Clinical and genetic findings in a Chinese family with VDR-associated hereditary vitamin D-resistant rickets显示文摘Hereditary vitamin D-resistant rickets(HVDRR) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe rickets, hypocalcemia, hypophosphatemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism, and elevated alkaline phosphatase. This disorder is caused by homogeneous or heterogeneous mutations affecting the function of the vitamin D receptor(VDR),which lead to complete or partial target organ resistance to the action of 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D.A non-consanguineous family of Chinese Han origin with one affected individual demonstrating HVDRR was recruited, with the proband evaluated clinically, biochemically and radiographically. To identify the presence of mutations in the VDR gene, all the exons and exon–intron junctions of the VDR gene from all family members were amplified using PCR and sequenced. The proband showed rickets, progressive alopecia, hypocalcemia, hypophosphatemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism, and elevated alkaline phosphatase. She also suffered from epilepsy, which is rarely seen in patients with HVDRR.Direct sequencing analysis revealed a homozygous missense mutation c.122G4A(p.C41Y) in the VDR gene of the proband, which is located in the first zinc finger of the DNA-binding domain. Both parents had a normal phenotype and were found to be heterozygous for this mutation. We report a Chinese Han family with one individual affected with HVDRR.A homozygous missense mutation c.122G4A(p.C41Y) in the VDR gene was found to be responsible for the patient's syndrome. In contrast to the results of treatment of HVDRR in other patients, our patient responded well to a supplement of oral calcium and a low dose of calcitriol. | Qianqian Pang Xuan Qi Yan Jiang Ou Wang Mei Li Xiaoping Xing Jin Dong Weibo Xia | 2016 | Bone Research2016,4,1: | 9

Changes in sea ice kinematics in the Arctic outflow region and their associations with Arctic Northeast Passage accessibility显示文摘Amplification of climate warming in the Arctic is causing a dramatic retreat of sea ice, which means the Arctic sea routes are becoming increasingly accessible. This study used a satellite-derived sea ice motion product to quantify the kinematic features of sea ice in the Arctic outflow region which specially referred to the Fram Strait and to the north of the Northeast Passage(NEP). An observed trend of increased southward sea ice displacement from the central Arctic to the Fram Strait indicated enhancement of the Transpolar Drift Stream(TDS). In the regions to the north of the NEP, the long-term trend of northward sea ice speed in the Kara sector was +0.04 cm/s per year in spring. A significant statistical relationship was found between the NEP open period and the northward speed of the sea ice to the north of the NEP. The offshore advection of sea ice could account for the opening of sea routes by 33% and 15% in the Kara and Laptev sectors, respectively. The difference in sea level pressure across the TDS,i.e., the Central Arctic Index(CAI), presented more significant correlation than for the Arctic atmospheric Dipole Anomaly index with the open period of the NEP, and the CAI could explain the southward displacement of sea ice toward the Fram Strait by more than 45%. The impact from the summer positive CAI reinforces the thinning and mechanical weakening of the sea ice in the NEP region, which improves the navigability of the NEP. | Dawei Gui Xiaoping Pang Ruibo Lei Xi Zhao Jia Wang | 2019 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,8: | 5
A New Arthropod,Guangweicaris Luo,Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Early Cambrian Guanshan Fauna,Kunming,China显示文摘The Guanshan Fauna is a soft-bodied fauna dominated by arthropods (including trilobites, trilobitoides, Tuzoia, Isoxys, and bradorids) in association with priapulids, brachiopods, anomalocaridids, vetulicoliids, sponges, chancellorids, and echinoderms. This paper reports and describes a new arthropod from the yellowish green mudstone at the lower part of the Wulongqing Formation, Canglangpuan Stage, Lower Cambrian in Kunming, Yunnan, China. The stratigraphic and geographic distribution, classification, fossil preservation, life style of this new arthropod and comparisons with other fossil arthropods are also discussed in details. The discovery and research of the non-mineralized arthropod, Guangweicaris Luo, Fu et Hu gen. nov. from the Guanshan Fauna adds new members to the taxonomic list and provides new information to the evolution of early arthropods. Furthermore, this study would shed new light into the “Cambrian Explosion” and the evolution of early life. | LUO Huilin FU Xiaoping HU Shixue LI Yong HOU Shuguang YOU Ting PANG Jiyuan LIU Qi | 2007 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2007,81,1: | 5
