| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 4 | Geometry-dependent springback behaviors of thin-walled tube upon cold bending显示文摘As one kind of key lightweight components with enormous quantities and diversities, the bent tubular parts have attracted in- creasing applications in aerospace, automobile, etc. Thus, how the inevitable springback behaves under different bending specifications should be fully addressed to efficiently achieve the precision forming of various bent tubes. Taking the medium strength thin-walled 6061-T4 Al-alloy tube as the objective, via the deformation theory of plasticity, explicit/implicit FE method and experimental approaches, we explored and clarified the nonlinear springback rules of the tubes and corresponding mechanisms in universal rotary draw bending regarding angular springback and radius growth by deliberately changing the tube diameter D and wall thickness t. The geometry dependent springback behaviors of thin-walled tube upon cold bending are thus revealed: 1) With the increasing of D, the tangent tensile strain increases and the proportional coefficient decreases, which causes the angular springback to decrease, while the radius springback increases due to the larger bending radius. 2) With the increasing of t, the tangent tensile strain decreases and the proportional coefficient increases, resulting in the increase of both angular springback and radius springback. 3) Under the same D/t, the angular springback varies little, while the radius springback increases with the larger diameter D. 4) The D/t can be used as a reasonable nondimensional index to evaluate the springback angle; as to the radius growth, the individual effects of the D and t should be considered. 5) The verification of the above results was conducted by experiments and analytical analysis. | LI Heng YANG He TIAN YuLi LI GuangJun WANG ZhengHua | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,12: | 10 |
| 5 | Effects of geometrical parameters on wrinkling of thin-walled rectangular aluminum alloy wave-guide tubes in rotary-draw bending显示文摘Inner flange and side wrinkling often occur in rotary-draw bending process of rectangular aluminum alloy wave-guide tubes, and the distribution and magnitude of wrinkling is related to geometrical parameters of the tubes. In order to study the effects of geometrical parameters on wrinkling of rectangular wave-guide tubes, a 3D-FE model for rotary-draw bending processes of thin-walled rectangular aluminum alloy wave-guide tubes was built based on the platform of ABA-QUS/Explicit, and its reliability was validated by experiments. Simulation and analysis of the influence laws of geometrical parameters on the wave heights of inner flange and side wrinkling were then carried out. The results show that inner flange wrinkling is the main wrinkling way to rectan- gular wave-guide tubes in rotary-draw bending processes, but side wrinkling cannot be neglected because side wrinkling is 2/3 of inner flange wrinkling when b and h are smaller. Inner flange and side wrinkling increase with increasing b and h; the influence of b on side wrinkling is larger than that of h, while both b and h affect inner flange wrinkling greatly. | 6 | Quercus yangyiensis sp. nov. from the Late Pliocene of Baoshan, Yunnan and Its Paleoclimatic Significance显示文摘A new Quercus(Fagaceae) morphospecies is described based on well-preserved fossil leaves. The fossils were collected from Yangyi Formation of the Upper Pliocene at the Yangyi coalmine, Baoshan, western Yunnan, China. Details of the microstructure of mesophyll tissue are preserved because lithification of the fossils was not complete. The fossil laminas possess typical characteristics of Quercus sect. Heterobalanus: quite thick and coriaceous cuticle; secondary veins bifurcating near the margin in the middle and top of the leaf; and upper epidermis with adaxial hypodermis. Based on a detailed morphological and anatomical comparison with all living and fossil species of Quercus sect. Heterobalanus, the fossil leaves prove to be different in their sparse and garland-shaped multicellular trichomes on the lower epidermis, and so it is described as a new species Quercus yangyiensis He, Li et Sun sp. nov. The much sparser trichomes of our fossils compare well with those of living Quercus sect. | 9 | Adaptive blind separation of underdetermined mixtures based on sparse component analysis显示文摘The independence priori is very often used in the conventional blind source sepa-ration (BSS). Naturally, independent component analysis (ICA) is also employed to perform BSS very often. However, ICA is difficult to use in some challenging cases, such as underdetermined BSS or blind separation of dependent sources. Recently, sparse component analysis (SCA) has attained much attention because it is theo- retically available for underdetermined BSS and even for blind dependent source separation sometimes. However, SCA has not been developed very sufficiently. Up to now, there are only few existing algorithms and they are also not perfect as well in practice. For example, although Lewicki-Sejnowski’s natural gradient for SCA is superior to K-mean clustering, it is just an approximation without rigorously theo- retical basis. To overcome these problems, a new natural gradient formula is pro- posed in this paper. This formula is derived directly from the cost function of SCA through matrix theory. Mathematically, it is more rigorous. In addition, a new and robust adaptive BSS algorithm is developed based on the new natural gradient. | 14 | Dynamic