2Microtubule-associated deacetylase HDAC6 promotes angiogenesis by regulating cell migration in an EB1-dependent manner显示文摘Angiogenesis,a process by which the preexisting blood vasculature gives rise to new capillary vessels,is associated with a variety of physiologic and pathologic conditions.However,the molecular mechanism underlying this important process remains poorly understood.Here we show that histone deacetylase 6(HDAC6),a microtubule-associated enzyme critical for cell motility,contributes to angiogenesis by regulating the polarization and migration of vascular endothelial cells.Inhibition of HDAC6 activity impairs the formation of new blood vessels in chick embryos and in angioreactors implanted in mice.The requirement for HDAC6 in angiogenesis is corroborated in vitro by analysis of endothelial tube formation and capillary sprouting.Our data further show that HDAC6 stimulates membrane ruffling at the leading edge to promote cell polarization.In addition,microtubule end binding protein 1(EB1)is important for HDAC6 to exert its activity towards the migration of endothelial cells and generation of capillary-like structures.These results thus identify HDAC6 as a novel player in the angiogenic process and offer novel insights into the molecular mechanism governing endothelial cell migration and angiogenesis.Dengwen Li Songbo Xie Yuan Ren Lihong Huo Jinmin Gao Dandan Cui Min Liu Jun Zhou 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,2:13
3Electrolyte solvation chemistry for lithium-sulfur batteries with electrolyte-lean conditions显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries possess overwhelming energy density of 2654 Wh kg-1,and are considered as the next-generation battery technology for energy demanding applications.Flooded electrolytes are ubiquitously employed in cells to ensure sufficient redox kinetics and preclude the interference of the electrolyte depletion due to side reactions with the lithium metal anode.This strategy is capable of enabling long-lasting,high-capacity and excellent-rate battery performances,but it mask the requirements of practical Li-S batteries,where high-sulfur-loading/content and lean electrolyte are prerequisite to realize the energy-dense Li-S batteries.Sparingly and highly solvating electrolytes have emerged as effective yet simple approaches to decrease the electrolyte/sulfur ratio through altering sulfur species and exerting new reaction pathways.Sparingly solvating electrolytes are characterized by few free solvents to solvate lithium polysulfides,rendering a quasi-solid sulfur conversion and decoupling the reaction mechanisms from electrolyte quantity used in cells;while highly solvating electrolytes adopt highdonicity or high-permittivity solvents and take their advantages of strong solvation ability toward polysulfide intermediates,thereby favoring the polysulfide formation and stabilizing unique radicals,which subsequently accelerate redox kinetics.Both solvation chemistry approaches have their respective features to allow the operation of cells under electrolyte-starved conditions.This Review discusses their unique features and basic physicochemical properties in the working Li-S batteries,presents remaining technical and scientific issues and provides future directions for the electrolyte chemistry to attain highenergy Li-S batteries.Long Kong Lihong Yin Fei Xu Juncao Bian Huimin Yuan Zhouguang Lu Yusheng Zhao 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:5
4Highly Dispersed Pt Species with Excellent Stability and Catalytic Performance by Reducing a Perovskite-Type Oxide Precursor for CO Oxidation显示文摘A new scheme for the preparation of highly dispersed precious metal catalysts is proposed in this work. Samples of LaCo_(1-x)Pt_xO_3/SiO_2( x = 0.03, 0.05, 0.07, 0.09, and 0.10) were prepared through a simple method of citrate acid complexation combined with impregnation. In a nanocrystallite of LaCo_(1-x)Pt_xO_3, ions of lanthanum, cobalt, and platinum are evenly mixed at the atomic level and confined within the nanocrystallite. In the reduction process, platinum ions were reduced and migrated onto the surface of the nanocrystallite, and the platinum should be highly dispersed owing to the even mixing of the platinum ions in the precursor. When x = 0.05 or lower, the highest dispersion of Pt could be achieved. The highly dispersed Pt is stable, because of the strong interaction between Pt atoms and the support. The catalysts were characterized by BET surface area, temperature-programmed reduction, X-ray diff raction, transmission electron microscopy, CO temperatureprogrammed desorption, and turnover frequency. 