Inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 (previously 2019-nCoV) infection by a highly potent pan-coronavirus fusion inhibitor targeting its spike protein that harbors a high capacity to mediate membrane fusion显示文摘The recent outbreak of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection in Wuhan,China has posed a serious threat to global public health. To develop specific anti-coronavirus therapeutics and prophylactics, the molecular mechanism that underlies viral infection must first be defined. Therefore,we herein established a SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)protein-mediated cell-cell fusion assay and found that SARS-CoV-2 showed a superior plasma membrane fusion capacity compared to that of SARS-CoV.We solved the X-ray crystal structure of six-helical bundle(6-HB)core of the HR1 and HR2 domains in the SARS-CoV-2 S protein S2 subunit revealing that several mutated amino acid residues in the HR1 domain may be associated with enhanced interactions with the HR2 domain. We previously developed a pan-coronavirus fusion inhibitor,EK1,which targeted the HR!domain and could inhibit infection by divergent human coronaviruses tested, including SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV.Here we generated a series of lipopeptides derived from EK1 and found that EK1C4 was the most potent fusion inhibitor against SARS-CoV-2 S protein-mediated membrane fusion and pseudovirus infection with IC50s of 1.3 and 15.8 nM,about 241-and 149-fold more potent than the original EK1 peptide,respectively.EK1C4 was also highly effective against membrane fusion and infection of other human coronavirus pseudoviruses tested, including SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV,as well as SARSr-CoVs,and potently inhibited the replication of 5 live human coronaviruses examined, including SARS-CoV-2.Intranasal application of EK1C4 before or after challenge with HCoV-OC43 protected mice from infection, suggesting that EK1C4 could be used for prevention and treatment of infection by the currently circulating SARS-CoV-2 and other emerging SARSr-CoVs. | Shuai Xia Meiqin Liu Chao Wang Wei Xu Qiaoshuai Lan Siliang Feng Feifei Qi Linlin Bao Lanying Du Shuwen Liu Chuan Qin Fei Sun Zhengli Shi Yun Zhu Shibo Jiang Lu Lu | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,4: | 81
Fusion mechanism of 2019-nCoV and fusion inhibitors targeting HR1 domain in spike protein显示文摘Very recently,a novel coronavirus,2019-nCoV,emerged in Wuhan,China and then quickly spread worldwide, resulting in>17,388 confirmed cases and 361 deaths as of 3 February 2020,thus calling for the development of safe and effective therapeutics and prophylatics.1,2 Similar to severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)-CoV,2019-nCoV belongs to lineage B betacoronavirus, and it has the ability to utilize human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)as a receptor to infect human cells. | Shuai Xia Yun Zhu Meiqin Liu Qiaoshuai Lan Wei Xu Yanling Wu Tianlei Ying Shuwen Liu Zhengli Shi Shibo Jiang Lu Lu | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,7: | 27
The role of furin cleavage site in SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-mediated membrane fusion in the presence or absence of trypsin显示文摘Dear Editor,The rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2(also known as 2019-nCoV and HCoV-191),a novel lineage B betacoronavirus(βCoV),has caused a global pandemic of coronavirus disease(COVID-19).It has been speculated that RRAR,a unique furin-like cleavage site(FCS)in the spike protein(S),which is absent in other lineage BβCoVs,such as SARS-CoV,is responsible for its high infectivity and transmissibility. | Shuai Xia Qiaoshuai Lan Shan Su Xinling Wang Wei Xu Zezhong Liu Yun Zhu Qian Wang Lu Lu Shibo Jiang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 8
Engineering self-healing adhesive hydrogels with antioxidant properties for intrauterine adhesion prevention显示文摘Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) is the fibrosis within the uterine cavity. It is the second most common cause of female infertility, significantly affecting women’s physical and mental health. Current treatment strategies fail to provide a satisfactory therapeutic outcome for IUA patients, leaving an enormous challenge for reproductive science. A self-healing adhesive hydrogel with antioxidant properties will be highly helpful in IUA prevention. In this work, we prepare a series of self-healing hydrogels (P10G15, P10G20, and P10G25) with antioxidant and adhesive properties. Those hydrogels exhibit good self-healing properties and can adapt themselves to different structures. They possess good injectability and fit the shape of the human uterus. Moreover, the hydrogels exhibit