1A new gain-of-function OsGS2/GRF4 allele generated by CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing increases rice grain size and yield显示文摘Grain size is one of the most important factors affecting rice grain quality and yield,and attracts great attention from molecular biologists and breeders.In this study,we engineered a CRISPR/Cas9 system targeting the miR396 recognition site of the rice GS2 gene,which encodes growth-regulating factor 4(OsGRF4)and regulates multiple agronomic traits including grain size,grain quality,nitrogen use efficiency,abiotic stress response,and seed shattering.In contrast to most previous genome editing efforts in which indel mutations were chosen to obtain null mutants,a mutant named GS2^(E) carrying an in-frame 6-bp deletion and 1-bp substitution within the miR396-targeted sequence was identified.GS2^(E) plants showed increased expression of GS2 in consistent with impaired repression by miR396.As expected,the gain-of-function GS2^(E) mutant exhibited multiple beneficial traits including increased grain size and yield and bigger grain length/width ratio.Thousand grain weight and grain yield per plant of GS2^(E) plants were increased by 23.5%and 10.4%,respectively.These improved traits were passed to hybrids in a semidominant way,suggesting that the new GS2^(E) allele has great potential in rice improvement.Taken together,we report new GS2 germplasm and describe a novel gene-editing strategy that can be widely employed to improve grain size and yield in rice.This trait-improvement strategy could be applied to other genes containing miRNA target sites,in particular the conserved miR396-GRF/GIF module that governs plant growth,development and environmental response.Wenshu Wang Weipeng Wang Yanlin Pan Chao Tan Hongjing Li Ya Chen Xingdan Liu Jing Wei Nian Xu Yu Han Han Gu Rongjian Ye Qi Ding Chonglie Ma 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,4:3
2Droplet Manipulation and Crystallization Regulation in Inkjet-Printed Perovskite Film Formation显示文摘Emerging organic–inorganic metal halide perovskite materials have become the focus of the optoelectronics research community owing to their excellent photoelectric properties.Nevertheless,challenges still exist for transferring the lab-made devices to largearea industrial modules.Inkjet printing(IJP)technology provides a promising way to fill the gap because of its precise droplet control and uniform large-scale deposition functions.Hence,an in-depth understanding of inkjet-printed perovskite films in terms of droplet manipulation and crystallization regulation is critical for upscaling the perovskite devices to commercial usage.In this review,we give an overview of inkjet-printed high-quality perovskite films and provide guidelines on inkjet-printing large-scale highperformance perovskite devices.First,we analyze theories of droplet formation and perovskite nucleation/crystallization dynamics and then focus on summarizing the perovskite film-formation strategies via IJP,in the aspects of ink engineering,the printing process,and posttreatment.Furthermore,we review the recent advances of inkjet-printed perovskite films on optoelectronic devices,such as perovskite solar cells,perovskite light-emitting diodes,and perovskite photodetectors.Finally,we highlight the“Trilogy Strategies,”including ink engineering,printing process,and posttreatment for printing high-quality perovskite films.Yajie Cheng Hangjuan Wu Junjie Ma Pengwei Li Zhenkun Gu Shuangquan Zang Liyuan Han Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,5:1
3GMDH-Based Outlier Detection Model in Classification Problems显示文摘In many practical classification problems,datasets would have a portion of outliers,which could greatly affect the performance of the constructed models.In order to address this issue,we apply the group method of data handin neural network in outlier detection.This study builds a GMDH-based outlier detectio model.This model first implements feature selection in the training set L using GMDH neural network.Then a new training set L can be obtained by mapping the selected key feature subset.Next,a linear regression model can be constructed in the set L by ordinary least squares estimation.Further,it eliminates a sample from the set L randomly every time,and then rebuilds a linear regression model.Finally,outlier detection is realized by calculating Cook’s distance for each sample.Four different customer classification datasets are used to conduct experiments.Results show that GOD model can effectively eliminate outliers,and compared with the five existing outlier detection models,it generally performs significantly better.This indicates that eliminating outliers can effectively enhance classification accuracy of the trained classification model.XIE Ling JIA Yanlin XIAO Jin GU Xin HUANG Jing 2020Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2020,33,5:1