5Electronic structure of exfoliated millimeter-sized monolayer WSe2 on silicon wafer显示文摘The mono layer WSe2 is in teresting and important for future application in nanoelectronics,spintronics and valleytronics devices,because it has the largest spin splitting and Ion gest valley coherence time among all the known monolayer transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDs).Toobtain the large-area monolayer TMDs'crystal is the first step to manu facture scalable and high-performance electronic devices.In this letter,we have successfully fabricated millimeter-sized mono layer WSe2 single crystals with very high quality,based on our improved mecha nicalexfoliation method.With such superior samples,using standard high resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy,we didcomprehe nsive electronic band structure measurements on our mono layer WSe2.The overall band features point it to be a 1.2 eV direct bandgap semico nductor.Its spin splitting of the valence band at K point is found as 460 meV,which is 30 meV less than the corresponding band splitting in its bulk counterpart.The effective hole masses of valence bands are determined as 2.344 me atГ,and 0.529 me as well as 0.532 meat K for the upper and lower branch of splitting ban ds,respectively.And screening effect from substrate is shown to substa ntially impact onthe electronic properties.Our results provide importa nt insights into band structure engineering in mono layer TMDs.Our mono layer WSe2 crystals may constitute a valuable device platform.Wenjuan Zhao Yuan Huang Cheng Shen Cong Li Yongqing Cai Yu Xu Hongtao Rong Qiang Gao Yang Wang Lin Zhao Lihong Bao Qingyan Wang Guangyu Zhang Hongjun Gao Zuyan Xu Xingjiang Zhou Guodong Liu 2019Nano Research2019,12,12:2
6InSe/hBN/graphite heterostructure for high-performance 2D electronics and flexible electronics显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)materials as channel materials provide a promising alternative route for future electronics and flexible electronics,but the device performance is affected by the quality of interface between the 2D-material channel and the gate dielectric.Here we demonstrate an indium selenide(lnSe)/hexagonal boron nitride(hBN)/graphite heterostructure as a 2D field-effect transistor(FET),with InSe as channel material,hBN as dielectric,and graphite as gate.The fabricated FETs feature high electron mobility up to 1,146 cm2·V^-1·s^-1 at room temperature and on/off ratio up to 1010 due to the atomically flat gate dielectric.Integrated digital inverters based on InSe/hBN/graphite heterostructures are constructed by local gating modulation and an ultrahigh voltage gain up to 93.4 is obtained.Taking advantages of the mechanical flexibility of these materials,we integrated the heterostructured InSe FET on a flexible substrate,exhibiting little modification of device performance at a high strain level of up to 2%.Such high-performance heterostructured device configuration based on 2D materials provides a new way for future electronics and flexible electronics.Liangmei Wu Jinan Shi Zhang Zhou Jiahao Yan Aiwei Wang Ce Bian Jiajun Ma Ruisong Ma Hongtao Liu Jiancui Chen Yuan Huang Wu Zhou Lihong Bao Min Ouyang Sokrates T.Pantelides Hong-Jun Gao 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:1

14Ferroelectric-gated ReS_(2)field-effect transistors for nonvolatile memory显示文摘Ferroelectric field-effect transistors(FeFET)with nondestructive readout capability have emerged as an attractive candidate for next-generation nonvolatile memory technology.Herein,we demonstrate ferroelectric-gated nonvolatile memory featuring a top gate architecture by combining multi-layer ReS_(2)with ferroelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene)(P(VDF-TrFE))copolymer films.The ReS_(2)FeFET using hBN as substrate shows a large memory window of~30 V.Repeated write/erase operations are successfully performed by applying pulse voltage of±25 V with 1 ms width to the ferroelectric P(VDF-TrFE),and an ultra-high write/erase ratio of~107 can be achieved.Furthermore,the ReS_(2)FeFET shows stable data retention capability of longer than 2,000 s and reliable endurance of greater than 2,000 cycles.These characteristics highlight that such ferroelectricgated nonvolatile memory has great potential in future non-volatile memory applications.Li Liu Hao Wang Qilong Wu Kang Wu Yuan Tian Haitao Yang Cheng Min Shen Lihong Bao Zhihui Qin Hong-Jun Gao 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1
