6Effects of Al addition and cryogenic cyclic treatment on impact toughness of phase-transformable Ti-based bulk metallic glass composites显示文摘Developing bulk metallic glass composites(BMGCs)with high toughness is vital for their practical application.However,the influence of different microstructures on the impact toughness of BMGCs is still unclear.The effects of Al addition and cryogenic cyclic treatment(CCT)on the Charpy impact toughness,a K,at 298 and 77 K of a series of phase-transformable BMGCs are investigated in this work.It is found that deformation-induced martensitic transformation(DIMT)of theβ-Ti dendrites is the dominant toughening mechanism in the phase-transformable BMGCs at 298 K,but at 77 K,the toughness of BMGCs is primarily determined by the intrinsic toughness of the glass matrix.The addition of Al can moderately tune theβ-Ti phase stability,which then affects the amount of DIMT and impact toughness of the BMGCs at 298 K.However,at 77 K,Al addition causes a monotonic decrease in the toughness of the BMGCs due to the embrittlement of the glass matrix.It is found that CCT can effectively rejuvenate the phase-transformable BMGCs,which results in an enhanced impact toughness at 298 K.However,the toughness at 77 K monotonously decreases with increasing the number of CCT cycles,suggesting that the rejuvenation of the glass matrix affects the toughness at both 298 and 77 K of BMGCs,but in dramatically different ways.These findings reveal the influence of microstructures and CCT on the impact toughness of BMGCs and provide insights that could be useful for designing tougher BMGs and BMGCs.Tingyi Yan Long Zhang R.Lakshmi Narayan Jingyu Pang Yi Wu Huameng Fu Hong Li Upadrasta Ramamurty Haifeng Zhang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,9:1
7Facile preparation and efficient MnxCoy porous nanosheets for the sustainable catalytic process of soot显示文摘The pursuit of high-performance is worth considerable effort in catalysis for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. To develop redox catalysts with superior performance for soot combustion, a series of Mn_(x)Co_(y) oxides were synthesized using MgO template substitution.This method greatly improves the preparation and catalytic efficiency and is more in line with the current theme of green catalysts and sustainable development. The resulting Mn_(1)Co_(2.3) has a strong activation capability of gaseous oxygen due to a high concentration of Co^(3+) and Mn^(3+). The Mn doping enhanced the intrinsic activity by prompting oxygen vacancy formation and gaseous oxygen adsorption. The nanosheet morphology with abundant mesoporous significantly increased the solid–solid contact efficiency and improved the adsorption capability of gaseous reactants. 8Empirical Analysis of Agricultural Cultural Resources Value Evaluation under DEA Model显示文摘Agricultural culture is a productive activity about education and management.It aims at high efficiency and high quality,uses technology as its means,and takes nature as its carrier.Agricultural cultural resources are the product of the rapid development of modern economy.It promotes the development of the national economy and profoundly affects people's production and life.DEA model,also known as data envelope analysis method,is an algorithm that uses multiple data decision units for input and output training to obtain the final model.This article explains the concept and basic characteristics of agricultural culture.Through questionnaire surveys and expert interviews,we collected development data,screened human,material,and financial data,and calculated information on economic and social resources.On this basis,this paper establishes the evaluation index of agricultural culture based on DEA model.Then,through empirical analysis from a specific perspective,it can be concluded that increasing human,material and financial input can achieve economic and social benefits.Generally speaking,cultural investment can promote the development of the industry.The research results of this paper laid a theoretical foundation for the development of agricultural culture,and put forward a development model focusing on technology development,improving investment efficiency,and investing in material resources.Wei Liang Yang Ni Tingyi Li Xuejiao Lin Soo-Jin Chung 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,11:0
9Jujube witches’ broom phytoplasmas inhibit ZjBRC1-mediated abscisic acid metabolism to induce shoot proliferation显示文摘Jujube witches’broom(JWB)phytoplasmas parasitize the sieve tubes of diseased phloem and cause an excessive proliferation of axillary shoots from dormant lateral buds to favour their transmission.In previous research,two JWB effectors,SJP1 and SJP2,were identified to induce lateral bud outgrowth by disrupting ZjBRC1-mediated auxin flux.However,the pathogenesis of JWB disease remains largely unknown.Here,tissue-specific transcriptional reprogramming was examined to gain insight into the genetic mechanisms acting inside jujube lateral buds under JWB phytoplasma infection.JWB phytoplasmas modulated a series of plant signalling networks involved in lateral bud development and defence,including auxin,abscisic acid(ABA),ethylene,jasmonic acid,and salicylic acid.JWB-induced bud outgrowth was accompanied by downregulation of ABA synthesis within lateral buds.ABA application rescued the bushy appearances of transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing SJP1 and SJP2 in Col-0 and ZjBRC1 in the brc1-2 mutant.Furthermore,the expression of ZjBRC1 and ABA-related genes ZjHB40 and ZjNCED3 was