2Identification of an epitope of SARS-coronavirus nucleocapsid protein显示文摘The nucleocapsid (N) protein of severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is a majorvirion structural protein. In this study, two epitopes (N1 and N2) of the N protein of SARS-CoV werepredicted by bioinformatics analysis. After immunization with two peptides, the peptides-specific antibodieswere isolated from the immunized rabbits. The further experiments demonstrated that N1 peptide-inducedpolyclonal antibodies had a high affinity to bind to E. coli expressed N protein of SARS-CoV. Furthermore, itwas confirmed that N1 peptide-specific IgG antibodies were detectable in the sera of severe acute respiratorysyndrome (SARS) patients. 3Effects of recombinant human growth hormone on rat septic shock with intraabdominal infection by E.coli显示文摘AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effects of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) on rat septic shock with intraabdominal infection by E. coli and its possible mechanism. METHODS: 76 SD rats were divided into 3 groups randomly:control group (group C, n=16) without any special treatnent,of E. coli(1×1010 cfu@ L-1,15 ml@kg-1, ip), treated group (group by rhGH injection (2.25 U@kg-1@d-1, im). Group S and group T were further divided into 1d and 3d subgroups, respectively (n=15 each). Mean arterial pressure (MAP), levels of plasma TNFα and endotoxin and leukocyte count were determined on 1st day and 3rd day after E. coli injection. Another 39 SD rats were divided into groups C, S and T (n=13 each) just for observing survival rate within 1 week.RESULTS: (1) On 1st and 3rd day, MAP in group S decreased markedly, and MAP on 1st day lowered more than that of 3rd day (P<0.01), while MAP in group T just decreased slightly. The survival rate within 1 week was much higher in group T (84.6 %) than in group S (46.2 %) (P<0.01). (2)On 1st day, plasma TNFα and endotoxin elevated significantly in group S and group T (P<0.05), and endotoxin in group S had more increase (P<0.01). On 3rd day, TNFα in group S returned to the level of group C (P>0.05),while TNFα in group T went down below the level of group C(P<0.01). On 3rd day, endotoxin in group S declined, but was still higher than that of group C (P<0.01), endotoxin in group T returned to the level of group C (P>0.05). (3) On 1st day, neutrophil ratio in total leukocyte count in both group S and group T increased significantly (P<0.05 vs group C).CONCLUSION: rhGH showed beneficial effects on rat septic shock. 5Theoretical analysis of the harmonic characteristics of modular multilevel converters显示文摘To understand the operation principle of the modular multilevel converter(MMC)deeply,it is necessary to study the harmonic characteristics of the MMC theoretically.Besides,the analytical harmonic formulas of the MMC are useful in designing the main circuit,reducing the losses and improving the waveform quality.Based on the average switching function and the Fourier series harmonic analysis,this paper deduces the analytical expressions for such electrical quantities as the arm voltage,the arm current,the capacitor voltage,the capacitor current and the circulating current of the MMC.Finally,a digital model of a 21-level MMC-HVDC system is realized in PSCAD/EMTDC.The results of the analytical expressions coincide with the simulation results,which verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed analytical expressions.XIAO HuangQing XU Zheng XUE YingLin TANG Geng 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,11:10
6Characterization of a Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3)alloy both containing W phase and LPSO phase with or without heat treatment显示文摘The influence of solid solution treatment on the microstructure and corrosion resistance of as-cast Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) alloy is characterized.The microstructure of the as-cast Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) alloy mainly consisted ofα-Mg,W(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2))phase,and the long period stacking ordered(LPSO)(Mg_(12)ZnY)phase.After solid solution treatment,most of the W phase disappears gradually with increasing solution treatment time,with only a small amount of W phase distributed as particle.The LPSO phase slightly dissolved into substrate,and its morphology transitions from blocky shape to rod shape.Solid solution treatment of Mg_(95.5)Zn_(1.5)Y_(3) exhibits excellent corrosion resistance,because the Y and Zn atoms became enriched in the matrix and the changed morphologies of the LPSO and W phases were modified through heat treatment.The alloy created with solid solution treatment at 520 ℃ for 10 hours exhibits corrosion potential of−1.419 V,suggesting a significant improvement in corrosion performance.Li Zhumin Wan Diqing Huang Yi Ye Shuting Hu Yinglin 2017Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2017,5,2:8

