1发酵条件对红茶菌发酵品质及风味的影响显示文摘探究发酵条件对红茶菌发酵品质及发酵液风味的影响。以发酵产酸率、感官评分为指标,考察红茶品种、茶叶浸提方式、糖添加量、茶叶添加量及红茶菌膜接种量的影响;同时,对发酵过程中风味物质的变化进行分析。结果表明:将水煮沸后,加0.5%醇香红茶浸提15 min,加入7%糖,冷却后加8%红茶菌膜于30℃条件下发酵10 d,得到的产品感官品质好,发酵液呈清澈淡黄色,酸甜适中,微酸,口味纯;茶汤经发酵后风味物质显著改变,共检测到19种风味成分,其中醇类7种、酯类6种、酸类4种、酚类1种、烷烃类1种,即风味物质多为醇类、酯类和酸类。醇类的含量为25.09%,其中乙醇含量为21.51%;酸类的含量为46.40%,其中正辛酸含量为19.41%;酯类的含量为15.91%,其中乙酸乙酯含量为9.47%。袁磊 张国华 Faizan Ahmed SADIQ 何国庆 2017食品科学2017,38,2:23
2Vascular endothelial growth factor trap-eye(Aflibercept) for the management of diabetic macular edema显示文摘Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is the most common cause of visual loss among working age individuals.Diabetic macular edema(DME)is an important complication of DR that affects around one third of the patients with DR.Several treatments have been approved for DME ranging from blood pressure and glycemic control to photocoagulation and more recently the use of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)antagonists.The index review discusses aflibercept(EYLEA-Regeneron Pharmaceuticals,Inc.,Tarrytown,New York,NY,and Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals,Berlin,Germany)in the context of other VEGF antagonists currently available for the treatment of DME.A systematic search of literature was conducted on PubMed,Scopus,and Google Scholar with no limitation on language or year of publication.Pre-clinical studies of aflibercept have shown a higher affinity of this molecule for vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A)along with a longer duration of action as compared to other VEGF antagonists.Recent clinical trials have shown visual outcome results for aflibercept to be similarly favorable as compared to other available agents with the added benefit of fewer required injections and less frequent monitoring.Aflibercept presents a potential exciting new addition to the armamentarium of current VEGF antagonists available for the treatment of DME and other retinal vascular diseases.However,further studies are indicated to confirm the role,safety,and efficacy of aflibercept for DME.Ahmadreza Moradi Yasir Jamal Sepah Mohammad Ali Sadiq Humzah Nasir Salima Kherani Raafay Sophie Diana V Do Quan Dong Nguyen 2013World Journal of Diabetes2013,4,6:8

4Comparative transcriptome analysis of different nitrogen responses in low-nitrogen sensitive and tolerant maize genotypes显示文摘Although previous researches have greatly increased our general knowledge on plant responses to nitrogen(N)stress,a comprehensive understanding of the different responses in crop genotypes is still needed.This study evaluated 304 maize accessions for low-N tolerance under field conditions,and selected the low-N sensitive Ye478 and low-N tolerant Qi319 for further investigations.After a 5-day low-N treatment,the typical N-deficient phenotype with yellowing older leaves was observed in Ye478 but not in Qi319.After the 5-day low-N stress,16 RNA libraries from leaf and root of Ye478 and Qi319 were generated.The differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in the root of Qi319 up-regulated by special N deficiency were mainly enriched in energy-related metabolic pathways,including tricarboxylic acid metabolic process and nicotinamide metabolic process.Consistent with yellowing older leaves only observed in Ye478,the special N deficiency-responsive DEGs related to thylakoid,chloroplast,photosynthetic membrane,and chloroplast stroma pathways were repressed by low-N stress in Ye478.A total of 216 transcription factors(TFs),including ZmNLP5,were identified as special N deficiencyresponsive TFs between Qi319 and Ye478,indicating the importance of transcriptional regulation of N stress-responsive pathway in different tolerance to low-N stress between crop genotypes.In addition,15 miRNAs were identified as DEGs between Qi319 and Ye478.Taken together,this study contributes to the understanding of the genetic variations and molecular basis of low-N tolerance in maize.DU Qing-guo YANG Juan Shah Syed Muhammad Sadiq YANG Rong-xin YU Jing-juan LI Wen-xue 2021Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021,20,8:5
5Low-velocity simultaneous bilateral femoral neck fracture following long-term antiepileptic therapy:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Simultaneous bilateral femoral neck fractures are relatively rare injuries.They are usually associated with underlying metabolic bone disorders or systemic diseases.Long-term use of narcotics and bisphosphonates can also result in similar fracture patterns;however,association of this fracture type with longterm use of antiepileptic drugs is not very common.Only one such case has been reported in the literature.This article describes the second.CASE REPORT We report a case of simultaneous displaced bilateral femoral neck fractures in a 50-year-old epileptic patient,who had taken phenytoin for the past 3 years.The fractures were a result of low-velocity injury following a fall from the bed.The fractures were managed with a bilateral hemi-replacement arthroplasty.Oral bisphosphonates were given to improve the bone quality in the post-operative period.The patient had a good post-operative outcome,that was sustained throughout the entire follow-up period of 1 year.CONCLUSION Antiepileptic drugs should be supplemented with bisphosphonates and vitamin D to improve bone quality and prevent fractures in epileptic patients.Mohammed Sadiq Vikrant Kulkarni Syed Azher Hussain Mohammed Ismail Mayur Nayak 2019World Journal of Orthopedics2019,10,10:5

