Zeolite diagenesis and its control on petroleum reservoir quality of Permian in northwestern margin of Junggar Basin,China显示文摘Recently, silicate diagenesis has been the focus of many studies because of its impact on porosity and permeability in sedimentary rocks. In the process of diagenetic evolution, the crystallization, cementation, and corrosion of zeolite (as a diagenetic mineral) have different effects on properties of Permian reservoirs in the study area. In the Permian sediments in the northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin, Zeolite minerals have formed during diagenesis in an open hydrologic system, related to the hydration of abundant volcanic glass. Chemical property of groundwater, pH of pore water, cation property and ratios have directly influenced the transformation among various zeolites and the dissolution of zeolite mineral. The main species of zeolite include analcime, heulandite, and laumontite. Transformations of these minerals during diagenesis are: volcanic glass→ clinoptilolite→analcime→heulandite→laumontite. Corrosion of analcime obviously improved reservoir quality. Extensive heulandite cementation developed and intensively reduced reservoir pore spaces. Early zeolite cementation protected pore structure against compaction and provided substance for late dissolution. The dissolution of analcime was closely related with the organic acid recharged by hydrocarbon source rocks and the NaHCO3 type formation water in the Permian, and was sensitive to permeability of rocks. Within the CaCl2 type formation water, heulandite and laumontite were hardly dissolved. In the study area, the belt with dissolved analcime is the area for the development of secondary pores and favorable reservoirs.ZHU ShiFa ZHU XiaoMin WANG XuLong LIU ZhenYu 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,3:27
Boron neutron capture therapy for malignant melanoma: first clinical case report in China显示文摘A phase Ⅰ/Ⅱ clinical trial for treating malignant melanoma by boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) was designed to evaluate whether the world's first in-hospital neutron irradiator(IHNI) was qualified for BNCT. In this clinical trial planning to enroll 30 patients, the first case was treated on August 19, 2014. We present the protocol of this clinical trial, the treating procedure, and the clinical outcome of this first case. Only grade 2 acute radiation injury was observed during the first four weeks after BNCT and the injury healed after treatment. No late radiation injury was found during the 24-month follow-up. Based on positron emission tomography-computed tomography(PET/CT) scan, pathological analysis and gross examination, the patient showed a complete response to BNCT,indicating that BNCT is a potent therapy against malignant melanoma and IHNI has the potential to enable the delivery of BNCT in hospitals.Zhong Yong Zewen Song Yongmao Zhou Tong Liu Zizhu Zhang Yanzhong Zhao Yang Chen Congjun Jin Xiang Chen Jianyun Lu Rui Han Pengzhou Li Xulong Sun Guohui Wang Guangqing Shi Shaihong Zhu 2016Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,6:13
Progress in the stratigraphy and geochronology of the Shuidonggou site,Ningxia,North China显示文摘In the past years we carried out further stratigraphy division in field and it is found that rich stone artifacts can be found in fluvial-shallow lake-alluvial sediments on the terrace Ⅱ of Biangou River, in Shuidonggou site, Ningxia and they are SDG1, 2 and 7. More luminescence and AMS 14C dating in laboratory show that Paleolithic culture develops during the Upper Paleolithic period with ages of 35―20 ka. The Paleolithic culture of SDG 1 is a little earlier than that of SDG 2 similar to SDG 7. The sandy sediments on terrace Ⅱ of Biangou River deposits in the past 72―18 ka, corresponding to Last Glacial. SDG2 has a stable sedimentary environment, resulting in the continuous stratigraphy, thickest deposits and rich environment and culture information, which can be regarded as the important and classic paleoanthropological section of Late Pleistocene in this region.LIU DeCheng WANG XuLong GAO Xing XIA ZhengKai PEI ShuWen CHEN FuYou WANG HuiMing 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,21:13
The fluctuating environment associated with the episodic biotic crisis during the Permo/Triassic transition:Evidence from microbial biomarkers in Changxing,Zhejiang Province显示文摘The environmental conditions and the biotic crisis during the Permo-Triassic (Tr/P) transition received increasing attention in the past decades. Presented herein are the molecular fossil records of cyano-bacteria and green sulfur bacteria, the base of the marine ecosystem,to highlight the episodic nature of both the environment and the biotic crisis during this critical period. At least two episodes of cyano-bacterial expansion are documented by 2-methylhopanes ranging from C28 to C32 in carbon number, indicative of the instable marine ecosystem and the fluctuant aquatic nutrients. Meanwhile, the index of 2-alkyl-1,3,4-trimethylbenzenes (biomarkers of green sulfur bacteria) and the ratio of pristane to phy-tane (Pr/Ph) witness the fluctuation of sedimentary environmental redox conditions. The above mo-lecular evidence suggests the occurrence of highly fluctuating environmental conditions during the Tr/P transition, which is consistent with, and probably the cause of,the multi-phased biotic crisis and the prolonged faunal recovery.HUANG XianYu JIAO Dan LU LiQiang XIE ShuCheng HUANG JunHua WANG YongBiao YIN HongFu WANG HongMei ZHANG KeXin LAI XuLong 2007Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,7:10
