| 1 | Exosome-functionalized polyetheretherketone-based implant with immunomodulatory property for enhancing osseointegration显示文摘The host immune response effecting on biomaterials is critical to determine implant fates and bone regeneration property.Bone marrow stem cells(BMSCs)derived exosomes(Exos)contain multiple biosignal molecules and have been demonstrated to exhibit immunomodulatory functions.Herein,we develop a BMSC-derived Exos-functionalized implant to accelerate bone integration by immunoregulation.BMSC-derived Exos were reversibly incorporated on tannic acid(TA)modified sulfonated polyetheretherketone(SPEEK)via the strong interaction of TA with biomacromolecules.The slowly released Exos from SPEEK can be phagocytosed by co-cultured cells,which could efficiently improve the biocompatibilities of SPEEK.In vitro results showed the Exos loaded SPEEK promoted macrophage M2 polarization via the NF-κB pathway to enhance BMSCs osteogenic differentiation.Further in vivo rat air-pouch model and rat femoral drilling model assessment of Exos loaded SPEEK revealed efficient macrophage M2 polarization,desirable new bone formation,and satisfactory osseointegration.Thus,BMSC-derived Exos-functionalized implant exerted osteoimmunomodulation effect to promote osteogenesis. | Lei Fan Pengfei Guan Cairong Xiao Huiquan Wen Qiyou Wang Can Liu Yian Luo Limin Ma Guoxin Tan Peng Yu Lei Zhou Chengyun Ning | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021，6，9： | 11 |

Laparoscopic-assisted greater omentumpreserving D2 radical gastrectomy was performed in combination with Billroth I reconstruction under general anesthesia for the distal gastric cancer on April 5, 2013. The postoperative recovery was satisfying without complications. | 4 | Efficacy analysis of Cheng's GIRAFFE reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy for adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction显示文摘Objective:Reconstruction of the digestive tract for adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction(AEG)is in dispute.This study evaluated Cheng’s gastric tube interposition esophagogastrostomy with reconstruction of His angle and fundus(Cheng’s GIRAFFE anastomosis)in laparoscopic/open proximal gastrectomy for Siewert typeⅡAEG,which was performed at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.Here,we discuss the preliminary results of gastric emptying and anti-reflux.Methods:From a retrospective database,74 patients with advanced Siewert typeⅡAEG underwent curative proximal gastrectomy with GIRAFFE anastomosis,and their gastric emptying and anti-reflux outcomes were evaluated by the Reflux Disease Questionnaire(RDQ)score,nuclide gastric emptying,24-h impedance-pH monitoring and gastroscopy.Results:Seventy-four patients successfully completed proximal partial gastrectomy with Cheng’s GIRAFFE esophagogastric anastomosis.RDQ score six months after the operation was 2.2±2.5.Results of nuclide gastric emptying examinations showed that the gastric half-emptying time was 67.0±21.5 min,the 1-h residual rate was(52.2±7.7)%,the 2-h residual rate was(36.4±5.1)%,and the 3-h residual rate was(28.8±3.6)%;24-h impedance-p H monitoring revealed that the mean De Meester score was 5.8±2.9.Reflux esophagitis was observed by gastroscopy in 7 patients six months after surgery.Conclusions:Cheng’s GIRAFFE anastomosis is safe and feasible for Siewert typeⅡAEG. | Zhiyuan Xu Can Hu Yanqiang Zhang Ling Huang Litao Yang Jianfa Yu Pengfei Yu Jiahui Chen Yian Du Xiangdong Cheng | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022，34，3： | 3 |
| 5 | Influence of Coastal Marine Boundary Layer Jets on Rainfall in South China显示文摘Coastal marine boundary layer jets(CMBLJs)play an important role in coastal and inland rainfall in South China.Using 21 years of ERA5 and CMORPH rainfall data,two main CMBLJs are found,one on each side of Hainan Island(named BLJ-WEST and BLJ-EAST),which are always strengthened jointly.Both CMBLJs often occur in the pre-summer rainy season and exhibit an evident diurnal cycle with a maximum at night.With the emergence of the CMBLJs,rainfall is significantly enhanced in South China,particularly downstream of each CMBLJ.The response of rainfall to the CMBLJs is mainly attributed to convergence at the terminus of each CMBLJ,terrain-induced lifting,and relevant atmospheric stratification.Coastal rainfall downstream of the BLJ-WEST is much weaker than that downstream of the BLJ-EAST because of higher CIN over the Beibu Gulf,which is caused by lower temperature lapse rates and adiabatic heating in the lee of the Annamite Range.The inland rainfall increases along with CMBLJ intensity,whereas coastal rainfall reaches a maximum in the presence of moderate CMBLJs rather than stronger CMBLJs.Stronger CMBLJs induce stronger dynamic lifting but higher CIN near the coastal area.Additionally,CAPE near the coast does not become highest with strongest CMBLJs,because the CAPE generation contributed by coastal dynamic lifting can be offset by the negative contribution caused by the horizontal advection of cold and dry air from the Indochina Peninsula.Therefore,anomalous dynamic lifting,moisture flux convergence,and CAPE/CIN associated with CMBLJ intensity jointly result in anomalous rainfall. | Yu DU Yian SHEN Guixing CHEN | 2022 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2022，39，5： | 2 |

