2Design of Time-constrained Guidance Laws via Virtual Leader Approach显示文摘Guidance problems with flight time constraints are considered in this article.A new virtual leader scheme is used for design of guidance laws with time constraints.The core idea of this scheme is to adopt a virtual leader for real missiles to convert a guidance problem with time constraints to a nonlinear tracking problem,thereby making it possible to settle the problem with a variety of control methods.A novel time-constrained guidance(TCG) law,which can control the flight time of missiles to a prescribed time,is designed by using the virtual leader scheme and stability method.The TCG law is a combination of the well-known proportional navigation guidance(PNG) law and the feedback of flight time error.What's more,this law is free of singularities and hence yields better performances in comparison with optimal guidance laws with time constraints.Nonlinear simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed law.Zhao Shiyu Zhou Rui Wei Chen Ding Quanxin 2010Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2010,23,1:36

4Gastrointestinal symptoms: A comparison between patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis显示文摘AIM: To compare the prevalence and diversity of gastrointestinal(GI) symptoms in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis(PD) and hemodialysis(HD).METHODS: Two hundred and ninety-four end-stage renal disease patients participated in the study, including 182 HD and 112 PD patients. Dimension scores were calculated from a modified gastrointestinal symptom rating scale(GSRS) 18-item questionnaire, including items concerning eating dysfunction, and were used for measuring GI symptoms. Information on patient age, condition contributing to end-stage renal disease and the most recent dialysis adequacy assessment(serum Kt/V urea value) was obtained from the follow-up database and by interviewing patients and/or reviewing the medical records. Differences between the HD and PD groups were evaluated using Student's t, Pearson's χ2 or Fisher's exact tests.RESULTS: The overall prevalence of GI symptoms,defined by a GSRS > 1, in end-stage renal disease patients was 70.7%(208/294), which differed between HD and PD patients(76.4% vs 61.6%, P < 0.01). HD patients had a higher prevalence of constipation, abdominal pain and diarrhea compared to PD patients(36.3% vs 17.9%, 32.4% vs 5.4%, 17.6% vs 4.5%, respectively, P < 0.05). PD patients had a higher prevalence of reflux compared to HD patients(32.1% vs 24.2%, P < 0.05). Additionally, reflux and eating dysfunction were more severe in PD patients(GSRS: 1.71 ± 1.15 vs 1.30 ± 0.67, 1.57 ± 0.84 vs 1.39 ± 0.61, respectively, P < 0.05), whereas HD patients had greater abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation(GSRS: 1.22 ± 0.39 vs 1.04 ± 0.19, 1.19 ± 0.53 vs 1.07 ± 0.35, 1.51 ± 0.83 vs 1.23 ± 0.58, respectively, P < 0.05). 5Antipyretic and anti-inflammatory activities of Thais luteostoma extracts and underlying mechanisms显示文摘Thais luteostoma has been utilized as a crude drug whose shell and soft tissue have been widely used for the treatment of heat syndrome in China for thousands of years. The present study was designed to investigate the antipyretic and anti-inflammatory activities of T. luteostoma. T. luteostoma was divided into shell(TLSH) and soft tissue(TLST) samples in the present study. The rat model of yeast-induced fever was used to investigate their antipyretic effects; and the rat model of hind paw edema induced by carrageenan was utilized to study their anti-inflammatory activities, and at the same time, the concentration variations of the central neurotransmitter [prostaglandin E2(PGE2) and cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cA MP)], inflammatory mediators [tumor necrosis factor(TNFα), interleukin-1β(IL-1), interleukin-2(IL-2) and interleukin-6(IL-6)] and ion(Na+ and Ca2+) were also tested. The results showed that TLSH and TLST extracts significantly inhibited yeast-induced pyrexia in rats(P < 0.05), and exhibited more lasting effects as compared to aspirin, and TLSH had the better antipyretic activity than TLST, and that TLSH and TLST could significantly prevent against carrageenan induced paw edema in rats(P < 0.05); and markedly reduced levels of PGE2, cA MP, TNFα, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-6, and Na+/Ca2+. In fever model, TLST could significantly reduce the levels of PGE2(P < 0.01) in rats' homogenate and TNFα(P < 0.05), IL-1β(P < 0.01) in the plasma than TLSH, whereas TLSH could reduce the content of IL-2(P < 0.01) and IL-6(P < 0.01) in plasma and increase the content of Ca2+(P < 0.01) in plasma and homogenate more significantly than TLST. 8Role of gut microbiota via the gut-liver-brain axis in digestive diseases显示文摘The gut-brain axis is a bidirectional information interaction system between the central nervous system(CNS) and the gastrointestinal tract, in which gut microbiota plays a key role. The gut microbiota forms a complex network with the enteric nervous system, the autonomic nervous system, and the neuroendocrine and neuroimmunity of the CNS, which is called the microbiota-gut-brain axis. Due to the close anatomical and functional interaction of the gut-liver axis, the microbiota-gut-liver-brain axis has attracted increased attention in recent years. The microbiota-gut-liver-brain axis mediates the occurrence and development of many diseases, and it offers a direction for the research of disease treatment. 