| 2 | Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 35 children with COVID-19 in Beijing,China显示文摘Importance:Within the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global pandemic,more attention is warranted for whether this new infectious disease has unique manifestations in children.Objective:To retrospectively determine the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 35 children with COVID-19 in Beijing,China.Methods:We collected data for 35 children diagnosed with COVID-19 who were admitted to Beijing Ditan Hospital from January 2020 to June 2020,and analyzed their epidemiological characteristics,clinical manifestations,laboratory examinations,chest imaging findings,treatments,and outcomes.Results:The children comprised 18 boys(51.4%)and 17 girls(48.6%)aged 6 months to 15 years.All patients had clear epidemiological history,with family clusters accounting for 28 cases(80.0%)and clear tracing of exposure to high epidemic areas in the remaining 7 cases(20.0%).Four(11.4%)patients were classified as asymptomatic,17(48.6%)as acute upper respiratory infection,and 14(40.0%)as mild pneumonia,with no severe or critical cases.Clinical manifestations were mild,including fever in 18(51.4%),cough in 14(40.0%),and nausea and diarrhea in 7(20.0%)patients.White blood cell count was mostly normal(26 cases,74.3%)or decreased(7 cases,20.0%);lymphocyte percentage was increased in 24(68.7%);neutrophil percentage was decreased in 25(71.4%);alanine aminotransferase was increased in 3(8.6%);and serum potassium was decreased in 4(11.4%).Time to negative viral nucleic acid testing was 2-42 days(mean:14.0±9.4 days).Chest imaging examination revealed that 20 patients(57.1%)had different forms of lung inflammation.Treatment was mainly isolation and nutritional support.Eleven patients were treated with interferon atomization inhalation.No patients required oxygen therapy.All 35 children were cured and discharged.Length of hospital stay was 9-54 days(mean:25.4±13.8 days).During regular follow-up after discharge,5 children showed positivity again in the viral nucleic acid test and were re-hospitalized for observation and treatment.The mean length of re-hospitalization stay was 10.8 days.Interpretation:Children with COVID-19 mainly become infected within their family,and children of all ages are generally susceptible.The disease in children is mostly mild and the prognosis is good.Nucleic acid tests in some patients become positive again after discharge,suggesting that it is of great significance to carry out centralized isolation medical observations and active nucleic acid tests in close contacts for early detection of patients and routine epidemic prevention and control. | Ming He Caiying Wang Lin Xu Huimin Zhang Yuhuan Liu Yang Zhao Shuxin He Yanlan Zhang Hongling Yang Yang Liu Min Miao Zhihai Chen Lin Pang | 2020 | Pediatric Investigation2020,4,4: | 3 |
| 3 | Fabrication and properties of ultraviolet photo-detectors based on SiC nanowires显示文摘A new type of ultraviolet photo-detectors (UVPDs) based on a bundle of highly aligned SiC nanowires was fabricated and the photo-electric properties of the UVPDs including I-V characteristics and time response were studied in this work. SiC nanowires were prepared by pyrolysis of a polymer precursor with ferrocene as the catalyst by a CVD route. The diameters of SiC nanowires varied from 100 to 200 nm while they were some centimeters long and the SiC nanowires were with zinc blended cubic form ( -SiC) tested by X-ray diffraction. A bundle of nanowires was fixed onto two legs' base by conductive silver paste to form the UVPDs. The electrical measurement of the device showed a significant increase of current when the device was exposed to 254 nm UV light, and the rising time of the device is very short, but the falling time is relatively long. | 7 | Interleukin-22 regulating fibrosis on mouse cardiac fibroblasts through STAT3 signaling pathway显示文摘Objective:To observe the effects of interleukin-22(IL-22)on the expression of type Ⅲ collagen,cytokines,growth factors and chemokines in mouse cardiac fibroblasts in vitro.Methods:Mouse cardiac fibroblasts were treated with0μg/L(control),1μg/L(low concentration)and 100μg/L(high concentration)IL-22,respectively.In addition,cells treated with 100μmol/L static(an STAT3 pathway inhibitor)and 100μg/L IL-22 was defined as the block group.After treatment for 48 hours,the mRNA level of collagen type Ⅲ A1(Col3-A1),matrix metalloproteinase-1(Timp-1),IL-22receptor(IL-22R),interleukin 10-related T cellderived inducible factor beta(Iltifb),fibroblast growth factor1(Fgf1)and C-C motif chemokine ligand 4(Ccl4)were determined by RT-PCR.The expression of Col3-A1 in cardiac fibroblasts was also semi-quantified by immunofluorescence.Results:Expression of Col3-A1 decreased in the low and high concentration groups,but significantly increased in the block group(all P <0.05).The expression of Timp-1increased in the low,high concentration and block groups compared with that in the control group,but it was significantly lower in the high concentration group than that in the low concentration group(P <0.05).The expression of IL-22 Rand Iltifb was significantly increased in the low,high concentration and block groups compared with that in the control group(P <0.05),but there was no statistical difference between the high concentration group and block group.The expression of Fgf1 and Ccl4 was significantly decreased in the low,high concentration and block groups compared with that in the control group(P <0.05),but there was no statistic difference between the high concentration group and block group as well.Conclusion:IL-22 effected on the expression of Col3-A1 and Timp-1,which was possibly through the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway in mice cardiac fibroblasts. | Xingcui Gao Weifeng Wu Bin Wei Yan Deng Yanlan Huang | 2017 | 广西医科大学学报2017,34,2: | 1 |
| 8 | Estimation of surface ozone concentration over Jiangsu province using a high-performance deep learning model显示文摘Recently,the global background concentration of ozone(O_(3))has demonstrated a rising trend.Among various methods,groun-basedmonitoring of O_(3)concentrations is highly reliable for research analysis.To obtain information on the spatial characteristics of O_(3)concentrations,it is necessary that the groundmonitoring sites be constructed in sufficient density.In recent years,many researchers have used machine learning models to estimate surface O_(3)concentrations,which cannot fully provide the spatial and temporal information contained in a sample dataset.To solve this problem,the current study utilized a deep learning model called the Residual connection Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory network(RConvLSTM)to estimate daily maximum8-hr average(MDA8)O_(3)over Jiangsu province,China during 2020.In this research,the R-ConvLSTM model not only provides the spatiotemporal information ofMDA8 O_(3),but also involves residual connection to avoid the problem of gradient explosion and gradient disappearance with the deepening of network layers.We utilized the TROPOMI total O_(3)column retrieved fromSentinel-5 Precursor,ERA5 reanalysismeteorological data,and other supplementary data to build a pre-trained dataset.The R-ConvLSTM model achieved an overall sample-base cross-validation(CV)R^(2)of 0.955 with root mean square error(RMSE)of 9.372μg/m^(3).Model estimation also showed a city-based CV R^(2)of 0.896 with RMSE of 14.029μg/m^(3),the highest MDA8 O_(3)in spring being 122.60±31.60μg/m^(3)and the lowest in winter being 69.93±18.48μg/m^(3). | Xi Mu Sichen Wang Peng Jiang Yanlan Wu | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,10: | 1 |
