| 1 | Decolorization on Indigo Dyeing Wastewater by Laccase from Coriolus versicolor显示文摘[Object]The study aimed to discuss the decolorization on indigo dyeing wastewater by laccase from Coriolus versicolor.[Method]Firstly,the effects of temperature,pH,indigo concentration,HBT concentration,laccase dosage on the decolorization of indigo dyeing wastewater by laccase /HBT,and then the synergism of laccase and acid cellulase was analyzed.[Result]Using ABTS as the substrate,the kinetic parameters,K m and V max,were 0.318 mmol/L and 0.035 5 mmol/(L·min) respectively.The decolorization rate of indigo reached 96.5% when the laccase acted on indigo for 40 min with HBT as an introducer at temperature 50 ℃,pH =4.5,indigo concentration 100 mg /L,HBT concentration 0.1% and laccase dosage 100 IU /L.Due to the synergism of laccase and acid cellulase during the bio-finishing of blue jeans,the backstaining degree of blue jeans reduced by 85% when the amount of laccase added was 15 000 IU /kg.Menawhile,the synergism of the laccase and acid cellulase decreased indigo concentration in wastewater by 83.8%.[Conclusion] The laccase from Coriolus versicolor had a good prospect in the bio-finishing of blue jeans and the decolorization of indigo dyeing wastewater. | Enli Gao Weijia Zhong Xiaolan Fu Fushan Chen Zhigang Ye | 2013 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2013,4,1: | 10 |

| 3 | Metal Sealing Performance of Subsea X-tree Wellhead Connector Sealer显示文摘The metal sealing performance of subsea X-tree wellhead connectors is crucial for the safety and reliability of subsea X-trees. In order to establish the theoretical relation between metal sealing ring's contact stress and its structural parameters and working pressure, a mechanical analysis method for double-cone sealing of high pressure vessels is applied in analyzing the metal sealing ring under the condition of preload and operation. As a result, the formula of the unit sealing load for the metal sealing ring under operation with residual preload is shown in this paper, which ensures that the metal sealing ring has an excellent sealing effect and can prevent the metal sealing ring from yielding. Besides, while analyzing the sealing process of the metal sealing ring, the change rule of contact stress and working pressure is concluded here, putting forward that the structural parameters of the metal sealing ring are the major factors affecting the change rule. Finally, the analytical solution through theoretical analysis is compared with the simulation result through finite element analysis in a force feedback experiment, and both are consistent with each other, which fully verifies for the design and calculation theory on metal sealing ring's contact stress and its structural parameters and working pressure deduced in this paper. | 5 | Levels of synthetic musk fragrances in human milk from three cities in the Yangtze River Delta in Eastern China显示文摘Synthetic musks are used as additives in many household products.After absorption into the human body,they accumulate and their concentrations in human milk reflect both the mother and her infant's exposure level.Concentrations of four synthetic musks,musk xylene(1-tert-butyl-2,6-dimethyl-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene,MX),musk ketone(4-tert-butyl-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dinitroacetophenone,MK),1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-4,6,6,7,8,8-hexamethylcyclopenta[γ]-2-benzopyran(HHCB) and 7-acetyl-1,1,3,4,4,6-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4tetrahydronaphthalene(AHTN),were determined in human milk samples collected from Shanghai,Wuxi,and Shaoxing in Eastern China.The four synthetic musks were found in most samples analyzed,with HHCB the dominant component followed by MX.The median(mean) values for HHCB,AHTN,MX and MK concentrations were 63(82),5(12),17(24) and 4(9) ng/g lipid weight,respectively.These data suggested the total synthetic musk contamination was low,and the distribution percentage was HHCB > MX > AHTN ≈ MK.The relative high ratio of nitro to polycylic musk indicated that nitro musks were still widely used.The musk concentrations in these cities were not significantly different from each other(p > 0.05).Principal components score plots were obtained,which showed similar exposure sources.The amount of total synthetic musks in human milk were not associated with mother's age,although HHCB was significantly correlated with AHTN(p < 0.05).Daily ingestion of HHCB,AHTN,MX and MK for infants from human milk were estimated as(2526 ± 2926),(370 ± 524),(7391 ± 832),and(277 ± 462) ng/day,respectively.Those doses were 1-2 orders of magnitude below the provisional tolerable daily intakes. | Xiaolan Zhang Gaofeng Liang Xiangying Zeng Jing Zhou Guoying Sheng Jiamo Fu | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,6: | 8 |

The contribution of this paper is of two folds. Firstly, we present a systematic review on psychological and neurophysiological studies, which provide collective evidence for a distributed representation of 3D objects in the human brain. Secondly, we present a computational model which simulates the distributed mechanism of object vision pathway. | 8 | Comparison of human face matching behavior and computational image similarity measure显示文摘Computational similarity measures have been evaluated in a variety of ways,but few of the validated computational measures are based on a high-level,cognitive criterion of objective similarity. In this paper,we evaluate two popular objective similarity measures by comparing them with face matching performance in human observers. The results suggest that these measures are still limited in predicting human behavior,especially in rejection behavior,but objective measure taking advantage of global and local face characteristics may improve the prediction. | 9 | The specific contribution of object's origin on artifacts categorization显示文摘Gelman and Bloom found that adults and children's object naming was sensitive to how an object was created (man-made or not), but they did not reveal on which specific level of conceptual system this effect was. Using a free-naming task and a force-choice task, two experiments were conducted to test a hypothesis that this effect was specifically on domain level ('artifact/non-artifact' distinction). In Experiment 1, participants were asked to name shortly-depicted objects, rate their confidence, and report their reasons for each naming response. Results showed that most of the naming responses in 'man-made' condition were in artifact domain, and most in 'natural' condition were in non-artifact domain, although in both conditions names were very divergent on basic level. In Experiment 2, another group of participants were asked to choose one from two names (one in artifact domain and the other in non-artifact domain) to match the same shortly-depicted objects presented in the first experiment. Re-sults of Experiment 1 on domain level were replicated in Experiment 2. These convergent findings supported the hypothesis that the effect of object's origin is specifically on domain level of conceptual system of objects. Reasons explicitly reported for naming responses in Experiment 1 suggested that participants might automatically infer objects' functions in 'man-made' condition but not in 'natural' condition. | 10 | Depression and stress levels increase risk of liver cancer through epigenetic downregulation of hypocretin显示文摘Recent studies suggest that Hypocretin (HCRT, Orexin) are involved in stress regulation of depression through the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. However, the molecular mechanism by which Hypocretin regulate neurobiological responses is unknown. Herein, the effects of chronic stress on the epigenetic modification of HCRT and its association with depression were explored with regard to a potential role in cancer progression. In the study, Sprague Dawley (SD) rats were used to establish an animal model of cancer with depression by administrating n-nitrosodiethylamine (DEN) and chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS). RNA-sequencing was used to detect differentially expressed genes in the hippocampus of rats and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to validate the results of RNA-sequencing. The status of HCRT promoter methylation was assessed by methylation specific polymerase chain reaction. Behavioral tests showed that rats exposed to CUMS had significant depressive-like behaviors. The number of liver tumors and tumor load in depressed rats exposed to CUMS was higher than in SD rats without CUMS. RNA-sequencing revealed that HCRT was one of the most siginificantly downregulated gene in the hippocampus of SD rats with CUMS compared to non-stressed group, which was validated by qRT-PCR. HCRT mRNA expression was downregulated and the promoter for HCRT was hyper-methylated in those with depression. These results identified a critical role for chronic psychological stressors in tumorigenesis and cancer progression, via epigenetic HCRT downregulation.
