1Numerical simulation and experimental study on electrothermal properties of carbon/glass fiber hybrid textile reinforced concrete显示文摘Carbon/glass fiber hybrid textile reinforced concrete is a relatively new composite material with good mechanical capacity and excellent electrical conductivity.Both small-scale slab heating experiments and numerical simulation are presented in this paper.Temperature variation curves obtained during heating indicate the effects of environmental temperature,heat-conducting layer thickness and electric heating power.Comparison of temperature rising between the situations with and without thermal isolation layer is given as well.The results indicate that the textile can form a good conductive heating network and generate enough heat to raise the temperature in the concrete when connected to a power supply,while the resistance of the slab remains stable during the heating.Numerical results are in good accordance with the experiments.Real time snow-melting experiment was conducted to verify the feasibility of deicing.The electrothermal properties of textile can be utilized for deicing and snow melting in a safe,environmentally friendly and efficient way.XU ShiLang YU WenTing SONG ShiDe 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,9:8
2Solid Acid Used as Highly Efficient Catalyst for Esterification of Free Fatty Acids with Alcohols显示文摘Anovel solid acid catalyst, which was prepared from sodium alginate (SA) and metal chlorides and characterized with XRD and FT-IR spectrometry, was used for the preparation of biodiesel via esterification reaction. The study results showed that the aluminum-alginate complex prepared in a cheap and easy way exhibited high catalytic activity, and a 92.6% conversion of methyl oleate was obtained in the presence of 4m% of catalyst dosage upon refluxing for 3h of methanol and acid mixed in a molar ratio of 10:1. 4Fish transplantation and stress-related biomarkers as useful tools for assessing water quality显示文摘The active biomonitoring (ABM) approach was investigated using species of indigenous (from a pristine site) and transplanted (to a polluted area) fish Carassius auratus as an indicator organism of water/sediment pollution in Taihu Lake, a highly urbanized and industrialized area. The biotransformation enzymes 7-ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase (EROD), reduced glutathione (GSH) content, catalase activities (CAT) and lipoperoxidation (as MDA) in liver were determined as stress-related biomarkers during the field exposure period. At the same time, the contents of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and heavy metals in the surface sediments of biomonitoring sites were also determined. The results indicate that the in situ exposed organisms were stressed. The marked increases of EROD, GSH, CAT and MDA in transplanted animals, suggested their potential application as biomarkers in pollution monitoring. 5Therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘The time window in which a drug is effective varies between drugs. The present study investigated the therapeutic window of Qingkailing injection for focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in mice. Animals underwent middle cerebral artery occlusion and were injected with Qingkailing (1.5, 3, 6 mL/kg). Infarct volume and neurological function were assessed after 24 hours of ischemia. In addition, to establish the therapeutic time window, mice were injected with 3 mL/kg Qingkailing at 0, 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12 hours after occlusion. 6Estrogenic effects of water from the Yangtze River (Nanjing section) on goldfish (Carassius auratus) after an early life stage exposure显示文摘Effects of river water from the Yangtze River (Nanjing section) on fish development, vitellogenin (VTG) induction, gonado-somatic index (GSI) and sex ratio were investigated by exposing goldfish (Carassius auratus) in the early life stage (from fertilization to 28 days post-hatch) to water samples (25%, 50% and 100%) collected from three representative sections. The results showed that there was no significant effect on hatching success for any of the exposure groups, but survival was significantly reduced when compared with the control (P < 0.05). Body lengths, weights of all treated fish did not differ significantly from those of the control. Condition factors (CF) of larval fish exposed to 50% and 100% river water from the Jiangxinzhou section and 100% river water from the Daqiao section were significantly lower than that of the control (P< 0.05). VTG inductions were significant in larval fish exposed to all the dilution series of river water. No significant difference in CF value was observed in any exposure group after 150 days of depuration. VTG was fully eliminated after 75 days of depuration. For both female and male, GSI did not significantly differ between exposure groups and the control after 150 days of convalescence. The highest female:male ratios were observed in response to the treatment with 50% or 100% river water from the Jiangxinzhou section and 100% river water from the Daqiao section (53:47, 56:44 and 54:46, respectively), but no significant difference in sex ratio was observed in any treated group when compared to the control. 