2Immobilized thrombin on X-ray radiopaque polyvinyl alcohol/chitosan embolic microspheres for precise localization and topical blood coagulation显示文摘Trans-catheter arterial embolization(TAE)plays an important role in treating various diseases.The available embolic agents lack X-ray visibility and do not prevent the reflux phenomenon,thus hindering their application for TAE therapy.Herein,we aim to develop a multifunctional embolic agent that combines the X-ray radiopacity with local procoagulant activity.The barium sulfate nanoparticles(BaSO4 NPs)were synthesized and loaded into the polyvinyl alcohol/chitosan(PVA/CS)to prepare the radiopaque BaSO4/PVA/CS microspheres(MS).Thereafter,thrombin was immobilized onto the BaSO4/PVA/CS MS to obtain the thrombin@BaSO4/PVA/CS MS.The prepared BaSO4/PVA/CS MS were highly spherical with diameters ranging from 100 to 300μm.In vitro CT imaging showed increased X-ray visibility of BaSO4/PVA/CS MS with the increased content of BaSO4 NPs in the PVA/CS MS.The biocompatibility assessments demonstrated that the MS were non-cytotoxic and possessed permissible hemolysis rate.The biofunctionalized thrombin@BaSO4/PVA/CS MS showed improved hemostatic capacity and facilitated hemostasis in vitro.Additionally,in vivo study performed on a rabbit ear embolization model confirmed the excellent X-ray radiopaque stability of the BaSO4/PVA/CS MS.Moreover,both the BaSO4/PVA/CS and thrombin@BaSO4/PVA/CS MS achieved superior embolization effects with progressive ischemic necrosis on the ear tissue and induced prominent ultrastructural changes in the endothelial cells.The findings of this study suggest that the developed MS could act as a radiopaque and hemostatic embolic agent to improve the embolization efficiency.Xiaohong Li Xiongfa Ji Kun Chen Muhammad Wajid Ullah Basen Li Jiameng Cao Lin Xiao Jun Xiao Guang Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:6
3幽门螺杆菌OmpP1蛋白的生物信息学分析显示文摘目的应用生物学软件预测幽门螺杆菌(Helicobacter pylori,Hp)ompP1基因编码蛋白(OmpP1)的结构与功能。方法从NCBI数据库中获取ompP1基因的相关信息,应用软件MEGAX 10.0.5构建Hp进化树,应用生物信息学软件分析OmpP1蛋白的氨基酸序列、理化性质、跨膜区、信号肽、糖基化和磷酸化位点、空间结构以及抗原表位。结果 ompP1基因核苷酸序列编码区长1 764 bp,编码587个氨基酸;生物信息学分析显示ompP1基因在不同菌株间的同源性为96.2%~97.17%,其编码的OmpP1蛋白是一种性质稳定、偏碱性的亲水蛋白;该蛋白无跨膜区和信号肽,含有糖基化和磷酸化位点;OmpP1二级结构中含α-螺旋178个,延长链162个,β转角37个,无规则卷曲210个,分别占30.32%、27.60%、6.30%和35.78%;三级结构分析显示OmpP1含有OM_channels蛋白家族特征性结构域;BepiPred1.0和SYFPEITHI9预测该蛋白含有22个B淋巴细胞和28个CTL淋巴细胞相关抗原表位。结论 Hp OmpP1为碱性亲水性蛋白,含有T、B细胞抗原表位,可为其抗原性研究和高效表位疫苗的研发提供理论参考。王海燕 何梦雅 余飞艳 张柯 Wajid Ameen Mirza 陈帅印 张荣光 段广才 2020中国病原生物学杂志2020,15,1:6

10Synthesis of yttrium and cerium doped ZnO nanoparticles as highly inexpensive and stable photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution显示文摘Yttrium and cerium co-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by combustion route and characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-vis DRS),photoluminescence(PL)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)techniques.The introduction of yttrium ions has efficiently increased the relative percentage of Ce^(3+)ions in ZnO.Yttrium and cerium co-doped ZnO shows efficient photo activity for hydrogen evolution(10.61 mmol/((g·h))higher than previously reported optimal value for rare earth codoped ZnO photocatalysts.This remarkably increased hydrogen evolution can be ascribed to the synergy between electronic anchoring effect of Y^(3+)/Y^(2+)and Ce^(4+)/Ce^(3+)redox couples.This report presents new idea for the synthesis of efficient photocatalyst using economical route and ion anchoring effect.The hydrogen evolution was also tested using Na_(2)S and Na_(2)SO_(3)as electron donors under visible light illumination.The synthesized photocatalysts also exhibit high stability.Irshad Ahmad Muhammad Shoaib Akhtar Mian Faisal Manzoor Muhammad Wajid Muhammad Noman Ejaz Ahmed Mukhtar Ahmad Waheed Qamar Khan Anwar M.Rana 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,4:2

