3Characterization and evaluation of rice blast resistance of Chinese indica hybrid rice parental lines显示文摘The development of resistant varieties and hybrid combinations has been the most effective and economical strategy to control blast disease caused by Magnaporthe oryzae.However, the distribution of major R genes and blast resistance characterization in hybrid rice parents has not been well investigated, resulting in their limited use in hybrid rice blast-resistance breeding. In the present study, 88 elite indica hybrid rice parental lines were evaluated with 30 isolates of M. oryzae collected from the main planting area of indica hybrid rice in China and were characterized for the presence of 11 major resistance genes using molecular markers. The pathogenicity assays showed that four types of hybrid rice parent line showed some resistance to M. oryzae. However, the proportions of highly resistant lines and the mean resistance frequency(RF) varied among the four types, with resistance in decreasing order shown by three-line restorer lines, three-line maintainer lines, two-line sterile lines, and two-line restorer lines. All 88 hybrid rice parental lines carried more than one R gene, but none carried the R genes Pi1 and Pi2. Although Pid3 and Pi9 were present only in three-line restorer lines and Pigm only in three-line maintainer lines, the remaining six R genes(Pib, Pid2, Pi5, Pia, Pi54, and Pita) were present in the four types of hybrid rice parent with significantly different distribution frequencies. The correlation between R genes and resistance reactions was investigated. 4Analysis of genetic architecture and favorable allele usage of agronomic traits in a large collection of Chinese rice accessions显示文摘Genotyping and phenotyping large natural populations provide opportunities for population genomic analysis and genome-wide association studies(GWAS). Several rice populations have been re-sequenced in the past decade;however, many major Chinese rice cultivars were not included in these studies. Here, we report large-scale genomic and phenotypic datasets for a collection mainly comprised of 1,275 rice accessions of widely planted cultivars and parental hybrid rice lines from China. The population was divided into three indica/Xian and three japonica/Geng phylogenetic subgroups that correlate strongly with their geographic or breeding origins. We acquired a total of 146 phenotypic datasets for 29 agronomic traits under multi-environments for different subpopulations. With GWAS, we identified a total of 143 significant association loci, including three newly identified candidate genes or alleles that control heading date or amylose content. Our genotypic analysis of agronomically important genes in the population revealed that many favorable alleles are underused in elite accessions, suggesting they may be used to provide improvements in future breeding efforts. 5A Novel Multiscale Reinforcement by In-Situ Growing Carbon Nanotubes on Graphene Oxide Grafted Carbon Fibers and Its Reinforced Carbon/Carbon Composites with Improved Tensile Properties显示文摘In-situ growing carbon nanotubes(CNTs)directly on carbon?bers(CFs)always lead to a degraded tensile strength of CFs and then a poor?ber-dominated mechanical property of carbon/carbon composites(C/Cs).To solve this issue,here,a novel carbon?ber-based multiscale reinforcement is reported.To synthesize it,carbon?bers(CFs)have been?rst grafted by graphene oxide(GO),and then carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have been in-situ grown on GO-grafted CFs by catalytic chemical vapor deposition.Characterizations on this novel reinforcement show that GO grafting cannot only nondestructively improve the surface chemical activity of CFs but also protect CFs against the high-temperature corrosion of metal catalyst during CNT growth,which maintains their tensile properties.Tensile property tests for unidirectional C/Cs with different preforms show that this novel reinforcement can endow C/C with improved tensile properties,32% and 87%higher than that of pure C/C and C/C only doped with in-situ grown CNTs.This work would open up a possibility to fabricate multiscale C/Cs with excellent global performance.Yunyu Li Ling-jun Guo Ya-wen Wang He-jun Li Qiang Song 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,5:8

7针对Terra/MODIS数据的改进分裂窗地表温度反演算法(英文)显示文摘针对Terra/MODIS数据提出改进的分裂窗地表温度反演算法。充分考虑了传感器观测角度(VZA)的影响,并对地表和有效大气辐射按照不同的亮度温度区间分别进行Planck函数简化。利用TIGR3大气廓线库中的875条晴空大气廓线,ASTER波谱库中的106条地物发射率波谱,结合MODTRAN4大气辐射传输模型模拟得到分裂窗算法系数。利用MODTRAN4模拟数据对算法精度进行验证,结果表明本文的改进算法和原算法的均方根误差RMSE分别为0.34K和0.65K。敏感性分析表明,在中等湿润的大气条件下,算法对大气水汽含量并不敏感。该算法降低了传感器观测角度带来的地表温度反演误差。利用2009年6月美国SURFRAD辐射观测网6个站点的实测数据对改进算法、原算法以及MOD11_L2地表温度产品进行了对比验证,RMSE分别是0.93K、1.49K和1.0K,表明本文算法可以提高反演精度。Ri Changin 柳钦火 历华 方莉 YU Yunyue SUN Donglian 2013遥感学报2013,17,4:8