Unification and Harmonization in True Color Image City Map显示文摘True color image city map is a sort of new-style map which combines the high resolution image and map symbols and shows both advantages in visualization. At the same time, the map unification and harmonization should be taken into account dur-ing the design process, since some visual conflicts appear when map symbols overlaid on the true color image. The objective of this research is to explore the rules in the process of true color image city map design based on chromatic and aesthetic knowledge. At the end, taking the Image Atlas of Guangzhou as an example, image color adjustment, road network presentation, and symbol de-signing issues will be discussed in the application. | ZHAO Xi PANG Xiaoping ZHANG Shengli ZHANG Xiang | 2007 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2007,10,1: | 3
Characterization of the unprecedented polynya events north of Greenland in 2017/2018 using remote sensing and reanalysis data显示文摘Based on an ice concentration threshold of 90%,it has been identified that two polynya events occurred in the region north of Greenland during the 2017/2018 ice season. The winter event lasted from February 20 to March 3,2018 and the summer event persisted from August 2 to September 5,2018.The minimum ice concentration derived from Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2(AMSR2)observations was 72%and 65%during the winter and summer events, respectively. The occurrence of both events can be related to strengthened southerly winds associated with an increased east-west zonal surface level air pressure gradient across the north Greenland due to perturbation of mid-troposphere polar vortex. The relatively warm air temperature during the 2017/2018 freezing season in comparison with previous years, together with the occurrence of the winter polynya, formed favourable pre-conditions for ice field fracturing in summer, which promoted the formation of the summer polynya.Diminished southerly winds and increased cover of new ice over the open water were the dominant factors for the disappearance of the winter polynya, whereas increased ice inflow from the north was the primary factor behind the closure of the summer polynya.Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)images were found better suited than AMSR2 observations for quantification of a new ice product during the polynya event because the SAR images have high potential for mapping of different sea ice regimes with finely spatial resolution. The unprecedented polynya events north of Greenland in 2017/2018 are important from the perspective of Arctic sea ice loss because they occurred in a region that could potentially be the last“Arctic sea ice refuge”in future summers. | Ruibo Lei Dawei Gui Zhouli Yuan Xiaoping Pang Ding Tao Mengxi Zhai | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,9: | 3
Evaluation Methods of Profitable Tight Oil Reservoir of Lacustrine Coquina: A Case Study of Da'anzhai Member of Jurassic in the Sichuan Basin显示文摘Based on core observation, cast and fluorescent thin sections,FESEM and ESEM,coquina in Da'anzhai Member of Jurassic in Sichuan Basin were examined systematically.Together with production data and logging evaluation,a method for lacustrine coquina evaluation based on geological theory was established up.In the article, two aspects of the study were elaborated, characteristics of favorable reservoirs, and a'five-step'evaluation method for favorable coquina reservoir.According to the correlation between porosity and production data, porosity is not effective in finding high quality coquina reservoir of this area.Whereas micro research of reservoir samples from a high productivity well revealed that sparry coquina is the best lithofacies, with the most developed micro storage space of various kinds. After the favorable reservoir was sorted out,a five-step method evaluating the coquina reservoir was worked out.Correlation ofGR value and rock types suggests that GR<30 API is an effective evaluation parameter in identifying profitable reservoir lithofacies.Meanwhile, the combination of profitable reservoir rock thickness and production data revealed that the reservoirs with the highest potentiality are those with thickness of 3-18 m.Fractures are more developed in faults, folds and structural noses in the study area.Organic acid is discharged massively before the peak of hydrocarbon generation, leading to the formation of dissolution pores in the reservoir. The evaluation of organic acid was made by using the source rock indexes. After evaluating the four factors, and compiling their distribution maps, the maps were overlapped to predict favorable reservoir zones, and 7 first class and 9 second class favorable zones of coquina were picked out. | PANG Zhenglian TAO Shizhen ZHANG Qin ZHANG Bin ZHANG Tianshu YANG Xiaoping WU Yinye FAN Jianwei YUAN Miao | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,2: | 2