10Optimization of the Swept Volume Ratio between the Compressor and the Active Displacer in an Efficient 20 K Thermal-Coupled Two-Stage Pulse Tube Cryocooler显示文摘As an important component of the stirling-type pulse tube cryocooler(SPTC),an efficient phase shifter can significantly improve the cooling capacity.Compared to the common phase shifter,the active warm displacer(AWD)has a wider phase adjustment range and therefore can obtain a better phase relationship easily.Based on a two-stage thermal-coupled SPTC operating in the 20 K range,this paper studied the influence of the swept volume ratio between the compressor and displacer.The research found that the swept volume ratio changes the cooling capacity and efficiency of the cryocooler mainly by changing the phase difference between the pressure wave and the volume flow at the cold end.It was found from the results of the simulation and experiments that there is an optimal displacement of the displacer(Xd)of 2.5 mm and an optimal phase angle of 15°to obtain the highest cooling efficiency while the displacement of the compressor is constant.The cooling capacity at 20 K is 1.3 W while the input electrical power of the second stage compressor is 202 W,which indicates an overall relative Carnot efficiency(rCOP)of 0.055 in terms of input electrical power.In addition,due to the reasonable setting of precooling temperature and capacity,the swept volume ratio and phase at the maximum cooling capacity and maximum efficiency are consistent in this study.The research improves the understanding of phase shifters and has guiding significance for the optimization of the SPTC working below 20 K.YIN Wang LIU Shaoshuai SONG Jiantang WU Wenting HUI Hejun JIANG Zhenhua LI Nanxi ZHU Haifeng WU Yinong 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,6:0

13Fungal community structure analysis of peanut pod rot in soil in Hebei Province,China显示文摘In recent years,peanut yield and quality are more seriously affected by pod rot disease in China.However,managing this disease has proven challenging due to the wide host range of its pathogens.In this study,four soil samples were collected from fields with pod rot disease in Hebei Province,and 454 pyrosequencing was used to analyze the fungal communities structure within them.All 38490 ITS high-quality sequences were grouped into 1203 operational taxonomic units,the fungal community diversity of four soil samples was evaluated and compared using Shannon index and Simpson index.The results showed that members of Ascomycota were dominant,followed by Basidiomycota.According to the BLAST results at the species level,Guehomyces had the highest abundance,accounting for about 7.27%,followed by Alternaria,Fusarium,and Davidiella.The relative abundance of Fusarium oxysporum isolated from rotting peanuts in soil with peanut rot was higher than that in the control,indicating that Fusarium oxysporum might be one of the main pathogenic fungus of peanut rot in this area.This study delved into the broader fungal community associated with peanut pod rot,providing a theoretical foundation for preventing and treating this disease in agriculture.Lifei Zhu Chushu Zhang Yueyi Tang Haixiang Zhou Wenting Wang Mian Wang Qiang Yu Furong Song Jiancheng Zhang 2023Oil Crop Science2023,8,2:0

16The construction of high precision geostrophic currents based on new gravity models of GOCE and satellite altimetry data显示文摘The new gravity field models of gravity field and steady-state ocean circulation explorer(GOCE),TIM_R6 and DIR_R6,were released by the European Space Agency(ESA)in June 2019.The sixth generation of gravity models have the highest possible signal and lowest error levels compared with other GOCE-only gravity models,and the accuracy is significantly improved.This is an opportunity to build high precision geostrophic currents.The mean dynamic topography and geostrophic currents have been calculated by the 5th(TIM_R5 and DIR_R5),6th(TIM_R6 and DIR_R6)release of GOCE gravity field models and ITSG-Grace2018 of GRACE gravity field model in