| 1 | Atomically dispersed Au_1 catalyst towards efficient electrochemical synthesis of ammonia显示文摘Tremendous efforts have been devoted to explore energy-efficient strategies of ammonia synthesis to replace Haber–Bosch process which accounts for 1.4% of the annual energy consumption. In this study,atomically dispersed Au_1 catalyst is synthesized and applied in electrochemical synthesis of ammonia under ambient conditions. A high NH_4^+ Faradaic efficiency of 11.1% achieved by our Au_1 catalyst surpasses most of reported catalysts under comparable conditions. Benefiting from efficient atom utilization, an NH_4^+ yield rate of 1,305 lg h^(-1) mg_(Au)^(-1) has been reached, which is roughly 22.5 times as high as that by supported Au nanoparticles. We also demonstrate that by employing our Au_1 catalyst, NH4+can be electrochemically produced directly from N_2 and H_2 with an energy utilization rate of 4.02 mmol kJ^(-1). | 2 | Farmers'Exit from Land Operation in Rural China:Does the Price of Agricultural Mechanization Services Matter?显示文摘This study uses data covering 3,914 farm households,collected from Henan province in China,to investigate the links between the price of agricultural mechanization services and farmers'exit from land operation.The results indicate that the increasing price of agricultural mechanization services leads tofarmers leaving land operation,especially when the high sunk costs and the long-term breakeven period of self-owned machinery are considered.This effect is intensified by the rapid rural-urban migration in China.Further analysis reveals that the surge in service prices reduced land renting-in and encouraged non-grain production.Our analysis suggests that the agricultural mechanization service market in China tends to work against the survival of smallholder farmers.However,the price of agricultural mechanization services is conducive to eliminating less-productive farmers and cultivating new agricultural operators. | Tongwei Qiu S.T.Boris Choy Yifei Li Biliang Luo Jing Li | 2021 | China & World Economy2021,29,2: | 9 |

| 4 | Does Land Rent between Acquaintances Deviate from the Reference Point?Evidence from Rural China显示文摘This paper theoretically and empirically investigates whether acquaintance networks influence the deviation of land rent from the reference point advanced by Hart and Moore.The cofficient of variahce and the range of land rent are used to represent the degree of deviation from the reference point.Based on village-level data from the 2015 China Household Finance Survey,the estimated results indicate that land rent between acquaintances is more likely to significantly deviate from the reference point.Although rental transactions are conducted between acquaintances,larger deviations from the reference are also associated with a longer time to close deals.Our analysis using household-level data fiurther supports our findings,indicating that land rental markets embedded in the acquaintance networks of rural China are in a transition period and have characteristics of both relational and market orientation.The policy makers should introduce more outer village lesses or other market ingredients to increase the voluntary marketization of land rentals inside acquaintance networks. | Tongwei Qiu Biliang Luo Qinying He | 2020 | China & World Economy2020,28,3: | 5 |
| 5 | Highly sensitive ethanol gas sensor based on ultrathin nanosheets assembled Bi_2WO_6 with composite phase显示文摘Bismuth tungstate(Bi2 WO6) has many intriguing properties and has been the focus of studies in a variety of fields, especially photocatalysis. However, its application in gas-sensing has been seldom reported.Here, we successfully synthesized assembled hierarchical Bi2 WO6 which consists of ultrathin nanosheets with crystalline-amorphous composite phase by a one-step hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoemission spectroscopy(XPS), field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM) techniques were employed to characterize its composition, morphology, and microstructure. By taking advantage of its unique microstructure,phase composition, and large surface area, we show that the resulting Bi2 WO6 is capable of detecting ethanol gas with quick response(7 s) and recovery dynamic(14 s), extremely high sensitivity(Ra/Rg= 60.8@50 ppm ethanol) and selectivity. Additionally, it has excellent reproducibility and long-term stability(more than 50 d). The Bi2 WO6 outperform the existing Bi2 WO6-based and most of the other state-of-the-art sensing platforms. | 6 | Discovery of immune related factors in Fenneropenaeus chinensis by annotation of ESTs显示文摘A total of 10446 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) are obtained by a large scale sequencing of a cDNA library from cephalothorax of adult Fenneropenaeus chinensis . An EST analysis platform was built up based on local computers and bioinformatic techniques were used to annotate these ESTs in order to promptly find possible functional genes, especially for immune related factors. | 10 | Effect of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and nitric oxide on compressive neuralgia formation and maintenance显示文摘BACKGROUND:Previous studies have shown that extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2) and nitric oxide activation play a pivotal role in central sensitization and long-term neuronal plasticity induced by noxious stimulation.However,their effects on compressive neuralg formation and maintenance remain poorly understood.OBJECTIVE:To investigate effects of the specific inhibitor of ERK1/2 signal pathway U0126 on neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS) expression in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord in a compressive neuralgia rat model.