7Macrophages are the primary effector cells in IL-7-induced arthritis显示文摘Synovial macrophages are crucial in the development of joint inflammation and bone damage;however, the pathways that controlmacrophage remodeling in inflammatory M1 cells or bone-eroding osteoclasts are not fully understood. We determined thatelevated IL-7R/CD127 expression is the hallmark of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) M1 macrophages and that these cells are highlyresponsive to interleukin-7 (IL-7)-driven osteoclastogenesis. We established that lipopolysaccharide (LPS), interferon-γ (IFNγ), andtumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα), the classic M1 macrophage mediators, enhance IL-7R expression in RA and murine macrophages.The local expression of IL-7 provokes arthritis, predominantly through escalating the number of F480^(+)iNOS^(+) cells rather than CD3^(+)T cells. Ectopic LPS injection stabilizes IL-7-induced arthritis by increasing myeloid IL-7R expression, in part via IFNγ induction.Hence, in RAG−/− mice, IL-7-mediated arthritis is suppressed because of the reduction in myeloid IL-7R expression due to the lackof IFNγ. Moreover, the amelioration of IL-7-induced arthritis by anti-TNF therapy is due to a decrease in the number of cells in theunique F480^(+)iNOS^(+)IL-7R^(+)CCL5^(+) subset, with no impact on the F480^(+)Arginase^(+) cell or CD3^(+) T cell frequency. Consistent with thepreclinical findings, the findings of a phase 4 study performed with RA patients following 6 months of anti-TNF therapy revealedthat IL-7R expression was reduced without affecting the levels of IL-7. 9Congenital diarrhea in a newborn infant: A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Microvillus inclusion disease(MVID)is a rare autosomal recessive cause of severe congenital diarrhea with significant morbidity and mortality.Definitive treatment involves bowel transplant.The diagnosis of this condition can be challenging and a few genetic panels are available for the identification of the most common mutations.We present the case of an infant with MVID due to a mutation not reported in the literature before.CASE SUMMARY We report the case of an infant transferred to our institution with severe diarrhea of unknown etiology,failure to thrive,and significant metabolic derangements.An extensive work-up including stool studies for common gastrointestinal pathogens,abdominal ultrasound,esophagogastroduodenoscopy with duodenal biopsy and flexible sigmoidoscopy failed to reveal a diagnosis.Multiple dietary and formula regimens were introduced but all resulted in voluminous diarrhea.She remained on total parenteral nutrition(TPN)for the duration of her hospital stay.Genetic testing was done and she was subsequently found to have a novel mutation in the MYO5B gene[homozygous mutation for MYO5B c.1462del,p.(Ile488Leufs*93)]giving us the diagnosis of MVID.She remains on TPN while awaiting bowel transplant at the time of the compilation of this case report.CONCLUSION We report a novel mutation involved in MVID and highlight the importance of considering this disease when faced with a newborn presenting with life threatening diarrhea.At the time of this publication,232 allelic variations of this gene(MIM#606540)exist in National Center for Biotechnology Information’s database.Our patient’s mutation has not been reported in literature as a cause of MVID.Mehrin Sadiq Omer Choudry Arun K Kashyap Danitza M Velazquez 2019World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics2019,8,3:3

17Optimization study of a PEM fuel cell performance using 3D multi-phase computational fluid dynamics model显示文摘An optimization study using a comprehensive 3D, multi-phase, non-isothermal model of a PEM (proton exchange membrane) fuel cell that incorporates significant physical processes and key parameters affecting fuel cell performance is pre-sented and discussed in detail. The model accounts for both gas and liquid phase in the same computational domain, and thus allows for the implementation of phase change inside the gas diffusion layers. The model includes the transport of gaseous species, liquid water, protons, energy, and water dissolved in the ion-conducting polymer. Water is assumed to be exchanged among three phases: liquid, vapour, and dissolved, with equilibrium among these phases being assumed. This model also takes into account convection and diffusion of different species in the channels as well as in the porous gas diffusion layer, heat transfer in the solids as well as in the gases, and electrochemical reactions. The results showed that the present multi-phase model is capable of iden-tifying important parameters for the wetting behaviour of the gas diffusion layers and can be used to identify conditions that might lead to the onset of pore plugging, which has a detrimental effect on the fuel cell performance. This model is used to study the effects of several operating, design, and material parameters on fuel cell performance.