good tissue adhesiveness, which is desirable for stable retention and therapeutic efficacy. The in vitro experiments using P10G20 show that the adhesive effectively scavenges ABTS+, DPPH, and hydroxyl radicals, rescuing cells from oxidative stress. In addition, P10G20 offers good hemocompatibility and in vitro and in vivo biocompatibility. Furthermore, P10G20 lowers down the in vivo oxidative stress and prevents IUA with less fibrotic tissue and better endometrial regeneration in the animal model. It can effectively downregulate fibrosis-related transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Altogether, these adhesives may be a good alternative for the clinical treatment of intrauterine adhesion. | Luyao Feng Liqun Wang Yao Ma Wanglin Duan Sergio Martin-Saldana Ye Zhu Xianpeng Zhang Bin Zhu Chaowei Li Shibo Hu Mingjie Bao Ting Wang Yuan Zhu Fei Yang Yazhong Bu | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,9: | 3
Origin, virological features, immune evasion and intervention of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron sublineages显示文摘Recently,a large number of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)variants continuously emerged and posed a major threat to global public health.Among them, particularly,Omicron variant(B.1.1.529),first identified in November 2021,carried numerous mutations in its spike protein(S),and then quickly spread around the world.Currently,Omicron variant has expanded into more than one hundred sublineages, such as BA.1,BA.2,BA.2.12.1,BA.4 and BA.5,which have already become the globally dominant variants.Different from other variants of concern(VOCs)of SARS-CoV-2,the Omicron variant and its sublineages exhibit increased transmissibility and immune escape from neutralizing antibodies generated through previous infection or vaccination, and have caused numerous re-infections and breakthrough infections. In this prospective,we have focused on the origin, virological features, immune evasion and intervention of Omicron sublineages, which will benefit the development of nextgeneration vaccines and therapeutics, including pan-sarbecovirus and universal anti-CoV therapeutics,to combat currently circulating and future emerging Omicron sublineages as well as other SARS-CoV-2 variants. | Shuai Xia Lijue Wang Yun Zhu Lu Lu Shibo Jiang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8: | 3

Structural and functional basis for pan-CoV fusion inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants with preclinical evaluation显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic poses a global threat to public health and economy. The continuously emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants present a major challenge to the development of antiviral agents and vaccines. In this study,we identified that EK1 and cholesterol-coupled derivative of EK1,EK1C4,as pan-CoV fusion inhibitors, exhibit potent antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 infection in both lung-and intestine-derived cell lines(Calu-3 and Caco2,respectively).They are also effective against infection of pseudotyped SARS-CoV-2 variants B.1.1.7(Alpha)and B.l.1.248(Gamma)as well as those with mutations in S protein, including N417T,E484K,N501Y,and D614G,which are common in South African and Brazilian variants.Crystal structure revealed that EK1 targets the HR1 domain in the SARS-CoV-2 S protein to block virus-cell fusion and provide mechanistic insights into its broad and effective antiviral activity.Nasal administration of EK1 peptides to hACE2 transgenic mice significantly reduced viral titers in lung and intestinal tissues.EK1 showed good safety profiles in various animal models, supporting further clinical development of EK1-based pan-CoV fusion inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. | Shuai Xia Qiaoshuai Lan Yun Zhu Chao Wang Wei Xu Yutang Li Lijue Wang Fanke Jiao Jie Zhou Chen Hua Qian Wang Xia Cai Yang Wu Jie Gao Huan Liu Ge Sun Jan Munch Frank Kirchhoff Zhenghong Yuan Youhua Xie Fei Sun Shibo Jiang Lu Lu | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8: | 2
