1A quality evaluation strategy for Rhizoma coptidis from a variety of different sources using chromatographic fingerprinting combined with biological fingerprinting显示文摘Most of herbal medicines of different sources are used for the same treatment goal in clinic despite their tremendous differences of the quality.Because the clinical efficacy is closely related to the quality of medicines, the implementation of an effective quality control(QC)process is vital.Chemical methods based on content determination and chromatographic fingerprints(CFs)have been recommended as powerful tools. In spite of advances in QC,it is still difficult to determine that which of the chemical compositions can best reflect the correlation with the desired biological activity.Herein,we have focused on the biological activities of multi-source herbal medicines to establish an analytical method.By looking for correlations between the biological activities and their chemical compositions, the method can identify reasonable chemical indicators or chemical methods with biological activity information. In this study,high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)and microcalorimetry are combined as a useful method for evaluating the quality of Rhizoma coptidis from different sources. The results of biological fingerprints(BFs)showed that the antibacterial activity sequence of R.coptidis of different sources was Coptis teeta Wall.(CT)>Coptis chinensis Franch.(CC)>Coptis deltoidea C.Y.Cheng et Hsiao(CD).The'spectrum-activity'relationships between CFs and BFs were investigated using the canonical correlation analysis(CCA).Compared with the CCA result of CFs and BFs,the canonical correlation coefficient r1and r2were 0.9974 and 0.9752,respectively.It revealed that there are a close correlation between the spectrum-activity relationships and several of the major anti-bacterial components in the CFs,including jatrorrhizine, coptisine, palmatine, and berberine.Of course,R.coptidis was only a representative of multisource medical plants. The result of the current study will provide an effective reference for evaluating the quality of multisource herbal medicines.LI JunXian YAN Dan MA LiNa XIONG Yin YAN ChunXia LI BaoCai PENG Cheng XIAO XiaoHe 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33:5
2Chinese expert consensus on conversion therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(2021 edition)显示文摘Recent advances in systemic and locoregional treatments for patients with unresectable or advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)have resulted in improved response rates. This has provided an opportunity for selected patients with initially unresectable HCC to achieve adequate tumor downstaging to undergo surgical resection,a‘conversion therapy’strategy. However, conversion therapy is a new approach to the treatment of HCC and its practice and treatment protocols are still being developed.Review the evidence for conversion therapy in HCC and develop consensus statements to guide clinical practice.Evidence review:Many research centers in China have accumulated significant experience implementing HCC conversion therapy.Preliminary findings and data have shown that conversion therapy represents an important strategy to maximize the survival of selected patients with intermediate stage to advanced HCC;however, there are still many urgent clinical and scientific challenges for this therapeutic strategy and its related fields. In order to summarize and learn from past experience and review current challenges, the Chinese Expert Consensus on Conversion Therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma(2021 Edition)was developed based on a review of preliminary experience and clinical data from Chinese and non-Chinese studies in this field and combined with recommendations for clinical practice.Sixteen consensus statements on the implementation of conversion therapy for HCC were developed. The statements generated in this review are based on a review of clinical evidence and real clinical experience and will help guide future progress in conversion therapy for patients with HCC.Hui-Chuan Sun Jian Zhou Zheng Wang Xiufeng Liu Qing Xie Weidong Jia Ming Zhao Xinyu Bi Gong Li Xueli Bai Yuan Ji Li Xu Xiao-Dong Zhu Dousheng Bai Yajin Chen Yongjun Chen Chaoliu Dai Rongping Guo Wenzhi Guo Chunyi Hao Tao Huang Zhiyong Huang Deyu Li Gang Li Tao Li Xiangcheng Li Guangming Li Xiao Liang Jingfeng Liu Fubao Liu Shichun Lu Zheng Lu Weifu Lv Yilei Mao Guoliang Shao Yinghong Shi Tianqiang Song Guang Tan Yunqiang Tang Kaishan Tao Chidan Wan Guangyi Wang Lu Wang Shunxiang Wang Tianfu Wen Baocai Xing Bangde Xiang Sheng Yan Dinghua Yang Guowen Yin Tao Yin Zhenyu Yin Zhengping Yu Bixiang Zhang Jialin Zhang Shuijun Zhang Ti Zhang Yamin Zhang Yubao Zhang Aibin Zhang Haitao Zhao Ledu Zhou Wu Zhang Zhenyu Zhu Shukui Qin Feng Shen Xiujun Cai Gaojun Teng Jianqiang Cai Minshan Chen Qiang Li Lianxin Liu Weilin Wang Tingbo Liang Jiahong Dong Xiaoping Chen Xuehao Wang Shusen Zheng Jia Fan 2022Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,2:4

