| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | Constructal design progress for eight types of heat sinks显示文摘This review paper summarizes constructal design progress performed by the authors for eight types of heat sinks with ten performance indexes being taken as the optimization objectives,respectively,by combining the methods of theoretical analysis and numerical calculation.The eight types of heat sinks are uniform height rectangular fin heat sink,non-uniform height rectangular fin heat sink,inline cylindrical pin-fin heat sink(ICPHS),plate single-row pin fin heat sink(PSRPHS),plate inline pin fin heat sink(PIPHS),plate staggered pin fin heat sink(PSPHS),single-layered microchannel heat sink(SLMCHS)with rectangular cross sections and double-layered microchannel heat sink(DLMCHS)with rectangular cross sections,respectively.And the ten performance indexes are heat transfer rate maximization,maximum thermal resistance minimization,minimization of equivalent thermal resistance which is defined based on the entransy dissipation rate(equivalent thermal resistance for short),field synergy number maximization,entropy generation rate minimization,operation cost minimization,thermo-economic function value minimization,pressure drop minimization,enhanced heat transfer factor maximization and efficiency evaluation criterion number maximization,respectively.The optimal constructs of the eight types of heat sinks with different constraints and based on the different optimization objectives are compared with each other.The results indicated that the optimal constructs mostly are different based on different optimization objectives under the same boundary condition.The optimization objective should be suitable chosen based on the focus when the constructal design for one heat sink is performed.The results obtained herein have some important theoretical significances and application values,and can provide scientific bases and theoretical guidelines for the thermal design of real heat sinks and their applications. | CHEN LinGen YANG AiBo FENG HuiJun GE YanLin XIA ShaoJun | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,6: | 25 |

| 4 | Performance optimization of a class of combined thermoelectric heating devices显示文摘A detailed model of thermally-driven combined thermoelectric(TE) heating device is established. The device consists of twostage TE heat pump(TTEH) and two-stage TE generator(TTEG) with four external heat exchangers(HEXs). Both internal losses and external heat transfer irreversibilities are considered in the model. The heating capacity and the coefficient of performance(COP) of the device are improved through numerical optimization,which is of great significance to the application of the device. The distribution of the total TE element number among four TE devices and the distribution of the total external heat conductance among the four external HEXs are optimized. The results show that both the reservoir temperatures of TTEG and TTEH have significant influences on the performance and the corresponding optimum parameters of the device. | 5 | Effects of Yishengukang decoction on expression of bone-specific alkaline phosphatase,carboxyterminal propeptide of typeⅠprocollagen,and carboxyterminal cross-linked telepeptide of typeⅠcollagen in malignant tumor patients with bone metastasis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Yishengukang decoction on the expression of the metabolic bone markers, bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BAP), carboxyterminal propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen(PICP), and carboxyterminal cross-linked telepeptide of type Ⅰ collagen(ICTP), in cancer patients with bone metastasis.METHODS: Patients(n = 180) were divided into three groups:(a) bone metastasis patients treated with Yishengukang and pamidronate disodium injection(treatment group, n = 60);(b) bone metastasis patients treated with pamidronate disodium injection alone(control group, n = 60);(c) cancer patients without metastatic bone lesion(non-bone metastasis group, n = 60). Serum levels of the metabolic markers BAP, PICP, and ICTP were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay pre- and post-therapy.RESULTS: A significant decrease in serum BAP level was observed in the treatment group compared with the control group. However there were no significant differences in serum levels of PICP and ICTP before or after treatment compared with the control group.CONCLUSION: Yishengukang decoction combined with pamidronate disodium injection reduced serum BAP level to a greater extent that pamidronate disodium injection alone. | 7 | Molten steel yield optimization of a converter based on constructal theory显示文摘Constructal theory is introduced into the molten steel yield maximization of a converter in this paper. For the specific total cost of materials, generalized constructal optimization of a converter steel-making process is performed. The optimal cost distribution of materials is obtained, and is also called as 'generalized optimal construct'. The effects of the hot metal composition contents, hot metal temperature, slag basicity and ratio of the waste steel price to the sinter ore price on the optimization results are analyzed.The results show that the molten steel yield after optimization is increased by 5.48% compared with that before optimization when sinter ore and waste steel are taken as the coolants, and the molten steel yield is increased by 6.84% when only the sinter ore is taken as the coolant. It means that taking sinter ore as coolant can improve the economic performance of the converter steelmaking process. Decreasing the contents of the silicon, phosphorus and manganese in the hot metal can increase the molten steel yield. | 11 | GR-mediated transcriptional regulation of m^(6)A metabolic genes contributes to dietinduced fatty liver