1Coupling of Hierarchical Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) Nanofibers into 3D Photothermal Aerogels Toward Simultaneous Water Evaporation and Purification显示文摘Serious freshwater shortage and environmental pollution boost the rapid development of solar-driven water production.Although improved evaporation rate has achieved in recent years,undesirable impurity(e.g.,pollutant components)can also be inevitably evaporated and collected as impurity in produced freshwater.This work reports new ultra-light three-dimensional(3D)aerogels assembled by hierarchical Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) nanofibers and reduced graphene oxide(RGO)for excit-ing synchronized solar-driven evaporation and water purification.Hydrophilic Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) fibrous channels linked up the graphene hot-spots and water body for sufficient water supply and bulk water insulation.Meanwhile,featured with thermal insulation effect,the Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) nanofibers effectively locked the converted heat with less energy loss from sunlight.The introducing of Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) nanofibers into RGO aerogel led to the effective interfacial evaporation for a more rapid water evaporation rate(2.19 kg·m−2·h−1,normalized to evaporation area including both top and side surface),which was 36%higher than that of pristine RGO aerogel.Moreover,simultaneous with the strong steam generation,Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) nanofibers in situ removed the pollutants within steam by photodegradation,achieving polluted wastewater purification with high con-taminant removal ratio of 91.3%.Our work on coupling Al_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2) nanofibers into photothermal aerogel provides attractive solutions for the challenges of clean water scarcity and serious environmental pollution.Xiangyu Meng Wanlin Xu Zhihui Li Jianhui Yang Jingwu Zhao Xixi Zou Yueming Sun Yunqian Dai 2020Advanced Fiber Materials2020,2,2:4
2Characteristics of coal sludge slurry prepared by a wet-grinding process显示文摘Coal sludge slurry(CSS) is an alternative fuel and a potential competitive method for sludge reduction.Based on the researches of coal water slurry, we studied CSSs by using a wet-grinding process with different types of regional municipal sludge(sludge) in an orthogonal experiment. The sludge type,sludge mixing proportion, dosage of dispersant, and grinding time were tested in this study. The results show that water content and its occurrence characteristics in the sludge have primary hindering influences on slurry ability. The range of fixed-viscosity concentrations with raw wet sludge is from 50.78%to 44.40%(by weight), while the range is from 53.35% to 51.51%(by weight) with dry sludge. All of the CSSs exhibit shear-thinning behaviors with different variation trends, especially the CSSs with more than 15%(by weight) raw wet sludge in it. Adding the same proportion of raw wet sludge increases the thixotropic properties of CSSs and the highest area of thixotropy loop is 3065 Pa/s, while the highest value of dry sludge is 1798 Pa/s. 4Mapping China’s offshore mariculture based on dense time-series optical and radar data显示文摘Due to the weak information about cultural targets in the complex marine environment,an omission problem exists in large-scale mariculture extraction using single-view and single-source images.To overcome this problem,we developed a mariculture extraction method that combines dense time-series Sentinel-2 and Sentinel-1 data.A high-precision Chinese mariculture distribution map for 2020 was produced with an overall accuracy of 94.00%and a kappa coefficient of 0.91.The results show that(1)the total area of mariculture was 1173249.22 ha on the national scale,which was significantly larger than the previous studies(459595.70 and 205920.28 ha,respectively),with Shandong Province(39.09%)having the largest proportion;(2)China’s mariculture presented a spatial distribution characteristic of‘Denser North and Sparser South’,and mariculture was centralized in the coastal zones of the northern provinces(60.76%)rather than the southern provinces;(3)the official production statistics and remote sensing-derived mariculture area revealed a highly corresponding trend at the provincial level,with an R2 reaching 0.78,which is much higher than the 0.07 and 0.41 values of the comparison data.The results directly provide data reference for mariculture production estimation and site selection or ideas for mariculture extraction in other regions and globally.Xiaoliang Liu Zhihua Wang Xiaomei Yang Yueming Liu Bin Liu Junyao Zhang Ku Gao Dan Meng Yaxin Ding 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:1