13Development of bis-thiobarbiturates as successful urease inhibitors and their molecular modeling studies显示文摘Bis-thiobarbiturate derivatives 1–15 have been synthesized, characterized by1 HNMR and EI-MS and screened for urease inhibition. All compounds showed various degree of urease inhibitory activity with IC_(50) values ranging 7.45 0.12 74.24 0.81 mmol/L while the standard thiourea behaved normally(IC_(50) = 21.10 0.12). Compounds 1(IC_(50) = 7.45 0.12 μmol/L), 9(IC_(50) = 18.17 1.03 μmol/L) and 13(IC_(50) = 8.61 0.45 μmol/L) showed excellent urease inhibitory activity in the series. Molecular modeling studies were performed to understand the binding site with the bimetallic nickel center of the enzyme.Structure-activity relationship has also been established for these compounds. 14电压合成型直接潮流控制器显示文摘为有效地控制电网中的潮流,在相位和幅值可控交交变换器(AC-AC converter with controllable phase and amplitude,ACCPA)的基础上结合统一潮流控制器(Unified power flow controller,UPFC)和电压矢量合成技术,提出了一种电压合成型直接潮流控制器(Synthetic voltage direct power flow controller,SVDPFC)。该控制器由6个Buck交流变换单元、两个输入变压器、一个输出变压器以及两个选择开关组成,可以用来同时调节电网节点电压的幅值和相位,从而来调节电网中的有功潮流和无功潮流。SVDPFC的输出电压相对于输入电压,相位可在90°范围内调节,在两个选择开关的共同作用下其调节范围可以拓展到360°,本文详细阐述了SVDPFC的基本拓扑结构和工作方法并用仿真对其理论分析进行了验证。Wajid Ali Khan 张友军 路国庆 2020自动化技术与应用2020,39,6:2
15掺杂CaO对BaZrO_3坩埚制备及其与钛合金界面反应的影响显示文摘用BaCO_3、ZrO_2和CaO混合粉料,在1400℃经高温固相反应合成了BaZrO_3和CaO掺杂BaZrO_3粉料,采用冷等静压结合固相烧结技术,在1750℃烧成BaZrO_3和CaO掺杂BaZrO_3坩埚,并熔炼Ti2Ni合金,研究了CaO对BaZrO_3坩锅微观组织及其与钛合金界面反应的影响。结果表明:掺杂量为15%(摩尔分数)的CaO部分固溶进BaZrO_3,坩埚在烧成过程中,过量CaO部分在坩埚内部团聚,阻碍Ba_(1-x)Ca_xZrO_3晶粒的生长,导致坩埚内部出现较大孔洞;另一部分在坩埚壁析出,析出层主要由CaO和Ba_(1-x)Ca_xZrO_3组成,厚度约为70μm。BaZrO_3坩埚与钛合金界面反应层厚度约为270μm,而CaO掺杂BaZrO_3坩埚与合金并无明显界面反应层。陈光耀 李宝同 高鹏越 ALI Wajid 秦子威 鲁雄刚 李重河 2017硅酸盐学报2017,45,9:2

18Plant extract-loaded bacterial cellulose composite membrane for potential biomedical applications显示文摘Bacterial cellulose(BC)has been extensively explored as biomaterial for various biomedical applications owing to its non-toxic nature and unique structural morphology and impressive physicochemical and mechanical properties.However,its high production cost and lack of antimicrobial activity have restricted its large-scale production and therapeutic applications.Therefore,the current study is aimed to devise a strategy for low-cost BC production and develop its composite with bioactive materials to bless it with antimicrobial activity.Herein,5 mm thick reticulated fibrous and highly porous BC was produced by utilizing the wasted rotten tomatoes as the production medium.The produced bacterial cellulose waste(BCW)(i.e.,produced from wastes)was ex-situ modified with bioactive plant extract(PE)obtained from Euclea schimperi,and the bactericidal activity of the developed BCW/PE was evaluated against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative Escherichia coli through disc diffusion and colony forming unit(CFU)count methods.The BCW/PE composite showed high bactericidal activities against S.aureus and produced clear inhibition zone whereas negligible activity was observed against E.coli,indicating its bactericidal activity mainly against the Gram-positive bacterium.Overall,this study illustrates that there is a huge potential for developing valuable biomaterials from food wastes and utilizing their liquid holding capabilities for value-added applications in medical and pharmaceutical fields.Atiya Fatima Sumayia Yasir MohdShariq Khan Sehrish Manan Muhammad Wajid Ullah Mazhar Ul-Islam 2021Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2021,6,1:1