8Formation of NiFe_2O_4/Expanded Graphite Nanocomposites with Superior Lithium Storage Properties显示文摘A Ni Fe_2O_4/expanded graphite(Ni Fe_2O_4/EG)nanocomposite was prepared via a simple and inexpensive synthesis method. Its lithium storage properties were studied with the goal of applying it as an anode in a lithium-ion battery. The obtained nanocomposite exhibited a good cycle performance, with a capacity of 601 m Ah g^(-1)at a current of 1 A g^(-1)after 800 cycles. This good performance may beattributed to the enhanced electrical conductivity and layered structure of the EG. 9Topology Recovery Technique for Complex Freeform Surface Model after Local Geometry Repair显示文摘Intersections and discontinuities commonly arise in surface modeling and cause problems in downstream operations.Local geometry repair,such as cover holes or replace bad surfaces by adding new surface patches for dealing with inconsistencies among the confluent region,where multiple surfaces meet,is a common technique used in CAD model repair and reverse engineering.However,local geometry repair destroys the topology of original CAD model and increases the number of surface patches needed for freeform surface shape modeling.Consequently,a topology recovery technique dealing with complex freeform surface model after local geometry repair is proposed.Firstly,construct the curve network which determine the geometry and topology properties of recovery freeform surface model;secondly,apply freeform surface fitting method to create B-spline surface patches to recover the topology of trimmed ones.Corresponding to the two levels of enforcing boundary conditions on a B-spline surface,two solution schemes are presented respectively.In the first solution scheme,non-constrained B-spline surface fitting method is utilized to piecewise recover trimmed confluent surface patches and then employs global beautification technique to smoothly stitch the recovery surface patches.In the other solution scheme,constrained B-spline surface fitting technique based on discretization of boundary conditions is directly applied to recover topology of surface model after local geometry repair while achieving G 1 continuity simultaneously.The presented two different schemes are applied to the consistent surface model,which consists of five trimmed confluent surface patches and a local consistent surface patch,and a machine cover model,respectively.The application results show that our topology recovery technique meets shape-preserving and G 1 continuity requirements in reverse engineering.This research converts the problem of topology recovery for consistent surface model to the problem of constructing G 1 patches from a given curve network,and provides a new idea to model repairing study.BIAN Keke KE Yinglin 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,1:6
10CoFe_2O_4-Graphene Nanocomposites Synthesized through An Ultrasonic Method with Enhanced Performances as Anode Materials for Li-ion Batteries显示文摘Co Fe2O4-graphene nanosheets(Co Fe2O4-GNSs) were synthesized through an ultrasonic method, and their electrochemical performances as Li-ion battery electrode were improved by annealing processes. The nanocomposites obtained at 350 °C maintained a high specific capacity of 1,257 m Ah g-1even after 200 cycles at 0.1 A g-1. Furthermore,the obtained materials also have better rate capability, and it can be maintained to 696, 495, 308, and 254 m Ah g-1at 1, 2,5, and 10 A g-1, respectively. 11Stiffness of Postural Alignment System Based on 3-Axis Actuators for Large Aircraft Components显示文摘Aircraft digital flexible assembly fixture and technologies are widely used in developed countries, while the traditional jig-based assembly mode is still used in China. The application study of aircraft digital flexible assembly system is just beginning in our country recently. To meet the requirements of automated posture alignment and join in digital assembly system for large aircraft components, a novel fitting fixture called 3-axis actuator is developed. On the basis of the actuators, three kinds of posture alignment system for large aircraft components are proposed, including the non-redundant system, the redundant actuating system, and the redundant leg system, and their constitutions and properties are introduced. Through deriving the feeding transmission stiffness model of single actuator and analyzing the inverse kinematics of these systems, the relationship between the external force and the changes of position and orientation of large aircraft component is obtained, and then the postural alignment stiffness models are established. With the method mentioned above, the postural alignment stiffness of three systems is computed by using the algebraic formulate, and the results show that redundant properties can increase system’s postural alignment stiffness. As an example, a optimized layout of the assembly system for a given model of aircraft is developed, the results of application show that the layout has many advantages, such as high accuracy, stiffness, stability, reliability, efficiency and flexible, which can satisfy the requirement of aircraft digital assembly system well. 12Synthesis of N-acetamide C_(60) nitride and its performance of optical limiting显示文摘N-acetamide C60 nitride (N-acetamide-1,2-dihydro-1,2-aza-fullerene[60]) has been synthesized by the reaction of C60 and azidoacetamide and initially characterized. Its mechanism was that the objective product is formed through intermediate triazoline. The computational study shows that N-nitride structure is thermodynamically more stable by using the semi-empirical AM1 SCF-MO method. The properties of optical limiting were tested by using double frequency Nd: YAG pulse laser system and showed that the optical limiting mechanism is reverse saturation absorption. At wavelength of 532 nm, compared with optical limiting for ns pulse, this new material has good optical limiting character for ps pulse. 