| 1 | Influence of slug flow on flow fields in a gas–liquid cylindrical cyclone separator:A simulation study显示文摘A simulation method for slug flow based on the VOF multiphase flow model was implemented in ANSYS?Fluent via a user-defined function(UDF)and applied to the dissipation of liquid slugs in the inlet pipe of a gas–liquid cylindrical cyclone(GLCC)separator while varying the expanding diameter ratio and angle of inclination.The dissipation of liquid slug in inlet pipe is analyzed under different expanding diameter ratios and inclination angles.In the inlet pipe,it is found that increasing expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle can reduce the liquid slug stability and enhancing the effect of gravity,which is beneficial to slug flow dissipation.In the cylinder,increasing the expanding diameter ratio can significantly reduce the liquid carrying depth of the gas phase but result in a slightly increase of the gas content in the liquid phase space.Moreover,increasing the inclination angle results in a decrease in the carrying depth of liquid in the vapor phase,but enhances gas–liquid mixing and increases the gas-carrying depth in the liquid phase.Taking into consideration the dual effects of slug dissipation in the inlet pipe and carrying capacity of gas/liquid spaces in the cylinder,the optimal expanding diameter ratio and inclination angle values can be determined. | Xiaoming Luo Jing Ren Tong Chen YibinWang Yuling Lü Limin He | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,8: | 2 |

| 3 | GAN-GLS:Generative Lyric Steganography Based on Generative Adversarial Networks显示文摘Steganography based on generative adversarial networks(GANs)has become a hot topic among researchers.Due to GANs being unsuitable for text fields with discrete characteristics,researchers have proposed GANbased steganography methods that are less dependent on text.In this paper,we propose a new method of generative lyrics steganography based on GANs,called GAN-GLS.The proposed method uses the GAN model and the largescale lyrics corpus to construct and train a lyrics generator.In this method,the GAN uses a previously generated line of a lyric as the input sentence in order to generate the next line of the lyric.Using a strategy based on the penalty mechanism in training,the GAN model generates non-repetitive and diverse lyrics.The secret information is then processed according to the data characteristics of the generated lyrics in order to hide information.Unlike other text generation-based linguistic steganographic methods,our method changes the way that multiple generated candidate items are selected as the candidate groups in order to encode the conditional probability distribution.The experimental results demonstrate that our method can generate highquality lyrics as stego-texts.Moreover,compared with other similar methods,the proposed method achieves good performance in terms of imperceptibility,embedding rate,effectiveness,extraction success rate and security. | Cuilin Wang Yuling Liu Yongju Tong Jingwen Wang | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,10: | 1 |

| 6 | Alternative splicing of POUM2 regulates embryonic cuticular formation and tanning in Bombyx mori显示文摘Insect cuticle is an apical extracellular matrix produced by the epidermis,tracheal,hind-and foregut epithelia during embryogenesis and renewed during molting and metamorphosis.However,the underlying regulatory mechanism for embryonic cuticle formation remains largely unclear.Here,we investigate the function of the transcription factor POUM2 in the embryonic cuticular formation in Bombyx mori,a model lepidopteran insect.Clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein-9-mediated knockout of POUM2 resulted in the defect of cuticular deposition,pigmentation,and sclerotization in the embryos.Differentially expressed transcripts analysis of 7-d-old embryos identified 174 up-or downregulated cuticular protein transcripts,8 upregulated chitin degradation transcripts,2 downregulated chitin synthesis transcripts and 48 up-or downregulated transcription factor transcripts in the POUM2−/−embryos.The expression levels of the key factors of the tyrosine metabolic pathway,such as tyrosine hydroxylase(Th),Dopa decarboxylase(DDC),and arylalkylamine N-acetyltransferase(aaNAT),were significantly decreased in the POUM2−/−embryos.POUM2 isoform POUM2-L specifically bound the POU cis-regulatory element(CRE)in the Th promoter and increased the transcription of Th,whereas POUM2-S could not bind the POU CRE,although it also increased the transcription of Th.Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Squid-1 directly bound the POUM2 pre-mRNA(messenger RNA)and inhibited the alternative splicing of POUM2-L to POUM2-S mRNA.These results suggest that POUM2 participates in the cuticular formation by regulating the chitin and cuticular protein synthesis and metabolism,and the cuticular pigmentation and sclerotization by regulating tyrosine metabolism during embryogenesis.This study provides new insights into novel function of POUM2 in embryogenesis. | Chunmei Tong Kang Zhang Zixia Rong Wanyu Mo Yuling Peng Sichun Zheng Qi-Li Feng Huimin Deng | 2023 | Insect Science2023,30,5: | 0 |
