Effect of moxibustion treatment on cell apoptosis and expressions of heat shock protein and second mitochondrial activator of caspase in acute gastric mucosal lesion of rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of moxibustion-acupoint treatment with acupoints of Zusanli(ST 36) and Zhongwan(RN 12) on cell apoptosis and the expressions of heat shock protein(HSP) 60,HSP70 and second mitochondrial activator of caspase(Smac) in rat models of acute gastric mucosal lesion(AGML),and explore the mechanisms underlying protection of gastric mucosal lesion.METHODS:Twenty-four Sprague Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups, blank controlled group(group A),controlled-point group(group B) and acupoint group(group C),8 for each. After 8-day moxibustion treatment in group B and C,gastric lavage of anhydrous ethanol was used to created AGML in all three groups. The Guth method was employed to measure the ulcer index(UI) of gastric mucosal lesion and immunohistochemistry used to measure apoptosis with apoptosis index(AI) and examinetheexpressionsofHSP60,HSP70and Smac.RESULTS:Compared with group A,the expressions of UI,AI,Smac and HSP60 were markedly elevated in group B(P<0.05 or P<0.01).However the expression of HSP70 showed no obvious change(P>0.05);the expressions of UI,HSP60 and HSP70 were markedly elevated in group C(P<0.01) while those of AI and Smac became obviously suppressed(P<0.01).Compared with group B,the expressions of UI,AI and Smac decreased significantly in group C(P< 0.01) while those of HSP60 and HSP70 increased markedly(P<0.01),and the expressions of HSP60 and HSP70 were considerably up-regulated(P< 0.01).CONCLUSION:The moxibustion treatment could alleviate the gastric mucosal lesion caused by anhydrous ethanol, induce the over-expressions of HSP60 and HSP70,and down-regulate the expression of Smac, which could suppress cell apoptosis. | Jie Yu Hong Peng Yaping Lin Shouxiang Yi | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2: | 14
Wearable strain sensing textile based on one-dimensional stretchable and weavable yarn sensors显示文摘Flexible, wearable, and even stretchable sensors are the key components ofsmart electronic textiles. However, most reported flexible and wearable sensorsfor wearable electronics are usually fabricated in two-dimensional (2D) planarstrip configurations, which cannot be properly integrated into textile structuresand thus greatly degrade intrinsic properties such as the softness, flexibility, andair permeability of textiles and the aesthetic feeling of clothing. In this work, a newone-dimensional weavable strain sensing yarn consisting of an elastic polyurethane(PU) core, a conductive Ag-nanopartides/graphene-microsheets composite sheath, and a silicone encapsulation layer was designed and fabricated through aneasily manipulated protocol. Arising from the reasonable structural design andappropriate material selection, the as-fabricated strain sensor not only exhibitedexcellent flexibility, stretchability, and highly repeatable electromechanicalstability (a repeatability error of 1.56%) but also possessed both high sensitivity(a gauge factor of nearly 500) and a relatively wide working range (0-50%applied strain) with good linearity (a correlation coefficient of 0.98). In addition, the facile, nearly all-solution-based fabrication protocol enabled the scalableproduction of long conductive yams. Thus, the proper yarn length and superbmechanical properties endowed the stretchable conductive yarn with goodweavability. The excellent wearability of the stretchable conductive yarn wasderived from the outermost isolating, hydrophobic, and biocompatible siliconeencapsulation layer. A wearable high-sensitivity strain sensing textile, fabricatedby directly weaving the as-prepared yarn-based sensor, showed great potentialfor application to wearable textile sensors for real-time monitoring of humanmotions from vigorous walkin~ to subtle and complex pronunciations. | Xiaoting Li Haibo Hu Tao Hua Bingang Xu Shouxiang Jiang | 2018 | Nano Research2018,11,11: | 13
Experimental study on burning rate of small scale heptane pool fires显示文摘Burning characteristics of small scale thin-layer n-heptane pool fires were experimentally studied.Flame height, burning rate and fuel temperature distribution of pool fires with different diameters were measured.Fuel surface temperature and wall heat flux were analyzed.Four typical burning phases, which include pre-burning,quasi-steady state burning, boiling burning and decaying phases, are revealed based on the experimental data and phenomenological analysis. It is shown that flame height and burning rate of boiling burning phase are both significantly greater than those of quasi-steady state burning phase.Fuel surface temperature rises to boiling point rapidly in the early stage of pool fire, and then remains almost unchanged.Boiling burning will occur when the wall temperature is not less than the fuel boiling point. | KANG QuanSheng LU ShouXiang CHEN Bing | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10: | 10