14The resurgent landscape of xenotransplantation of pig organs in nonhuman primates显示文摘Organ shortage is a major bottleneck in allotransplantation and causes many wait-listed patients to die or become too sick for transplantation.Genetically engineered pigs have been discussed as a potential alternative to allogeneic donor organs.Although xenotransplantation of pig-derived organs in nonhuman primates(NHPs)has shown sequential advances in recent years,there are still underlying problems that need to be completely addressed before clinical applications,including(i)acute humoral xenograft rejection;(ii)acute cellular rejection;(iii)dysregulation of coagulation and inflammation;(iv)physiological incompatibility;and(v)cross-species infection.Moreover,various genetic modifications to the pig donor need to be fully characterized,with the aim of identifying the ideal transgene combination for upcoming clinical trials.In addition,suitable pretransplant screening methods need to be confirmed for optimal donor-recipient matching,ensuring a good outcome from xenotransplantation.Herein,we summarize the understanding of organ xenotransplantation in pigs-to-NHPs and highlight the current status and recent progress in extending the survival time of pig xenografts and recipients.We also discuss practical strategies for overcoming the obstacles to xenotransplantation mentioned above to further advance transplantation of pig organs in the clinic.Xuan Zhang Quancheng Wang Jingjun Zhao Xiao Li Wei Peng Zhaoxu Yang Zhibin Lin Long Yang Rui Ding Kaishan Tao Kefeng Dou 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,5:10

16Enhancement of low-frequency sound absorption of microperforated panels by adding a mechanical impedance显示文摘In order to solve the bad low frequency sound absorption of the Micro-Perforated panel(MPP)absorber,mechanical impedance was introduced in the back of the MPP absorber to form a composite structure.According to the same particle vibration velocity on both sides of a plate,the mechanical impedance plate transfer matrix could be obtained.The units of the mechanical impedance,cavity and MPP were connected in series with the use of the transfer matrix method,thus creating the composite structure's theoretical calculation model.The quality factor affecting absorption bandwidth was analyzed.Bandwidth is inversely proportional to the mechanical impedance plate mass.During the experiments,when at close to 400 Hz,the composite structure reached an absorption peak with a coefficient of above 0.8.Experimental results concurred with theoretical calculations.Mechanical resonance is added based on the traditional MPP resonance sound absorption mechanism.Through this,the performance of low frequency sound absorption can be improved without increasing the thickness of the structure.The frequency band can be broadened by reducing the mechanical impedance plate mass and controlling its boundary-damping coefficient.ZHAO Xiaodan LI Xiao DING Rui 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,1:8
17A new green system of HPW@MOFs catalyzed desulfurization using O_2 as oxidant显示文摘A series of crystalline compounds were obtained from simple one-step hydrothermal reaction of copper nitrate, benzentricaboxylate and different Keggin polyoxometalates. Phosphotungstic acid immobilized in host matrix was selected for the first time as a recyclable and efficient catalyst in oxidative desulfurization process, under eco-sustainable conditions supported by the green oxidant O_2 and the green extracting agent distilled water. The efficiency of desulfurization with air was studied and it is possible to use air as green oxidant in desulfurization. 19VX-765 reduces neuroinflammation after spinal cord injury in mice显示文摘Inflammation is a major cause of neuronal injury after spinal cord injury. We hypothesized that inhibiting caspase-1 activation may reduce neuroinflammation after spinal cord injury, thus producing a protective effect in the injured spinal cord. A mouse model of T9 contusive spinal cord injury was established using an Infinite Horizon Impactor, and VX-765, a selective inhibitor of caspase-1, was administered for 7 successive days after spinal cord injury. The results showed that:(1) VX-765 inhibited spinal cord injury-induced caspase-1 activation and interleukin-1β and interleukin-18 secretion.(2) After spinal cord injury, an increase in M1 cells mainly came from local microglia rather than infiltrating macrophages.(3) Pro-inflammatory Th1 Th17 cells were predominant in the Th subsets. VX-765 suppressed total macrophage infiltration, M1 macrophages/microglia, Th1 and Th1 Th17 subset differentiation, and cytotoxic T cells activation;increased M2 microglia;and promoted Th2 and Treg differentiation.(4) VX-765 reduced the fibrotic area, promoted white matter myelination, alleviated motor neuron injury, and improved functional recovery. These findings suggest that VX-765 can reduce neuroinflammation and improve nerve function recovery after spinal cord injury by inhibiting caspase-1/interleukin-1β/interleukin-18. This may be a potential strategy for treating spinal cord injury. 20Reinforcement effect of fiber and deoiled asphalt on high viscosity rubber/SBS modified asphalt mortar显示文摘In this paper we investigate the reinforcement mechanism of high viscosity rubber/SBS modified asphalt mortar mixed with fiber(mineral, lignin or carbon fiber) and deoiled asphalt(DOA). The softening point, penetration and viscosity tests were conducted to characterize the engineering properties of asphalt-fiber mortar. The microstructure of fiber was observed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and the results indicated that fiber can effectively improve the toughness of asphalt matrix through forming a spatial network structure, and then adhesion and stabilization of asphalt binder. The cone penetration test was designed to study the rheological property of fiber modified asphalt. The results indicated that the reinforcement effect increased with fibers and DOA fraction increasing to a certain threshold, and the optimal fiber content was dependent on the fiber type and its length.