Daily sea ice concentration product based on brightness temperature data of FY-3D MWRI in the Arctic显示文摘A daily sea ice concentration(SIC)product in the Arctic, derived from the brightness temperature(TB)data of the Microwave Radiation Imager(MWRI)sensor aboard on the FY-3D satellite,is described in this paper. The MWRI TB raw swath data were first processed into daily gridded data and then corrected using the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2(AMSR2)sensor.An ASI algorithm, which uses daily dynamic tie points, was adopted to calculate daily SIC at 12.5 km polar stereographic projection from January 2018 to June 2020.Our generated MWRI SIC product was compared with the AMSR2 SIC based on the ASI algorithm that uses fixed tie points. For more detailed comparison,we then compared our MWRI SIC with the SIC from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)data. The mean bias between our MWRI SIC and AMSR2 SIC is 4.24%.The absolute values of biases between the daily MWRI SIC and MODIS SIC range from 0.14%to 10.76%,better than the MWRI SIC product based on the NT2 algorithm published by the Chinese National Satellite Meteorological Center. The results show that our MWRI SIC product has a good quality and can be used as a basic dataset for sea ice extent records. The dataset is available at http://gffzze4f4599d7a764a8fhqnvoxq9cv9fp6fbw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/10.11922/sciencedb.00137. | Ying Chen Xi Zhao Xiaoping Pang Qing Ji | 2022 | Big Earth Data2022,6,2: | 1

Achieving stable K-storage performance of carbon sphere-confined Sb via electrolyte regulation显示文摘Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)have been considered as one of the most promising alternatives to lithiumion batteries(LIBs)in view of their competitive energy density with significantly reduced product cost.Moreover,alloy-type materials are expected as a high-performance anode of PIBs thanks to their intrinsic chemical stability as well as high theoretical specific capacity.Unfortunately, the serious incompatibility between alloy-type active materials and electrolytes, especially for the formation of unstable solidelectrolyte interfacial(SEI)films, often leads to insufficient cycle life.Herein, the formation mechanism of SEI films in the K-storage systems based on carbon sphere confined Sb anode(Sb@CS)were investigated in commercially available electrolytes.Physical characterizations and theoretical calculation revealed that the solvents in the dilute electrolyte of 0.8 M KPF_(6)/EC+DEC were excessively decomposed on the interface to generate unstable SEI and thus result in inferior K-storage stability. On the contrary,a salt-concentrated electrolyte(3 M KFSI/DME)can generate inorganic-dominated stable SEI due to the preferential decomposition of anions. As a result, the prepared Sb@CS in the matched 3 M KFSI/DME electrolyte delivered a high reversible capacity of 467.8 m A h g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 100 m A g^(-1),with a slow capacity decay of 0.19%per cycle from the 10th to the 100th cycle. These findings are of great significance for revealing the interfacial reaction between electrodes and electrolytes as well as improving the stability of Sb-based anode materials for PIBs. | Ningning Chen Nailu Shen Xiaoping Yi Yinshuang Pang Jing Zheng Qingxue Lai Yanyu Liang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1: | 1

