1Carbon-supported Fe/Co-N electrocatalysts synthesized through heat treatment of Fe/Co-doped polypyrrole-polyaniline composites for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘In this paper,we synthesized cathode catalysts(PANI-PPYR,Fe/PANI-PPYR,Co/PANI-PPYR and Fe-Co/PANI-PPYR)with high performance oxygen reduction by using a simple heat treatment process.These catalysts were fabricated by directly calcining the Fe and/or Co doped polyaniline(PANI)-polypyrrole(PPYR)composites.Their electrocatalytic activity for ORR both in acidic and in alkaline media was investigated by voltammetric techniques.Among the prepared catalysts,Co/PANI-PPYR presents the most positive ORR onset potential of 0.62 V(vs.SCE)in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 solution or?0.09 V(vs.SCE)in 1 mol/L NaOH solution.In addition,the Co/PANI-PPYR catalyst shows the largest limiting-diffusion current density for ORR,which is 4.3 mA/cm2@0.2 V(vs.SCE)in acidic and 2.3 mA/cm2@?0.3 V(vs.SCE)in alkaline media.In acidic media,a four-electron reaction of ORR on the Co/PANI-PPYR and Fe/PANI-PPYR catalysts is more dominant than a two-electron reaction.In alkaline media,however,a four-electron and a two-electron mechanisms are co-present for the ORR on all the prepared catalysts.Co/PANI-PPYR catalyst also presents good electrocatalytic activity stability for ORR both in acidic and in alkaline media.YI QingFeng ZHANG YuHui LIU XiaoPing YANG YaHui 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,5:8
2Sonication-assisted dispersion of carbon nanotubes in aqueous solutions of the anionic surfactant SDBS:The role of sonication energy显示文摘Sonication is a powerful technique to promote the dispersion of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and enhance their solubility;this is necessary for CNT applications,especially in the biochemical and biomedical fields.In this study,batch experiments were conducted to evaluate the role of sonication energy on the dispersion of CNTs in the presence of a widely used anionic surfactant,sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(SDBS).It was observed that the concentration of dispersed CNTs in the SDBS solution depended on the sonication energy,but not the sonication time or output power of the sonicator alone.The amount of dispersed CNTs was positively correlated with the concentrations of SDBS and CNTs,and the length of the CNTs.The promotion of oxygen-containing functional groups on the dispersed CNTs was observed at relatively low sonication energies.The optimal energy,i.e.the minimum energy supplied by sonication to achieve a saturated suspension of dispersed CNTs in the SDBS solution,was CNT diameter-dependent,because of the larger vdW forces between tubes of smaller diameter.An exponential decay curve was constructed for the optimal energy values as a function of the outer CNT diameter,to assist in determining the energy needed to disperse CNTs.YANG Kun YI ZiLi JING QingFeng YUE RenLiang JIANG Wei LIN DaoHui 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,18:5
3Multimetallic AuPd@Pd@Pt core-interlayer-shell icosahedral electrocatalysts for highly efficient oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Incorporating Pt with core metals into Pt-based core-shell catalysts is regarded as a promising strategy to substantially enhance the catalytic properties towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) in fuel cells due to the synergetic effect between distinct metals. In this wok, ultrathin Pt skins with two atomic layers were epitaxially coated on as-prepared icosahedral Au_50Pd_50, Au_60Pd_40 and Au_66Pd_34 nanocrystal seeds,which are constructed with alloyed cores and Pd shells with different thickness. Through electron microscopic characterizations, Pd interlayers with tunable thickness of 3, 6, and 12 atomic layers can be found in the Au_66Pd_34@Pt, Au_60 Pd_40@Pt and Au_50Pd_50@Pt icosahedra, respectively. These icosahedral Au Pd@Pd@Pt nanocrystals show substantially enhanced activities and durabilities in electrocatalytic measurements towards ORR compared to Au_75Pd_25@Pt icosahedra without Pd interlayer and commercial Pt/C catalysts. 