1In vitro culture and differentiation of rat embryonic midbrain-derived neural stem cells显示文摘BACKGROUND:Midbrain-derived neural stem cells (mNSCs) can differentiate into functional mature dopaminergic neurons. The mNSCs are considered the ideal choice for cell therapy of Parkinson’s disease. OBJECTIVE: To isolate rat embryonic mNSCs and to observe the differentiation characteristics of mNSCs induced by cell growth-promoting factors. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: An in vitro cell culture study based on the molecular biology of nerve cells was carried out at the Institute of Clinical Medicine,China-Japan Friendship Hospital (China) from March to November 2007. MATERIALS: Sprague Dawley rats at embryonic day 14 were used in this study. Nestin antibody,β-Ⅲ tubulin antibody,glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) antibody and cyclic nucleotide 3’-phosphohydrolase (CNPase) antibody were provided by Abcam; DMEM/F12 medium and N2 supplement were provided by In-vitrogen; epidermal growth factor (EGF) and fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF2) were provided by R&D Sys-tems. METHODS: The ventral mesencephalon was dissected from embryonic day 14 rat embryos. By trypsin di-gestion and mechanical separation,the brain tissue was triturated into a fine single-cell suspension. The cells were cultured in 5 mL serum-free medium containing DMEM/F12,1% N2 supplement,20 ng/mL EGF and FGF2. The mNSCs at the third generation were coated with 10 μg/mL polylysine and induced to differenti-ate in the DMEM/F12 supplemented with 1% fetal bovine serum and 1% N2. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The neural spheres of the third passage were identified by nestin im-munofluorescence; at the same time,the cells were induced to differentiate,and the types of differentiated cell were identified by immunofluorescence for βⅢ tubulin,GFAP and CNPase. RESULTS: Seven days after primary culture,a great many neurospheres could be obtained by successive pasage. Immunofluorescence assays showed that the neurospheres were nestin positive,and after differentia-tion,the cells expressed GFAP,CNPase and β-Ⅲ-tubulin. 2Nano-formulations for transdermal drug delivery:A review显示文摘Transdermal drug delivery refers to a means of delivering drugs through the surface of the skin for local or systemic treatment. The drug functions after absorption through the skin into the systemic circulation via capillary action at a certain rate. Use of traditional physical and chemical enhancers to improve the transdermal permeation rate by increasing drug solubility, diffusion coefficient, and reservoir effect is not feasible owing to the toxic side effects of the overuse of chemical penetration enhancers. Nanoformulations generally vary in size and range from 10 nm to 100 nm. The smaller particle size leads to increased drug permeability, stability, retention, and targeting, making nano-formulations suitable for transdermal drug delivery. The different applications of nano-formulations(vesicles or nanoparticles and nanoemulsions) have been widely studied. 3Accuracy improvement of GPS/MEMS-INS integrated navigation system during GPS signal outage for land vehicle navigation显示文摘To improve the reliability and accuracy of the global positioning system (GPS)/micro electromechanical system (MEMS)inertial navigation system (INS) integrated navigation system,this paper proposes two different methods.Based on wavelet threshold denoising and functional coefficient autoregressive (FAR) modeling,a combined data processing method is presented for MEMS inertial sensor,and GPS attitude information is also introduced to improve the estimation accuracy of MEMS inertial sensor errors.Then the positioning accuracy during GPS signal short outage is enhanced.To improve the positioning accuracy when a GPS signal is blocked for long time and solve the problem of the traditional adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) method with poor dynamic adaptation and large calculation amount,a self-constructive ANFIS (SCANFIS) combined with the extended Kalman filter (EKF) is proposed for MEMS-INS errors modeling and predicting.Experimental road test results validate the efficiency of the proposed methods.Honglei Qin Li Cong Xingli Sun 2012Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2012,23,2:13
