Advances in fabrication of ceramic corundum abrasives based on sol–gel process显示文摘Corundum abrasives with good chemical stability can be fabricated into various free abrasives and bonded abrasive tools that are widely used in the precision machining of various parts. However, these abrasives cannot satisfy the machining requirements of difficult-to-machine materials with high hardness, high strength, and strong wearing resistance.Although superhard abrasives can machine the above-mentioned materials, their dressing and manufacturing costs are high.By contrast, ceramic corundum abrasives fabricated by sol–gel method is a costeffective product between conventional and superhard abrasives.Ceramic corundum abrasives exhibit self-sharpening and high toughness. In this review, the optimization methods of ceramic corundum abrasive properties are introduced from three aspects:precursor synthesis, particle shaping, and sintering.Firstly, the functional mechanism of seeds and additives on the microstructural and mechanical properties of abrasives is analyzed.Specifically, seeds can reduce the phase transition temperature and improve fracture toughness. The grain size and uniformly dense structure can be controlled by applying an appropriate amount of multicomponent additives. Then, the urgent need of engineering application and machinability of special shape ceramic corundum abrasives is reviewed, and three methods of abrasive shaping are summarized. The micromold replication technique is highly advanced and can be used to prepare functional abrasives.Additionally, the influence of a new sintering method,namely,two-step sintering technique,on the microstructural and mechanical performance of ceramic corundum abrasives is summarized. Finally, the challenge and developmental trend of the optimization of ceramic corundum abrasives are prospected.Baoteng HUANG Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Wenfeng DING Min YANG Yuying YANG Han ZHAI Xuefeng XU Dazhong WANG Sujan DEBNATH Muhammad JAMIL Hao Nan Li Hafiz Muhammad ALI Munish Kumar GUPTA Zafar SAID 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6:11
Fabrication of Flexible Transparent Conductive Films with Silver Nanowire by Vacuum Filtration and PET Mold Transfer显示文摘The flexible transparent conductive films(FTCFs) of silver nanowire-polyethylene terephthalate(AgNWPET) were prepared by a facile method including vacuum filtration and mold transferring. The effect of silver nanowire weight density on the optical and electrical properties of films,as well as the electrical percolation was investigated. The obtained typical AgNW-PET film exhibited high figure of merit of31.3×10^(-3)Ω^(-1) with low sheet resistance of 4.95 Ω sq^(-1) and high transparency at 550 nm of 83.0%(excluding PET substrate). The resulting FTCFs based on PET substrate with high transmittance and low sheet resistance have a great potential in the application of high-performance flexible electronics and photovoltaic devices.Wei Xu Qingsong xu Qijin Huang Ruiqin Tan Wenfeng Shen Weijie Song 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,2:8
Grinding behavior and surface appearance of(TiC_p+ TiB_w)/Ti-6Al-4V titanium matrix composites显示文摘(TiCp+ TiBw)/Ti-6Al-4V titanium matrix composites(PTMCs) have broad application prospects in the aviation and nuclear field. However, it is a typical difficult-to-cut material due to high hardness of the reinforcements, high strength and low thermal conductivity of Ti-6Al-4V alloy matrix. Grinding experiments with vitrified CBN wheels were conducted to analyze comparatively the grinding performance of PTMCs and Ti-6Al-4V alloy. Grinding force and force ratios, specific grinding energy, grinding temperature, surface roughness, ground surface appearance were discussed. The results show that the normal grinding force and the force ratios of PTMCs are much larger than that of Ti-6Al-4V alloy. Low depth of cut and high workpiece speed are generally beneficial to achieve the precision ground surface for PTMCs. The hard reinforcements of PTMCs are mainly removed in the ductile mode during grinding. However, the removal phenomenon of the reinforcements due to brittle fracture still exists, which contributes to the lower specific grinding energy and grinding temperature of PTMCs than Ti-6Al-4V alloy.Ding Wenfeng Zhao Biao Xu Jiuhua Yang Changyong Fu Yucan Su Honghua 2014Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,5:8
