2A composite of Ni-Fe-Zn layered double hydroxides/biochar for atrazine removal from aqueous solution显示文摘This study assembled corn stalk-derived biochar(BC)with layered double hydroxide(LDH)through a rapid coprecipitation of biochar and metal(Ni/Fe/Zn)hydroxide precipitates.A BC and LDH composite(BC-LDH)and modified BC-LDH material after heating(BC-LDH-P)were prepared successfully for atrazine adsorptive removal.The physicochemical properties of the synthesized samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Batch experiments were conducted to study the sorption of atrazine onto BC,BC-LDH,and BC-LDH-P from the aqueous solution.The adsorption of atrazine onto BC-LDH and BC-LDH-P were performed following with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model,and the sorption isotherms agreed well with the Freundlich fitting model.The adsorption amounts of the three materials are arranged in descending order is as follows:BC-LDH-P>BC-LDH>BC(143.15>123.10>95.93 mg g−1,respectively).Due to the high crystallinity of the LDH material and the high binding degree with biochar,Ni/Fe/Zn-LDH biochar composites offer a potential alternative to a carbon-based adsorbent for atrazine removal from aqueous solution.Yifan Wang Jiaming Kang Simeng Jiang Hui Li Zheyi Ren Qinbo Xu Qun Jiang Wenzhu Liu Ruizhen Li Ying Zhang 2020Biochar2020,2,4:2
3Kinetic Limits of Graphite Anode for Fast‑Charging Lithium‑Ion Batteries显示文摘Fast-charging lithium-ion batteries are highly required,especially in reducing the mileage anxiety of the widespread electric vehicles.One of the biggest bottlenecks lies in the sluggish kinetics of the Li^(+)intercalation into the graphite anode;slow intercalation will lead to lithium metal plating,severe side reactions,and safety concerns.The premise to solve these problems is to fully understand the reaction pathways and rate-determining steps of graphite during fast Li^(+)intercalation.Herein,we compare the Li^(+)diffusion through the graphite particle,interface,and electrode,uncover the structure of the lithiated graphite at high current densities,and correlate them with the reaction kinetics and electrochemical performances.It is found that the rate-determining steps are highly dependent on the particle size,interphase property,and electrode configuration.Insufficient Li^(+)diffusion leads to high polarization,incomplete intercalation,and the coexistence of several staging structures.Interfacial Li^(+)diffusion and electrode transportation are the main rate-determining steps if the particle size is less than 10μm.The former is highly dependent on the electrolyte chemistry and can be enhanced by constructing a fluorinated interphase.Our findings enrich the understanding of the graphite structural evolution during rapid Li^(+)intercalation,decipher the bottleneck for the sluggish reaction kinetics,and provide strategic guidelines to boost the fast-charging performance of graphite anode.Suting Weng Gaojing Yang Simeng Zhang Xiaozhi Liu Xiao Zhang Zepeng Liu Mengyan Cao Mehmet Nurullah Ateş Yejing Li Liquan Chen Zhaoxiang Wang Xuefeng Wang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:1
4Characteristics of Partial Discharge in Oil-paper Insulated Needle Plate Electrode Model Under Composite AC-DC Voltage显示文摘Converter transformers are the core device in ultrahigh voltage direct current(UHVDC)transmission systems,and the oil-paper insulation at its rectifying valve side deals with the composite AC-DC voltage.A detailed investigation of the partial discharge(PD)mechanism in the oil-paper insulation under the composite AC-DC voltage is,therefore,very important.The oilpaper insulated needle plate electrode simulation model for the electric field and charge distribution can be established using hydrodynamic drift-diffusion theory and bipolar charge carrier theory,and the simulation results can reflect the morphological changes of PD.The development characteristics of PD under composite AC-DC voltage are researched.In addition,the effects of simulation time,the AC-DC component proportion,and model parameters on PD are also explored.Results indicate that differences in applied voltage,interface charge,and geometry structure can cause changes in the electric field strength,which consequently influences the PD process in the simulation model.Oil-immersed paperboard is a type of liquid-immersed dielectric(LID).When the LID is arranged in perpendicular,only the positive streamers have narrow channels oriented toward the LID.When the LID is arranged in parallel,the PDs are in the form of creeping discharges and the negative streamers are more dispersed.The development characteristics of PD and its influencing factors reported here may provide theoretical and simulation support to explain the physical mechanism of PD at the rectifying valve side of the converter transformer.Hongshun Liu Zhitong Xue Simeng Li Qingquan Li Dongxin He Tian Xia Jian Guo 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,4:1