8Gene diagnosis and targeted breeding for blast-resistant Kongyu 131without changing regional adaptability显示文摘The fungus Magnaporthe oryzae threatens the rice production of Kongyu 131 (KY131),a leading japonica variety in Northeast China.In this study,two rice lines,KP1 and KP2-Hd1,were obtained by introgressing the blast resistance genes Pi1 and Pi2 into KY131,respectively.However,both lines headed later than KY131.RICE60K SNP array analysis showed that Hd1 closely linked to Pi2 was introgressed into KP2-Hd1,and the linkage drag of Hd1 was broken by recombination.On the other hand,no known flowering genes were introgressed into KP1.Gene diagnosis by resequencing six flowering genes showed that KP1 carried functional Hd16 and Ghd8 alleles.Due to its suppression role in heading under long-day conditions,Ghd8 was chosen as the target for gene editing to disrupt its function.Four sgRNAs targeting different sites within Ghd8 were utilized to induce large-deletion mutations,which were easy to detect via agarose gel electrophoresis.All the ghd8-mutated KP1 lines were resistant to rice blast disease and headed earlier than the control KP1,even than KY131,under natural long-day conditions,which ensures its growth in Northeast China.This study confirmed that a combination of gene diagnosis and targeted gene editing is a highly efficient way to quickly eliminate undesired traits in a breeding line.Xiangchun Zhou Gonghao Jiang Longwei Yang Lei Qiu Ping He Chunxiao Nong Yunyue Wang Yuqing He Yongzhong Xing 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,10:7
9Strategy for Use of Rice Blast Resistance Genes in Rice Molecular Breeding显示文摘Rice blast is one of the most destructive diseases affecting rice production worldwide.The development and rational use of resistant varieties has been the most effective and economical measure to control blast.In this review,we summarized the cloning and utilization of rice blast resistance genes,such as Pi1,Pi2,Pi9,Pi54,Pigm and Piz-t.We concluded that three main problems in the current breeding of rice blast resistance are:availability of few R(resistance)genes that confer resistance to both seedling and panicle blast,the resistance effect of pyramided lines is not the result of a simple accumulation of resistance spectrum,and only a few R genes have been successfully used for molecular breeding.Therefore,novel utilization strategies for rice blast R genes in molecular breeding were proposed,such as accurately understanding the utilization of R genes in main modern rice varieties,creating a core resistant germplasm with excellent comprehensive traits,screening and utilizing broadspectrum and durable resistance gene combinations.Lastly,the trends and possible development direction of blast resistance improvement were also discussed,including new genes regulating resistance identified via GWAS(genome-wide association study)and improving rice blast resistance using genetic editing.XIAO Ning WU Yunyu LI Aihong 2020Rice science2020,27,4:7

11Remote sensing of earth’s energy budget:synthesis and review显示文摘The Earth’s climate is largely determined by its energy budget.Since the 1960s,satellite remote sensing has been used in estimating these energy budget components at both the top of the atmosphere(TOA)and the surface.Besides the broadband sensors that have been traditionally used for monitoring Earth’s Energy Budget(EEB),data from a variety of narrowband sensors aboard both polar-orbiting and geostationary satellites have also been extensively employed to estimate the EEB components.This paper provides a comprehensive review of the satellite missions,state-of-the art estimation algorithms and the satellite products,and also synthesizes current understanding of the EEB and spatiotemporal variations.The TOA components include total solar irradiance,reflected shortwave radiation/planetary albedo,outgoing longwave radiation,and energy imbalance.The surface components include incident solar radiation,shortwave albedo,shortwave net radiation,longwave downward and upwelling radiation,land and sea surface temperature,surface emissivity,all-wave net radiation,and sensible and latent heat fluxes.Some challenges,and outlook such as virtual constellation of different satellite sensors,temporal homogeneity tests of long time-series products,algorithms ensemble,and products intercomparison are also discussed.Shunlin Liang Dongdong Wang Tao He Yunyue Yu 2019International Journal of Digital Earth2019,12,7:5