Grinding performance evaluation of porous composite-bonded CBN wheels for Inconel 718显示文摘For high-efficiency grinding of difficult-to-cut materials such as titanium and nickel alloys, a high porosity is expected and also a sufficient mechanical strength to satisfy the function. However, the porosity increase is a disadvantage to the mechanical strength. As a promising pore forming agent, alumina bubbles are firstly induced into the abrasive layer to fabricate porous cubic boron nitride(CBN) wheels. When the wheel porosity reaches 45%, the bending strength is still high up to 50 MPa with modified orderly pore distribution. A porous CBN wheel was fabricated with a total porosity around 30%. The grinding performance of the porous composite-bonded CBN wheel was evaluated in terms of specific force, specific grinding energy, and grinding temperature, which were better than those of the vitrified one under the same grinding conditions. Compared to the vitrified CBN wheel, clear straight cutting grooves and less chip adhesion are observed on the ground surface and there is also no extensive loading on the wheel surface after grinding.Chen Zhenzhen Xu Jiuhua Ding Wenfeng Ma Changyu 2014Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,4:7
Milling Force Model for Aviation Aluminum Alloy: Academic Insight and Perspective Analysis显示文摘Aluminum alloy is the main structural material of aircraft, launch vehicle, spaceship, and space station and is processed by milling. However, tool wear and vibration are the bottlenecks in the milling process of aviation aluminum alloy. The machining accuracy and surface quality of aluminum alloy milling depend on the cutting parameters, material mechanical properties, machine tools, and other parameters. In particular, milling force is the crucial factor to determine material removal and workpiece surface integrity. However, establishing the prediction model of milling force is important and difficult because milling force is the result of multiparameter coupling of process system. The research progress of cutting force model is reviewed from three modeling methods:empirical model, finite element simulation, and instantaneous milling force model. The problems of cutting force modeling are also determined. In view of these problems, the future work direction is proposed in the following four aspects:(1)high-speed milling is adopted for the thin-walled structure of large aviation with large cutting depth, which easily produces high residual stress. The residual stress should be analyzed under this particular condition.(2)Multiple factors(e.g.,eccentric swing milling parameters, lubrication conditions, tools, tool and workpiece deformation, and size effect)should be considered comprehensively when modeling instantaneous milling forces, especially for micro milling and complex surface machining.(3)The database of milling force model, including the corresponding workpiece materials, working condition, cutting tools(geometric figures and coatings),and other parameters, should be established.(4)The effect of chatter on the prediction accuracy of milling force cannot be ignored in thin-walled workpiece milling.(5)The cutting force of aviation aluminum alloy milling under the condition of minimum quantity lubrication(mql)and nanofluid mql should be predicted.Zhenjing Duan Changhe Li Wenfeng Ding Yanbin Zhang Min Yang Teng Gao Huajun Cao Xuefeng Xu Dazhong Wang Cong Mao Hao Nan Li Gupta Munish Kumar Zafar Said Sujan Debnath Muhammad Jamil Hafiz Muhammad Ali 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,1:7
High manure load reduces bacterial diversity and network complexity in a paddy soil under crop rotations显示文摘Long-term application of chemical fertilizers causes soil degradation and nitrogen(N)loss, but these effects could be alleviated by organic fertilizers. In addition, crop rotation is a feasible practice to increase soil fertility, soil quality and crop yields comparing with monocultural cropping patterns. However, questions remain concerning how the soil microbiome responds to different manure application rates under crop rotations. Here,we collected soil samples from a rice-rape system to investigate the response of the soil microbiome to nine years of pig manure application at different rates(CK:0 kg ha^(-1),M1:1930 kg ha^(-1),M2:3860 kg ha^(-1) and M3:5790 kg ha^(-1)).Our results revealed that the bacterialα-diversity(Chao1 and Shannon index)in the rape season increased first and then decreased with increasing manure application rates, and a high manure load tended to decrease the bacterialα-diversity in the rice season.Long-term manure application enriched some copiotrophic bacteria, such as Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria, while it decreased the relative abundance of Nitrospirae.Redundancy analysis(RDA)and the Mantel test indicated that soil pH,TC,TN,AP,C/P and N/P ratios were the main factors influencing bacterial communities. Moreover, network analysis showed that a low manure application rate shaped a complexly connected and stable bacterial community, while higher manure application rate decreased the stability of the bacterial network. These findings improve our understanding of bacterial responses to longterm manure application under crop rotations and their relationships with soil factors, especially in the context of increasing fertilizer inputs.Haiyang Liu Xing Huang Wenfeng Tan Hongjie Di Jianming Xu Yong Li 2020Soil Ecology Letters2020,2,2:6