13Distribution of elements extracted from symptom patterns and characteristics of polysomnograph of common symptom patterns of insomnia with Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the distribution and combined regulation of elements of symptom patterns in the diagnosis of insomnia with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS: The samples were collected from the patients, diagnosed with insomnia, of Henan Province Hospital of TCM between June 2011 and September 2013. The symptom patterns in insomnia were extracted. Next, symptom differentiation,characteristics of polysomnography(PSG), distribution and combined regulation of these symptom patterns were conducted by tests.RESULTS: In total, 286 eligible patients were recruited. The main locations of the disease symptom elements were the brain and heart, and the main characteristics of the disease symptom elements were phlegm-heat, Yin-deficiency and Qi-stagnation. The elements from two or three symptom patterns were commonly manifested in patients with insomnia, especially from three symptom patterns. We also found that all TCM symptom patterns had an effect on polysomnographic indicators in PSG tests.CONCLUSION: The elements of symptom patterns in insomnia were identified as mainly fire-heat and phlegm-heat. The most common patterns of excess were pathogenic fire derived from stagnation of liver-Qi, and mental disturbance due to phlegm-heat,while the most common patterns of deficiency in both the heart and the spleen. 15Global Continuity Adjustment and Local Shape Optimization Technique for Complex Trimmed Surface Model显示文摘Smoothly stitching multiple surfaces mainly represented by B-spline or NURBS together is an extremely important issue in complex surfaces modeling and reverse engineering.In recent years,a lot of progress has been made in smooth join of non-trimmed surface patches,while there has been seldom research on smoothly stitching trimmed surface patches together.This paper studies the problem of global continuity adjustment,damaged hole repair and local shape optimization for complex trimmed surface model,and presents a uniform scheme to deal with continuity adjustment of trimmed surfaces and geometric repair of local broken region.Constrained B-spline surface refitting technique and trim calculation are first utilized to achieve global G1 continuity,and then local shape optimization functional is adopted to reduce fitting error and improve local quality of refitted surface patch.The proposed approach is applied to a discontinuity ship hull surface model with an irregular hole,and the result demonstrates the validation of our method.Furthermore,on the premise of global continuity,the proposed locally repairing damaged surface model provides a better foundation for following research work,such as topology recovery technique for complex surface model after geometric repair.BIAN Keke KE Yinglin 2010Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,2:3

17Hercynian-Indosinian Sedimento-Tectonic Evolution of the Nanpanjiang Basin显示文摘Following the orogeny in the Early Palaeozoic, the tectonic evolution of the Nanpanjiang basin in the Hercynian-Indosinian stage constituted a complete Wilson Cycle, made up of the stages of early rifting (D-P1), late rifting and passive margin developement (P2-T1), and peripheral foreland basin developement (T2-T3). The REE data of the initial Early Triassic basalts from the southern part of the basin has verified the existence of the oceanic crust once in the basinal evolution. 19A SKELETONIZATION ALGORITHM BASED ON EUCLIDEAN DISTANCE MAPS AND MORPHOLOGICAL OPERATORS显示文摘In this letter a new skeletonization algorithm is proposed. It combines techniques of fast construction of Euclidean Distance Maps(EDMs), ridge extraction, Hit-or-Miss Transformation(HMT) of structuring elements and the set operators. It first produces the EDM image with no more than 4 passes through an image of any kinds, and then the ridge image is extracted by applying a turn-on scheme and performing a rain-fall elimination to accelerate the processing. The one-pixel wide skeleton is finally acquired by carrying out the HMTs of two structure elements and the SUBTRACT and OR operations. 20Highly stretchable and reliable graphene oxide- reinforced liquid gating membranes for tunable gas/liquid transport显示文摘The ability of membrane technologies to dynamically tune the transport behavior for gases and liquids is critical for their applications.Although various methods have been developed to improve membrane success,tradeoffs still exist among their properties,such as permeability,selectivity,fouling resistance,and stability,which can greatly affect the performance of membranes.Existing elastomeric membrane designs can provide antifracture properties and flexibility;however,these designs still face certain challenges,such as low tensile strength and reliability.Additionally,researchers have not yet thoroughly developed membranes that can avoid fouling issues while realizing precise dynamic control over the transport substances.In this study,we show a versatile strategy for preparing graphene oxide-reinforced elastomeric liquid gating membranes that can finely modulate and dynamically tune the sorting of a wide range of gases and liquids under constant applied pressures.Moreover,the produced membranes exhibit antifouling properties and are adaptable to different length scales,pressures,and environments.The filling of graphene oxide in the thermoplastic polyurethane matrix enhances the composites through hydrogen bonds.Experiments and theoretical calculations are carried out to demonstrate the stability of our system.Our membrane exhibits good stretchability,recovery,and durability due to the elastic nature of the solid matrix and dynamic nature of the gating liquid.Dynamic control over the transport of gases and liquids is achieved through our optimized interfacial design and controllable pore deformation,which is induced by mechanical stimuli.Our strategy will create new opportunities for many applications,such as gas-involved chemical reactions,multiphase separation,microfluidics,multiphase microreactors,and particulate material synthesis.Wei Lv Zhizhi Sheng Yinglin Zhu Jing Liu Yi Lei Rongrong Zhang Xinyu Chen Xu Hou 2020Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1:3
