1Selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases over Ni/ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Ni/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by the incipient-wetness impregnation method and were investigated in activity and selectivity for the selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases with more than 20 vol% CO2. The result showed that Ni loadings significantly influenced the performance of Ni/ZrO2 catalyst. The 1.6 wt% Ni loading catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activity among all the catalysts in the selective methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gas. The outlet concentration of CO was less than 20 ppm with the hydrogen consumption below 7%, at a gas-hourly-space velocity as high as 10000 h-1 and a temperature range of 260 °C to 280 °C. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) measurements showed that NiO was dispersed thoroughly on the surface of ZrO2 support if Ni loading was under 1.6 wt%. 3Liquefaction macrophenomena in the great Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘On May 12,2008 at 14:28,a catastrophic magnitude Ms 8.0 earthquake struck the Sichuan Province of China.The epicenter was located at Wenchuan(31.00oN,103.40oE).Liquefaction macrophenomena and corresponding destruction was observed throughout a vast area of 500 km long and 200 km wide following the earthquake.This paper illustrates the geographic distribution of the liquefaction and the relationship between liquefaction behavior and seismic intensity,and summarizes the liquefaction macrophenomena,including sandboils and waterspouts,ground subsidence,ground fi ssures etc.,and relevant liquefaction features.A brief summary of the structural damage caused by liquefaction is presented and discussed.Based on comparisons with liquefaction phenomena observed in the 1976 Tangshan and 1975 Haicheng earthquakes,preliminary analyses were performed,which revealed some new features of liquefaction behavior and associated issues arising from this event.The site investigation indicated that the spatial non-uniformity of liquefaction distribution was obvious and most of the liquefi ed sites were located in regions of seismic intensity VIII.However,liquefaction phenomena at ten different sites in regions of seismic intensity VI were also observed for the fi rst time in China mainland.Sandboils and waterspouts ranged from centimeters to tens of meters,with most between 1 m to 3 m.Dramatically high water/sand ejections,e.g.,more than 10 m,were observed at four different sites.The sand ejections included silty sand,fi ne sand,medium sand,course sand and gravel,but the ejected sand amount was less than that in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake.Possible liquefaction of natural gravel soils was observed for the fi rst time in China mainland.Chen Longwei Yuan Xiaoming Cao Zhenzhong Hou Longqing Sun Rui Dong Lin Wang Weiming Meng Fanchao Chen Hongjuan 2009Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2009,8,2:14

5Coupling of wave and current numerical model with unstructured quadtree grid for nearshore coastal waters显示文摘This paper presents 2D wave-current interaction model for evaluating nearly horizontal wave-induced currents in the surf-zone and coastal waters.The hydrodynamic model is the two-dimensional depth-averaged nonlinear shallow water equations by using an unstructured non-staggered and multiple-level quadtree rectangular mesh,this mesh information is stored in simple data structures and it is easy to obtain a locally high resolution for important region.The intercell fluxes are computed based on the HLL(Harten-Lax-van Leer) approximate Riemann solver with shock capturing capability for computing the dry-to-wet interface of coastal line.The effects of pressure and gravity are included in source term in the model,this treatment can simplify the computation and eliminate numerical imbalance between source and flux terms.The wave model readily provides the radiation stresses that represent the shortwave-averaged forces in a water column for the hydrodynamic model and the wave model takes into account the effect of wave-induced nearshore currents and water level.The coupling model is applied to verify different experimental cases and real life case of considering the wave-current interaction.The calculated results agree with analytical solution,experimental and field data.The results show that the modeling approach presented herein should be useful in simulating the nearshore processes in complicated natural coastal domains.ZHANG MingLiang WU WeiMing LIN LiHua YU JiangNan 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,2:10

7Effect of Transition Metals (Cu, Co and Fe) on the Autothermal Reforming of Methane over Ni/Ce_(0.2)Zr_(0.1)Al_(0.7)O_δ Catalyst显示文摘The transition metals (Cu, Co, and Fe) were applied to modify Ni/Ce0.2Zr0.1 Al0.7Oδcatalyst. The effects of transition metals on the catalytic properties of Ni/Ce0.2Zr0.1 Al0.7Oδautothermal reforming of methane were investigated. The Ni-supported catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR and XPS. Tests in autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen showed that the addition of transition metals (Cu and Co) significantly increased the activity of catalyst under the conditions of lower reaction temperature, and Ni/Cu0.05Ce0.2Zr0.1Al0.65Oδwas found to have the highest conversion of CH4 among all catalysts in the operation temperatures ranging from 923 K to 1023 K. TPR, XRD and XPS measurements indicated that the cubic phases of CexZr1-xO2 solid solution were formed in the preparation process of catalysts. Strong interaction was found to exist between NiO and CexZr1-xO2 solid solution. 