Holocene aeolian stratigraphic sequences in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China and their palaeoenvironmental implications显示文摘This paper presents the environmental history and its responses to palaeoclimatic changes since the start of the Holocene in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China by comparing the aeolian sandpalaeosol sequences and their palaeoclimatic proxies. The optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) ages of the aeolian sandpalaeosol sedimentary sequences and a series of palaeoenvironmental proxies show that:(1) The large-scale dune landscape currently in the Kubuqi Sand Sea was formed during the Holocene in general;and the palaeosol was generally developed during the period of 4–2 ka, indicating conditions favorable for vegetation growth, soil development, and organic carbon accumulation due to increased precipitation or effective moisture and weakened aeolian activities;the large-scale expansion of dunes in the recent 2 ka is closely linked to human activities. The variable discharge of the Yellow River with diversions for irrigation may have resulted in a more consistent supply of aeolian particles for dune field expansion.(2) The dune landscape of the Hunshandake Sandy Land was likely formed around 12 ka, and before this, the western part of the Hunshandake Sandy Land would have been covered by a single large lake;it was obviously wetter than today in the sandy land during the period of 9.6–3 ka and the palaeosols were developed at the same time. But the aeolian activities have not been completely dormant in this long-lasting wetter epoch;because the Holocene wetter period was likely time-transgressive across the region.(3) The palaeosol of the Hulunbuir Sandy Land began to develop as early as 14.5 ka, probably continuing until the last 2 ka. The palaeosol development of various dune fields in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China is spatially heterogeneous, and even the palaeosol development time in different locations within each sandy land is inconsistent. During the middle Holocene(especially the 7.5–3.5 ka), all the sandy lands were stabilized in general and the intensity of aeolian activities was significantly weakened. The number of palaeoenvironmental records in the eastern portion of the desert belt(sand seas and sandy lands) in northern China has increased rapidly in the past decade, but the amount of published data still does not match the vast extent of the dune fields. It does require much more in-depth palaeoenvironmental studies for a full understanding of the relationship between aeolian activities and climate change in northern China.Xiaoping YANG Peng LIANG Deguo ZHANG Hongwei LI Patrick RIOUAL Xulong WANG Bing XU Zhibang MA Qianqian LIU Xiaozong REN Fangen HU Yuxin HE Gang RAO Ninghua CHEN 2019Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,8:10
Detection of water in petroleum inclusions and its implications显示文摘FTIR spectra of inclusions sampled from fault-zone reservoirs of the northwestern Junggar Basin show that water, with different abundances, does exist in petroleum inclusions. It is thus implied that petroleum inclusions can seldom form without water. Different inclusions hosted in one single grain, and formed in one oil charging phase, have a largely varied ratio of water to oil and slightly changed CH3/CH2 ratio. This likely provides evidence for fault-related episodic migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons.CAO Jian YAO Suping HU Wenxuan ZHANG Yijie WANG Xulong ZHANG Yueqian TANG Yong 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,12:9
The Relationship between the “Green-Bean Rock” Layers and Conodont Chiosella timorensis and Implications on Defining the Early–Middle Triassic Boundary in the Nanpanjiang Basin, South China显示文摘The Triassic 'Green-bean Rock'(GBR) layers were widely recognized around the Early–Middle Triassic boundary interval in the Nanpanjiang Basin, South China. To determine the precise relationship between the GBR layers and the first appearance datum(FAD) of the conodont Chiosella timorensis, four Lower–Middle Triassic sections from the Nanpanjiang Basin, including the Gaimao, Bianyang II, Zuodeng and Wantou sections have been studied in detail. Detailed conodont biostratigraphy convinces us that there is no exact temporal relationship between the GBR layers and first occurrence of Ch. timorensis. Moreover, the numbers of the GBR layers are different from the place to place within the Nanpanjiang Basin, and the time span of the GBR layers was much longer than previously estimated. Global correlations show that the FAD of Ch. timorensis is contemporaneous basinwide and worldwide and more suitable marker defining the Olenekian-Anisian boundary(Early–Middle Triassic boundary) than any other proxies.Chunbo Yan Haishui Jiang Xulong Lai Yadong Sun Bo Yang Lina Wang 2015Journal of Earth Science2015,26,2:7

