1State-of-the-art review on frequency response of wind power plants in power systems显示文摘With an increasing penetration of wind power in the modern electrical grid, the increasing replacement of large conventional synchronous generators by wind power plants will potentially result in deteriorated frequency regulation performance due to the reduced system inertia and primary frequency response. A series of challenging issues arise from the aspects of power system planning,operation, control and protection. Therefore, it is valuable to develop variable speed wind turbines(VSWTs) equipped with frequency regulation capabilities that allow them to effectively participate in addressing severe frequency contingencies. This paper provides a comprehensive surveyon frequency regulation methods for VSWTs. It fully describes the concepts, principles and control strategies of prevailing frequency controls of VSWTs, including future development trends. 2Recent Advances of Persistent Luminescence Nanoparticles in Bioapplications显示文摘Persistent luminescence phosphors are a novel group of promising luminescent materials with afterglow properties after the stoppage of excitation.In the past decade,persistent luminescence nanoparticles(PLNPs)with intriguing optical properties have attracted a wide range of attention in various areas.Especially in recent years,the development and applications in biomedical fields have been widely explored.Owing to the efficient elimination of the autofluorescence interferences from biotissues and the ultra-long near-infrared afterglow emission,many researches have focused on the manipulation of PLNPs in biosensing,cell tracking,bioimaging and cancer therapy.These achievements stimulated the growing interest in designing new types of PLNPs with desired superior characteristics and multiple functions.In this review,we summarize the works on synthesis methods,bioapplications,biomembrane modification and biosafety of PLNPs and highlight the recent advances in biosensing,imaging and imaging-guided therapy.We further discuss the new types of PLNPs as a newly emerged class of functional biomaterials for multiple applications.Finally,the remaining problems and challenges are discussed with suggestions and prospects for potential future directions in the biomedical applications.Shuqi Wu Yang Li Weihang Ding Letong Xu Yuan Ma Lianbing Zhang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,6:8

4Preparation and properties of Nd,Yb:GGG polycrystalline nanopowders显示文摘Gadolinium gallium garnet(GGG)polycrystalline powders doped with Nd,Yb were prepared by co-precipitation method.The structure,phase and properties of powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)and fluorescence spectroscopy.XRD analysis indicated that the crystallization of Nd,Yb:GGG powders occur at 900��.SEM analysis showed that the morphology of the powders was irregular and the average radius is 68.74 nm.FTIR analysis manifested that pure Nd,Yb:GGG powders were formed at 900��.The fluorescence spectrum revealed that the most strong emission of Nd,Yb:GGG powders was 1030 nm,which was attributed to 2F5/2��2F7/2 of Yb3+.The possible formation mechanism of Nd,Yb:GGG powders were preliminarily discussed.Yanmin DONG Jing SUN Wensheng YU Weihang LI Fei TENG 2012Journal of Advanced Ceramics2012,1,4:3
5A bone-targeted engineered exosome platform delivering siRNA to treat osteoporosis显示文摘The complex pathogenesis of osteoporosis includes excessive bone resorption,insufficient bone formation and inadequate vascularization,a combination which is difficult to completely address with conventional therapies.Engineered exosomes carrying curative molecules show promise as alternative osteoporosis therapies,but depend on specifically-functionalized vesicles and appropriate engineering strategies.Here,we developed an exosome delivery system based on exosomes secreted by mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs).The engineered exosomes BT-Exo-siShn3,took advantage of the intrinsic anti-osteoporosis function of these special MSC-derived exosomes and collaborated with the loaded siRNA of the Shn3 gene to enhance the therapeutic effects.Modification of a bone-targeting peptide endowed the BT-Exo-siShn3 an ability to deliver siRNA to osteoblasts specifically.Silencing of the osteoblastic Shn3 gene enhanced osteogenic differentiation,decreased autologous RANKL expression and thereby inhibited osteoclast formation.Furthermore,Shn3 gene silencing increased production of SLIT3 and consequently facilitated vascularization,especially formation of type H vessels.Our study demonstrated that BT-Exo-siShn3 could serve as a promising therapy to kill three birds with one stone and implement comprehensive anti-osteoporosis effects.Yongzhi Cui Yuanyuan Guo Li Kong Jingyu Shi Ping Liu Rui Li Yongtao Geng Weihang Gao Zhiping Zhang Dehao Fu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:3

