| 1 | Discrete element modeling of ice loads on ship hulls in broken ice fields显示文摘Ice loads on a ship hull affect the safety of the hull structure and the ship maneuvering performance in ice-covered regions.A discrete element method(DEM)is used to simulate the interaction between drifting ice floes and a moving ship.The pancake ice floes are modelled with three-dimensional(3-D)dilated disk elements considering the buoyancy,drag force and additional mass induced by the current.The ship hull is modelled with 3D disks with overlaps.Ice loads on the ship hull are determined through the contact detection between ice floe element and ship hull element and the contact force calculation.The influences of different ice conditions(current velocities and directions,ice thicknesses,concentrations and ice floe sizes)and ship speeds are also examined on the dynamic ice force.The simulated results are compared qualitatively well with the existing field data and other numerical results.This work can be helpful in the ship structure design and the navigation security in ice-covered fields. | JI Shunying LI Zilin LI Chunhua SHANG Jie | 2013 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11: | 12 |

| 3 | A viscoelastic-plastic constitutive model with Mohr-Coulomb yielding criterion for sea ice dynamics显示文摘A new viscoelastic-plastic (VEP) constitutive model for sea ice dynamics was developed based on continuum mechanics. This modelconsists of four components: Kelvin-Vogit viscoelastic model, Mohr-Coulomb yielding criterion, associated normality flow rule forplastic rehololgy, and hydrostatic pressure. The numerical simulations for ice motion in an idealized rectangular basin were made usingsmoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method, and compared with the analytical solution as well as those based on the modified vis-cous plastic(VP) model and static ice jam theory. These simulations show that the new VEP model can simulate ice dynamics accu-rately. The new constitutive model was further applied to simulate ice dynamics of the Bohai Sea and compared with the traditionalVP, and modified VP models. | 4 | Chemical Composition and Antimicrobial Activity of Essential Oil of Asarum caulescene显示文摘Both essential oils of fresh and air-dried Asarum caulescene (Maxim.) were analyzed by GC-MS in three different polarities. The results show that thirty-four components were identified in the oils, and main compounds of both oils were β-pinene (7.63% vs. 20.72%), 2-carene (8.94% vs. 7.99%), β-phellandrene (7.80% vs. 14.39%), 1,8-cineole (8.91% vs. 13.29%) and germacrone (46.64% vs. 6.64% ), however, the content of monoterpene hydrocarbons(30.29% vs. 52.30% ) and oxygenated sesquiterpenes( 47.69% vs. 10.65%) of both oils was different. The antimicrobial activity of the oil was evaluated against 3 fungi and 11 bacteria including 7 clinical isolated strains. | 10 | Proteomics study of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia reveals the Fc fragment of the IgG-binding protein as a serum biomarker and implicates potential therapeutic targets显示文摘Macrolide and corticosteroid resistance has been reported in patients with Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)pneumonia(MPP).MP clearance is difficult to achieve through antibiotic treatment in sensitive patients with severe MPP(SMPP).SMPP in children might progress to airway remodeling and even bronchiolitis/bronchitis obliterans.Therefore,identifying serum biomarkers that indicate MPP progression and exploring new targeted drugs for SMPP treatment require urgency.In this study,serum samples were collected from patients with general MPP(GMPP)and SMPP to conduct proteomics profiling.The Fc fragment of the IgG-binding protein(FCGBP)was identified as the most promising indicator of SMPP.Biological enrichment analysis indicated uncontrolled inflammation in SMPP.ELISA results proved that the FCGBP level in patients with SMPP was substantially higher than that in patients with GMPP.Furthermore,the FCGBP levels showed a decreasing trend in patients with GMPP but the opposite trend in patients with SMPP during disease progression.Connectivity map analyses identified 25 possible targeted drugs for SMPP treatment.Among them,a mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase(mTOR)inhibitor,which is a macrolide compound and a cell proliferation inhibitor,was the most promising candidate for targeting SMPP.To our knowledge,this study was the first proteomics-based characterization of patients with SMPP and GMPP. | Jinrong Liu Rongfang Shen Lin Feng Shujun Cheng Jun Chen Ting Xiao Shunying Zhao | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3: | 3 |
| 11 | Probability analysis of contact forces in quasi-solid-liquid phase transition of granular shear flow显示文摘The quasi-solid-liquid phase transition exists widely in different fields,and attracts more attention due to its instinctive mechanism.The structure of force chains is an important factor to describe the phase transition properties.In this study,the discrete element model(DEM) is adopted to simulate a simple granular shear flow with period boundary condition on micro scale.The quasi-solid-liquid phase transition is obtained under various volume fractions and shear rates.Based on the DEM results,the probability distribution functions of the inter-particle contact force are obtained in different shear flow phases.The normal,tangential and total contact forces have the same distributions.The distribution can be fitted as the exponential function for the liquid-like phase,and as the Weibull function for the solid-like phase.To describe the progressive evolution of the force distribution in phase transition,we use the Weibull function and Corwin-Ngan function,respectively.Both of them can determine the probability distributions in different phases and the Weibull function shows more reasonable results.Finally,the force distributions are discussed to explain the characteristics of the force chain in the phase transition of granular shear flow.The distribution of the contact force is an indicator to determine the flow phase of granular materials.With the discussions on the statistical properties of the force chain,the phase transition of granular matter can be well understood. | JI ShunYing | 2013 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,2: | 3 |

| 15 | LIN9 confers paclitaxel resistance in triple negative breast cancer cells by upregulating CCSAP显示文摘LIN9 functions to regulate cell mitotic process.Dysregulation of LIN9 expression is associated with development of human cancers.In this study we assessed the association of LIN9 expression with paclitaxel resistance and clarified the underlying mechanisms for the first time.LIN9 expression in breast cancer tissues was retrieved from publicly available online databases and statistically analyzed.Human TNBC cell lines MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 and their corresponding paclitaxelresistant sublines 231PTX and 468PTX were used to assess the expression of LIN9 by qRT-PCR and Western blot,cell growth by cell counting,cell viability by MTS assay,and cell apoptosis by flow cytometry.The data showed that high LIN9 expression in breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy was related to poor overall survival(OS).LIN9 expression was upregulated in paclitaxel-resistant TNBC cells compared to their parental cells.Knockdown of LIN9 or treatment of paclitaxel-resistant TNBC cells with a bromo-and extra-terminal domain inhibitor(BETi)JQ1 which also decreased LIN9 expression enhanced the sensitivity of paclitaxel-resistant TNBC cells to paclitaxel.Mechanistically,decreased LIN9 in resistant cell lines reduced tumor cell viability,promoted multinucleated cells formation and induced tumor cell apoptosis,potentially by directly regulating microtubule-binding protein CCSAP.In conclusion,high LIN9 expression contributed to poor clinical outcomes and paclitaxel resistance in TNBC and BETi,targeting LIN9 expression,could be a reversible drug for PTX-resistant TNBC patients. | Hongna Lai Rui Wang Shunying Li Qianfeng Shi Zijie Cai Yudong Li Yujie Liu | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,3: | 2 |

MB in each sample were observed by TEM after being cultured under 8-18℃, room temperature (RT), 25℃, 26℃ and 30℃ conditions. In general, MB are distributed widely in loess-paleosol sequences, fewer in loess layers with predomination of vibriod in shape. However, there are more MB in paleosol layers with morphological varieties such as roddish, vibriod and occasionally approximately coccus.