Sparse kernel logistic regression based on L_(1/2) regularization显示文摘The sparsity driven classification technologies have attracted much attention in recent years, due to their capability of providing more compressive representations and clear interpretation. Two most popular classification approaches are support vector machines(SVMs) and kernel logistic regression(KLR),each having its own advantages. The sparsification of SVM has been well studied, and many sparse versions of 2-norm SVM,such as 1-norm SVM(1-SVM),have been developed. But,the sparsifiation of KLR has been less studied. The existing sparsification of KLR is mainly based on L1 norm and L2 norm penalties, which leads to the sparse versions that yield solutions not so sparse as it should be.A very recent study on L1/2 regularization theory in compressive sensing shows that L1/2 sparse modeling can yield solutions more sparse than those of 1 norm and 2 norm, and, furthermore, the model can be efficiently solved by a simple iterative thresholding procedure. The objective function dealt with in L1/2 regularization theory is,however,of square form, the gradient of which is linear in its variables(such an objective function is the so-called linear gradient function). In this paper, through extending the linear gradient function of L1/2 regularization framework to the logistic function,we propose a novel sparse version of KLR,the 1/2 quasi-norm kernel logistic regression(1/2-KLR).The version integrates advantages of KLR and L1/2 regularization, and defines an efficient implementation scheme of sparse KLR.We suggest a fast iterative thresholding algorithm for 1/2-KLR and prove its convergence. We provide a series of simulations to demonstrate that 1/2-KLR can often obtain more sparse solutions than the existing sparsity driven versions of KLR,at the same or better accuracy level. The conclusion is also true even in comparison with sparse SVMs(1-SVM and 2-SVM).We show an exclusive advantage of 1/2-KLR that the regularization parameter in the algorithm can be adaptively set whenever the sparsity(correspondingly, the number of support vectors) is given, which suggests a methodology of comparing sparsity promotion capability of different sparsity driven classifiers. As an illustration of benefits of 1/2-KLR,we give two applications of 1/2-KLR in semi-supervised learning, showing that 1/2-KLR can be successfully applied to the classification tasks in which only a few data are labeled.XU Chen PENG ZhiMing JING WenFeng 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,4:5
Nano-enhanced biolubricant in sustainable manufacturing:From processability to mechanisms显示文摘To eliminate the negative effect of traditional metal-working fluids and achieve sustainable manufacturing, the usage of nano-enhanced biolubricant(NEBL)is widely researched in minimum quantify lubrication(MQL)machining. It's improved tool wear and surface integrity have been preliminarily verified by experimental studies. The previous review papers also concluded the major influencing factors of processability including nano-enhancer and lubricant types,NEBL concentration, micro droplet size, and so on.Nevertheless, the complex action of NEBL,from preparation, atomization, infiltration to heat transfer and anti-friction,is indistinct which limits preparation of process specifications and popularity in factories.Especially in the complex machining process,in-depth understanding is difficult and meaningful. To fll this gap, this paper concentrates on the comprehensive quantitative assessment of processability based on tribological, thermal, and machined surface quality aspects for NEBL application in turning, milling, and grinding. Then it attempts to answer mechanisms systematically considering multi-factor influence of molecular structure, physicochemical properties, concentration, and dispersion.Firstly, this paper reveals advanced lubrication and heat transfer mechanisms of NEBL by quantitative comparison with biolubricant-based MQL machining.Secondly, the distinctive filmformation, atomization, and infiltration mechanisms of NEBL,as distinguished from metal-working fluid, are clarified combining with its unique molecular structure and physical properties.Furtherly, the process optimization strategy is concluded based on the synergistic relationship analysis among process variables, physicochemical properties, machining mechanisms, and performance of NEBL.Finally, the future development directions are put forward aiming at current performance limitations of NEBL,which requires improvement on preparation and jet methods respects. This paper will help scientists deeply understand effective mechanism, formulate process specifications, and find future development trend of this technology.Yanbin ZHANG Hao Nan LI Changhe LI Chuanzhen HUANG Hafiz Muhammad ALI Xuefeng XU Cong MAO Wenfeng DING Xin CUI Min YANG Tianbiao YU Muhammad JAMIL Munish Kumar GUPTA Dongzhou JIA Zafar SAID 2022Friction2022,10,6:5