changes and convergence of China's regional green productivity:A dynamic spatial econometric analysis显示文摘Low-carbon economic development is at the heart of the post-pandemic green recovery scheme worldwide.It requires economic recovery without compromising on the environment,implying a critical role that green productivity plays in achieving the carbon neutrality goal.Green productivity measures the quality of economic growth with consideration for energy consumption and environmental pollution.This study employs the slacks-based measure directional distance function(SBM-DDF)approach and the Malmquist-Luenberger(ML)index to calculate green productivity and its components of 30 provinces in China between 2001 and 2018.Using a spatial panel data model,we empirically analyzed the conditionalβ-convergence of China's green productivity.We found that overall,since 2001,China's green productivity has demonstrated a continuous upward trend.When taking into account spatial factors,China's green productivity demonstrates a significant conditionalβ-convergence.In terms of regional effects,the results indicate that the green productivity of the eastern and western regions demonstrates club convergence,implying a more balanced green economic development.Moreover,the convergence rate of China's green productivity increases with the addition of environmental regulation variable,and so the corresponding convergence time decreases.It indicates that environmental regulations help to facilitate the convergence of China's green productivity,narrowing the gap between the regional green economic development.The findings provide guideline for achieving a low-carbon development and carbon neutrality from a regional green productivity perspective. | Xu-Quan ZHAI Rui XUE Bin HE Dong YANG Xiang-Yu PEI Xian LI Yuli SHAN | 2022 | Advances in Climate Change Research2022,13,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Biomolecular Preservation of Miocene Fossil Liquidambar from Tiantai,China and Clarkia,USA:Implications for Palaeoenvironmental Study显示文摘Biomolecular characteristics of fossil Liquidambar from the Miocene Shengxian Formation, Tiantai, Zhejiang province in eastern China and Miocene Clarkia sediment, Idaho, U.S.A., are obtained by means of Pyrolysis-Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry analysis(Py-GC-MS). Their modern equivalent(Liquidambar formosana) collected from Nanjing, eastern China, is also analyzed for comparison. The total ion chromatograms(TIC) of modern L. formosana leaves shows abundant pyrolysates of lignin, polysaccharide, aliphatic acid, and amino acid. However, only one polysaccharide molecule, i.e., levoglucosan, is retained in fossil Liquidambar leaves from the two Miocene sites with the Tiantai specimen possessing higher intensity. As expected, some lignin pyrolysates including benzene, phenol, guaiacol, vinylphenol and their derivatives, are detected in Miocene Tiantai L. miosinica. However, the lignin components with large molecular weight other than benzene and phenol compounds, are absent in Miocene Clarkia L. pachyphyllum. Abundant pristene and homologous series of n-alk-1-ene/n-alkane pairs with a long retention time are shown in pyrograms of both Tiantai and Clarkia fossils. Based upon our Py-GC-MS data, the molecular preservation in these Liquidambar leaf samples can be ranked as the following(from high to low quality respectively): modern sample >Tiantai sample >Clarkia sample. Vinyl phenol, an important compound, is present in modern and Tiantai Liquidambar leaves, while absent in Clarkia sample, implying that vinyl phenol may be sourced from lignin for Liquidambar leaves. Our data support the hypothesis of in situ polymerization for the origin of long-chain homologous series of n-alk-1-ene/nalkane pairs as leaf alteration products. | 20 | Plasmacytoid dendritic cells promote acute kidney injury by producing interferon-α显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a common clinical complication associated with high mortality in patients.Immune cells and cytokines have recently been described to play essential roles in AKI pathogenesis.Plasmacytoid dendritic cells(pDCs)are a unique DC subset that specializes in type Ⅰ interferon(IFN)production.Here,we showed that pDCs rapidly infiltrated the kidney in response to AKI and contributed to kidney damage by producing IFN-α.Deletion of pDCs using DTR^(BDCA2) transgenic(Tg)mice suppressed cisplatin-induced AKI,accompanied by marked reductions in proinflammatory cytokine production,immune cell infiltration and apoptosis in the kidney.In contrast,adoptive transfer of pDCs during AKI exacerbated kidney damage.We further identified IFN-α as the key factor that mediated the functions of pDCs during AKI,as IFN-α neutralization significantly attenuated kidney injury.Furthermore,IFN-α produced by pDCs directly induced the apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells(TECs)in vitro.In addition,our data demonstrated that apoptotic TECs induced the activation of pDCs,which was inhibited in the presence of an apoptosis inhibitor.Furthermore,similar deleterious effects of pDCs were observed in an ischemia reperfusion(IR)-induced AKI model.Clinically,increased expression of IFN-α in kidney biopsies was observed in kidney transplants with AKI.Taken together,the results of our study reveal that pDCs play a detrimental role in AKI via IFN-α. | Bo Deng Yuli Lin Yusheng Chen Shuai Ma Qian Cai Wenji Wang Bingji Li Tingyan Liu Peihui Zhou Rui He Feng Ding | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,1: | 1 |