negatively correlated with lateral main bud outgrowth in decapitated healthy jujube.Molecular evidence showed that ZjBRC1 interacted with ZjBRC2 via its N-terminus to activate ZjHB40 and ZjNCED3 expression and ABA accumulation in transgenic jujube calli.In addition,ZjBRC1 widely regulated differentially expressed genes related to ABA homeostasis and ABA signalling,especially by binding to and suppressing ABA receptors.Therefore,these results suggest that JWB phytoplasmas hijack the ZjBRC1-mediated ABA pathways to stimulate lateral bud outgrowth and expansion,providing a strategy to engineer plants resistant to JWB phytoplasma disease and regulate woody plant architecture to promote crop yield and quality.Fuli Ma Shanqi Zhang Yu Yao Mengting Chen Ning Zhang Mingsheng Deng Wei Chen Chi Ma Xinyue Zhang Chenglong Guo Xiang Huang Zhenyuan Zhang Yamei Li Tingyi Li Junyong Zhou Qibao Sun Jun Sun 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,9:0
10Mantle contributions to granitoids associated with Sn mineralization:Geochemical and isotopic evidence from the giant Dachang deposit,South China显示文摘Major Sn deposits are commonly linked to crust-derived and highly evolved granites,with magma generation aided by mantle heating.However,whether and how the mantle components contribute to Sn polymetallic mineralization remains unclear.In this study,in combination with a compilation of equivalent data in the region,we provide new constraints on this issue based on detailed investigations on the petrogenesis and metallogenic significance of granitoids including the causative batholith and later granodiorite porphyry dike in the giant Dachang Sn deposit from South China.The former has zircon U-Pb ages of 93-91 Ma and belongs to highly evolved S-type biotite granite,which experienced fractionation of massive feldspar.The latter shows zircon U-Pb ages of 90 Ma and displays I-type granite features.The batholith was mainly derived from the dehydration melting of biotite in the metasedimentary sources,as revealed by the relatively low whole-rock Pb contents(<30 ppm)and high Ba/Pb ratios(2.71-17.1)and initial T(ti-zr)of 790℃.Compared with the adjacent crust-derived S-type granites(-24.8--5.1)and I-type granites(-11.0 to-5.2),the Dachang S-type biotite granites present higher zirconεHf(t)values(-9.1 to-2.1).Furthermore,the low magmatic zirconδ18O values(6.2‰)and higher apatite LREE(3277-4114 ppm)and Sr(1137-1357 ppm)contents than of arc-type basic rocks were discerned.These characteristics jointly hint the contributions of mantle components.The higher initial T(ti-zr)(>850℃),whole-rock Mg#(52 to 58),apatiteεNd(t)(-9.2 to-6.5)and zirconεHf(t)(-7.6 to 2.5)values but lower zirconδ18O values(6.33 to 8.30‰)of the later granodiorite porphyry dike than those of the batholith also suggest that mantle material was involved in the generation of the dikes,which is evident by the variational features of zircon and apatite trace elements.In addition,at the zircon Hf<12000 ppm and Eu/Eu*>0.05,the higher zirconΔFMQ values(mostly from-1.8 to 2.0)and H2O contents(100-1100 ppm)of the Dachang granitoids than the pure crust-derived S-type granites(ΔFMQ=mostly from-3.7 to-1.5;H2O<100 ppm)imply that mantle materials involved are relatively rich in water and oxidized.These suggest that the addition of mantle components is conducive to the extraction of Sn from metasedimentary sources,and moderately facilitates the increase of oxygen fugacity which still maintains the incompatibility of Sn in magmas withΔFMQ<2.Also,the involvement of mantle components upgrades the H2O contents in S-type magmas,favoring the migration of ore-forming elements from magmas to hydrothermal fluids.The sediment-derived causative granites displayed higherεHf(t)andεNd(t)values with greater Sn tonnages of their associated world-class Sn polymetallic deposits,supporting the opinion that the contributions of mantle components play an important role in the generation of giant Sn deposits.Tingyi Wang Qihai Shu Xiaoping Xia Chao Li Yanning Wang Jiahao Chen Xiang Sun M.Santosh Qingfei Wang 2024Geoscience Frontiers2024,15,1:0
11Cryogenic wear behaviors of a metastable Ti-based bulk metallic glass composite显示文摘Bulk metallic glass composites(BMGCs)are proven to be excellent candidates for cryogenic engineering applications due to their remarkable combination of strength,ductility and toughness.However,few efforts have been done to estimate their wear behaviors that are closely correlated to their practical service.Here,we report an improvement of∼48%in wear resistance for a Ti-based BMGC at the cryogenic temperature of 113 K as compared to the case at 233 K.A pronounced martensitic transformation(β-Ti→α''-Ti)was found to coordinate deformation underneath the worn surface at 233 K but was significantly suppressed at 113 K.This temperature-dependent structural evolution is clarified by artificially inducing a pre-notch by FIB cutting on aβ-Ti crystal,demonstrating a strain-dominated martensitic transformation in the BMGC.The improved wear resistance and suppressed martensitic transformation in BMGC at 113 K is associated with the increased strength and strong confinement of metallic glass on metastable crystalline phase at the cryogenic temperature.The current work clarifies the superior cryogenic wear resistance of metastable BMGCs,making them excellent candidates for safety-critical wear applications at cryogenic temperatures.Yue Ren Tingyi Yan Zhuobin Huang Qing Zhou Ke Hua Xiaolin Li Yin Du Qian Jia Long Zhang Haifeng Zhang Haifeng Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,3:0