A novel none once per revolution blade tip timing based blade vibration parameters identification method显示文摘The vibration caused blade High Cycle Fatigue(HCF)is seriously affects the safety operation of turbomachinery especially for aero-engine.Thus,it is crucial important to identify the blade vibration parameters and then evaluate the dynamic stress amplitude.Blade Tip Timing(BTT)method is one of the promising method to solve these problems. While,it need a high resolution Once Per Revolution(OPR)signal which is difficult to get for the aero-engine.Here,a Coupled Vibration Analysis(CVA)method for identifying blade vibration parameters by a none OPR BTT is proposed. The method assumes that every real blade has its own vibration performance at a given speed.Whereby,it can take any blade as the reference blade, and the other blades using the reference blade as the OPR for vibration displacement calculating and further parameter identifying. The proposed method is validated by numerical model. Also, experimental studies are carried out on a straight blade and a twisted three dimensional blade test rig as well as a large industrial axial compressor respectively. The results show that the proposed method can accurately identify the blade synchronous vibration parameters and quantitatively evaluate the mistuning in bladed disks, which lays a foundation for the reliability improvement of aero-engine.Weimin WANG Xulong ZHANG Dongfang HU Dengpeng ZHANG Paul ALLAIRE 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7:6
PD-L1:expression regulation显示文摘Programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1),expressed on the surface of tumor cells, can bind to programmed cell death-1(PD-1)on T cells. The interaction of PD-1 and PD-L1 can inhibit T-cell responses by decreasing T-cell activity and accelerating their apoptosis.Various cancers express high levels of PD-L1 and exploit PD-L1/PD-1 signaling to evade T-cell immunity, and immunotherapies targeting the PD-1/PD-L1 axis have been shown to exert remarkable anti-tumor effects;however, not all tumor patients benefit from these therapies. Therefore, study of the mechanisms regulating PD-L1 expression are imperative. In this review,we explore regulation of PD-L1 expression in the contexts of gene transcription, signaling pathways, histone modification and remodeling, microRNAs,long noncoding RNAs,and post-translational modification.Current developments in studies of agents that block PD-L1 and correlations between immunotherapies targeting PD-1/PD-L1 and PD-L1 expression are also summarized. Our review will assist in understanding of PD-L1 expression regulation and discusses the implications of reported findings in cancer diagnosis and immunotherapy.Yu-Jie Zhou Guoli Li Jiyin Wang Mengyuan Liu Zihan Wang Yu Song Xulong Zhang Xi Wang 2023Blood Science2023,5,2:3
Formation mechanism of condensates, waxy and heavy oils in the southern margin of Junggar Basin, NW China显示文摘It is a challenge to determine the source and genetic relationship of condensate, waxy and heavy oils in one given complicated petroliferous area, where developed multiple sets of source rocks with different maturity and various chemical features. The central part of southern margin of Junggar Basin, NW China is such an example where there are condensates, light oils, normal density oils, heavy crude oils and natural gases. The formation mechanism of condensates has been seriously debated for long time;however, no study has integrated it with genetic types of waxy and heavy oils. Taking the central part of southern margin of Junggar Basin as a case, this study employs geological and geochemical methods to determine the formation mechanism of condensates, waxy and heavy oils in a complicated petroliferous area, and reveals the causes and geochemical processes of the co-occurrence of different types of crude oils in this region. Based on detailed geochemical analyses of more than 40 normal crude oils, light oils, condensates and heavy oils, it is found that the condensates are dominated by low carbon number n-alkanes and enriched in light naphthenics and aromatic hydrocarbons. Heptane values of these condensates range from 19% to 21%, isoheptane values from1.9 to 2.1, and toluene/n-heptane ratios from 1.5 to 2.0. The distribution of n-alkanes in the condensates presents a mirror image with high density waxy crude oils and heavy oils. Combined with the oil and gas-source correlations of the crude oils, condensates and natural gas, it is found that the condensates are product of evaporative fractionation and/or phase-controlled fractionation of reservoir crude oils which were derived from mature Cretaceous lacustrine source rocks in the relatively early stage. The waxy oils are the intermediate products of evaporative fractionation and/or phase-controlled fractionation of reservoir crude oils, while the heavy oils are in-situ residuals. Therefore, evaporative fractionation and/or phase-controlled fractionation would account for the formation of the condensate, light oil, waxy oil and heavy oil in the central part of southern margin of Junggar Basin, resulting