| 1 | Arabidopsis F-box gene FOA1 involved in ABA signaling显示文摘The expression of FOA1(F-box overexpressed/oppressed ABA signaling) in different organs of Arabidopsis,and in response to ABA and NaCl,was analyzed.The expression level of FOA1 is higher in the root and is lower in the stem,and is induced rapidly by ABA and NaCl.The phenotypes of T-DNA insertion mutant foa1 and FOA1 overexpression lines FOA1ox1 and FOA1ox2 were analyzed.The foa1 mutant exhibited a lower germination rate,shorter root length,more stomatal opening,increased proline accumulation and hypersensitivity to ABA compared with the wild type.In contrast,the overexpression lines showed lower sensitivity to ABA than the wild type.The expression levels of several ABA and stress-responsive transcription factors and genes were altered in the foa1 mutant in response to ABA.Compared with the wild type,the expression levels of ABA-responsive transcription factors were higher,but ABA and stress-responsive genes were lower in foa1 mutant.This study demonstrates that FOA1 is an ABA signaling-related gene,and may play a negative role in ABA signaling. | PENG Juan YU DaShi WANG LiQun XIE MinMin YUAN CongYing WANG Yu TANG DongYing ZHAO XiaoYing LIU XuanMing | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6: | 12 |

| 4 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. | 5 | Analysis of Aroma Volatile Compounds in Fuji Apple Using SPME with Different Fiber Coatings显示文摘The aroma volatile compounds in Fuji apple were isolated by solid-phase microextraction( SPME),and detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry( GC-MS). The results showed that the optimal retention time of the heating up of capillary columns was 5 min. Of the seven fibers used in this work,DVB/CAR/PDMS was found to be the most suitable to extract the aroma volatile compounds in Fuji apple. A total number of 43 volatile compounds were identified according to their retention time on capillary columns and their mass spectra,including eleven esters,ten alcohols,ten aldehydes,seven alkenes,two anhydrides,one ketone,one phenol and one ether. | 6 | Microencapsulation of stearic acid with polymethylmethacrylate using iron(Ⅲ) chloride as photo-initiator for thermal energy storage显示文摘Aiming to identify the validity of fabricating microencapsulated phase change material(PCM) with polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA) by ultraviolet curing emulsion polymerization method using iron(III) chloride as photoinitiator,SA/PMMA microcapsules were prepared and various techniques were employed to determine the ignition mechanism,structural characteristics and thermal properties of the composite.The results shown that the microcapsules containing SA with maximum percentage of 52.20 wt% formed by radical mechanism and only physical interactions existed in the components both in the prepared process and subsequent use.The phase change temperatures and latent heats of the microencapsulated SA were measured as 55.3 °C and 102.1 J·g^(-1) for melting,and 48.8 °C and 102.8 J·g^(-1) for freezing,respectively.Thermal gravimetric analysis revealed that SA/PMMA has good thermal durability in working temperature range.The results of accelerated thermal cycling test are all shown that the SA/PMMA have excellent thermal reliability and chemical stability although they were subjected 1000 melting/freezing cycles.In summary,the comparable thermal storage ability and good thermal reliability facilitated SA/PMMA to be considered as a viable candidate for thermal energy storage.The successful fabrication of SA/PMMA capsules indicates that ferric chloride is a prominent candidate for synthesizing PMMA containing PCM composite. | Ting Zhang Minmin Chen Yu Zhang Yi Wang | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,10: | 3 |

| 14 | NO hydrogenation to NH3 over FeCu/TiO_(2) catalyst with improved activity显示文摘Ammonia is crucial in industry and agriculture, but its production is hindered by environmental concerns and energy-intensive processes. Hence, developing an efficient and environmentally friendly catalyst is imperative. In this study, we employed a straightforward and efficient impregnation technique to create various Cu-doped catalysts. Notably, the optimized 10Fe-8Cu/TiO_(2) catalyst exhibited exceptional catalytic performance in converting NO to NH3, achieving an NO conversion rate exceeding 80% and an NH3 selectivity exceeding 98% at atmospheric pressure and 350 °C. We employed in situ diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and conducted density functional theory calculations to investigate the intermediates and subsequent adsorption. Our findings unequivocally demonstrate that Cu doping enhances the rate-limiting hydrogenation step and lowers the energy barrier for NH3 desorption, thereby resulting in improved NO conversion and enhanced selectivity toward ammonia. | 16 | Robust photo-assisted removal of NO at room temperature:Experimental and density functional theory calculation with optical carrier显示文摘Photo-assisted SCR(PSCR) offers a potential solution for removal of NO at room temperature. MnTiO_(x)as PSCR catalyst exhibits superior performance with NO removal of 100% at the room temperature. Electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR) analysis revealed the presence of numerous oxygen vacancies on MnTiO_(x). Optical carrier density functional theory(DFT) calculations showed that the threedimensional orbital hybridization of Mn and Ti is significantly enhanced under light irradiation. The MnTiO_(x)catalyst exhibited excellent electron–hole separation ability, which can adsorbe NH_(3)and dissociate to form NH_(2)fragments and H atoms. In-situ diffuse reflectance infrared fourier-transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS) indicated that the optical carrier enhanced NH_(3)adsorption on MnTiO_(x), which makes it possess excellent PSCR activity.