6Aligning Fe_(2)O_(3)photo-sheets on TiO_(2)nanofibers with hydrophilic and aerophobic surface for boosting photoelectrochemical performance显示文摘Photoelectrochemical(PEC)nanomaterials are critical to producing clean oxygenation or value-added chemical production by utilizing sustainable solar energy,but are always limited by simultaneous integration of architectural engineering and electronic regulation in one structure.Directed by density functional theory(DFT)calculations and finite element analysis(FEA),the bioinspired ivy-like Fe_(2)O_(3)heterostructures with enriched oxygen defects on TiO_(2)nanofibers are designed for boosting PEC performances.Ivy-like Fe_(2)O_(3)photo-sheets remarkably enhanced the light harvesting by multiple light-mater interactions.The oxygen vacancies on Fe_(2)O_(3)photo-sheets could aid the photons catching and promote the reactivity at active sites.More importantly,demonstrated by a well-designed dynamic observation,the abundant tip-edges within ivy-like Fe_(2)O_(3)photo-sheets enabled the surface of heterostructure with hydrophilic and aerophobic properties.The functionalized surface allowed the rapid desorption of produced bubbles and thus ensured a high density of unoccupied active sites for electrolyte accessing.Featured by these attributes,the Fe_(2)O_(3)@TiO_(2)nanofibers delivered an excellent photocurrent of 40.8 mA/mg,high donor density(1.2×10^(18)cm^(−3)),and rapid oxygen production rate(1 mmol/(L∙h)).This work demonstrates a new strategy on nano-structural design for enhancing light-harvesting and making a hydrophilic/aerophobic surface on low-dimensional oxide nanomaterial,holding great potential on designing high-performance PEC devices for producing survival source gas,carbon-neutral fuel,and valuedchemicals.Xiangyu Meng Qi Zhan Yanan Wu Mengmeng Zhu Ken Liu Na Wang Kuibo Yin Yueming Sun Shuai Dong Yunqian Dai 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0

8Molecular core–shell structure design:Facilitating delayed fluorescence in aggregates toward highly efficient solution-processed OLEDs显示文摘Light has been sought and explored by human since ancient times.As the most important form of light,fluorescence is significant to applications in bioimaging and optoelectronic devices.However,fluorescence quenching problem constitutes a serious bottleneck in materials creation.Inspired from the core–shell structure in nature,we report an effective strategy to overcome this long-standing problem by utilizing a molecular core–shell structure.With an emissive core and multifunctional shell fragments,these compounds show aggregation-induced delayed fluorescence(AIDF)properties by restricting singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))generation and suppressing the triplet–triplet annihilation(TTA).Protected by the functional shell,the aggregation-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens)exhibit strong emission with high photoluminescent quantum yield and exciton utilization.Furthermore,because the shell materials can form exciplex with electron-transport materials,the fully solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)based on these core–shell materials show low turnon voltages,excellent device performance with current efficiency of 61.4 cd A–1 and power efficiency of 42.8 lm W–1,which is a record-breaking efficiency based on all-solution processed organic multilayer systems among the AIE-OLEDs so far.This simple visualization strategy based on molecular core–shell structure provides a promising platform for AIEgens used in the fully wet-processed optoelectronic field.Dan Liu Meng Zhang Wenwen Tian Wei Jiang Yueming Sun Zheng Zhao Ben Zhong Tang 2022Aggregate2022,3,2:0
9Epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury in China:a hospital-based retrospective study显示文摘Traumatic spinal cord injury is potentially catastrophic and can lead to permanent disability or even death.China has the largest population of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury.Previous studies of traumatic spinal cord injury in China have mostly been regional in scope;national-level studies have been rare.To the best of our knowledge,no national-level study of treatment status and economic burden has been performed.This retrospective study aimed to examine the epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury in China at the national level.We included 13,465 traumatic spinal cord injury patients who were injured between January 2013 and December 2018 and treated in 30 hospitals in 11 provinces/municipalities representing all geographical divisions of China.Patient epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and total and daily costs were recorded.Trends in the percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department and cost of care were assessed by annual percentage change using the Joinpoint Regression Program.The percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department did not significantly change overall(annual percentage change,-0.5%and 2.1%,respectively).A total of 10,053(74.7%)patients underwent surgery.Only 2.8%of patients who underwent surgery did so within 24 hours of injury.A total of 2005(14.9%)patients were treated with high-dose(≥500 mg)methylprednisolone sodium succinate/methylprednisolone(MPSS/MP);615(4.6%)received it within 8 hours.The total cost for acute traumatic spinal cord injury decreased over the study period(-4.7%),while daily cost did not significantly change(1.0%increase).Our findings indicate that public health initiatives should aim at improving hospitals’ability to complete early surgery within 24 hours,which is associated with improved sensorimotor recovery,increasing the awareness rate of clinical guidelines related to high-dose MPSS/MP to reduce the use of the treatment with insufficient evidence.Hengxing Zhou Yongfu Lou Lingxiao Chen Yi Kang Lu Liu Zhiwei Cai David BAnderson Wei Wang Chi Zhang Jinghua Wang Guangzhi Ning Yanzheng Gao Baorong He Wenyuan Ding Yisheng Wang Wei Mei Yueming Song Yue Zhou Maosheng Xia Huan Wang Jie Zhao Guoyong Yin Tao Zhang Feng Jing Rusen Zhu Bin Meng Li Duan Zhongmin Zhang Desheng Wu Zhengdong Cai Lin Huang Zhanhai Yin Kainan Li Shibao Lu Shiqing Feng 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,5:0