4Monitoring urban land cover and vegetation change by multi-temporal remote sensing information显示文摘In order to analyze changes in human settlement in Xuzhou city during the past 20 years, changes in land cover and vegetation were investigated based on multi-temporal remote sensing Landsat TM images. We developed a hierarchical classifier system that uses different feature inputs for specific classes and conducted a classification post-processing approach to improve its accuracy. From our statistical analysis of changes in urban land cover from 1987 to 2007, we conclude that built-up land areas have obviously increased, while farmland has seen in a continuous loss due to urban growth and human activities. A NDVI difference approach was used to extract information on changes in vegetation. A false change information elimination approach was developed based on prior knowledge and statistical analysis. The areas of vegetation cover have been in continuous decline over the past 20 years, although some measures have been adopted to protect and maintain urban vegetation. 5Molten salt synthesis of porous carbon and its application in supercapacitors: A review显示文摘Carbon materials have taken an important role in supercapacitor applications due to their outstanding features of large surface area,low price,and stable physicochemical properties.Considerable research efforts have been devoted to the development of novel synthesis strategy for the preparation of porous carbon materials in recent years.In particular,molten salt strategy represents an emerging and promising method,whereby it has shown great potential in achieving tailored production of porous carbon.It has been proved that the molten salt-assisted production of carbon via the direct carbonization of carbonaceous precursors is an effective approach.Furthermore,with the incorporation of electrochemical technology,molten salt synthesis of porous carbon has become flexible and diversiform.Here,this review focuses on the mainstream molten salt synthesis strategies for the production of porous carbon materials,which includes direct molten salt carbonization process,capture and electrochemical conversion of CO_(2)to value-added carbon,electrochemical exfoliation of graphite to graphene-based materials,and electrochemical etching of carbides to new-type carbide-derived carbon materials.The reaction mechanisms and recent advances for these strategies are reviewed and discussed systematically.The morphological and structural properties and capacitive performances of the obtained carbon materials are summarized to reveal their appealing points for supercapacitor applications.Moreover,the opportunities and challenges of the molten salt synthesis strategy for the preparation of carbon materials are also discussed in this review to provide inspiration to the future researches.Zhongya Pang Guangshi Li Xiaolu Xiong Li Ji Qian Xu Xingli Zou Xionggang Lu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:7
6Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime显示文摘Achieving strong coupling between plasmonic oscillators can significantly modulate their intrinsic optical properties.Here,we report the direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer from an Au grating array to an MoS_(2) monolayer in the strong coupling regime between localized surface plasmons(LSPs)and surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs).By means of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy,the measured hot electron transfer time is approximately 40 fs with a maximum external quantum yield of 1.65%.Our results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers,where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an‘energy recycle bin’to reuse the radiative energy of LSPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.Coherent energy exchange between plasmonic modes in the strong coupling regime can further enhance the vertical electric field and promote the transfer of hot electrons between the Au grating and the MoS_(2) monolayer.Our proposed plasmonic strong coupling configuration overcomes the challenge associated with utilizing hot carriers and is instructive in terms of improving the performance of plasmonic opto-electronic devices.Hangyong Shan Ying Yu Xingli Wang Yang Luo Shuai Zu Bowen Du Tianyang Han Bowen Li Yu Li Jiarui Wu Feng Lin Kebin Shi Beng Kang Tay Zheng Liu Xing Zhu Zheyu Fang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:7
7Attenuated phenotypes and analysis of a herpes simplex virus 1strain with partial deletion of the UL7, UL41 and LAT genes显示文摘We previously constructed a herpes simplex virus 1(HSV-1) UL7 mutant virus(M1) and showed that a partial deletion mutation of the UL7 gene led to a lower proliferative rate and an attenuated phenotype. Using the M1 mutant, we further modified the UL41 gene, which encodes another tegument protein, and the latency-associated transcript(LAT) gene. Observations of the resulting mutants with modified UL7 and UL41(M2) or UL7, UL41 and LAT(M3) genes indicated attenuated phenotypes, with lower proliferative ratios in various cells, non-lethal infections in mice and lower viral loads in nervous tissues compared with the wild-type strain. Furthermore, no LAT stable intron could be detected in the trigeminal ganglion of M3-infected animals. The results obtained with the three HSV-1 mutants indicate that the M3 mutant is an attenuated strain with low pathogenicity during both acute and latent infections. 