4Bioinspired molecules design for bilateral synergistic passivation in buried interfaces of planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘Trap-mediated energy loss in the buried interface with non-exposed feature constitutes one of the serious challenges for achieving high-performance perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Inspired by the adhesion mechanism of mussels,herein,three catechol derivatives with functional Lewis base groups,namely 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylalanine(DOPA),3,4-Dihydroxyphenethylamine(DA)and 3-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)propionic acid(DPPA),were strategically designed.These molecules as interfacial linkers are incorporated into the buried interface between perovskite and SnO_(2) surface,achieving bilateral synergetic passivation effect.The crosslinking can produce secondary bonding with the undercoordinated Pb^(2+) and Sn^(4+) defects.The PSCs treated with DOPA exhibited the best performance and operational stability.Upon the DOPA passivation,a stabilized power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 21.5%was demonstrated for the planar PSCs.After 55 days of room-temperature storage,the unencapsulated devices with the DOPA crosslinker could still maintain 85%of their initial performance in air under relative humidity of-15%.This work opens up a new strategy for passivating the buried interfaces of perovskite photovoltaics and also provides important insights into designing defect passivation agents for other perovskite optoelectronic devices,such as light-emitting diodes,photodetectors,and lasers.Bin Wang Junjie Ma Zehua Li Gangshu Chen Qiang Gu Shuyao Chen Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song Jingbo Chen Xiaodong Pi Xuegong Yu Deren Yang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1
5Controllable printing of large-scale compact perovskite films for flexible photodetectors显示文摘Perovskite materials are promising candidates for the next generation of wearable optoelectronics.However,due to uncontrolled crystallization and the natural brittle property of crystals,it remains a great challenge to fabricate large-scale compact and tough perovskite film.Here we report a facile method to print large-scale perovskite films with high quality for flexible photodetectors.By introducing a soluble polyethylene oxide(PEO)layer during the inkjet printing process,the nucleation and crystal growth of perovskite is well controlled.Perovskite films can be easily printed in large scale and patterned in high resolution.Moreover,this method can be extended to various kinds of perovskite materials,such as MAPbb(MA=methylammonium),MA_(3)Sb_(2)l_(9),and(BA)_(2)PbBr_(4)(BA=benzylammonium).The printed perovskite films show high quality and excellent mechanical performance.The photodetectors based on the MAPbBr3 perovskite films show a responsivity up to -1,036 mAA/V and maintain over 96.8%of the initial photocurrent after 15,000 consecutive bending cycles.This strategy provides a facile approach to prepare large-scale flexible perovskite films.It opens up new opportunities for the fabrication of diverse wearable optoelectronic devices.Zhenkun Gu Ying Wang Shiheng Wang Ting Zhang Rudai Zhao Xiaotian Hu Zhandong Huang Meng Su Qun Xu Lihong Li Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1
6A novel fine-resolution snow depth retrieval model to revealdetailed spatiotemporal patterns of snow cover in NortheastChina显示文摘Seasonal snow cover is a key component of the global climate and hydrological system,it has drawn considerable attention under global warming conditions.Although several passive microwave(PMW)snow depth(SD)products have been developed since the 1970s,they inherit noticeable errors and uncertainties when representing spatial distributions and temporal changes of SD,especially in complex mountainous regions.In this paper,we developed afine-resolution SD retrieval model(FSDM)using machine learning to improve SD estimation quality for Northeast China and produced a long-term,fine-resolution,daily SD dataset.The accuracies of the FSDM dataset were evaluated against in-situ SD data along with existing SD products.The results showed the FSDM dataset provided satisfactory inversion accuracy in spatiotemporal evaluation,with the root-mean-square error(RMSE),bias,and correlation coefficient(R)of 7.10 cm,-0.13 cm,and 0.60.Additionally,we analyzed the spatiotemporal variations of SD in Northeast China and found that snow cover was mainly distributed in the Greater Khingan Range,Lesser Khingan Mountains,and Changbai Mountain regions.The SD exhibited high-low distribution patterns with the increased latitude.The annual mean SD slightly increased at the rate of 0.029 cm/year during 1987-2018.Yanlin Wei Xiaofeng Li Lingjia Gu Xingming Zheng Tao Jiang 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:1