5Numerical modeling of SiC by low-pressure chemical vapor deposition from methyltrichlorosilane显示文摘The development of functional relationships between the observed deposition rate and the experimental conditions is an important step toward understanding and optimizing low-pressure chemical vapor deposition(LPCVD)or low-pressure chemical vapor infiltration(LPCVI).In the field of ceramic matrix composites(CMCs),methyltrichlorosilane(CH3 SiCl3,MTS)is the most widely used source gas system for SiC,because stoichiometric SiC deposit can be facilitated at 900°C–1300°C.However,the reliability and accuracy of existing numerical models for these processing conditions are rarely reported.In this study,a comprehensive transport model was coupled with gas-phase and surface kinetics.The resulting gas-phase kinetics was confirmed via the measured concentration of gaseous species.The relationship between deposition rate and 24 gaseous species has been effectively evaluated by combining the special superiority of the novel extreme machine learning method and the conventional sticking coefficient method.Surface kinetics were then proposed and shown to reproduce the experimental results.The proposed simulation strategy can be used for different material systems.Kang Guan Yong Gao Qingfeng Zeng Xingang Luan Yi Zhang Laifei Cheng Jianqing Wu Zhenya Lu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,6:3

7Novel nanoporous binary Ag-Ni electrocatalysts for hydrazine oxidation显示文摘From an aqueous mixture of Ag(I)-EDTA complex and Ni(II) nitrate, silver and nickel particles were co-deposited on the surface of titanium substrates by the hydrothermal method using hydrazine hydrate as a reduction agent. The prepared titanium-supported nano-scale Ag and Ag-Ni particles (nano Ag/Ti, nano Ag86Ni14/Ti, nano Ag77Ni23/Ti, and nano Ag74Ni26/Ti) exhibit nanoporous 3D network textures. Their electrocatalytic activity towards hydrazine oxidation in alkaline solutions was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The results show that the four samples present a low onset potential of ca. -0.60 V vs. SCE and considerably high and stable anodic current densities for hydrazine oxidation. 8Novel nanoporous palladium catalyst for electroreduction of hydrogen peroxide显示文摘Titanium-supported nanoporous palladium catalyst(Pd/Ti) was prepared by a hydrothermal method using PdCl2 as a precursor,ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA) as a ligand,and formaldehyde as a reduction agent.Complex Pd-EDTA2-is favorable for the formation of Pd particles with nanoscale sizes.The electroactivity of the Pd/Ti catalyst towards the electroreduction of hydrogen peroxide in 1 mol/L NaOH solution was evaluated by voltammetric techniques.Both linear scan voltammetric and chronoamperometric data present significantly large steady-state reduction current density of the hydrogen peroxide electroreduction on the prepared Pd/Ti catalyst.The results show that the prepared Pd/Ti catalyst is an effective electrocatalyst for the electroreduction of hydrogen peroxide in alkaline media.YI Qingfeng NIU Fengjuan 2011Rare Metals2011,30,4:2

13miR-199-5p regulates spermiogenesis at the posttranscriptional level via targeting Tekt1 in allotriploid crucian carp显示文摘Background:Sperm abnormalities are one of the primary factors leading to male sterility,but their pathogenesis is still unclear.Although miRNAs are suggested to exert important roles in the regulation of spermatogenesis at both transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels,little is currently known regarding the regulation of sperm flagella assembly by microRNAs(miRNAs).The role of miRNAs in the development of sperm abnormalities in sterile triploid fish has not been studied.Results:In this study,we found that miR-199-5p was widely expressed in all detected tissues of different-ploidy crucian carp.As one of the testis-specific candidate markers,Tekt1 was predominantly expressed in the testis.Quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analyses showed that the expression trend of miR-199-5p was exactly opposite to that of Tekt1.Through bioinformatics analysis,we identified a putative miR-199-5p binding site in the Tekt1 mRNA.We further identified Tekt1 as a target of miR-199-5p using luciferase reporter assay.Finally,we confirmed that miR-199-5p was necessary for sperm flagellar assembly and spermatogenesis in vivo via intraperitoneal injection of miR-199-5p antagomir or agomir in diploid red crucian carp.Moreover,miR-199-5p gainof-function could lead to spermatids apoptosis and abnormal spermatozoa structure,which is similar to that of allotriploid crucian carp.Conclusions:Our studies suggested that abnormally elevated miR-199-5p inhibited the sperm flagella formation in spermiogenesis by negatively regulating the expression of Tekt1,thereby causing sperm abnormalities of male allotriploid crucian carp.Shengnan Li Qiubei Wang Lu Huang Siyu Fan Ting Li Yuqing Shu Chun Zhang Yi Zhou Qingfeng Liu Kaikun Luo Min Tao Shaojun Liu 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5:1
14A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation.