Numerical Research on Inlet Total Pressure Distortion in a Transonic Compressor with Non-Axisymmetric Stator Clearance显示文摘Inlet total pressure distortion has great adverse effects on the aero-engine performance. The distorted flow passes through the compressor and becomes non-uniform in the downstream blade rows. Different from previous studies based on the assumption of circumferential uniformity, this study aims to improve circumferential non-uniform flow with the non-axisymmetric structure. Non-axisymmetric stator clearance was adopted to resolve the effects of non-uniform flow caused by inlet total pressure distortion in this paper. The 9 stators with tip clearance were installed in the distorted region and the flow field structure and performance under different operating conditions was studied. The study finds that the non-axisymmetric compressor with 9 tip clearance stators can ensure compressor efficiency while improving compressor stability margin. What’s more, the separation range and strength in the distorted region can be reduced significantly and the anti-distortion capability of compressor can be enhanced.XU Wenfeng SUN Peng YANG Guogang HUANG Longsheng FU Wenguang 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,4:3
The effect of applied stress on damage mode of 3D C/C composites under bend-bend fatigue loading显示文摘The bend-bend fatigue behavior of 3D integral braided carbon/carbon composites (3D C/C) was examined. Fatigue test was conducted under load control at a sinu-soidal frequency of 10 Hz to obtain stress-fracture cycles (S-N) relationship. The fatigue limit of the C/C was found to be 203 MPa (92% of the static flexural strength), the lag loops of fatigue load-displacement were transformed from elasticity to anelasticity and the flexibility of specimens were enhanced with increase in applied stress. It is revealed that the interfacial sliding abrasion played an important role in the fatigue failure process, and the extent and speed of sliding abrasion were con-trolled by the level of applied stress.LIAO XiaoLing LI HeJun XU WenFeng LI KeZhi 2007Science China(Technological Sciences)2007,50,1:3
Nobiletin downregulates the SKP2-p21/p27-CDK2 axis to inhibit tumor progression and shows synergistic effects with palbociclib on renal cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective:Natural extracts, including nobiletin, have been reported to enhance the efficacy and sensitivity of chemotherapeutic drugs. However, whether and how nobiletin affects tumor growth and progression in renal cell carcinoma(RCC)are still unclear. Methods:Cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis analyses,colony-formation assays, immunoblotting analysis, and q RT-PCR analysis were performed to investigate how nobiletin affected RCC cell proliferation in vitro. The nude mouse model was used to test the efficacy of nobiletin alone or in combination with palbociclib. Results:Nobiletin inhibited cell proliferation by inducing G1 cell cycle arrest and cell apoptosis in RCC cells.Mechanistically, nobiletin decreased SKP2 protein expression by reducing its transcriptional level. The downregulated SKP2 caused accumulation of its substrates,p27 and p21,which further inhibited the activity of the G1 phase-related protein,CDK2,leading to inhibition of cell proliferation and tumor formation.A higher SKP2 protein level indicated less sensitivity to the CDK4/6 inhibitor, palbociclib.A combination of nobiletin and palbociclib showed a synergistic tumor inhibition in vitro and in an in vivo model. Conclusions:Nobiletin downregulated the SKP2-p21/p27-CDK2 axis to inhibit tumor progression and showed synergistic tumor inhibition effects with the CDK4/6 inhibitor, palbociclib,on RCC,which indicates a potential new therapeutic strategy.Tingting Chen Liu Liu Yonghong Zou Xiaoyan Hu Wenfeng Zhang Tao Zhou Xi Luo Weihua Fu Jie Xu 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:3
Minimum quantity lubrication machining of aeronautical materials using carbon group nanolubricant: From mechanisms to application显示文摘It is an inevitable trend of sustainable manufacturing to replace flood and dry machining with minimum quantity lubrication(MQL)technology.Nevertheless, for aeronautical difficult-tomachine materials,MQL couldn’t meet the high demand of cooling and lubrication due to high heat generation during machining.Nano-biolubricants,especially non-toxic carbon group nano-enhancers(CGNs)are used, can solve this technical bottleneck. However, the machining mechanisms under lubrication of CGNs are unclear at complex interface between tool and workpiece, which characterized by high temperature, pressure, and speed, limited its application in factories and necessitates in-depth understanding. To fill this gap, this study