in hens显示文摘Background:Glucocorticoid receptor(GR)mediated corticosterone-induced fatty liver syndrome(FLS)in the chicken by transactivation of Fat mass and obesity associated gene(FTO),leading to demethylation of N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)and post-transcriptional activation of lipogenic genes.Nutrition is considered the main cause of FLS in the modern poultry industry.Therefore,this study was aimed to investigate whether GR and m^(6)A modification are involved in high-energy and low protein(HELP)diet-induced FLS in laying hens,and if true,what specific m^(6)A sites of lipogenic genes are modified and how GR mediates m^(6)A-dependent lipogenic gene activation in HELP diet-induced FLS in the chicken.Results:Laying hens fed HELP diet exhibit excess(P<0.05)lipid accumulation and lipogenic genes activation in the liver,which is associated with significantly increased(P<0.05)GR expression that coincided with global m^(6)A demethylation.Concurrently,the m^(6)A demethylase FTO is upregulated(P<0.05),whereas the m^(6)A reader YTHDF2 is downregulated(P<0.05)in the liver of FLS chickens.Further analysis identifies site-specific demethylation(P<0.05)of m^(6)A in the mRNA of lipogenic genes,including FASN,SREBP1 and SCD.Moreover,GR binding to the promoter of FTO gene is highly enriched(P<0.05),while GR binding to the promoter of YTHDF2 gene is diminished(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results implicate a possible role of GR-mediated transcriptional regulation of m^(6)A metabolic genes on m^(6)A-depenent post-transcriptional activation of lipogenic genes and shed new light in the molecular mechanism of FLS etiology in the chicken. | Yue Feng Yanlin Li Wenduo Jiang Yun Hu Yimin Jia Ruqian Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 1 |
| 12 | Link between miR-19b and the mTOR signaling pathway in cancer prognosis显示文摘Objective Previous studies have reported differing conclusions regarding the prognostic value of miR-19b in cancers.Moreover,miR-19b may affect tumor growth by different pathways,mainly targeting PTENPI3K-AKT,which activates the downstream mTOR pathway.Therefore,we performed data mining to explore the possible correlation between miR-19b and mTOR in cancer prognosis.Methods We conducted online search and collected a total of 943 articles.According to different authors cross check and our study including/excluding criteria we at end retained 21 articles with 25 studies in this meta-analysis.Then TCGA data containing miR-19b level with cancer progression were obtained using OncomiR.Furthermore,Trial Sequential Analysis(TSA)was performed to determine whether the results of our meta-analysis could be used in clinical applications.After that,articles regarding the mechanism of miR-19b in various cancers were analyzed and KEGG pathway database was used to find the main regulatory function of miR-19b in human cancers.Results Overall hazard ratio(HR)results showed that higher levels of miR-19b expression were correlated with shorter overall survival time[HR=1.54,95%confidence interval(CI)=1.20-1.98]by promoting distant metastasis,but had no correlation with disease-free survival(DFS)/progression-free survival(PFS;HR=0.61,95%CI=0.31–1.19).Data from The Cancer Genome Atlas also revealed the role of miR-19b in tumorigenesis.According to trial sequential analysis results,more evidence is required to confirm that miR-19b is not correlated with DFS/PFS.Exploration of the mechanism revealed a possible link between miR-19b and the mTOR pathway.Conclusion miR-19b may have a pro-carcinogenic role through the mTOR pathway and thus,it is likely to be a therapeutic target for cancers. | Yanlin Feng Souraka Tapara Dramani Maman Shuo Li Dingdong He Jiancheng Tu | 2020 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2020,6,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Facile pathway to generate agrochemical nanosuspensions integrating super-high load, eco-friendly excipients, intensified preparation process, and enhanced potency显示文摘An aqueous nanosuspension of agrochemicals unlike pharmaceutics has to achieve massive production in an effective way,capable to ensure sufficient profits in commercialization.This work implements the flash nanoprecipitation(FNP)technique to effectively generate agrochemical nanosuspension,anticipatedly overcoming such an obstacle.Azoxystrobin,a broad spectrum fungicide,in either acetone or ethanol is used herein as a mode agrochemical.To ensure a green and practical utilization,three kinds of commercially available and eco-friendly surfactants,i.e.,poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PEG-b-PLGA),Tween 80 and alkyl polyglucosides(APGs),are employed for stabilizing the nanoparticles.The results show that the polymeric stabilizer,PEG-b-PLGA,has the best stabilization efficiency,and can maintain the particles below 100 nm for at least three weeks.The azoxystrobin load of the nanoparticles reaches as high as 77 wt.%,beneficial to enhancing the biological potency.Moreover,the FNP brings the particles a much smaller size,narrower size distribution,better size stability,and higher biological efficacy than the ones made via a traditional method of the drop and stir(DS).The nanosuspensions present superior fungicidal performances over a prevailing counterpart from Syngenta.This study proves an enhanced biological potency and reduced dosage of agrochemical nanosuspension made via the FNP,indicating a remarkable advantage of the FNP over the conventional preparation.The integration of a super-high load,eco-friendly excipients,intensified preparation process,enhanced potency,and reduced dosage creates a promising pathway to generate a green aqueous nanosuspension of agrochemicals. | Zhengxi Zhu Chuanhua Shao Yanlin Guo Jianguo Feng Chong Chen and Haibin Yang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,7: | 1 |