in a great change of the content in terms of light alkanes, naphthenics and aromatics in condensates, followed by great uncertainties of toluene/n-heptane ratios due to migration and re-accumulation. The results suggest that the origin of the condensate cannot be simply concluded by its ratios of toluene/n-heptane and n-heptane/methylcyclohexane on the Thompson's cross-plot, it should be comprehensively determined by the aspects of geological background, thermal history of source rocks and petroleum generation, physical and chemical features of various crude oils and natural gas, vertical and lateral distribution of various crude oils in the study area.CHEN JianPing DENG ChunPing WANG XuLong NI YunYan SUN YongGe ZHAO Zhe LIAO JianDe WANG PeiRong ZHANG DiJia LIANG DiGang 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,5:3
Formation of the Yazi Spring Stream and its significance on tectonics-climate on the northern slope of Kunlun Mountains显示文摘The sequences of fluvial terraces in the Yazi Spring Stream are signs of the stepwise uplift of the Kunlun Mountains in the northern part of the Tibetan Plateau since the Late Pleistocene. Geomorphic and sedimentary features of the terraces reveal that they have resulted from the phased tectonic uplift and the consequent river incision in the northern plateau. Using the method of Single-aliquot Regenerative-dose (SAR) Protocol and Radiocarbon 14C dating, the deposit ages of three-grade terraces were ob- tained, which are 57.5, 12.8 and 5.7 kaBP, respectively. The features and ages of terraces reveal that the incision rate of the stream accelerated at the beginning of the Holocene. The incision rate changed suddenly at 12.8 KaBP, from 0.43±0.07 mm/a to 1.59±0.55 mm/a. This implicates that uplift of the Kunlun Mountains is intensive at the first onset of the Holo- cene, corresponding to the obvious change of slip-rate on the Altyn Tagh Fault. But its uplift rate is much lower than that of the latter, which suggests that growth of the northern mar- gin of the Tibetan Plateau is stronger than its interior.CHANG Hong ZHANG Peizhen AN Zhishen WANG Xulong QIANG Xiaoke FU Chaofeng 2005Chinese Science Bulletin2005,50,18:2
Zn/Sr dual ions-collagen co-assembly hydroxyapatite enhances bone regeneration through procedural osteo-immunomodulation and osteogenesis显示文摘The immune microenvironment induced by biomaterials played vital roles in bone regeneration.Hydroxyapatite(HA)and its ion-substituted derivates represent a large class of core inorganic materials for bone tissue engineering.Although ion substitution was proved to be a potent way to grant HA more biological functions, few studies focused on the immunomodulatory properties of ion-doped HA.Herein,to explore the potential osteoimmunomodulatory effects of ion-doped HA,zinc and strontium co-assembled into HA through a collagen template biomimetic way(ZnSr-Col-HA)was successfully achieved. It was found that ZnSr-Col-HA could induce a favorable osteo-immune microenvironment by stimulating macrophages.Furthermore,ZnSr-Col-HA demonstrated a procedural promoting effect on osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)in vitro.Specifically, the osteo-immune microenvironment acted as a dominant factor in promoting osteogenic gene expressions at the early stage through OSM signal pathway.Whereas the direct stimulating effects on BMSCs by Zn^(2+)/Sr^(2+) were more effectively at the later stage with Nfatc1/Maf and Wnt signals activated. In vivo study confirmed strong promoting effects of ZnSr-Col-HA on critical-sized cranial defect repair. The current study indicated that such a combined biomaterial design philosophy of dual ion-doping and biomimetic molecular co-assembly to endow HA applicable osteoimmunomodulatory characteristics might bring up a new cutting-edge concept for bone regeneration study.Zhenyu Zhong Xiaodan Wu Yifan Wang Mengdie Li Yan Li XuLong Liu Xin Zhang Ziyang Lan Jianglin Wang Yingying Du Shengmin Zhang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:2

Roadian-Wordian(Middle Permian)Conodont Biostratigraphy,Sedimentary Facies and Paleotemperature Evolution at the Shuixiakou Section,Xikou Area,Southeastern Qinling Region,China显示文摘Focusing on the Shuixiakou Section(Xikou area,Zhen’an County,Shaanxi Province, southeastern Qinling region,China),the Roadian-Wordian conodonts are investigated.More than 2000 conodont elements including 6 genera and 14 species have been obtained.Based on these materials, the Guadalupian Jinogondolella nankingensis and J.aserrata zones have been recognized. The Roadian-Wordian boundary is tentatively defined by the first occurrence of J.aserrata in the lower part of UnitⅢin the Shuixiakou Formation. The sedimentary succession of Xikou area records similar sea-level changes to those observed in Laibin area(South China). The 40 m-thick bioclastic limestone of UnitⅣin this section can be correlated with the reefs of Bed 114 in Laibin area.A temperature drop indicated byδ18Oapatite values suggests this Wordian interval coincides with a period of glaciation and global regression.Baojin Wu Hanxiao Li Michael M.Joachimski Paul B.Wignall Haishui Jiang Lina Wang Xianlang Wu Xulong Lai Jiaxin Yan 2021Journal of Earth Science2021,32,3:1