concentrates on the comprehensive quantitative assessment of tribological characteristics based on force, tool wear, chip, and surface integrity in titanium alloy and nickel alloy machining and attempts to answer mechanisms systematically.First,to establish evaluation standard, the cutting mechanisms and performance improvement behavior covering antifriction, antiwear, tool failure, material removal, and surface formation of MQL were revealed.Second, the unique film formation and lubrication behaviors of CGNs in MQL turning, milling, and grinding are concluded. The influence law of molecular structure and micromorphology of CGNs was also answered and optimized options were recommended by considering diverse boundary conditions. Finally,in view of CGNs limitations in MQL,the future development direction is proposed, which needs to be improved in thermal stability of lubricant, activity of CGNs,controllable atomization and transportation methods, and intelligent formation of processing technology solutions.Xin CUI Changhe LI Wenfeng Ding Yun CHEN Cong MAO Xuefeng XU Bo LIU Dazhong WANG Hao Nan LI Yanbin ZHANG Zafar SAID Sujan DEBNATH Muhammad JAMIL Hafiz Muhammad ALI Shubham SHARMA 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,11:3
Residual stresses of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits brazed with a high-frequency induction heating technique显示文摘Residual stresses produced in polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits during a high-frequency induction brazing process are calculated by using ?nite element analysis, with a consideration of the nonuniform temperature distribution in the induction brazing model. The in?uences of induction brazing parameters on the residual stresses of polycrystalline CBN abrasive grits have been analyzed, including the embedding depth, grit side length, etc. Results obtained show that the tensile stress with a 40% embedding depth is 292 MPa, which is the minimum on the bonding interface compared with other embedding depths. Meanwhile, the maximum tensile stress is 575 MPa, with an increase of 59% compared with that of a grit side length of 50 mm. 17Excellent Electrochemical Performances of Intrinsic Polyaniline Nanofibers Fabricated by Electrochemical Deposition显示文摘A simple route to synthesize the polyaniline(PANI) nanofibers with diameter about 150 nm was reported. In this strategy, the PANI nanofibers were fabricated by electrochemical deposition by using two-electrode configuration in 0.01 M aniline and 0.01 M H_2SO_4 electrolytes. The as-prepared materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), Raman spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The electrochemical properties of the PANI nanofibers electrode as supercapacitor materials were investigated. The PANI nanofibers electrode showed high capacitance of 485 F·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1), and the decrease in the specific capacitance is about 3.5% in 1 000 cycles. The results indicate that the PANI nanofibers electrode shows high stability and retains its electrochemical capacitance property over 1 000 cycles, suggesting PANI nanofibers have promising applications in high-performance supercapacitors.陈韶云 LIU Ben WANG Yuan CHENG Huan ZHANG Xingying XU Shaoqin LIU Hui LIU Wenfeng 胡成龙 2019Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2019,34,1:2

Vibration coupling effects and machining behavior of ultrasonic vibration plate device for creep-feed grinding of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy显示文摘Ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding(UVAG)is an effective and promising method for machining of hard-to-cut materials. This article proposed an ultrasonic vibration plate device enabling the longitudinal full-wave and transverse half-wave(L2T1)vibration mode for UVAG.The characteristics of two-dimensional coupled vibration in different directions were analyzed on the basis of apparent elastic method and finite element method.Furthermore,a correction factor was applied to correct the frequency error caused by the apparent elastic method. Finally, the comparative experiments between the conventional creep-feed grinding and UVAG of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy were carried out.The results indicate that the apparent elastic method with the correction factor is accurate for the design of plate device under the L2T1 vibration mode.Compared with the conventional creep-feed grinding, the UVAG causes the reduction of grinding force and the improvement of machined surface quality of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy.Furthermore, under the current experimental conditions, the optimal ultrasonic vibration amplitude is determined as 6μm,with which the minimum surface roughness is achieved.Yang CAO Yejun ZHU Wenfeng DING Yutong QIU Lifeng WANG Jiuhua XU 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:2