10Autothermal reforming of methane over Ni catalysts supported over ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3显示文摘Ni catalysts supported on Al_2O_3,ZrO_2-Al_2O_3,CeO_2-Al_2O_3 and ZrO_2-CeO_2-Al_2O_3 were prepared by co- precipitation method,and their catalytic performances for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen were investigated. The Ni-supported catalysts were characterized by XRD,TPR and XPS.The relationship between the structures and catalytic activities of the catalysts was discussed.The results showed that the catalytic activity and stability of the Ni/ZrO_2-CeO_2-Al_2O_3 catalyst was better than those of other catalysts with the highest CH_4 conversion,H_2/CO and H_2/CO_x ratio at 750℃.The cat- alyst showed a little deactivation along the reaction time during its 72 h on stream with the mean deactivation rate of 0.08%/h. 11Evaluating Soil Dissolved Organic Matter Extraction Using Three-Dimensional Excitation-Emission Matrix Fluorescence Spectroscopy显示文摘Soil dissolved organic matter(DOM) consists of many organic compounds and plays an important role in contaminant transport in the ecosystem. However, the effects of different extraction conditions on contents of different DOM components are poorly understood.We extracted DOM from three soils using different extraction times, solid to liquid ratios(SLR), and extraction solution(KCl)concentrations, and evaluated the extractions using three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix(EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy.The sum of the contents of the main DOM components(protein-, fulvic-, and humic-like compounds) increased by 0.6–3.5, 2.5–3.9,and 0.11–0.37 times(P < 0.05) when SLR decreased from 1:2 to 1:10, the extraction solution concentration increased from 0.01 to 1.5 mol L^(-1), and extraction time increased from 10 to 300 min, respectively. 14Effect of CeO2 on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al2O3 for autothermal reforming of methane显示文摘The effect of promoter Ce on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen was investigated.The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),temperature-programmed reduction (TPR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results indicated that the catalytic performance of the catalysts was improved with the addition of Ce.Ni/Ce_(30)Al_(70)O_δshowed the highest CH_4 conversion in operation temperatures ranging from 650℃to 850℃.At the same time,the decrease in H_2/CO ratio with increasing reaction temperature was consistent with the fact that water-gas shift reaction was thermodynamically unfavorable at higher temperatures.The XRD result indicated that adding Ce to Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst prevented the formation of NiAl_2O_4 and facilitated the formation of NiO.The formation of NiO increased the number of active sites,resulting in higher activity.Comparing the TPR profiles of Ni/Ce_(30)Al_(70)O_δwith Ni/Al_2O_3,it could be clearly observed that with the addition of Ce,the total reduction peak areas in the middle and low temperatures increased.It was most probably that the addition of Ce inhibited the stronger interaction between Ni and Al_2O_3 to form the phase of NiAl_2O_4,and favored the formation of the strong interaction between NiO species and CeO_2.Therefore, the addition of Ce to the Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst increased the active surface that promoted the activity of the catalyst.Xiulan Cai Xinfa Dong Weiming Lin 2008Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2008,17,1:4
15Qiguiyishen decoction reduced the accumulation of extracellular matrix in the kidneys of rats with adriamycin-induced nephropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Qiguiyishen decoction(QGYS) on the severity of nephropathy.METHODS: Twenty-four rats were randomly divided into four groups(Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) according to the random number table. Group Ⅰ as control group did not establish nephropathy model. Groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ, and Ⅳ were intravenously administered Adriamycin(7.5 mg/kg) through the tail vein to establish nephropathy model. QGYS was prepared with the extracts of Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici),Danggui(Radix Angelicae Sinensis),Niuxi(RadixAchyran-this Bidentatae), and Chuanxiong(Rhizoma Chuanxiong).Group Ⅳ was administered QGYS (2mL·kg-1·d-1), group Ⅲ was administered benazepril(10 mL·kg-1·d-1), and group Ⅰ, Ⅱ was administered water(2mL·kg-1·d-1)once daily for eight weeks.RESULTS: QGYS reduced the excretion of urinary protein and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase and alleviated the accumulation of extracellular matrix(ECM) in renal tissue. 17Removal of CO from reformed fuels by selective methanation over Ni-B-Zr-O_δ catalysts显示文摘The Ni-B-Oδ and Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts were prepared by the method of chemical reduction, and the deep removal of CO by selective methanation from the reformed fuels was performed over the as-prepared catalysts. The results showed that zirconium strongly influenced the activity and selectivity of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. Over the Ni-B-Oδ catalyst, the highest CO conversion obtained was only 24.32% under the experimental conditions studied. However, over the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts, the CO methanation conversion was higher than 90% when the temperature was increased to 220℃. Additionally, it was found that the Ni/B mole ratio also affected the performance of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. With the increase of the Ni/B mole ratio from 1.8 to 2.2, the CO methanation activity of the catalyst was improved. But when the Ni/B mole ratio was higher than 2.2, the performance of the catalyst for CO selective methanation decreased instead. Among all the catalysts, the Ni29B13Zr58Oδ catalyst investigated here exhibited the highest catalytic performance for the CO selective methanation, which was capable of reducing the CO outlet concentration to less than 40 ppm from the feed gases stream in the temperature range of 230-250℃, while the CO2 conversion was kept below 8% all along.