13Dual-Fuel-Driven Bactericidal Micromotor显示文摘In this paper, we report fabrication of the bimetallic Janus microsphere, a magnesium microsphere with a silver surface coating, through thermal evaporation technique. Because of the Janus structure, this micromotor can be propelled in two different directions by the surface silver or magnesium ‘engine' and hydrogen peroxide or water fuel. In addition, due to the bactericidal property of silver, this autonomous micromotor is capable of killing bacteria in solution. As compared to the static one, the micromotor is able to kill the bacteria at a much faster rate(about nine times of that of the static one),demonstrating the superiority of the motion one. 14Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine in medical practice:a survey of community residents in Beijing,China显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate how community residents in Beijing understood and used Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in their medical practice.METHODS:This was a cross-sectional study conducted on 3410 community residents from four large communities of Tongzhou district in Beijng,China.A validated, self-administered questionnaire comprised of three sections was used to gather the data.A systematic sampling procedure was applied to recruit the community residents.RESULTS:A total of 3410 participants completed the questionnaire survey.It showed that in highly educated residents, 33.4%(170) knew of the names of 3-10 Chinese herbals, 35.8%(182) knew of names of 3-10 traditional Chinese patent drug.Among all the respondent residents, 80.7%(2753)believed that TCM herbal therapy and TCM non-drug treatments were effective in disease treatment, health enhancement, 85.7%(2923) had taken traditional Chinese patent drug in their life,56.8%(1937) of residents had used herbal decoction, 40.0%(1365) had received non-drug treatment of TCM, such as acupuncture, massage, cupping, auricular acupuncture.Among the elderly residents, 11.4%(98) often used Chinese patent drug and 9.8%(85) often used herbal decoction.In addition, 70.8%(2415) of residents were willing to accept knowledge and information on TCM for health enhancement and disease prevention, such as medicated diet, medicinal tea, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, although 82.8%(2825) of residents had never used them.CONCLUSION:Chinese patent drug and herbal decoction are widely used in the communities in Beijing, and there existed a possible close correlation between high educational level and better understanding of TCM.Age and occupation also correlated with the attitude to TCM therapies.The characteristics of the residents should be considered seriously in the course of promoting the understanding and application of TCM.Liu Zhongdi Huang Yunyu Cui Zhaoli Tan Yong Yang Jing Lü Aiping Wang Yaoxian Jiang Miao 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:3
15NOx Emission Reduction Technology for Marine Engine Based on Tier-Ⅲ:A Review显示文摘The development of maritime trade has greatly promoted the development of diesel engines.However,with the increasingly serious environmental problems,more and more attention has been paid to the exhaust emissions of high-power marine diesel engines.The restrictions on SOx have been implemented globally,and the limitation of the NO,will be the next priority.This paper illustrates(a)Principle and research progress of NOx emissions-reduction technology of marine diesel engine;(b)Summary of advantages and disadvantages among various reduction technologies and their reduction effects;(c)The application effect of mainstream technology on board.Firstly,since exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)can achieve Tier-Ⅲ directly from Tier-Ⅰ without considering the increased fuel consumption.It is deemed as the most promising technology to reduce emissions by controlling combustion condition.However,EGR has shortcomings of excessive increase in ftiel consumption and generation of waste water,which need to be solved immediately.Secondly,selective catalytic reduction(SCR)is the most effective and straightforward means to achieve Tier-Ⅲ.Despite of the continuous optimization of SCR unit volume,the problem of scrap catalyst seriously limits its wide application.How to match the supercharger more efficiently is a key factor in choosing between high and low pressure SCR.Thirdly,nature gas(NG)engines are capable of achieving a reduction in NOx,but in order to meet the requirements of Tier-Ⅲ,it still needs to be assisted by other technologies.The emissions of hydrocarbon(HC)and CO in NG engines are huge defects that must be solved.Lastly,technologies such as the Miller cycle,Two-stage supercharging and mixed-water combustion can also reduce emissions but were rarely used alone.These technologies can be combined with EGR,SCR and NG engines to optimize the enginesJ economy and emission characteristics.LU Xiuwei GENG Peng CHEN Yunyue 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,5:2

