| 2 | Soft,stretchable,wireless intelligent three-lead electrocardiograph monitors with feedback functions for warning of potential heart attack显示文摘Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs)are fatal chronic diseases,where electrocardiography(ECG)monitoring could be a prominent solution for early diagnosis.In spite of available commercialized,multilead ECG devices,bulky formats,discontinuous monitoring,and no safety alarm system significantly limit their practical applications.Herein,we present a soft,and stretchable,three-lead ECG device allowing continuous monitoring and wireless transmission of ECG signals.A newly developed organohydrogel patch with a strong adhesive ability(~9.9 kPa)and higher conductivity(~6.5 kΩ)is applied for high-quality ECG signals collection.With a long operation duration(6.5 h)and wireless transmission distance(20.9 m),it could fulfill most of the daily applications.Machine learning algorithms and the graphical user interface are used for real-time ECG monitoring and cardiac abnormalities diagnosis.The vibratory flexible actuator,which is triggered by cardiac abnormalities that need immediate medical treatment,is also integrated as a warning system for the user.As a newly reported stretchable multi-lead ECG device for long-term ECG signal monitoring,there is a high potential for improving users'life quality with the high-risk population of CVDs. | Chunki Yiu Yiming Liu Chao Zhang Jingkun Zhou Huiling Jia Tsz H.Wong Xingcan Huang Jian Li Kuanming Yao Ming K.Yau Ling Zhao Hu Li Binbin Zhang Wooyoung Park Yuanting Zhang Zuankai Wang Xinge Yu | 2022 | SmartMat2022,3,4: | 1 |
| 3 | Face-centered cubic structured RuCu hollow urchin-like nanospheres enable remarkable hydrogen evolution catalysis显示文摘Ruthenium(Ru)is one of the most promising metals for its versatility in driving a wide range of catalytic reactions.However,owing to the intrinsic preference of hexagonal close-packed(hcp)phase for bulk Ru,currently,it is still challenging to construct Ru-based nanomaterials with face-centered-cubic(fcc)phase for optimizing their performance towards potential applications.Herein,we report a facile wet-chemical method to directly create unconventional fcc-structured Ru-copper hollow urchin-like nanospheres(fcc-RuCu HUNSs)as a class of efficient pH-universal hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalyst.Interestingly,this synthetic strategy can be expanded to prepare other fcc-Ru-based alloy nanomaterials.Significantly,the novel fcc-RuCu HUNSs exhibit superior HER performance with the overpotential of only 25,34,40,and 26 m V to reach the current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4),0.05 M H_(2)SO_(4),0.1 M KOH,and 1 M KOH,respectively,much lower than those of hcpRuCu HUNSs and commercial Pt/C.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations further indicate that their excellent pH-universal HER performance results from the optimized adsorption free energy of H and work functions.Our work highlights the importance of phase control to design high-efficiency nanocatalysts for relevant catalytic reactions in energy conversion. | Juntao Zhang Jiabo Le Yuanting Dong Lingzheng Bu Ying Zhang Jun Cheng Leigang Li Xiaoqing Huang | 2022 | Science China Chemistry2022,65,1: | 1 |
| 4 | Time-varying clustering for local lighting and material design显示文摘This paper presents an interactive graphics processing unit (GPU)-based relighting system in which local lighting condition, surface materials and viewing direction can all be changed on the ffy. To sup- port these changes, we simulate the lighting transportation process at run time, which is normally impractical for interactive use due to its huge computational burden. We greatly alleviate this burden by a hierarchical structure named a transportation tree that clusters similar emitting samples together within a perceptually acceptable error bound. Furthermore, by exploiting the coherence in time as well as in space, we incrementally adjust the clusters rather than computing them from scratch in each frame. With a pre-computed visibility map, we are able to efficiently estimate the indirect illumination in parallel on graphics hardware, by simply summing up the radiance shoots from cluster representa- tives, plus a small number of operations of merging and splitting on clusters. | 8 | Induction of multiple subroutines of regulated necrosis in murine macrophages by natural BH3-mimetic gossypol显示文摘Macrophages are critical sentinel cells armed with multiple regulated necrosis pathways,including pyroptosis,apoptosis followed by secondary necrosis,and necroptosis,and are poised to undergo distinct form(s)of necrosis for tackling dangers of pathogenic infection or toxic exposure.The natural BH3-mimetic gossypol is a toxic phytochemical that can induce apoptosis and/or pyroptotic-like cell death,but what exact forms of regulated necrosis are induced remains largely unknown.Here we demonstrated that gossypol induces pyroptotic-like cell death in both unprimed and lipopolysaccharide-primed mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs),as evidenced by membrane swelling and ballooning accompanied by propidium iodide incorporation and lactic acid dehydrogenase release.Notably,gossypol simultaneously induces the activation of both pyroptotic and apoptotic(followed by secondary necrosis)pathways but only weakly activates the necroptosis pathway.Unexpectedly,gossypol-induced necrosis is independent of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome,as neither inhibitor for the NLRP3 pathway nor NLRP3 deficiency protects the macrophages from the necrosis.Furthermore,necrotic inhibitors or even pan-caspase inhibitor alone does not or only partly inhibit such necrosis.Instead,a combination of inhibitors composed of pan-caspase inhibitor IDN-6556,RIPK3 inhibitor GSK′872 and NADPH oxidase inhibitor GKT137831 not only markedly inhibits the necrosis,with all apoptotic and pyroptotic pathways being blocked,but also attenuates gossypol-induced peritonitis in mice.Lastly,the activation of the NLRP3 pathway and apoptotic caspase-3 appears to be independent of each other.Collectively,gossypol simultaneously induces the activation of multiple subroutines of regulated necrosis in macrophages depending on both apoptotic and inflammatory caspases. | Meiyan Zhong Yuanting Huang Bo Zeng Lihui Xu Chunsu Zhong Jiahao Qiu Xunjia Ye Mingye Chen Bo Hu Dongyun Ouyang Xianhui He | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1: | 0 |