7Spatiotemporal Changes of Snow Depth in Western Jilin,China from 1987 to 2018显示文摘Seasonal snow cover is a key global climate and hydrological system component drawing considerable attention due to glob-al warming conditions.However,the spatiotemporal snow cover patterns are challenging in western Jilin,China due to natural condi-tions and sparse observation.Hence,this study investigated the spatiotemporal patterns of snow cover using fine-resolution passive mi-crowave(PMW)snow depth(SD)data from 1987 to 2018,and revealed the potential influence of climate factors on SD variations.The results indicated that the interannual range of SD was between 2.90 cm and 9.60 cm during the snowy winter seasons and the annual mean SD showed a slightly increasing trend(P>0.05)at a rate of 0.009 cm/yr.In snowmelt periods,the snow cover contributed to an increase in volumetric soil water,and the change in SD was significantly affected by air temperature.The correlation between SD and air temperature was negative,while the correlation between SD and precipitation was positive during December and March.In March,the correlation coefficient exceeded 0.5 in Zhenlai,Da’an,Qianan,and Qianguo counties.However,the SD and precipitation were neg-atively correlated over western Jilin in October,and several subregions presented a negative correlation between SD and precipitation in November and April.WEI Yanlin LI Xiaofeng GU Lingjia ZHENG Zhaojun ZHENG Xingming JIANG Tao 2024Chinese Geographical Science2024,34,2:0

9A general method for growth of perovskite single-crystal arrays for high performance photodetectors显示文摘Perovskite single-crystal arrays have attracted intensive attention because of their great potentials for integrated optoelectronic devices.However,the traditional top-down lithography strategy requires complex processing and is detrimental to perovskite crystal structures,which is incompatible to directly pattern perovskite single crystals.Herein,we report a lithography-free method to realize the controllable growth of perovskite single-crystal arrays.Through introducing a printed hydrophilic-hydrophobic substrate into the crystallization system,the MAPbCl_(3) single-crystal arrays with precise location and uniform size are effectively fabricated.This method can be applied to prepare diverse perovskite single-crystal arrays,including MAPbBr_(3),CsPbCl_(3),CsPbBr_(3),Cs_(3)Cu_(2)I_(5),Cs_(3)Bi_(2)I_(9),and(BA)_(2)(MA)_(3)Pb_(4)I_(11).The perovskite single crystals can be selectively grown on the electrodes to fabricate ultraviolet photodetectors.The strategy demonstrates a facile approach to fabricate large-scale perovskite single-crystal arrays and opens a pathway to produce diverse perovskite optoelectronic devices.Shiheng Wang Zhenkun Gu Rudai Zhao Ting Zhang Yunjie Lou Lutong Guo Meng Su Lihong Li Yiqiang Zhang Yanlin Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0

13Multifunctional Perovskite Photodetectors: From Molecular-Scale Crystal Structure Design to Micro/Nano-scale Morphology Manipulation显示文摘Multifunctional photodetectors boost the development of traditional optical communication technology and emerging artificial intelligence fields, such as robotics and autonomous driving. However, the current implementation of multifunctional detectors is based on the physical combination of optical lenses, gratings, and multiple photodetectors, the large size and its complex structure hinder the miniaturization, lightweight, and integration of devices. In contrast, perovskite materials have achieved remarkable progress in the field of multifunctional photodetectors due to their diverse crystal structures, simple morphology manipulation, and excellent optoelectronic properties. In this review, we first overview the crystal structures and morphology manipulation techniques of perovskite materials and then summarize the working mechanism and performance parameters of multifunctional photodetectors. Furthermore, the fabrication strategies of multifunctional perovskite photodetectors and their advancements are highlighted, including polarized light detection, spectral detection, angle-sensing detection, and selfpowered detection. 14Assessment of complete lymph node dissection in patients with melanoma:A systemic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background: Complete lymph node dissection(CLND) for patients with melanoma remains controversial. This meta-analysis aimed to compare the prognoses and complications between the CLND and control groups(patients who receive adjuvant treatment or observation only) in patients with sentinel lymph node(SLN)-positive melanoma.Methods: The Pub Med, Embase, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases were searched for cohort studies and randomized clinical trials(RCTs) conducted between 1964 and 2022, and the quality of the studies was assessed using the Cochrane risk-of-bias tool and Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. Hazard ratios(HR) or risk ratios(RR) with 95%confidence intervals(CIs) were calculated for each outcome. Heterogeneity and sensitivity tests were also conducted, and publication bias tests were performed when the pooled number of studies was >10.Results: Fifteen studies, including 11 cohort studies and 4 RCTs, were enrolled and assessed for quality. Analysis of overall survival showed no significant difference between the CLND and control groups(HR=1.02, 95% CI:0.69–1.51, P=0.922). Similarly, recurrence-free survival(HR=0.84, 95% CI: 0.6–1.16, P=0.287), disease-free survival(HR=1.06, 95% CI: 0.65–1.72, P=0.82), and disease-specific survival(HR=0.84, 95% CI: 0.59–1.21,P=0.355) showed no difference between the two groups. CLND did not reduce the risk of recurrence(RR=0.98,95% CI: 0.8–1.2, P=0.851).Conclusion: Remarkably, patients who underwent CLND were more likely to have complications such as flap necrosis and lymphedema than the controls.