18Expression Profile and Function Analysis of Long Non-coding RNAs in the Infection of Coxsackievirus B3显示文摘The roles of IncRNAs in the infection of enteroviruses have been barely demonstrated.In this study,we used coxsackievirus B3(CVB3),a typical enterovirus,as a model to investigate the expression profiles and functional roles of IncRNAs in enterovirus infection.We profiled IncRNAs and mRNA expression in CVB3-infected HeLa cells by IncRNA-mRNA integrated microarrays.As a result,700 differentially expressed IncRNAs(431 up-regulated and 269 down-regulated)and 665 differentially expressed mRNAs(299 up-regulated and 366 down-regulated)were identified in CVB3 infection.Then we performed IncRNA-mRNA integrated pathway analysis to identify potential functional impacts of the differentially expressed mRNAs,in which IncRNA-mRNA correlation network was built.According to IncRNA-mRNA correlation,we found that XLOC-001188,an IncRNA down-regulated in CVB3 infection,was negatively correlated with NFAT5 mRNA,an anti-CVB3 gene reported previously.This interaction was supported by qPCR detection following siRNA-mediated knockdown of XLOC-001188,which showed an increase of NFAT5 mRNA and a reduction of CVB3 genomic RNA.In addition,we observed that four most significantly altered IncRNAs,SNHG11,RP11-145F16.2,RP11-1023L17.1 and RP11-1021N1.2 share several common correlated genes critical for CVB3 infection,such as BRE and IRF2BP1.In all,our studies reveal the alteration of IncRNA expression in CVB3 infection and its potential influence on CVB3 replication,providing useful information for future studies of enterovirus infection.Lei Tong Ye Qiu Hui Wang Yunyue Qu Yuanbo Zhao Lexun Lin Yan Wang Weizhen Xu Wenran Zhao Hongyan He Guangze Zhao Mary HZhang Decheng Yang Xingyi Ge Zhaohua Zhong 2019Virologica Sinica2019,34,6:2
19Starch supplementation improves the reproductive performance of sows in different glucose tolerance status显示文摘This study was to evaluate the effects of glucose tolerance status,maternal starch supplementation and soybean substitution in diets on the performance of dams and their offspring.Eighty-eight pregnant sows(Landrace x Large White)were selected from an initial total of 120 sows,based on blood glucose test values,and assigned to 4 experimental treatments in a 2×2 factorial design.The factors were glucose tolerance status(glucose intolerant[GIT]vs.normal glucose tolerant[NGT])or dietary treatments(corn starch diet[CS]vs.soybean substitution diet[SSI]).A higher area under the curve(AUC)for post-meal glucose was observed(P<0.05)in the GIT group than in the NGT group on d 109 of gestation.The CS group had a lower value of homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance than the SS group(P<0.05)on d 109 of gestation.Corn starch supplementation for sows decreased the stillbirth rate(P<0.05),regardless of the sows’glucose tolerance status.The villus height of the jejunum and the villus height to crypt depth ratio of the ileum were greater in normal birth weight piglets from the CS group than from the SS group(P<0.01),and so was the activity of sucrase in the jejunum and ileum(P<0.01).Compared with the SS group,the CS group showed a reduction in pre-weaning mortality rate,an increase in the number of high-birth-weight piglets,and a decrease in the number of low-birth-weight piglets(P<0.05)under GIT status.In conclusion,sows fed CS decreased stillbirth rate and improved insulin resistance,as well as improving the intestinal morphology and digestive enzyme activities of their progeny,regardless of glucose tolerance status.Additionally,the CS group improved birth weight distribution and decreased pre-weaning mortality rate of piglets under GIT status.Yunyu Yang Ming Deng Jianzhao Chen Xichen Zhao Kaili Xiao Wenliang He Xinggang Qiu Yanzhen Xu Yulong Yin Chengquan Tan 2021Animal Nutrition2021,,4:2
20Identification of Damage on Different Plants Caused by Botrytis cinerea and its Extracellular Macromolecular Toxin显示文摘With Botrytis cinerea and its extracellular macromolecular toxins as the test materials,30 speices of plants belonging to 29 genera and 21 families were selected as the test plants to observe the infectivity of B. cinerea and damage status of macromolecular toxins secreted by B. cinerea on plants. The resulsts showed that 17 species of plants were both infected by B. cinerea and damaged by toxins,accounting for 56.7% of the total plants. Two species of plants could be neither infected by B. cinerea nor damaged by toxins.