Elevating kinetics of passivated Fe anodes with NH_(4)Cl regulator:Toward low-cost,long-cyclic and green cathode-free Fe-ion aqueous batteries显示文摘The environment benignity and battery cost are major concerns for grid-scale energy storage applications. The emerging dendrite-free Fe-ion aqueous batteries are promising due to the rich natural abundance, low cost and non-toxicity for Fe resources. However, serious passivation reactions on Fe anodes and poor long-term cyclability for matched cathodes still stand in the way for their practical usage. To settle above constraints,we herein use NH_(4)Cl as the electrolyte regulator to elevate the reaction kinetics of passivated Fe anodes, and also propose a special cathode-free design to prolong the cells lifetime over 1,000 cycles. The added NH_(4)Cl can erode/break inert passivation layers and strengthen the ion conductivity of electrolytes, facilitating the reversible Fe plating/stripping and Fe^(2+)shuttling.The highly puffed nano carbon foams function as current collectors and actives anchoring hosts, enabling expedite Fe^(2+)adsorption/desorption,FeII/FeIII redox conversions and FeIII deposition. The configured rocking-chair Fe-ion cells have good environmental benignity and decent energy-storage behaviors, including high reactivity/reversibility,outstanding cyclic stability and far enhanced operation longevity.Such economical,long-cyclic and green cathode-free Fe-ion batteries may hold great potential in near-future energy-storage power stations. | Shibo Chai Jianhui Zhu Jian Jiang Chang Ming Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,4: | 1

A non-ACE2 competing human single-domain antibody confers broad neutralization against SARS-CoV-2 and circulating variants显示文摘The current COVID-19 pandemic has heavily burdened the global public health system and may keep simmering for years. The frequent emergence of immune escape variants have spurred the search for prophylactic vaccines and therapeutic antibodies that confer broad protection against SARS-CoV-2 variants. Here we show that the bivalency of an affinity maturated fully human singledomain antibody(n3113.1-Fc)exhibits exquisite neutralizing potency against SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, and confers effective prophylactic and therapeutic protection against authentic SARS-CoV-2 in the host cell receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)humanized mice. The crystal structure of n3113 in complex with the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2,combined with the cryo-EM structures of n3113 and spike ecto-domain,reveals that n3113 binds to the side surface of up-state RBD with no competition with ACE2.The binding of n3113 to this novel epitope stabilizes spike in up-state conformations but inhibits SARS-CoV-2 S mediated membrane fusion, expanding our recognition of neutralization by antibodies against SARS-CoV-2.Binding assay and pseudovirus neutralization assay show no evasion of recently prevalent SARS-CoV-2 lineages, including Alpha(B.1.1.7),Beta(B.1.351),Gamma(P.1),and Delta(B.1.617.2)for n3113.1-Fc with Y58L mutation, demonstrating the potential of n3113.1-Fc(Y58L)as a promising candidate for clinical development to treat COVID-19. | Zhenlin Yang Yulu Wang Yujia Jin Yuanfei Zhu Yanling Wu Cheng Li Yu Kong Wenping Song Xiaolong Tian Wuqiang Zhan Ailing Huang Shanshan Zhou Shuai Xia Xiaoxu Tian Chao Peng Cuicui Chen Yibing Shi Gaowei Hu Shujuan Du Yuyan Wang Youhua Xie Shibo Jiang Lu Lu Lei Sun Yuanlin Song Tianlei Ying | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12: | 1
“Three medicines and three formulas”in COVID-19:from bench to bedside显示文摘Chinese guideline has proven effective in the fight against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)during the global spread of the epidemic.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is widely recognized for its effectiveness in alleviating symptoms, inhibiting disease progress, reducing mortality, and improving the cure rate of patients with COVID-19.During the pandemic,“three medicines and three formulas”(TMTFs)stood out from hundreds of others in registered clinical studies, which became highly recommended as TCM for COVID-19 treatment. The TMTFs not only effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of fever, cough, fatigue, and phlegm, but also substantially shorten the time of nucleic acid negative conversion, improve lung computed tomography imaging features and inflammation, ameliorate clinical biochemical indicators, and reduce sequelae.Their potential pharmacological mechanisms are mainly related to the crosstalk between viral toxicity, endothelial damage, cytokine storm, immune response, and microthrombus. In brief, the clinical effects and the potential mechanisms of TMTFs on COVID-19 were systematically analyzed and summarized covering the entirety of disease development, including virus invasion and replication, immune response and cytokine storm, and acute respiratory distress syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. This review provides a theoretical basis and reference for the in-depth understanding of the positive role of TMTFs in COVID-19 treatment. | Guangxu Xiao Simeng Wang Ruijiao Wang Li Tan Shibo Ma Shuang He Guanwei Fan Yan Zhu Ming Lyu | 2023 | Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2023,3,4: | 1