Hybrid interval AHP-entropy method for electricity user evaluation in smart electricity utilization显示文摘Smart electricity utilization(SEU) is one of the most important components in a smart grid. It is crucial to evaluate efficiency, safety, and demand response capability of electricity users to achieve the smart use of electricity. The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) uses subjective criteria to determine index weights in multi-criteria decisionmaking problems, while the entropy method provides objectivity in determining index weights. Taking into account the uncertainty of expert scoring and user data, a hybrid interval analytic hierarchy process(IAHP) and interval entropy(IE) method is proposed for electricity user evaluation(EUE). Specifically, in the proposed method, electricity users are evaluated in terms of energy efficiency, safety monitoring, and demand response. The weights of EUE indices are calculated under uncertainty. The proposed approach derives subjective weights of EUE indicesby the IAHP with expert scoring as input data, and determines objective weights of EUE indices by the IE method with user data as inputs. In order to obtain the optimal combined index weights, the two weights are normalized by a selected weight factor. Numerical case studies illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed approach, which combines subjective and objective information to derive the optimal combined index weights. | Shouxiang WANG Leijiao GE Shengxia CAI Lei WU | 2018 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,4: | 10
Microstructure of premixed propane/air flame in the transition from laminar to turbulent combustion显示文摘In order to explore the flame structure and propagation behavior of premixed propane/air in the transi-tion from laminar to turbulent combustion, the high speed camera and Schlieren images methods were used to record the photograph of flame propagation process in a semi-vented pipe. Meanwhile, the super-thin thermocouple and ionization current probe methods were applied to detect the temperature distribution and reaction intensity of combustion reaction. The characteristics of propane/air flame propagation and microstructure were analyzed in detail by the experimental results coupled with chemical reaction thermodynamics. In the test, the particular tulip flame behavior and the formation process in the laminar-turbulent transition were disclosed clearly. From the Schlieren images and iron current results, one conclusion can be drawn that the small-scale turbulent combustion also appeared in laminar flame, which made little influence on the flame shape, but increased the flame thickness obviously. | CHEN XianFeng SUN JinHua LIU Yi LIU XuanYa CHEN SiNing LU ShouXiang | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,5: | 9
Role of the nucleus tractus solitarii in the protection of pre-moxibustion on gastric mucosal lesions显示文摘Previous studies have shown that somatic sensation by acupuncture and visceral nociceptive stimulation can converge in the nucleus tractus solitarii where neurons integrate signals impacting on the function of organs. To explore the role of the nucleus tractus solitarii in the protective mechanism of pre-moxibustion on gastric mucosa, nucleus tractus solitarii were damaged in rats and pre-moxibustion treatment at the Zusanli(ST36) point followed. The gastric mucosa was then damaged by the anhydrous ethanol lavage method. Morphological observations, enzyme linked immunosorbent assays, and western immunoblot analyses showed that gastric mucosa surface lesion and the infiltration of inflammatory cells were significantly ameliorated after pre-moxibustion treatment. Furthermore, the gastric mucosal damage index and somatostatin level were reduced, and epidermal growth factor content in the gastric mucosa and heat-shock protein-70 expression were increased. These results were reversed by damage to the nucleus tractus solitarii. These findings suggest that moxibustion pretreatment at the Zusanli point is protective against acute gastric mucosa injury, and nucleus tractus solitarii damage inhibits these responses. Therefore, the nucleus tractus solitarii may be an important area for regulating the signal transduction of the protective effect of pre-moxibustion on gastric mucosa. | Liang Peng Mi Liu Xiaorong Chang Zhou Yang Shouxiang Yi Jie Yan Yan Peng | 2014 | Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,2: | 9
