分析及细胞凋亡TUNEL分析观察仙人掌果提取液在体外对卵巢癌细胞生长的抑制作用;仙人掌果提取液对人卵巢癌的动物模型的治疗效果。结果:2种卵巢癌细胞(OVCA420和SKOV3)对于不同浓度仙人掌果提取液反应敏感程度不同,IC50分别是0·8%和8%,正常卵巢上皮细胞(IOSE)的IC50为2%;仙人掌果提取液可以有效的抑制卵巢癌在动物体内的生长(P<0·05),与N-(4-hydroxyphernyl)retinamide(4HPR)作用相似(P>0·05)。结论:仙人掌果提取液对体外卵巢癌细胞生长和动物体内的卵巢癌生长均有明显抑制作用。 | 邹大明 刘华钢 Molly Brewer Jean M Feugang 梁秋云 Kenneth D. | 4 | Microstructure and Fracture Morphology in the Welding Zone of Cr18Mo2 Ferritic Stainless Steel显示文摘Microstructure, precipitates and fracture morphology in the weld metal and the heat-affected zone (HAZ) of Cr18Mo2 ferritic stainless steel have been studied by means of metalloscope, SEM,TEM and X-ray diffractometer. Experimental results indicate that crystalline grain coarsening in HAZ is one of the reason resulting in the embrittlement fracture in the welding zone of the ferritic stainless steel. Some precipitates (TiC, TiN and Cr2N) in the steel promote production and development of the brittle cracks.