Experimental Study on the Effect of Perfluorodecalin on Rabbit Corneas显示文摘Purpose: To study the effects of perfluorodecalin on the cornea of the rabbit eyes. Methods: Perfluorodecalin (0.05 ml/each) was injected into the anterior chambers of eighteen rabbit eyes. Corneal morphology and endothelial cells were monitored clinically by slit-lamp biomicroscope and specular microscope for 26 weeks. Animals were sacrificed in 1 st, 2nd, 4th, 10th, 16th, 22nd, and 26th week after injection, respectively, and the corneas were examined under the light microscope. Results: Perfluorodecalin droplets looking like “ fish eggs ” were found at about 1/4-1/2 of the corneal height in the inferior anterior chamber. Corneal opacification on the area contacted with perfluorodecalin was observed in five eyes five weeks after injection, and all in the 22nd week. Mutton fat KPs in one eye were seen in the 6th week firstly, and in all eyes in the 7th week. Corneal pannus formation in one eye was present in the 4th week, two eyes in the 5th week and three eyes in the 6th week. Retrocorneal fibrous membrane in one eye was detected at the 6th week and 3 eyes at the 7th week respectively. After injection of perfluorodecalin, endothelial cell density was sighificantly decreased (2789 ± 192 vs. 2341 ± 658, P < O. O1 ) and corneal thickness was increased. Conclusions: Perfluorodecalin injected into anterior chamber can lead to corneal damage and inflammatory reaction. | 13 | Analogous comparison unravels heightened antiviral defense and boosted viral infection upon immunosuppression in bat organoids显示文摘Horseshoe bats host numerous SARS-related coronaviruses without overt disease signs.Bat intestinal organoids,a unique model of bat intestinal epithelium, allow direct comparison with human intestinal organoids. We sought to unravel the cellular mechanism(s)underlying bat tolerance of coronaviruses by comparing the innate immunity in bat and human organoids. We optimized the culture medium, which enabled a consecutive passage of bat intestinal organoids for over one year.Basal expression levels of IFNs and IFN-stimulated genes were higher in bat organoids than in their human counterparts.Notably, bat organoids mounted a more rapid, robust and prolonged antiviral defense than human organoids upon Poly(I:C)stimulation.TLR3 and RLR might be the conserved pathways mediating antiviral response in bat and human intestinal organoids. The susceptibility of bat organoids to a bat coronavirus CoV-HKU4,but resistance to EV-71,an enterovirus of exclusive human origin, indicated that bat organoids adequately recapitulated the authentic susceptibility of bats to certain viruses.Importantly,TLR3/RLR inhibition in bat organoids significantly boosted viral growth in the early phase after SARS-CoV-2 or CoV-HKU4 infection.Collectively, the higher basal expression of antiviral genes, especially more rapid and robust induction of innate immune response, empowered bat cells to curtail virus propagation in the early phase of infection. | Xiaojuan Liu Cun Li Zhixin Wan Man Chun Chiu Jingjing Huang Yifei Yu Lin Zhu Jian-Piao Cai Lei Rong You-qiang Song Hin Chu Zongwei Cai Shibo Jiang Kwok-yung Yuen Jie Zhou | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,1: | 0
Digital Simulation of Projective Non-Abelian Anyons with 68 Superconducting Qubits显示文摘Non-Abelian anyons are exotic quasiparticle excitations hosted by certain topological phases of matter. They break the fermion-boson dichotomy and obey non-Abelian braiding statistics:their interchanges yield unitary operations, rather than merely a phase factor,in a space spanned by topologically degenerate wavefunctions. They are the building blocks of topological quantum computing. However, experimental observation of non-Abelian anyons and their characterizing braiding statistics is notoriously challenging and has remained elusive hitherto,in spite of various theoretical proposals. Here,we report an experimental quantum digital simulation of projective non-Abelian anyons and their braiding statistics with up to 68 programmable superconducting qubits arranged on a two-dimensional lattice.By implementing the ground states of the toric-code model with twists through quantum circuits,we demonstrate that twists exchange electric and magnetic charges and behave as a particular type of non-Abelian anyons,i.e.,the Ising anyons. In particular,we show experimentally that these twists follow the fusion rules and non-Abelian braiding statistics of the Ising type, and can be explored to encode topological logical qubits.Furthermore,we demonstrate how to implement both single-and two-qubit logic gates through applying a sequence of elementary Pauli gates on the underlying physical qubits. Our results demonstrate a versatile quantum digital approach for simulating non-Abelian anyons, offering a new lens into the study of such peculiar quasiparticles. | Shibo Xu Zheng-Zhi Sun Ke Wang Liang Xiang Zehang Bao Zitian Zhu Fanhao Shen Zixuan Song Pengfei Zhang Wenhui Ren Xu Zhang Hang Dong Jinfeng Deng Jiachen Chen Yaozu Wu Ziqi Tan Yu Gao Feitong Jin Xuhao Zhu Chuanyu Zhang Ning Wang Yiren Zou Jiarun Zhong Aosai Zhang Weikang Li Wenjie Jiang Li-Wei Yu Yunyan Yao Zhen Wang Hekang Li Qiujiang Guo Chao Song H.Wang Dong-Ling Deng | 2023 | Chinese Physics Letters2023,40,6: | 0