| 8 | A shape-persistent plasticine-like conductive hydrogel with self-healing properties for peripheral nerve regeneration显示文摘In recent years,electrically conductive hydrogel-based nerve guidance conduits(NGCs)have yielded promising results for treating peripheral nerve injuries(PNIs).However,developed ones are generally pre-manufactured and exhibit a limited ability to achieve good contact with nerve tissue with irregu-lar surfaces.Herein,we developed a plasticine-like electrically conductive hydrogel consisting of gelatin,conducting polypyrrole,and tannic acid(named GPT)and assessed its ability to promote peripheral nerve regeneration.The shape-persistent GPT hydrogel exhibited good self-healing properties and could easily be molded to form a conduit that could match any injured nerve tissue.Their electrical properties could be tuned by changing the PPy concentration.In vitro,the improved conductivity of the hydrogel pro-moted dorsal root ganglion(DRG)axonal extension.More importantly,we found that the GPT hydrogel enhanced axonal regeneration and remyelination in vivo,preventing denervation atrophy and enhancing functional recovery in a mice model of sciatic nerve injury.These results suggest that our plasticine-like NGC has huge prospects for clinical application in the repair of PNI. | Xinchang Kang Xiaojun Li Can Liu Min Cai Pengfei Guan Yian Luo Youjun Guan Yu Tian Kunyu Ren Chengyun Ning Lei Fan Guoxin Tan Lei Zhou | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023，，11： | 0 |
| 9 | Neuro-11:a new questionnaire for the assessment of somatic symptom disorder in general hospitals显示文摘Background Somatic symptom disorder(SSD)commonly presents in general hospital settings,posing challenges for healthcare professionals lacking specialised psychiatric training.The Neuro-11 Neurosis Scale(Neuro-11)offers promise in screening and evaluating psychosomatic symptoms,comprising 11 concise items across three dimensions:somatic symptoms,negative emotions and adverse events.Prior research has validated the scale’s reliability,validity and theoretical framework in somatoform disorders,indicating its potential as a valuable tool for SSD screening in general hospitals.Aims This study aimed to establish the reliability,validity and threshold of the Neuro-11 by comparing it with standard questionnaires commonly used in general hospitals for assessing SSD.Through this comparative analysis,we aimed to validate the effectiveness and precision of the Neuro-11,enhancing its utility in clinical settings.Methods Between November 2020 and December 2021,data were collected from 731 patients receiving outpatient and inpatient care at Shenzhen People’s Hospital in China for various physical discomforts.The patients completed multiple questionnaires,including the Neuro-11,Short Form 36 Health Survey,Patient Health Questionnaire 15 items,Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale.Psychiatry-trained clinicians conducted structured interviews and clinical examinations to establish a gold standard diagnosis of SSD.Results The Neuro-11 demonstrated strong content reliability and structural consistency,correlating significantly with internationally recognised and widely used questionnaires.Despite its brevity,the Neuro-11 exhibited significant correlations with other questionnaires.A test-retest analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 1.00,Spearman-Brown coefficient of 0.64 and Cronbach’sαcoefficient of 0.72,indicating robust content reliability and internal consistency.Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the validity of the three-dimensional structure(p<0.001,comparative fit index=0.94,Tucker-Lewis index=0.92,root mean square error of approximation=0.06,standardised root mean square residual=0.04).The threshold of the Neuro-11 is set at 10 points based on the maximum Youden’s index from the receiver operating characteristic curve analysis.In terms of diagnostic efficacy,the Neuro-11 has an area under the curve of 0.67. | Silin Zeng Yian Yu Shan Lu Sirui Zhang Xiaolin Su Ge Dang Ying Liu Zhili Cai Siyan Chen Yitao He Xin Jiang Chanjuan Chen Lei Yuan Peng Xie Jianqing Shi Qingshan Geng Rafael H Llinas Yi Guo | 2023 | General Psychiatry2023，36，4： | 0 |