this study.By comparison with the drifter results,the optimal filtering lengths of them have been obtained(for DIR_R5,DIR_R6,TIM_R5 and TIM_R6 models are 1°and for ITSG-Grace2018 model is 1.1°).The filtered results show that the geostrophic currents obtained by the GOCE gravity field models can better reflect detailed characteristics of ocean currents.The total geostrophic speed based on the TIM_R6 model is similar to the result of the DIR_R6 model with standard deviation(STD)of 0.320 m/s and 0.321 m/s,respectively.The STD of the total velocities are 0.333 m/s and 0.325 m/s for DIR_R5 and TIM_R5.When compared with ITSG-Grace2018 results,the STD(0.344 m/s)of total geostrophic speeds is larger than GOCE results,and the accuracy of geostrophic currents obtained by ITSG-Grace2018 is lower.And the absolute errors are mainly distributed in the areas with faster speeds,such as the Antarctic circumpolar circulation,equatorial region,Kuroshio and Gulf Stream areas.After the remove-restore technique was applied to TIM_R6 MDT,the STD of total geostrophic speeds dropped to 0.162 m/s.Wenyan Sui Junru Guo Jun Song Zhiliang Liu Meng Wang Xibin Li Yanzhao Fu Yongquan Li Yu Cai Linhui Wang Lingli Li Xiaofang Guo Wenting Zuo 2021Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3:0
17miR-335-5p regulates the proliferation,migration and phenotypic switching of vascular smooth muscle cells in aortic dissection by directly regulating SP1显示文摘Uncontrolled proliferation,migration and phenotypic switching of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)are important steps in the development and progression of aortic dissection(AD).The function and potential mechanism of miR-335-5p in the pathogenesis of AD are explored in this study.Specifically,the biological function of miR-335-5p is explored in vitro through CCK-8,Transwell,immunofluorescence,EdU,wound-healing,RT-qPCR and western blotting assays.In addition,an AD model induced by angiotensin II is used to investigate the function of miR-335-5p in vivo.A dual-luciferase assay is performed to verify the targeting relationship between miR-335-5p and specificity protein 1(SP1).Experiments involving the loss of SP1 function are performed to demonstrate the function of SP1 in the miR-335-5p-mediated regulation of human aortic-VSMCs(HA-VSMCs).AD tissues and platelet-derived growth factor BB(PDGF-BB)-stimulated HA-VSMCs show significant downregulation of miR-335-5p expression and upregulated SP1 expression.Overexpression of miR-335-5p effectively suppresses cell proliferation,migration and synthetic phenotype markers and enhances contractile phenotype markers induced by PDGF-BB treatment.Additionally,SP1 is identified as a target gene downstream of miR-335-5p,and its expression is negatively correlated with miR-335-5p in AD.Upregulation of SP1 partially reverses the inhibitory effect of miR-335-5p on HA-VSMCs,whereas the downregulation of SP1 has the opposite effect.Furthermore,Ad-miR-335-5p clearly suppresses aorta dilatation and vascular media degeneration in the AD model.Our results suggest that miR-335-5p inhibits HA-VSMC proliferation,migration and phenotypic switching by negatively regulating SP1,and indicate that miR-335-5p may be a potential therapeutic target in AD.Runwei Ma Dayong Zhang Yi Song Jichang Kong Chunjie Mu Pin Shen Wenting Gui 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7:0

20Biologic basis of TCM syndromes and the standardization of syndrome classification显示文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome is an integral and essential component of TCM theory,and goes beyond philosophic concepts.This article reviews the concept of TCM syndromes and summarizes research findings on the biologic foundation of syndromes.In addition,insight is provided into the promotion of standardization of syndrome classification by enforcing uniformity of TCM terminology,applying standardized diagnostic criteria and operating procedures to minimize subjective effects.Also incorporating interdisciplinary approaches such as data mining and structure modeling,as well as integrating findings on biomarker research are discussed.Consideration is made of the fundamental TCM aspects of syndrome elements,symptoms,phenotypic features,as well as diseases,to form an integral process in the diagnostic path.We believe that better understanding of the biologic basis of the TCM syndrome and standardization of syndrome classification will improve diagnosis,which in turn will enhance therapeutic efficacy and disease prognosis.Fafeng Cheng Xueqian Wang Wenting Song Yi Lu Xiaoli Li Hanrui Zhang Qingguo Wang 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2014,1,2:0