Analysis of flame spread over aviation kerosene显示文摘Flame spread behaviors and temperature rise of fuel surface were experimentally investigated. A series of tests on aviation kerosene pool fires were conducted by using the schlieren image system, micro-thermocouple and infrared thermal imager. The velocity evolutions of flame spread and surface flow under different initial fuel temperatures were discussed. The characteristics of fuel surface temperature rise were revealed, and it was found that the preheating effect of surface flow on fuel decreased with increasing initial fuel temperature. | ZHOU JieBo CHEN GuoQing LI PeiMing CHEN Bing WANG ChangJiang LU ShouXiang | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,17: | 8
Effects of pre-moxibustion at Zusanli (ST36) on heat shock protein 70 expression in rats with gastric mucosal lesions after neurotomy显示文摘Studies have shown that pre-moxibustion protects the gastric mucosa by up-regulating the expres- sion of heat shock protein 70. However, the signaling pathway underlying this effect remains unclear. Rats were intragastrically administered absolute alcohol, causing obvious lesion of the gastric mucosa. Following pre-moxibustion at Zusanli (ST36) for 8 days, the ulcer index decreased to different degrees. The results of an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and western blotting showed significant upregulation of heat shock protein 70 expression in the gastric mucosa and serum. None out of transection of the spinal cord, damage to the nucleus of the solitary tract, neurotomy of the vagal nerve and neurotomy of the common peroneal nerve affected the decrease in ulcer index or the increase in heat shock protein 70 expression in serum after pre-moxibustion at Zusanli, and heat shock protein 70 expression was obviously decreased in the gastric mucosa. These findings suggest that pre-moxibustion at Zusanli can protect the gastric mucosa against lesioning, and that the mechanism underlying this effect involves its induction of heat shock protein 70 expression. Neural pathways participate in the regulatory effects of moxibustion on heat shock protein 70 expression in the gastric mucosa. | Liang Peng Mi Liu Xiaorong Chang Zhou Yang Shouxiang Yi Jie Yan Yan Peng | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,30: | 5
A Deep Reinforcement Learning Algorithm for the Power Order Optimization Allocation of AGC in Interconnected Power Grids显示文摘The integration of distributed generations(solar power, wind power),energy storage devices, and electric vehicles, causes unpredictable disturbances in power grids. It has become a top priority to coordinate the distributed generations, loads, and energy storages in order to better facilitate the utilization of new energy. Therefore,a novel algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning, namely the deep PDWoLF-PHC(policy dynamics based win or learn fast-policy hill climbing)network(DPDPN),is proposed to allocate power order among the various generators. The proposed algorithm combines the decision mechanism of reinforcement learning with the prediction mechanism of a deep neural network to obtain the optimal coordinated control for the source-grid-load.Consequently it solves the problem brought by stochastic disturbances and improves the utilization rate of new energy.Simulations are conducted with the case of the improved IEEE two-area and a case in the Guangdong power grid. Results show that the adaptability and control performance of the power system are improved using the proposed algorithm as compared with using other existing strategies. | Lei Xi Lipeng Zhou Lang Liu Dongliang Duan Yanchun Xu Liuqing Yang Shouxiang Wang | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,3: | 4
Oxygen‑Deficient β‑MnO_(2)@Graphene Oxide Cathode for High‑Rate and Long‑Life Aqueous Zinc Ion Batteries显示文摘Recent years have witnessed a booming interest in grid-scale electrochemical energy storage, where much attention has been paid to the aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs).Among various cathode materials for AZIBs,manganese oxides have risen to prominence due to their high energy density and low cost. However, sluggish reaction kinetics and poor cycling stability dictate against their practical application.Herein,we demonstrate the combined use of defect engineering and interfacial optimization that can simultaneously promote rate capability and cycling stability of MnO_(2) cathodes.β-MnO_(2) with abundant oxygen vacancies(VO)and graphene oxide(GO)wrapping is synthesized,in which VO in the bulk accelerate the charge/discharge kinetics while GO on the surfaces inhibits the Mn dissolution. This electrode shows a sustained reversible capacity of~129.6 mAh g^(−1) even after 2000 cycles at a current rate of 4C,outperforming the state-of-the-art MnO_(2)-based cathodes. The superior performance can be rationalized by the direct interaction between surface VO and the GO coating layer,as well as the regulation of structural evolution ofβ-MnO_(2) during cycling. The combinatorial design scheme in this work offers a practical pathway for obtaining high-rate and long-life cathodes for AZIBs. | Shouxiang Ding Mingzheng Zhang Runzhi Qin Jianjun Fang Hengyu Ren Haocong Yi Lele Liu Wenguang Zhao Yang Li Lu Yao Shunning Li Qinghe Zhao Feng Pan | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11: | 3