Enhanced piezoelectric properties in low-temperature sintering PZN-PZT ceramics by adjusting Zr/Ti ratio显示文摘Pb_(0.96)Sr_(0.04)(Zr,Ti)_(0.7)(Zn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))_(0.3)O_(3)(PZN-PZT)piezoceramics with various Zr/Ti ratios and Li_(2)CO_(3)sintering aid were sintered at 900°C by the solid-state reaction route. The samples with different Zr/Ti ratios were compared according to microstructure, phase structure, piezoelectricity, ferroelectricity, and dielectric relaxation. The Zr/Ti ratio in the PZN-PZT ceramics greatly affects the electrical properties. The Zr/Ti ratio affects the proportion between the rhombohedral and tetragonal phases and also affects the grain size. The PZN-PZT ceramics with the Zr/Ti ratio of 53:47 have the largest grain size and have optimized piezoelectric prop-erties(k_(p)=0.58,d_(33)=540 pC/N,and T_(C)=250°C).The larger the grain size, the lesser the grain boundary, the easier the domain wall motion, and the better the piezoelectric properties. The PZT ceramic with Zr/Ti ratio of 53:47 locates the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)region which is one of the key factors for the high piezoelectric properties of the PZT. | Yaxia Luo Tao Pu Shibo Fan Hong Liu Jianguo Zhu | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2022,12,2: | 0
Alternating current stimulation promotes neurite outgrowth and plasticity in neurons through activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway显示文摘As a commonly used physical intervention, electrical stimulation(ES)has been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of central nervous system disorders.Currently, researchers are studying the effects of electrical stimu-lation on individual neurons and neural networks, which are dependent on factors such as stimulation intensity, duration, location, and neuronal properties. However, the exact mechanism of action of electrical stimulation remains unclear. In some cases, repeated or prolonged electrical stimulation can lead to changes in the morphology or function of the neuron. In this study, immunofluorescence staining and Sholl analysis are used to assess changes in the neurite number and axon length to determine the optimal pattern and stimulation parameters of ES for neurons.Neuronal death and plasticity are detected by TUNEL staining and microelectrode array assays,respec-tively.mRNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis are applied to predict the key targets of the action of ES on neurons, and the identified targets are validated by western blot analysis and qRT-PCR.The effects of alternating current stimulation(ACS)on neurons are more significant than those of direct current stimulation(DCS),and the optimal parameters are 3μA and 20 min.ACS stimulation significantly increases the number of neurites, the length of axons and the spontaneous electrical activity of neurons, significantly elevates the expression of growth-asso-ciated protein-43(GAP-43)without significant changes in the expression of neurotrophic factors.Furthermore, application of PI3K/AKT-specific inhibitors significantly abolishes the beneficial effects of ACS on neurons,con-firming that the PI3K/AKT pathway is an important potential signaling pathway in the action of ACS. | Hao Zhong Cong Xing Mi Zhou Zeyu Jia Song Liu Shibo Zhu Bo Li Hongjiang Yang Hongpeng Ma Liyue Wang Rusen Zhu Zhigang Qu Guangzhi Ning | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11: | 0
Effects of air-atomized water spray cooling device structure on the quenching process, microstructure, and properties of wear-resistant steel显示文摘With its high strength and hardness, wear-resistant steel has become an important material in the field of construction machinery manufacturing.Given that quenching technology is a crucial component of wear-resistant steel production, the selection of the cooling method to be used during this process is important. In this study, the feasibility of quenching wear-resistant steel by air-atomized water spray cooling was studied, and the cooling rate, microstructure, and hardness of wear-resistant steel under various cooling device structures were analyzed. The results reveal that the air-atomized water spray cooling method is an effective technique in quenching wear-resistant steel.Furthermore, martensite and uniform hardness were obtained by the air-atomized water spray cooling technique. As the space between the nozzles in each row in the device increased, the cooling rate was reduced during quenching.Meanwhile, the martensite content decreased, and more carbides were observed in the martensitic structure.A mixture comprising self-tempered martensite and bainite was formed at a large distance over a longer period of time. All these factors resulted in lower hardness and worse property uniformity. | WEN Shibo WU Jianfeng ZHU Jianhua | 2022 | Baosteel Technical Research2022,16,2: | 0