9TECHNOLOGY OF QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS ON VIBRATORY STRESS RELIEF BASED ON ULTRASONIC TIME-OF-ARRIVAL METHOD显示文摘The effect of vibratory stress relief (VSR) is usually evaluated with the indirect method of ob-serving the change of amplitude frequency response characteristics of structures. A new kind of evaluatingmethod of VSR based on the ultrasonic time-of-arrival method (UTM), which can obtain the residual stressdirectly through measuring the propagation time of ultrasonic wave in the material, is presented. At first, theprinciple of the measuring method of residual stress based on UTM is analyzed. Then the measuring systemof the method is described, which is in virtue of ultrasonic flaw detector and high-sampling-rate digitaloscillograph. And a set of calibration system that contains a piece of standard specimen is also introduced.Experimental results prove the relation between the residual stress and the propagation time of ultrasonic inworkpieces. Finally, the measuring and calibration systems are applied in evaluating the effect of VSR. 11Evaluation of coronary plaque and stent deployment by intravascular optical coherence tomography in elderly patients with unstable angina and non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction显示文摘Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of intravascular optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the assessment of plaque characteristics and drug eluting stent deployment quality in the elderly patients with unstable angina (UA) and non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Methods OCT was used in elderly patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions. Fifteen patients, 9 males and 6 females with mean age of 72.6±5.3 years (range 67-92 years) were enrolled in the study. Images were obtained before initial balloon dilatation and following stent deployment. The plaque characteristics before dilation, vessel dissection, tissue prolapse, stent apposition and strut distribution after stent implantation were evaluated. Results Fifteen lesions were selected from 32 angiographic lesions as study lesions for OCT imaging after diagnostic coronary angiography. There were 7 lesions in the left anterior descending artery, 5 lesions in the right coronary artery and 3 lesions in the left circumflex coronary artery. Among them, 12 (80.0%) were lipid-rich plaques, and 10 (66.7%) were vulnerable plaques with fibrous cap thickness 54.2±7.3 μm. Seven ruptured culprit plaques (46.7%) were found; 4 in UA patients and 3 in NSTEMI patients. Tissue prolapse was observed in 11 lesions (73.3%). Irregular stent strut distribution was detected in 8 lesions (53.3%). Vessel dissections were found in 5 lesions (33.3%). Incomplete stent apposition was observed in 3 stents (20%) with mean spacing between the struts and the vessel wall 172±96 mm (range 117-436 mm). Conclusions 1) It is safe and feasible to perform intravascular OCT to differentiate vulnerable coronary plaque and monitor stent deployment in elderly patients with UA and USTEMI. 2) Coronary plaques in elderly patients with UA and USTEMI could be divided into acute ruptured plaque, vulnerable plaque, lipid-rich plaque, and stable plaque. 3) Minor or critical plaque rupture is one of the mechanisms of UA in elderly patients. 4) Present drug eluting stent implantation is complicated with multiple tissue prolapses which are associated with irregular strut distributions. 5) The action and significance of tissue prolapse on acute vessel flow and in-stent thrombus and restenosis need to be further studied.Caiyi LU Shiwen WANG Wei YAN Xingli WU Yuxiao ZHANG Qiao XUE Muyang YAN Peng LIU Rui CHEN Jinyue ZHAI 2007Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2007,4,1:3
12Seasonal and spatial variation in species diversity, abundance, and element accumulation capacities of macroalgae in mangrove forests of Zhanjiang, China显示文摘The objective of this study was to investigate whether there was distinctive seasonal and zonal variation in the species diversity, biomass, and element accumulation capacities of macroalgae in two major intertidal mangrove stand types(Avicennia marina assemblage and Sonneratia apetala assemblage) in the Zhanjiang region of southern China. Over a year, 31 species in 15 genera were identified in both mangrove assemblages, of which the dominant species were Cladophoropsis zollingeri and Enteromorpha clathrat. Macroalgal species were significantly most abundant in spring(p<0.05), followed by summer, winter, and autumn. Variation in the zonal distribution of macroalgal species was conspicuous in both intertidal mangrove assemblages, with the greatest abundance in the middle zone, and the least in the front zone. Patterns in the seasonal and zonal variation in macroalgal biomass in the S. apetala assemblage were similar to those of macroalgal species diversity in both mangrove assemblages. The seasonal patterns in tissue concentrations of 15 analyzed elements were not uniform among the macroalgae C. zollingeri, E. clathrata, and Gracilaria salicornia in the A. marina assemblage. 