10Deep 3D reconstruction:methods, data, and challenges显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction of shapes is an important research topic in the fields of computer vision, computer graphics, pattern recognition, and virtual reality.Existing 3D reconstruction methods usually suffer from two bottlenecks:(1)they involve multiple manually designed states which can lead to cumulative errors, but can hardly learn semantic features of 3D shapes automatically;(2)they depend heavily on the content and quality of images,as well as precisely calibrated cameras. As a result,it is difficult to improve the reconstruction accuracy of those methods.3D reconstruction methods based on deep learning overcome both of these bottlenecks by automatically learning semantic features of 3D shapes from low-quality images using deep networks. However, while these methods have various architectures,in-depth analysis and comparisons of them are unavailable so far.We present a comprehensive survey of 3D reconstruction methods based on deep learning.First, based on different deep learning model architectures,we divide 3D reconstruction methods based on deep learning into four types, recurrent neural network, deep autoencoder, generative adversarial network, and convolutional neural network based methods, and analyze the corresponding methodologies carefully.Second,we investigate four representative databases that are commonly used by the above methods in detail.Third,we give a comprehensive comparison of 3D reconstruction methods based on deep learning, which consists of the results of different methods with respect to the same database, the results of each method with respect to different databases, and the robustness of each method with respect to the number of views. Finally,we discuss future development of 3D reconstruction methods based on deep learning.Caixia LIU Dehui KONG Shaofan WANG Zhiyong WANG Jinghua LI Baocai YIN 2021Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2021,22,5:1

17DTCC:Multi-level dilated convolution with transformer for weakly-supervised crowd counting显示文摘Crowd counting provides an important foundation for public security and urban management.Due to the existence of small targets and large density variations in crowd images, crowd counting is a challenging task.Mainstream methods usually apply convolution neural networks(CNNs)to regress a density map, which requires annotations of individual persons and counts.Weakly-supervised methods can avoid detailed labeling and only require counts as annotations of images, but existing methods fail to achieve satisfactory performance because a global perspective field and multi-level information are usually ignored. We propose a weakly-supervised method,DTCC,which effectively combines multi-level dilated convolution and transformer methods to realize end-to-end crowd counting. Its main components include a recursive swin transformer and a multi-level dilated convolution regression head. The recursive swin transformer combines a pyramid visual transformer with a fine-tuned recursive pyramid structure to capture deep multi-level crowd features, including global features. The multi-level dilated convolution regression head includes multi-level dilated convolution and a linear regression head for the feature extraction module. This module can capture both low-and high-level features simultaneously to enhance the receptive field. In addition, two regression head fusion mechanisms realize dynamic and mean fusion counting.Experiments on four well-known benchmark crowd counting datasets(UCF_CC_50,ShanghaiTech,UCF_QNRF,and JHU-Crowd++)show that DTCC achieves results superior to other weakly-supervised methods and comparable to fully-supervised methods.Zhuangzhuang Miao Yong Zhang Yuan Peng Haocheng Peng Baocai Yin 2023Computational Visual Media2023,9,4:0
18ON EXPLICIT BASIS OF BIVARIATE SPLINE SPACE显示文摘For a subdivision △ of a region in d-dimensional Euclidean space. we consider computation ofdimension and of basis function in spline space S((△)consisting of all Cpiecewise Polynomial func-tions over△of degree at most k. A computational scheme is presented for computing the dimensionand bases of spline space S(△).This scheme based On the Grobner basis algorithm and the smoothco-factor method for computing multivariate spline. For bivariate splines, explicit basis functions ofS(△)age obtained for any integer k and r when△is a cross-cut partition.Baocai Yin Wen Gao, Beijing Polytechnic University, ChinaHarbin Institute of Technology, China Department of Computer Science Beijing Polytechnic University Beijing, 100022 PRC Department of Computer Science Harbin Institute of Technology Harbin, 150001 PRC 1998Analysis in Theory and Applications1998,14,4:0
19An improved description method of the bumpy texture显示文摘Bump mapping is a texture-based rendering approach for simulating surface details to make its illumi- nation results have three-dimensional effects. The bumpy properties of an object are determined by height maps. But in the process of generating height maps, a problem arises, i.e. to get a correct value of the pixel height, empirical data should be calculated repeatedly, which proves very complicated, and meanwhile the realistic rendering effect is reduced, because the bumpy property is exaggerated in the height map. Therefore, in this paper, we present a method for describing the details of the bumpy tex- ture, where a new concept 'bumpy map' is introduced to replace the height map. Experimental results demonstrate that the bumpy details produced by the 'bumpy map' are more consistent with the original bumpy texture than by the method of height map.GAO RongHua KONG DeHui YIN BaoCai 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,3:0