5Evolution of pore fluid of low porosity and permeability reservoir in Qinnan Sag:a case study of 29-2 structurein Qinhuangdao area显示文摘The southeast depression of Qinnan Sag is a potential oil-gas exploration region in the Bohai Sea area. With the analysis of large quantity of rock thin sections,scanning electron microscope and the physical property data of reservoir,the authors studied the petrological characteristics and the evolution of pore and fluid of sandstone in the deeper strata in 29-2 structure in Qinhuangdao area. The results show that the evolutionary tendency of Paleogene sandstone reservoir porous fluid in research area is changed from alkaline porous fluid to acidic porous fluid,and back to alkaline porous fluid. 9Dietary zero-dimensional fullerene supplementation improves the meat quality,lipid metabolism,muscle fiber characteristics,and antioxidative status in finishing pigs显示文摘With the increasing demand for high-quality pork,more nutritional substances have been studied for the regulation of meat quality.Zero-dimensional fullerenes(C60)can modulate the biological behavior of a variety of cell lines and animals.In this study,we report the biological effects of C60 on finishing pigs at different concentrations.A total of 24 barrows(Duroc×Large White×Landrace),with an average body weight of 21.01±0.98 kg,were divided into 3 groups and each treated daily with C60(100 or 200 mg per kg feed)or a control diet until the end of the experiment.Our results showed that dietary C60 supplementation improved flesh color,marbling scores,and flavor amino acid contents of longissimus dorsi(LD)of growing-finishing pigs(P<0.05).C60 improved meat quality by regulating lipid metabolism and muscle fiber morphology by mediating the expression of genes,L-lactic dehydrogenase(LDH),myosin heavy chain(MyHC)IIa,MyHCIIb,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ(PPARγ),and fatty acid transport protein 1(FATP1)(P<0.05).Moreover,C60 substantially promoted the mRNA expression of antioxidant enzyme genes(P<0.05),which also contributed to improving meat quality.These findings have important implications for the application of C60 in the livestock industry,especially for improving the meat quality of fattening pigs.Simeng Liao Guang Liu Bie Tan Ming Qi Xin Wu Jianjun Li Xiaoqing Li Changfeng Zhu Jiamei Huang Shuo Zhang Yulong Tang Yulong Yin 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,4:0
10Somatic Embrygenesis of Symplocos paniculata显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to provide a new way for the rapid reproduction of Symplocos paniculata.[Methods]With mature embryos of S.paniculata as explants,through the study of somatic embryogenesis,the effects of different media on the induction and differentiation of S.paniculata somatic embryos were discussed,and the somatic embryogenesis system for S.paniculata was preliminarily established.[Results]Calli suitable for somatic embryogenesis could be induced using modified MS(referred to as GMS)as the basic medium with the addition of 0.2 mg/L 6-BA and 0.1 mg/L NAA;the best medium combination for somatic embryo differentiation was GMS+0.25 mg/L 6-BA+0.15 mg/L NAA,and the differentiation rate could reach 71.99%;and plant regeneration needed to be carried out at low sugar concentrations.[Conclusions]This study provides a technical basis for resources protection,genetic transformation,artificial seed production,and large-scale development and utilization of S.paniculata.Yan YANG Lijuan JIANG Changzhu LI Beilei XIE Wenjun LI Qiang LIU Simeng LI 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,4:0
11Temperature/pH dual-responsive reversible morphology evolution of block copolymer microparticles under three-dimensional confinement显示文摘Development of block copolymer(BCP)microparticles with switchable morphology in response to external stimuli is important for exploiting new intelligent materials.In this work,thermo/p H dual-responsive nanoparticles(NPs)were employed as a cosurfactant to modulate the self-assembly morphology of polystyrene-b-poly(2-vinylpyridine)(PS-b-P2VP)microparticles within confined emulsion droplets.The co-surfactant was synthesized by grafting poly(acrylic acid)-b-poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)onto the surface of Fe3O4NP.The introduction of the dual-responsive co-surfactant enabled thermo/p H dual-responsive reversible morphology transition of the PS-b-P2VP microparticles by tailoring the hydrophobicity and interfacial affinity of the cosurfactant.By using this strategy,the thermo-inert PS-b-P2VP self-assembled into pupa-like microparticles at T=10℃ and p H7.5,which could transform into tulip-like microparticles when T was increased to 50℃.When the p H value was increased to 11,the pupa-like particles turned into onion-like microparticles