Simulation and analysis of UHV half wavelength and DC hybrid transmission system显示文摘The scenarios of a half wavelength transmission line(HWTL) connected to the original DC asynchronous interconnection system are established based on the quasi-steady state model of HWTL, which include single or double loops of single channel and multi-channel scenarios with different starting and landing points. Firstly, the steady state power flow characters of multi-scenario transmission schemes are studied. The voltage distribution characters of HWTL are analyzed when its transmission power and power factor vary, and the influence of the DC power variation on voltage of HWTL is discussed. Then the transient characters of HWDHTS are explored. The DC commutation failure caused by the fault of HWTL is simulated and the power transfer capacity of HWTL while DC blocking is calculated in this paper. | Qianyu Zhao Shouxiang Wang Xiaohui Qin Seyedamirabbas Mousavian Lei Wu | 2018 | Global Energy Interconnection2018,1,3: | 3
Single-step chemistry model and transport coefficient model for hydrogen combustion显示文摘To satisfy the needs of large-scale hydrogen combustion and explosion simulation,a method is presented to establish single-step chemistry model and transport model for fuel-air mixture. If the reaction formula for hydrogen-air mixture is H2+0.5O2→H2O,the reaction rate model is ?? =1.13×10?5[H2][O2]exp(?46.37T0/T) mol(cm3 s)?1,and the transport coefficient model is ?=K/CP=ρD=7.0×10?5T 0.7 g(cm s)?1.By using current models and the reference model to simulate steady Zeldovich-von Neumann-Doering(ZND) wave and free-propagating laminar flame,it is found that the results are well agreeable.Additionally,deflagration-to-detonation transition in an obstructed channel was also simulated. The numerical results are also well consistent with the experimental results. These provide a reasonable proof for current method and new models. | WEN Jennifer WANG ChangJian LU ShouXiang GUO Jin | 2012 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,8: | 3
Experimental Study on Elevated Fires in a Ceiling Vented Compartment显示文摘The impacts of elevation on fires in a ceiling vented compartment were investigated experimentally. The flame behavior of elevated fires was recorded. Various parameters including the fuel mass loss rate, the light extinction coefficient, the oxygen concentration and the gas temperature were measured. Results indicated that the variations of the flame behavior were consistent with that of the fuel mass loss rate. The fire location significantly impacted the light extinction coefficient, the oxygen concentration and the gas temperature, which all showed distinct stratification phenomena. For a higher elevated fire, the average fuel loss rate and the overall light extinction coefficient were smaller, the oxygen concentration was higher and the gas temperature was lower. In addition, the smoke descending was slower. From the perspective of those parameters the fire was less hazardous if the fire was elevated higher, which was totally different from the elevated fires in closed compartments. | Jiaqing ZHANG Shouxiang LU Qiang LI Changhai LI Man YUAN Richard YUEN | 2013 | Journal of Thermal Science2013,22,4: | 3
Flexible and reusable cap-like thin Fe2O3 film for SERS applications显示文摘Cap-like α-Fe2O3 films are fabricated and deposited onto quartz fabric by using radio frequency magnetron sputtering and annealing. The treated fabric sample in this study shows highly sensitive surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and excellent flexibility, reproducibility and stability. In addition, the sample can be recovered after a washing process with an organic solvent and repeatedly used. The sensitive SERS performance is attributed to chemical enhancement through a charge transfer process. Moreover, the SERS performance is also found to be dependent on the light coupling effect. When the light absorbance rate of the α-Fe2O3 films increases at a wavelength near that of laser light, the film shows excellent sensitivity due to light coupling effect. | Jiangtao Xu Xiaoting Li Yuxiang Wang Ronghui Guo Songmin Shang Shouxiang Jiang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,2: | 3