A comparative study of information visualization from the perspective of intellectual base: Using WoS and CSSCI显示文摘Purpose: Focusing on a comparative analysis of information visualization in library and information science(LIS) from the perspective of research subject and intellectual base, this paper aims to discover the difference and coherence between Chinese domestic studies on information visualization and those of other areas of the world so as to show their theoretical foundation and development trend in a more objective way.Design/methodology/approach: By using the social network analysis tool Ucinet, we have first constructed networks of key author collaboration for 651 articles retrieved from the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index(CSSCI) and 910 from the Web of Science(WoS),which were published on information visualization between 1998 and 2012 in library and information science, then we compared the intellectual base by mapping analysis from perspective of half-life, centrality and burst detection with CiteSpace II.Findings: Up to date, 51 countries and regions have contributed to the research of information visualization, and in total, we found 9 research clusters of author co-occurrence matrices, among which three are in China. Within Chinese co-author networks, most Chinese scholars have come from the same research institutions, that is to say, more international cooperation and exchange are still required for the research of information visualization across different disciplines and regions.Research limitations: This co-author network and co-citation analysis is mainly based on the research field of LIS with a focus of the WoS and CSSCI databases only, further samples are required for more generalized results to increase our understanding on the development trend of information visualization.Practical implications: This study could lead to a better understanding of the applications of information visualization technologies in discovering the development trend of a research field. Originality/value: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first comparative analysis of research subject and intellectual base on information visualization, specifically, from the perspective of contributions of Chinese scholars in this regard. By dividing most frequently cited Chinese literature into two categories(original and non-original research papers), this paper shows the extent of contributions that Chinese domestic scholars have made to the research of information visualization, by revealing the contributions of different types of Chinese domestic papers on information visualization. | Shibo HAO Xuefang ZHU Guang ZHU Gang LI | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2013,,2: | 0
Surface passivation using pyridinium iodide for highly efficient planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘Perovskite solar cells have developed rapidly in the past decades. However, there are large amounts of ionic defects at the surface and grain boundaries of perovskte films which are detrimental to both the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells. Here,an organic halide salt pyridinium iodide(PyI) is used in cation-anion-mixed perovskite for surface defect passivation.Different from the treatment with Lewis base pyridine(Py) which can only bind to the under-coordinated Pb ions, zwitterion molecule PyI can not only fill negative charged iodine vacancies, but also interact with positive charged defects.Compared with Py treatment,PyI treatment results in smoother surface, less defect densities and nonradiative recombination in perovskite, leading to an improved VOC, negligible J-V hysteresis and stable performance of devices. As a result, the champion PyI-treated planar perovskite solar cell with a high VOC of 1.187 V achieves an efficiency of 21.42%,which is higher than 20.37% of Py-treated device, while the pristine device without any treatment gets an efficiency of 18.83% at the same experiment conditions. | Yitian Du Jihuai Wu Xinpeng Zhang Qianjin Zhu Mingjing Zhang Xuping Liu Yu Zou Shibo Wang Weihai Sun | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,1: | 0
