1Advances in biomaterials and regenerative medicine for primary ovarian insufficiency therapy显示文摘Primary ovarian insufficiency(POI)is an ovarian dysfunction that affects more than 1%of women and is characterized by hormone imbalances that afflict women before the age of 40.The typical perimenopausal symptoms result from abnormal levels of sex hormones,especially estrogen.The most prevalent treatment is hormone replacement therapy(HRT),which can relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.However,HRT cannot restore ovarian functions,including secretion,ovulation,and fertility.Recently,as part of a developing field of regenerative medicine,stem cell therapy has been proposed for the treatment of POI.Thus,we recapitulate the literature focusing on the use of stem cells and biomaterials for POI treatment,and sum up the underlying mechanisms of action.A thorough understanding of the work already done can aid in the development of guidelines for future translational applications and clinical trials that aim to cure POI by using regenerative medicine and biomedical engineering strategies.Sichen Zhang Dashuai Zhu Xuan Mei Zhenhua Li Junlang Li Mengjie Xie Halle Jiang Williams Lutz Shaowei Wang Ke Cheng 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:9
2Early-Cretaceous Syenites and Granites in the Northeastern Tengchong Block, SW China: Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications显示文摘Whole-rock major and trace element and Sr-Nd isotopic data, together with zircon LA ICPMS in-situ U-Pb and Hf isotopic data of the syenites and granites in the Tengchong Block are reported in order to understand their petrogenesis and tectonic implications. Zircon U-Pb data gives the emplacement ages of ca. 115.3±0.9 Ma for syenites and 115.7±0.8 Ma for granites, respectively. The syenites are characterized by low SiO_2 content(62.01–63.03 wt%) and notably high Na_2O content(7.04–7.24 wt%) and Na_2O/K_2O ratios(2.02–2.10), low MgO, Fe_2O_3 T and TiO_2, enrichment of LILEs(large-ion lithophile element) such as Rb, Th, U, K, and Pb) and obvious depletion HFSE(high field strength element; e.g. Nb, Ta, P, and Ti) with clearly negative Eu anomalies(d Eu=0.53–0.56). They also display significant negative whole-rock εNd(t) values of-6.8 and zircon εHf(t) values(-9.11 to-0.27, but one is +5.30) and high initial ^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr=0.713013. Based on the data obtained in this study, we suggest that the ca. 115.3 Ma syenites were possibly derived from a sodium-rich continental crustal source, and the fractionation of some ferro-magnesian mineral and plagioclase might occur during the evolution of magma. The granites have high SiO_2 content(71.35–74.47 wt%), metaluminous to peraluminous, low Rb/Ba, Rb/Sr, and Al_2O_3/(MgO+FeOT+TiO_2) ratios and moderate(Al_2O_3+MgO+FeOT+TiO_2) content. They show low initial ^(87) Sr/^(86) Sr(0.703408 to 0.704241) and εNd(t) values(-3.8 to-3.5), plotted into the evolutionary trend between basalts and lower crust. Hence, we suggest that the granites were derived from the melting of mixing sources in the ancient continental crust involving some metabasaltic materials and predominated metasedimentary greywackes. 3Plasmonic resonance-linewidth shrinkage to boost biosensing显示文摘Coupling effects of surface plasmon resonance(SPR)induce changes in the wavelength,intensity,and linewidth of plasmonic modes.Here,inspired by coupling effects,we reveal an abrupt linewidth-shrinking effect in 2 D gold nanohole arrays at the azimuthal angle of 45°arising from the interference of two degenerate SPR modes.We further demonstrate the biosensing capability under various excitation conditions for detecting the critical molecular biomarker of prostatic carcinoma,and achieve the maximum sensitivity at this angle.Our study not only enhances the understanding toward plasmonic resonance-linewidth shrinking,but also provides a promising strategy to greatly improve biosensing performance by light manipulation on plasmonic nanostructures.Min Gao Weimin Yang Zhengying Wang Shaowei Lin Jinfeng Zhu Zhilin Yang 2020Photonics Research2020,8,7:4
4Vibration signal-based chatter identification for milling of thin-walled structure显示文摘In high speed milling aeronautical part,tool condition monitoring(TCM)is very important,because it is prone to get a chatter owing to the low stiffness of thin-walled structures.And the TCM is key technology for automated machining.In this paper,aiming to chatter monitoring in thin-walled structure milling,a variational mode decomposition–energy distribution(VMD-ED)method is proposed to improve the identification accuracy.And a moving average root mean square–mean value(MARMS-MV)identification method and a variational mode decomposition–energy entropy(VMD-EE)identification method are also tested.Identification accuracy and computing time of the three methods are compared.The vibration signals collected from the spindle and worktable are also contrasted.The conducted experimental study shows that,the proposed VMD-ED method offers an identification method for chatter monitoring with greater sensitivity,better stability and less computing time,and mounting the vibration sensor on worktable is better than spindle for a chatter monitoring system.Wenping MOU Shaowei ZHU Zhenxi JIANG Ge SONG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1:3

13An Approach for Quantifying the Influence of Seepage Dissolution on Seismic Performance of Concrete Dams显示文摘Many concrete dams seriously suffer from long-term seepage dissolution,and the induced mechanical property deterioration of concrete may significantly affect the structural performance,especially the seismic safety.An approach is presented in this paper to quantify the influence of seepage dissolution on seismic performance of concrete dams.To connect laboratory test with numerical simulation,dissolution tests are conducted for concrete specimens and using the cumulative relative leached calcium as an aging index,a deterioration model is established to predict the mechanical property of leached concrete in the first step.A coupled seepage-calcium dissolutionmigrationmodel containing two calculation modes is proposed to simulate the spatially non-uniformdeterioration of concrete dams.Based on the simulated state of a roller compacted concrete dam subjected to 100 years of seepage dissolution,seismic responses of the damare subsequently analyzed.During which the nonlinear cracking of concrete,the radiation damping of the far-field foundation is considered.Research results show that seepage dissolution will seriously weaken the seismic safety of concrete dams because of the dissolution-induced decrease of effective thickness of the dam body.The upstream surface,dam toe and gallery wall suffer from a large degree of dissolution,whereas it is minimal and basically the same inside the dam body,at a degree of 0.19%within 100 years.The horizontal displacements of dam crest under the design static load and fortification against earthquake increase by 6.9%and 21.9%,respectively,and the dissolution-induced seismic cracking leads to the failure of dam anti-seepage system.This study can provide engineers with a reference basis for reinforcement decision of old concrete dams.Shaowei Wang Cong Xu Hao Gu Pinghua Zhu Hui Liu Bo Xu 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,4:1
