1Multigene tracking of quasispecies in viral persistence and clearance of hepatitis C virus显示文摘AIM: To investigate the evaluation of hepatitis C virus (HCV) quasispecies in the envelope region and its relationship with the outcome of acute hepatitis C. METHODS: HCV quasispecies were characterized in specimens collected every 2-6 mo from a cohort of acutely HCV-infected subjects. We evaluated two individuals who spontaneously cleared viremia and three individuals with persistent viremia by cloning 33 1-kb amplicons that spanned E1 and the 5' half of E2, including hypervariable region 1 (HVR1). To assess the quasispecies complexity and to detect variants for sequencing, 33 cloned cDNAs representing each specimen were assessed bya combined method of analysis of a single-stranded conformational polymorphism and heteroduplex analysis. The rates of both synonymous and nonsynonymous substitutions for the E1, HVR1 and E2 regions outside HVR1 were analyzed.RESULTS: Serum samples collected from chronic phase of infection had higher quasispecies complexity than those collected from acute phase of infection in all individuals examined. The genetic diversity (genetic distance) within HVR1 was consistently higher than that in the complete E1 (0.0322±0.0068 vs-0.0020±0.0014, P<0.05) and E2 regions outside HVR1 (0.0322±0.0068 vs0.0017±0.0011, P<0.05) in individuals with persistent viremia, but did not change markedly over time in those with clearance of viremia. For individuals with persistent viremia, the rate of nonsynonymous substitutions within the HVR1 region (2.76×10-3±1.51×10-3) predominated and gradually increased, as compared with that in the E1 and E2 regions outside HVR1 (0.23×10-3±0.15×10-3, 0.50×10-3±0.10×10-3).By contrast, the rates of both nonsynonymous and synonymous substitutions for the E1 and E2 regions including HVR1 were consistently lower in individuals withclearance of viremia. 9Exploring 2D projection and 3D spatial information for aircraft 6D pose显示文摘The 6D pose estimation is important for the safe take-off and landing of the aircraft using a single RGB image. Due to the large scene and large depth, the exiting pose estimation methods have unstratified performance on the accuracy. To achieve precise 6D pose estimation of the aircraft, an end-to-end method using an RGB image is proposed. In the proposed method, the2D and 3D information of the keypoints of the aircraft is used as the intermediate supervision,and 6D pose information of the aircraft in this intermediate information will be explored. Specifically, an off-the-shelf object detector is utilized to detect the Region of the Interest(Ro I) of the aircraft to eliminate background distractions. The 2D projection and 3D spatial information of the pre-designed keypoints of the aircraft is predicted by the keypoint coordinate estimator(Kp Net).The proposed method is trained in an end-to-end fashion. In addition, to deal with the lack of the related datasets, this paper builds the Aircraft 6D Pose dataset to train and test, which captures the take-off and landing process of three types of aircraft from 11 views. Compared with the latest Wide-Depth-Range method on this dataset, our proposed method improves the average 3D distance of model points metric(ADD) and 5° and 5 m metric by 86.8% and 30.1%, respectively. 11Numerical Simulation of U-Shaped Metal Rings in a Wind-Sand Environment显示文摘The interaction of U-shaped rings used for power transmission hardware with a wind-sand field is simulated numerically.A standard kturbulence model is used in synergy with an Eulerian-Lagrangian approach.The results show that the wind pressure on the windward side of the U-shaped ring is the highest,a negative pressure zone appears on both sides of the U-shaped ring,while a Kármán Vortex Street is created on its leeward side.There are three possible regimes of motion for the sand grains in the wind field.Sand grains with size below 0.125 mm can follow the airflow directly into the contact area of two U-shaped rings.When the sand size is about 0.1 mm,the number of sand grains that are blown into the contact area attains a maximum.Through the simulation of U-shaped rings in the wind-sand field,the dynamics of such processes are explained in detail,thereby providing relevant information for the subsequent protection and design of connecting hardware used for power transmission.Songchen Wang Xinmei Li Cheng Chai Gen Wang Caibin Lu 2021Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2021,17,3:0

13Fast Evaluation of Bounded Slice-Line Grid显示文摘Bounded Slice-line Grid (BSG). is an elegant representation of block placement, because it is very intuitionistic and has the advantage of handling various placement constraints. However, BSG has attracted little attention because its evaluation is very time-consuming. This paper proposes a simple algorithm independent of the BSG size to evaluate the BSG representation in O(nloglogn) time, where n is the number of blocks. In the algorithm, the BSG-rooms are assigned with integral coordinates firstly, and then a linear sorting algorithm is applied on the BSG-rooms where blocks are assigned to compute two block sequences, from which the block placement can be obtained in O(n log log n) time. As a consequence, the evaluation of the BSG is completed in O(n log log n) time, where n is the number of blocks. The proposed algorithm is much faster than the previous graph-based O(n2) algorithm.
