| 2 | High-temperature infrared camouflage with efficient thermal management显示文摘High-temperature infrared(IR)camouflage is crucial to the effective concealment of high-temperature objects but remains a challenging issue,as the thermal radiation of an object is proportional to the fourth power of temperature(T4).Here,we experimentally demonstrate high-temperature IR camouflage with efficient thermal management.By combining a silica aerogel for thermal insulation and a Ge/ZnS multilayer wavelength-selective emitter for simultaneous radiative cooling(high emittance in the 5-8μm non-atmospheric window)and IR camouflage(low emittance in the 8-14μm atmospheric window),the surface temperature of an object is reduced from 873 to 410 K.The IR camouflage is demonstrated by indoor/outdoor(with/without earthshine)radiation temperatures of 310/248 K for an object at 873/623 K and a 78% reduction in with-earthshine lock-on range.This scheme may introduce opportunities for high-temperature thermal management and infrared signal processing. | Huanzheng Zhu Qiang Li Chunqi Zheng Yu Hong Ziquan Xu HanWang Weidong Shen Sandeep Kaur Pintu Ghosh Min Qiu | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 8 |
| 3 | Broadband near-infrared luminescence and energy transfer of Cr^(3+),Ce^(3+) co-doped Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12) phosphors显示文摘Broadband near-infrared phosphors are highly desirable for food testing.Targeted Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12):Cr^(3+)(CLHA:Cr^(3+)) and Ca_(2)LuHf_(2)Al_(3)O_(12):Ce^(3+),Cr^(3+)(CLHA:Ce^(3+),Cr^(^(3+))) phosphors were synthesized by the conventional high-temperature solid state reaction.The CLHA:Cr^(3+)phosphor,with a good thermal stability,shows a red shift owing to radiation reabsorption and non-radiative transition with increasing Cr^(3+)content.For co-doped sample,the emission intensity of Cr^(3+)can be enhanced by three times due to the energy transfer from Ce^(3+)to Cr^(3+),which can be evidenced by a significant overlap between the PLE of Cr^(3+)single-doped phosphor and the PL of Ce^(3+)single-doped phosphor.In addition,the mechanism of energy transfer is identified as a quadrupole-quadrupole interaction according to decay Lifetime and Dexter’s energy transfer formula.The broadband NIR emission peaked at 775 nm of CLHA:Cr^(3+),Ce^(3+)phosphor shows a bright prospect in nondestructive quality-control analysis systems for food. | Jinpin Wu Weidong Zhuang Ronghui Liu Yuanhong Liu Tongyu Gao Chunpei Yan Min Cao Junhang Tian Xiaoxia Chen | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3: | 6 |
