1Microstructure and Oxidation Behaviors of Nano-particles Strengthened NiCoCrAlY Cladded Coatings on Superalloys显示文摘Nano-particles which can largely improve the microstructure and oxidation resistance of materials are often used as a strengthening component in metal matrix composites. However, few studies were reported on its application in the bond coat of duplex structure thermal barrier coating(TBC). Three kinds of NiCoCrAlY coatings strengthened by different nano-particles with the same addition (1%, mass fraction) were prepared by the laser cladding technique on Ni-based superalloy substrates, aiming to study the effects of the nano-particles on microstructure and oxidation resistance of NiCoCrAlY coatings (the bond coat of the duplex structure thermal barrier coatings). Scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffractometer(XRD) and thermogravimetry were employed to investigate their morphologies, phases and cyclic oxidation behaviors in atmosphere at 1 050℃, compared with the coating without nano-particles. With the addition of nano-particles, the growth pattern of the grains at the interface changed from epitaxial growth to non-epitaxial growth or part-epitaxial growth; slender dendrites were broken and cellularized; cracks and pores were restrained; and the oxidation weight-gain and the stripping resistance of the oxide scale were improved as well. Among the three kinds of nano-particles, the SiC nano-particles showed the most improvement on microstructure, while the CeO2 nano-particles were insufficient, but its effects on the oxidation resistance are the same as those of the SiC nano-particles. Based on the discussions of the influence mechanism, it is believed that CeO2 nano-particles would show better improvement than SiC nano-particles if the proper amount is added and the proper preparation technique of micro-nanometer composite powders is adopted, with the synergistic action of nanometer effect and reactive element effect.WANG Hongyu ZUO Dunwen CHEN Xinfeng YU Shouxin GU Yuanzhi 2010Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,3:11
2Reverse Genetic Identification of CRN1 and its Distinctive Role in Chlorophyll Degradation in Arabidopsis显示文摘Recent identification of NYE1/SGR1 brought up a new era for the exploration of the regulatory mechanism of Chlorophyll (Chl) degradation.Cluster analysis of senescence associated genes with putative chloroplast targeting sequences revealed several genes sharing a similar expression pattern with NYE1.Further characterization of available T-DNA insertion lines led to the discovery of a novel stay-green gene CRN1 (Co-regulated with NYE1).Chl breakdown was significantly restrained in crn1-1 under diversified senescence scenarios,which is comparable with that in acd1-20,but much more severe than that in nye11.Notably,various Chl binding proteins,especially trimeric LHCP II,were markedly retained in crn1-1 four days after dark-treatment,possibly due to a lesion in disassociation of protein-pigment complex.Nevertheless,the photochemical efficiency of PSII in crn1-1 declined,even more rapidly,two days after dark-treatment,compared to those in Col-0 and nye1-1.Our results suggest that CRN1 plays a crucial role in Chl degradation,and that loss of its function produces various side-effects,including those on the breakdown of Ch-protein complex and the maintenance of the residual photosynthetic capability during leaf senescence.Guodong Ren Qian Zhou Shouxin Wu Yufan Zhang Lingang Zhang Jirong Huang Zhenfei Sun Benke Kuai 2010Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2010,52,5:8

6Differentiation of fetal pancreatic stem cells into neuron-like and islet-like cells in vitro显示文摘Pancreatic stem cells were isolated and cultured from aborted human fetal pancreases of gestational age 14-20 weeks. They were seeded at a density of 1 × 104 in serum-free media for differentiation into neuron-like cells, expressing β-tubulin III and glial fibrillary acidic protein. These neuron-like cells displayed a synapse-like morphology and appeared to form a neuronal network. Pancreatic stem cells were also seeded at a density of 1 × 105 for differentiation into islet-like cells, expressing insulin and glucagon, with an islet-like morphology. These cells had glucose-stimulated secretion of human insulin and C-peptide. 7Tensile and Isothermal Fatigue Behaviors of Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr Alloy at High Temperature显示文摘Tensile and isothermal fatigue tests were carried out on an as-rolled Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr alloy and its heat-treated counterpart at different temperatures. The experimental results show that the ultimate tensile strengths of two alloys decrease very slowly with increasing temperature up to 200?C. The ultimate tensile strength of heat-treated Mg-12Gd-3Y-0.5Zr is slight lower than that of as-rolled counterpart; however, the fatigue strength of heat-treated alloy is higher. The mechanism of fatigue failure was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). 8Biopolymer Nanofibers for Nanogenerator Development显示文摘The development of nanogenerators(NGs)with optimal performances and functionalities requires more novel materials.Over the past decade,biopolymer nanofibers(BPNFs)have become critical sustainable building blocks in energy-related fields because they have distinctive nanostructures and properties and can be obtained from abundant and renewable resources.This review summarizes recent advances in the use of BPNFs for NG development.We will begin by introducing various strategies for fabricating BPNFs with diverse structures and performances.Then,we will systematically present the utilization of polysaccharide and protein nanofibers for NGs.We will mainly focus on the use of BPNFs to generate bulk materials with tailored structures and properties for assembling of triboelectric and piezoelectric NGs.The use of BPNFs to construct NGs for the generation of electricity from moisture and osmosis is also discussed.Finally,we illustrate our personal perspectives on several issues that require special attention with regard to future developments in this active field.Lulu Bai Qing Li Ya Yang Shengjie Ling Haipeng Yu Shouxin Liu Jian Li Wenshuai Chen 2021Research2021,,1:1