13Risk factors for the incidence of apoplexy in pituitary adenoma: a single-center study from southwestern China显示文摘Background:Although the incidence and clinical manifestations of pituitary apoplexy were reported by a few researches,the results are not consistent.This study aimed to explore the risk factors associated with an incidence of apoplexy in pituitary adenomas.Methods:The clinical information of 843 patients with pituitary adenoma from the Department of Neurological Surgery,1st Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University,was reviewed.The incidence,clinical manifestation,and potential risk factors for pituitary apoplexy were analyzed by a case-control study.Results:In total,121 patients(14.4%)with macroadenoma were suffered from pituitary apoplexy.Headache,vomiting,and visual impairment are the top 3 symptoms for the pituitary apoplexy.Logistic regression results showed that the hypertension(hypertension vs non-hypertension OR=2.765,95%CI:1.41~5.416),tumor type(negative staining vs.positive staining,OR=1.501,95%CI:1.248~5.235),and tumor size(diameter>2 cm vs.diameter≤2 cm,OR=3.952,95%CI:2.211~7.053)are independent factors associated with pituitary apoplexy.Conclusion:Our results indicate that the risk factors for the incidence of pituitary apoplexy depend mainly on properties of the tumor itself(tumor size and pathologic type)and the blood pressure of patients.Yao Li Yuan Qian Yisheng Qiao Xiaoxiang Chen Jiaotian Xu Chao Zhang Wei Wang Junjun Li Xingli Deng 2020Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2020,6,4:3
14Continuous electrodeposition of silicon and germanium micro/nanowires from their oxides precursors in molten salt显示文摘In recent years,silicon(Si)and germanium(Ge)materials have been considered as promising highperformance anode materials for lithium-ion batteries due to their high theoretical capacities.It is of great importance to design and synthesize micro/nanostructured Si and Ge materials.In this work,we demonstrated that Si,Ge and SiGe micro/nanowires can be continuously synthesized from their oxides precursors through molten salt electrodeposition.The electrochemical synthesis processes have been investigated systematically,and the deposited Si,Ge and SiGe micro/nanowires have been characterized and compared.The results show that the micro/nanostructured Si and Ge materials with tunable morphology can be facilely and continuously produced via molten salt electrodeposition.The electrodeposition process generally includes calcium oxide-assisted dissolution and electrodeposition processes,and the morphologies of the deposited Si and Ge products can be controlled by varying conditions.Si micro/nanowires,Si films,Ge micro/nanowires,and Ge particles can be continuously synthesized in a controlled manner.Xingli Zou Li Ji Zhongya Pang Qian Xu Xionggang Lu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,5:3

16Elasto-plastic analysis of the surrounding rock mass in circular tunnel based on the generalized nonlinear unified strength theory显示文摘The present paper aims to establish a versatile strength theory suitable for elasto-plastic analysis of underground tunnel surrounding rock. In order to analyze the effects of intermediate principal stress and the rock properties on its deformation and failure of rock mass, the generalized nonlinear unified strength theory and elasto-plastic mechanics are used to deduce analytic solution of the radius and stress of tunnel plastic zone and the periphery displacement of tunnel under uniform ground stress field. The results show that: intermediate principal stress coefficient b has significant effect on the plastic range,the magnitude of stress and surrounding rock pressure. 18An integrated strategy towards the facile synthesis of core-shell SiC-derived carbon@N-doped carbon for high-performance supercapacitors显示文摘Porous active core-shell carbon material with excellent synergistic effect has been regarded as a prospective material for supercapacitors.Herein,we report an integrated method for the facile synthesis of carbide-derived carbon(CDC)encapsulated with porous N-doped carbon(CDC@NC)towards highperformance supercapacitors.Polydopamine(PDA)as nitrogen and carbon sources was simply coated on SiC nanospheres to form SiC@PDA,which was then directly transformed into CDC@NC via a onestep molten salt electro-etching/in-situ doping process.The synthesized CDC@NC with hierarchically porous structure has a high specific surface area of 1191 m^(2) g^(-1).The CDC core and NC shell are typical amorphous carbon and more ordered N-doped carbon,respectively.Benefitting from its unique dual porous structures,the CDC@NC demonstrates high specific capacitances of 255 and 193 F g^(-1) at 0.5 and20 A g^(-1),respectively.The reaction mechanism of the electro-etching/in-situ doping process has also been investigated through experimental characterizations and theoretical density functional theory calculations.It is suggested that the molten salt electro-etching/in-situ doping strategy is promising for the synthesis of active core-shell porous carbon materials with synergistic properties for supercapacitors without the need for additional doping/activation processes.Zhongya Pang Guangshi Li Xingli Zou Chenteng Sun Conghui Hu Wei Tang Li Ji Hsien-Yi Hsu Qian Xu Xionggang Lu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:2
