1Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop,has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups,namely winter,semiwinter,and spring types. However,genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively.We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations,and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. 2Preparation and characterization of Al/B/Fe_2O_3 nanothermites显示文摘A sol-gel synthetic approach combined with an ultrasonic method was utilized to prepare Al/B/Fe2O3 nanothermites.The structure and properties of the prepared nanothermites were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis,differential scanning calorimetry,scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,and an impact sensitivity test.The results verified that the nano-aluminum and the micro-boron were uniformly dispersed in the pores of the iron oxide gel.The heat of the prepared Al/B/Fe2O3 nanothermites was 1.3 times that of the simple physically mixed sample.In addition,the heat of the combustion test showed that these materials were indeed energetic.Small-scale safe experiments also showed that the prepared materials through sol-gel were relatively insensitive to standard impact.SHEN LianHua LI GuoPing LUO YunJun GAO Kun GE Zhen 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,6:6
3A hybrid coercivity mechanism for exchange-coupled nanocomposite permanent magnets显示文摘We propose a hybrid coercivity mechanism for exchange-coupled hard/soft multilayers, which incorporates elements of both the traditional nucleation and pinning mechanisms based on both threedimensional(3 D) and one-dimensional(1 D) micromagnetic calculations. The magnetic reversal starts with the nucleation of the domain wall near the defects or soft phases, which ends by the pinning usually in the same place. Therefore, pinning near the nucleation centers are the dominant coercivity mechanism for both exchange-coupled nanocomposites and so-called single-phased permanent magnets. Our proposed coercivity mechanism and calculated results agree very well with available experimental data,especially the recently reported high energy products achieved in NdFeB and SmCo based hard/soft multilayers. 4The genome and gene editing system of sea barleygrass provide a novel platform for cereal domestication and stress tolerance studies显示文摘The tribe Triticeae provides important staple cereal crops and contains elite wild species with wide geneticdiversity and high tolerance to abiotic stresses. Sea barleygrass (Hordeum marinum Huds.), a wildTriticeae species, thrives in saline marshlands and is well known for its high tolerance to salinity and waterlogging. Here, a 3.82-Gb high-quality reference genome of sea barleygrass is assembled de novo, with 3.69Gb (96.8%) of its sequences anchored onto seven chromosomes. In total, 41 045 high-confidence (HC)genes are annotated by homology, de novo prediction, and transcriptome analysis. Phylogenetics, nonsynonymous/synonymous mutation ratios (Ka/Ks), and transcriptomic and functional analyses provide genetic evidence for the divergence in morphology and salt tolerance among sea barleygrass, barley, andwheat. The large variation in post-domestication genes (e.g. IPA1 and MOC1) may cause interspecies differences in plant morphology. The extremely high salt tolerance of sea barleygrass is mainly attributed tolow Na+ uptake and root-to-shoot translocation, which are mainly controlled by SOS1, HKT, and NHX transporters. 10A novel analytical model for hysteresis loops of exchange-coupled hard-soft magnets显示文摘Hard/soft permanent magnets have attracted a lot of attention because of their rich magnetic properties and their potential for realizing giant energy products. However, energy products obtained by scientists in experiments are much smaller than the theoretical values, which has been studied by various analytical and numerical methods. The famous Stoner-Wohlfarth model(S-W model) is too simple to give the hysteresis loops whereas the intensively used variational method is too complicated to reveal the underlying mechanism in a simple form. The analytical model proposed in this paper maintains a balance between simplicity and precision, where the spins in the soft layer rotate fast and coherently with the applied field while those in the hard layer response to the applied field much slower but also coherent. An exchange coupling is provided to maintain the exchange spring which drags the spins in the hard layer to follow those in the soft layer. Similar to the more sophisticated model, the calculated hysteresis loops display three typical magnetic phases, i.e., the rigid composite magnet, the exchange spring and decoupled magnet, whereas the simple SW model can only give one single phase, i.e., the rigid composite one. 12Impact of Coal Mining Subsidence on Sandy Geomorphology and Vegetation Habitat in Sandy Area显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the problem of'secondary desertification'caused by coal mining subsidence in sandy area and its control countermeasures.[Methods]The collapse fissure changes,vegetation displacement and tilt,dry sand layer and wind erosion/aeolian deposit rate of the edge,middle and basin of subsidence area were studied in detail.[Results]The width and density of fissures at the edge of subsidence area were the smallest,followed by those in the center,and the width and density of fissures in the basin of the subsidence area were the greatest,while the staggering and surface damage showed the opposite trend.The average displacement length of vegetation in the subsidence area reached 60 cm,the slope was 5.67-28.63,and the maximum wind erosion/aeolian deposit at the trunk roots was-30.52 cm/+25.41 cm,most serious at the edge of subsidence.The changes in displacement length and slope of vegetation were positively linearly correlated with the height and surface damage of collapse fissures.The thickness of dry land layer at the edge of the subsidence area reached 14 cm,4-6 cm greater than that of the control,and the thickness of dry land layer in the middle and basin of the subsidence area was both about 11 cm,1-4 cm greater than that of non-subsidence area.The wind erosion rate at the edge of the subsidence area was up to 83.34%,followed by that(52.06%)in the middle.The aeolian deposit rate in the subsidence basin was 51.84%.[Conclusions]The subsidence edge has the strongest impact on the sandy geomorphology and vegetation habitat,and is a key area for ecological restoration.It is recommended that the coal mining subsidence should be treated in a timely manner to avoid the occurrence of'secondary desertification'.Guoping ZHAO Puxia WU Weibo SHEN 2021Asian Agricultural Research2021,13,5:0

16Utility of the Surgical Apgar Score in pancreatic cancer and modification显示文摘Objectives:The Surgical Apgar Score(SAS)can predict the incidence of complications in different surgical fields.However,it is rarely studied in pancreatic cancer.The aim of the present study was to assess the predictive value of the SAS in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC),and then propose a modified SAS which was more suitable for pancreatic cancer patients.Materials and methods:A prospective cohort study of 160 PDAC patients was concluded.The primary endpoint was 30-day major complications.The SAS was calculated as described.The overall discriminatory power of the score was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic curves and the area under the curve(AUC)with respect to major complications or death.Results:It showed a significant predictive value of SAS in major complications or death in PDAC(p=0.020,AUC=0.606),especially in complication of pneumonia(p=0.022)and pleural effusion(p=0.023).In addition,the SAS exert significant predictive value in distal pancreatectomy group,but it has a weak predictive value for pancreaticoduodenectomy group.On multivariable analyses,occurrence of major postoperative complications was associated with lowest mean arterial pressure,estimated blood loss and operative time.Interestingly,as a characteristic of SAS,lowest heart rate was not involved.The modified SAS we proposed including lowest mean arterial pressure,estimated blood loss and operative time increased AUC from 0.606 to 0.743.Conclusions:The SAS can be a simple,rapid scoring system that effectively predicts major postoperative complications.Besides,the modified SAS we proposed in this study,which included lowest mean arterial pressure,estimated blood loss and operative time,exert a better predictive value in PDAC patients.Guoping Ding Liangjing Zhou Wenchao Chen Zhengrong Wu Tao Shen Liping Cao 2019Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2019,2,4:0