Transference kinetics of ^(60)Co in an aquatic-terrestrial ecosystem显示文摘The dynamics of transportation, accumulation, disappearance and distribution of 60Co in a simulated aquatic-terrestrial ecosystem was studied by isotope-tracer technique. In the aquatic system,60Co was transported and transformed via depositing, coupling with ions and adsorption. The absorption resulted in the redistribution and accumulation of 60Co in each compartment of the system. Specific activities of 60Co in water started sharply and gently decreased. The sediment accumulated a large amount of 60Co by adsorption and ion exchange. The hornwort (Ceralophyllum demersum) could also adsorb a large amount of 60Co in a short time, because of its large specific surface area. Fish (Carassius auratus) and snail (Bellamya purificata) had a poor capacity of adsorbing 60Co. The distribution of 60Co in the fish was mainly in the viscera, and the amount of 60Co in the snail flesh was greater than that in the shell. The amount of 60Co in individual compartment in the system was changed with time. The highest specific activity of 60Co in the bean of the terrestrial system remained in the root nodule. | ZHAO Xiyue CAI Zhiqing GONG Fanghong SHI Jianjun WANG Shouxiang | 2008 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2008,19,4: | 3
Insights Into the Interfacial Degradation of High-Voltage All-Solid-State Lithium Batteries显示文摘Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)is considered as a promising solid-state electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs).Nevertheless, the poor interfacial stability with high-voltage cathode materials(e.g.,LiCoO_(2))restricts its application in high energy density solid-state batteries.Herein,high-voltage stable Li_(3)AlF_(6) protective layer is coated on the surface of LiCoO_(2) particle to improve the performance and investigate the failure mechanism of PEO-based ASSLBs.The phase transition unveils that chemical redox reaction occurs between the highly reactive LiCoO_(2) surface and PEO-based SPE,resulting in structure collapse of LiCoO_(2),hence the poor cycle performance of PEO-based ASSLBs with LiCoO_(2) at charging voltage of 4.2 V vs Li/Li+.By sharp contrast,no obvious structure change can be found at the surface of Li_(3)AlF_(6)-coated LiCoO_(2),and the original layered phase was well retained. When the charging voltage reaches up to 4.5 V vs Li/Li+,the intensive electrochemical decomposition of PEO-based SPE occurs, leading to the constant increase of cell impedance and directly causing the poor performance. This work not only provides important supplement to the failure mechanism of PEO-based batter-ies with LiCoO_(2),but also presents a universal strategy to retain structure stability of cathode-electrolyte interface in high-voltage ASSLBs. | Jiawen Li Yuchen Ji Haoran Song Shiming Chen Shouxiang Ding Bingkai Zhang Luyi Yang Yongli Song Feng Pan | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12: | 2
Experimental investigation on the spread of aqueous foam over ethanol surface显示文摘The presence of ethanol has an adverse effect on foam spreading, and ethanol fire is difficult to extinguish with aqueous fire-fighting foams. Thus,it is necessary to explore the foam formulation suitable for ethanol fuels and study the spreading behavior of foam over ethanol surface. In the current work, stable foams based on hydrocarbon surfactant(SDS),fluorocarbon surfactant(FC1157),and polymers(XG)were prepared by using the compressed-air foam system. The spreading behaviors of foam on polar ethanol and non-polar heptane surface were observed and compared.Furthermore, the effects of stabilizer concentrations, foam flow rates and expansion ratios on foam spreading performance were investigated, respectively. The results indicate that aqueous SDS foam can spread on the heptane layer continuously, but it is difficult to cover the ethanol surface. The addition of XG and FC1157 can synergistically improve the spreading performance of aqueous foam over ethanol.Depending on stabilizer concentrations, there are remarkable differences in foam spreading behaviors.Besides, different foam application parameters including expansion ratios and foam flow rates significantly affect the foam spreading rate, despite the same foam formulation. The research methods and results guide the optimal design of foam formulations as well as the practical application of aqueous foam for ethanol fire extinguishment. | Xiaoyang Yu Fan Li Xuyang Miao Ning Jiang Ruowen Zong Shouxiang Lu Changhai Li State | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,11: | 2