Evaluation of the relationships and uncertainties of airborne and ground-based sea ice surface temperature measurements against remotely sensed temperature records显示文摘Sea ice surface temperature(IST)is an important indicator of environmental changes in the Arctic Ocean. In this study, the relative performance of four mainstream IST records,i.e.airborne IST,infrared radiometer measured IST(IR IST),longwave radiation derived IST(LWR IST),and snow and ice mass balance array buoy derived IST(Buoy IST),were evaluated against the MODIS IST product.Bias, standard deviation(STD),and root mean square error(RMSE)were used to evaluate the data quality. Results revealed that airborne IST had the best accuracy, which was 0.21 K colder than MODIS IST,with STD of 1.46 K and RMSE of 1.47 K.Ground-based ISTs were biased with each other but all warmer than the MODIS IST.The IR IST had the best overall accuracy(bias=0.55 K;STD=1.52 K;RMSE=1.61 K),while the LWR IST was the noisiest measurement with the largest outlier data percent.Besides,co-located IR and LWR ISTs were more consistent than any type of evaluated IST against MODIS IST(correlation coefficient=0.99).Airborne and IR ISTs are thus the premier choice for monitoring the rapidly changing Arctic sea ice, together with satellite observations. | Pei Fan Xi Zhao Meng Qu Zhongnan Yan Ying Chen Zeyu Liang Xiaoping Pang | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 0
Retrieval of snow depth on Antarctic sea ice from the FY-3D MWRI data显示文摘The snow depth on sea ice is an extremely critical part of the cryosphere.Monitoring and understanding changes of snow depth on Antarctic sea ice is beneficial for research on sea ice and global climate change. The Microwave Radiation Imager(MWRI)sensor aboard the Chinese FengYun-3D(FY-3D)satellite has great potential for obtaining information of the spatial and temporal distribution of snow depth on the sea ice.By comparing in-situ snow depth measurements during the 35th Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE-35),we took advantage of the combination of multiple gradient ratio(GR(36V,10V)and GR(36V,18V))derived from the measured brightness temperature of FY-3D MWRI to estimate the snow depth. This method could simultaneously introduce the advantages of high and low GR in the snow depth retrieval model and perform well in both deep and shallow snow layers.Based on this,we constructed a novel model to retrieve the FY-3D MWRI snow depth on Antarctic sea ice.The new model validated by the ship-based observational snow depth data from CHINARE-35 and the snow depth measured by snow buoys from the Alfred Wegener Institute(AWI)suggest that the model proposed in this study performs better than traditional models, with root mean square deviations(RMSDs)of 8.59 cm and 7.71 cm,respectively.A comparison with the snow depth measured from Operation IceBridge(OIB)project indicates that FY-3D MWRI snow depth was more accurate than the released snow depth product from the U.S.National Snow and Ice Data Center(NSIDC)and the National Tibetan Plateau Data Center(NTPDC).The spatial distribution of the snow depth from FY-3D MWRI agrees basically with that from ICESat-2;this demonstrates its reliability for estimating Antarctic snow depth, and thus has great potential for understanding snow depth variations on Antarctic sea ice in the context of global climate change. | Zhongnan Yan Xiaoping Pang Qing Ji Yizhuo Chen Chongxin Luo Pei Fan Zeyu Liang | 2023 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,12: | 0
Reservoir micro structure of Da'anzhai Member of Jurassic and its petroleum significance in Central Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘Based on the qualitative study of microscopic reservoir features using core analysis, cast and fluorescence thin sections inspection, scanning electron microscope(SEM)and field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM)and quantitative examination of pore size and geometry using mercury injection,nano-CT and nitrogen adsorption, reservoir rock of Da’anzhai Member were divided into 9 types, while storage spaces were divided into 4 types and 14 sub-types.The study shows that sparry coquina is the most promising reservoir type.Pores that smaller than 1μm in diameter contribute 91.27%of storage space volume. Most of them exhibit slot-like geometry with good connectivity.By building up storage space models,it was revealed that micron scale storage spaces mainly composed of fractures and nanometer scale pores and fractures form multi-scale dual porosity system.Low resource abundance, small single well controlled reserve, and low production are related to the nano-scale pore space in Da’anzhai Memer, whereas the dual-porosity system composed of pores and fractures makes for long-term oil yield.Due to the existence of abundant slot-like pore space and fractures, economic tight oil production was achieved without stimulations. | PANG Zhenglian TAO Shizhen ZHANG Qin YANG Jiajing ZHANG Tianshu YANG Xiaoping FAN Jianwei HUANG Dong WEI Tengqiang | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,1: | 0