although the PS-b-P2VP was inert to alkali.However,the pupa-like microparticles remained unchanged when both T and p H were simultaneously increased.The PAA-b-PNIPAM-grafted Fe3O4NP surfactants showed obvious advantages over the linear PAA-b-PNIPAM surfactants in modulating the morphology transition,since the linear PAA-b-PNIPAM could not induce the reversible shape transition of microparticles.Our work provides an efficient strategy to achieve reversible shape transformation of BCP microparticles while the internal phase structure is preserved,which may be utilized to switch the structural color properties of BCP microparticles.Mengmeng Zhang Zaiyan Hou Simeng Liu Guoqiang Han Meirong Tian Jintao Zhu Jiangping Xu 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,12:0
12The Clinical Application Value of Selective Unifocalization in the Treatment of Severe Pulmonary Artery Atresia with Ventricular Septal Defect显示文摘Background:This study aims to explore the efficacy of selective unifocalization(UF)for major aortopulmonary collateral arteries(MAPCAs)unifocalization in children with pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect(PA/VSD).Methods:A retrospective analysis of 13 patients with PA/VSD/MAPCAs who underwent surgery from June 2017 to December 2019.Sex,age,preoperative cardiovascular angiography test results and McGoon ratio were collected.The properties of the collateral arteries were evaluated by angiography,and selective UF for the“dendritic”MAPCAs and ligation of MAPCAs demonstrating distortion and resistance.Results:A total of 13 severe patients underwent one-stage repair,of which 1 case underwent ventricular septal fenestration and died after 2 weeks of ECMO support.The median age was 37 months,and a median weight was 14.0 kg.A right ventricular to aortic systolic pressure ratio(pRV/pAo)of no more than 0.5 was achieved in 12 living patients.Conclusion:Selective unifocalization based on MAPCAs morphology can achieved a good outcome at the early stage.This surgical concept might be provided a novel insight into treatment for some of the subgroups presenting with this complex form of PA/VSD/MAPCAs.Jinyang Liu Bo Peng Xianchao Jiang Simeng Zhang Jiachen Li Lizhi Lv Qiang Wang Xiang Li 2021Congenital Heart Disease2021,16,1:0
13The exploration of flow pattern in the superior vena cava of healthy adults:A 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging study显示文摘Our study sought to investigate the blood flow pattern in the superior vena cava(SVC)of healthy adults and to describe the development and characteristics of the flow pattern using 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).4D flow MRI data with full coverage of SVC and brachiocephalic veins(BVs)were acquired with a 3-Testa MRI in thirty healthy adults(age:28.70±9.09).Hemodynamic parameters in the SVC,including velocity,velocity vector,flow visualization(pathlines,streamlines),flow waveform and energy loss,were obtained with specialized commercial post-processing software based on 4D flow MRI data.This study found that:(1)The SVC has a pulsating flow waveform with double peaks.(2)Based on BVs flow of the SVC pathline visualization,flow patterns could be divided into three development types:twining(n=14),untwining(n=)and no helical flow(n=7).(3)With the decreasing blood velocity,helical flow areas tended to gradually extend.(4)There were no significant differences in most hemodynamic parameters among the three types.The exploration of the blood flow characteristics of normal SVC may be the first step for capturing pathogenic features before the patients develop symptoms with a certain positive significance.The potential physiological significance of these phenomena deserves more exploration in future studies.Huaxia Pu Haoyao Cao Yubo Fan Jinge Zhang Simeng Wang Zhan Liu Xiaoyue Zhou Ning Jin Tinghui Zheng Liqing Peng 2023Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2023,,2:0
14Atractylenolide-I covalently binds to CYP11B2,selectively inhibits aldosterone synthesis, and improves hyperaldosteronism显示文摘Hyperaldosteronism is a common disease that is closely related to endocrine hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases. Cytochrome P450 11 B2(CYP11 B2), an important enzyme in aldosterone(ALD) synthesis, is a promising target for the treatment of hyperaldosteronism. However, selective inhibitors targeting CYP11 B2 are still lacking due to the high similarity with CYP11 B1. In this study,atractylenolide-I(AT-I) was found to significantly reduce the production of ALD but had no effect on cortisol synthesis, which is catalyzed by CYP11 B1. Chemical biology studies revealed that due to the presence of Ala320, AT-I is selectively bound to the catalytic pocket of CYP11 B2, and the C8/C9 double bond of AT-I can be epoxidized, which then undergoes nucleophilic addition with the sulfhydryl group of Cys450 in CYP11 B2.