7Anomalous signals before 2011 Tohoku-oki Mw9.1 earthquake,detected by superconducting gravimeters and broadband seismometers显示文摘The 2011 Tohoku-oki earthquake,occurred on 11 March,2011,is a great earthquake with a seismic magnitude Mw9. 1,before which an Mw7. 5 earthquake occurred. Focusing on this great earthquake event,we applied Hilbert-Huang transform( HHT) analysis method to the one-second interval records at seven superconducting gravimeter( SG) stations and seven broadband seismic( BS) stations to carry out spectrum analysis and compute the energy-frequency-time distribution. Tidal effects are removed from SG data by T-soft software before the data series are transformed by HHT method. Based on HHT spectra and the marginal spectra from the records at selected seven SG stations and seven BS stations we found anomalous signals in terms of energy. The dominant frequencies of the anomalous signals are respectively about 0. 13 Hz in SG records and 0. 2 Hz in seismic data,and the anomalous signals occurred one week or two to three days prior to the event. 8Reinforcement Learning-Based Sensitive Semantic Location Privacy Protection for VANETs显示文摘Location-based services(LBS)in vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)must protect users’privacy and address the threat of the exposure of sensitive locations during LBS requests.Users release not only their geographical but also semantic information of the visited places(e.g.,hospital).This sensitive information enables the inference attacker to exploit the users’preferences and life patterns.In this paper we propose a reinforcement learning(RL)based sensitive semantic location privacy protection scheme.This scheme uses the idea of differential privacy to randomize the released vehicle locations and adaptively selects the perturbation policy based on the sensitivity of the semantic location and the attack history.This scheme enables a vehicle to optimize the perturbation policy in terms of the privacy and the quality of service(QoS)loss without being aware of the current inference attack model in a dynamic privacy protection process.To solve the location protection problem with high-dimensional and continuous-valued perturbation policy variables,a deep deterministic policy gradientbased semantic location perturbation scheme(DSLP)is developed.The actor part is used to generate continuous privacy budget and perturbation angle,and the critic part is used to estimate the performance of the policy.Simulations demonstrate the DSLP-based scheme outperforms the benchmark schemes,which increases the privacy,reduces the QoS loss,and increases the utility of the vehicle.Minghui Min Weihang Wang Liang Xiao Yilin Xiao Zhu Han 2021China Communications2021,18,6:3

12Data-driven Optimal Control Strategy for Virtual Synchronous Generator via Deep Reinforcement Learning Approach显示文摘This paper aims at developing a data-driven optimal control strategy for virtual synchronous generator (VSG) in the scenario where no expert knowledge or requirement for system model is available. Firstly, the optimal and adaptive control problem for VSG is transformed into a reinforcement learning task. Specifically, the control variables, i.e., virtual inertia and damping factor, are defined as the actions. Meanwhile, the active power output, angular frequency and its derivative are considered as the observations. Moreover, the reward mechanism is designed based on three preset characteristic functions to quantify the control targets: ① maintaining the deviation of angular frequency within special limits;② preserving well-damped oscillations for both the angular frequency and active power output;③ obtaining slow frequency drop in the transient process. Next, to maximize the cumulative rewards, a decentralized deep policy gradient algorithm, which features model-free and faster convergence, is developed and employed to find the optimal control policy. With this effort, a data-driven adaptive VSG controller can be obtained. By using the proposed controller, the inverter-based distributed generator can adaptively adjust its control variables based on current observations to fulfill the expected targets in model-free fashion. 16Energy-efficient computing-in-memory architecture for AI processor: device, circuit, architecture perspective显示文摘An artificial intelligence(AI) processor is a promising solution for energy-efficient data processing, including health monitoring and image/voice recognition. However, data movements between compute part and memory induce memory wall and power wall challenges to the conventional computing architecture.Recently, the memory-centric architecture has been revised to solve the data movement issue, where the memory is equipped with the compute-capable memory technique, namely, computing-in-memory(CIM). In this paper, we analyze the requirement of AI algorithms on the data movement and low power requirement of AI processors. In addition, we introduce the story of CIM and implementation methodologies of CIM architecture. Furthermore, we present several novel solutions beyond traditional analog-digital mixed static random-access memory(SRAM)-based CIM architecture. 19Numerical Study of the Air Bleeding Caused Non-Uniformity in Axial Compressor显示文摘Bleeding in the compressor is getting more and more attractive because the increasing demand of bleeding rate as the temperature of the first stage of turbine gets higher and needs more cooling air.Though plenty of work has been done about bleeding,however,most of the work is studied with a single passage or ignoring the real structure of the bleeding system.In the present study,multi-passage calculation was used through ANSYS CFX to consider the finite duct holes in the whole blade row,and the effect of the axial location of bleeding slot on the non-uniformity of the blade passage was investigated,and the non-uniform could maintain a low level when bleeding at the front part of the blade passage and the non-uniformity would become large when moving the bleeding slot much further downstream.Afterward,the air bleeding mass flow rate was studied.It’s found that the non-uniformity of air bleeding mass flow is small when bleeding at a low mass flow rate in each passage and results in relatively uniform flow field in the passage.However,the non-uniformity increases significantly as the bleeding mass flow rate increases.Some flow field details were also given to study how the flow field changes when bleeding non-uniformly.CHEN Shaowen GONG Yun LI Weihang WANG Songtao WANG Zhongqi 2020Journal of Thermal Science2020,29,1:1
