1MXR7 facilitates liver cancer metastasis via epithelial-mesenchymal transition显示文摘MXR7 is a cell-surface protein and highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). The aim of this study is to determine the expression profile of MXR7 in HCC and investigate the influence of MXR7 on invasion and metastasis of HCC cells. For this purpose, immunohistochemical assay was used to identify the differential expression of MXR7 in 94 HCC specimens. Expression of MXR7 in 4 pairs of HCC and portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT) was also tested. The motility of HCC cells were characterized by transwell migration and matrigel invasion assays. In vivo metastasis potential was determined via tail vein injection assay.Moreover, compared with noninvasive HCC tumors or human HCC cell lines with low metastatic potential, invasive HCC samples and HCC cell lines with high metastatic potential exhibited higher MXR7 expression. Furthermore, forced expression of MXR7 in SMMC-7721 promoted cell proliferation, migration and invasion in vitro and accelerated tumor growth and metastasis in vivo. Conversely, knockdown of MXR7 expression in HuH7 cells inhibited proliferation and motility of cells. Mechanically,overexpression of MXR7 promoted epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) progress, and MXR7 depletion repressed the EMT phenotype. 4Characterization of Mechanical Properties of Waste Slurry Modified by Recycled Sand and Cement显示文摘In order to study the modification effect of recycled sand on cement reinforced waste slurry(CWS),triaxial test,scanning electron microscope test and X-ray diffraction test were carried out.The mechanical test of recycled sand and cement reinforced waste slurry(RCWS)shows that the deviatoric stress–strain curve of RCWS samples changes from hardening type to softening type with the increase of recycled sand content;the peak stress increases with the increase of recycled sand content;recycled sand can enhance the shear strength of CWS by increasing both cohesion and internal friction angle.The microscopic test shows that recycled sand can improve the structural compactness by cementing with hydrated calcium silicate and can reduce the void ratio and orientation index of RCWS samples.Finally,the mathematical model between shear strength parameters and void ratio is established.The research shows that adding an appropriate amount of recycled sand and cement has a good modification effect on waste slurry.This is an effective method to treat two kinds of construction wastes:construction waste slurry and waste concrete.Beifeng Lv Na Li Haibo Kang Yanting Wu Ben Li Wei Wang 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,10:0

7In-house or Outsourcing R&D?Manufacturer Technology Strategy in the Presence of Market Follower Encroachment显示文摘Facing the threat of market follower encroachment,this paper constructs game theoretical models based on different channel structures and market structures,investigates following manufacturer's encroachment strategy and technology strategies,and discusses the impact of following manufacturer's strategy on quality decisions.The results show that encroachment always improves consumer surplus by slashing prices when leading manufacturer adopts in-house R&D(IRD);otherwise,it results in lower consumer surplus with mild competition if leading manufacturer is at a technological disadvantage.Furthermore,the technology strategies of following manufacturer are related to their R&D capabilities.The superior one is outsourcing R&D(ORD)for the manufacturers when their R&D capability is weak,otherwise,IRD is optimal.In a word,the leading manufacturer always prefers IRD under certain conditions,while the following manufacturer always prefers ORD.In addition,encroachment restrains quality innovative motivation under fixed or quality-sensitive R&D costs,but can improve quality level when consumers have a higher reference dependency for quality;meanwhile,the following manufacturer adopting ORD is always beneficial to quality improvement.Chunyu Li Cuihua Zhang Yanting Li Ruxia Lv 2022Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2022,31,1:0