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled experiment was performed at the Institu of Otolaryngology,Head and Neck Surgery,First Hospital of Jilin University from July 2008 to Marc 2009.MATERIALS:U0126(Bio-Mol,USA) was used in this study.METHODS:A total of 84 rats were randomly assigned to two groups.In the first part of the experiment,24 rats were used for behavioral testing,and they were randomly assigned to three sub-groups(n = 8):U0126,dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) and model control.In the second part of th experiment,60 rats were used for immunofluorescence and Western blot analysis,and they were randomly assigned to six sub-groups(n = 10):sham surgery,model control,U0126 post-injection 0.5,2,12 and 24 hours.Neuropathic pain was produced by chronic compression to the dorsal roo ganglion in rats from each sub-group.Rats in the U0126 group were administered a 5-μg U0126 intrathecal injection,and rats in the DMSO group were administered a 10-μL 5% DMSO intratheca injection.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Changes in mechanical and thermal hyperalgesia were observed using von Frey filaments and thermalqia stimular.Thermal and mechanical hyperalgesia were stimulated at different time points following intrathecal injection of U0126.nNOS activation and expression in the spinal cord dorsal horn were determined by immunofluorescence and Western blot analysis.RESULTS:Intrathecal injection of U0126 significantly attenuated chronic compression of dorsal root ganglion-induced mechanical and thermal hyperalgesia.Immunofluorescence staining results demonstrated that,compared to the sham surgery group,the number of nNOS-positive neurons was significantly increased in the injured spinal dorsal horn in the model control group(P < 0.01).However,compared to the model control group,there were significantly decreasing numbers of nNOS-positive neurons in the U0126 post-injection groups at 0.5-hour,2-hour,and 12-hour(P < 0.05).Western blot analysis revealed similar results.CONCLUSION:Decreased activity in the ERK signal pathway resulted in down regulated nNOS expression in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord.These results suggested that ERK is involved in nitric oxide reaction to neuropathic pain. | Tongwei Yang Xuesong Song Ping Wang Chunxi Wang Baoshun Lu | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,10: | 3 |
| 11 | Large piezoelectric response in a family of metal-free perovskite ferroelectric compounds from first-principles calculations显示文摘Metal-free organic perovskite ferroelectric materials have been shown recently to have a number of attractive properties,including high spontaneous polarization and piezoelectric coefficients.In particular,slow evaporation of solutions containing organic amines,inorganic ammoniums,and dilute hydrohalogen acid has been shown to produce several attractive materials in the MDABCO-NH_(4)-I_(3) family(MDABCO is N-methyl-N’-diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octonium).In the present work,we study by first-principles calculations the origin of polarizaiton,electronic density of state,piezoelectric response,and elastic properties of MDABCO-NH_(4)-X_(3)(X=Cl,Br,I).We find that the dipole moments of the MDABCO and NH_(4) groups are negligible,and the large spontaneous polarization of MDABCONH_(4)-I_(3) mainly results from MDABCO and NH_(4) being off-center relative to I ions.Although the piezoelectric response of organic materials is usually very weak,we observe large piezoelectric strain components,d_(x4) and d_(x5);the calculated d_(x5) is 119 pC/N for MDABCO-NH_(4)-Cl_(3),248 pC/N for MDABCO-NH_(4)-Br_(3) and 178 pC/N for MDABCO-NH_(4)-I_(3).The large value of dx5 is found to be closely related with the large value of elastic compliance tensor,s44.These results show that MDABCO-NH_(4)-X_(3) metal-free organic perovskites have large piezoelectric response with soft elastic properties. | Hui Wang Huihui Liu Zeyu Zhang Zihan Liu Zhenlong Lv Tongwei Li Weiwei Ju Haisheng Li Xiaowu Cai Han Han | 2019 | npj Computational Materials2019,,1: | 3 |

| 14 | Construction and characterization of a full-length infectious clone of Getah virus in vivo显示文摘Getah virus(GETV)is a mosquito-borne virus of the genus Alphavirus in the family Togaviridae and,in recent years,it has caused several outbreaks in animals.The molecular basis for GETV pathogenicity is not well understood.Therefore,a reverse genetic system of GETV is needed to produce genetically modified viruses for the study of the viral replication and its pathogenic mechanism.Here,we generated a CMV-driven infectious cDNA clone based on a previously isolated GETV strain,GX201808(pGETV-GX).Transfection of pGETV-GX into BHK-21 cells resulted in the recovery of a recombinant virus(rGETV-GX)which showed similar growth characteristics to its parental virus.Then three-day-old mice were experimentally infected with either the parental or recombinant virus.The recombinant virus showed milder pathogenicity than the parental virus in the mice.Based on the established CMV-driven cDNA clone,subgenomic promoter and two restriction enzyme sites(BamHI and EcoRI)were introduced into the region between E1 protein and 3’UTR.Then the green fluorescent protein(GFP),red fluorescent protein(RFP)and improved light-oxygen-voltage(iLOV)genes were inserted into the restriction enzyme sites.Transfection of the constructs carrying the reporter genes into BHK-21 cells proved the rescue of the recombinant reporter viruses.Taken together,the establishment of a reverse genetic system for GETV provides a valuable tool for the study of the virus life cycle,and to aid the development of genetically engineered GETVs as vectors for foreign gene expression. | Tongwei Ren Xiangling Min Qingrong Mo Yuxu Wang Hao Wang Ying Chen Kang Ouyang Weijian Huang Zuzhang Wei | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,3: | 2 |
