1Spatiotemporal variation in alpine grassland phenology in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau from 1999 to 2009显示文摘Plant phenology is the most salient and sensitive indicator of terrestrial ecosystem response to climate change.Studying its change is significantly important in understanding and predicting impressively changes in terrestrial ecosystem.Based on NDVI from SPOT VGT,this paper analyzed the spatiotemporal changes in alpine grassland phenology in Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau from 1999 to 2009.The results are enumerated as follows:(1) The spatial distribution of the average alpine grassland phenology from 1999 to 2009 is closely related to water and heat conditions.Accompanying the deterioration in heat and water conditions from southeast to northwest,the start of growth season(SOG) was delayed gradually,the end of growth season(EOG) advanced slowly,and the length of growth season(LOG) shortened gradually.Elevation played an important role in the regional differentiation of phenology,but a dividing line of approximately 3500 m existed.Below this line,the phenology fluctuated irregularly with altitude change,whereas above the line,the phenology is closely related to altitude change.(2) From 1999 to 2009,SOG of the alpine grassland came earlier by six days per decade(R2=0.281,P=0.093),EOG was late by two days per decade(R2=0.031,P=0.605),and LOG lengthened by eight days per decade(R2=0.479,P=0.018).The early SOG,the late EOG,and the extended LOG mainly occurred at the center and east of the Plateau.SOG in most of the Plateau advanced significantly,especially in the eastern Plateau.(3) The inter-annual phenology changes of the alpine grassland in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau exhibited significant differentiation at different elevation and natural zones.The inter-annual changes at high altitude were more complicated than that at low altitude.The most significant phenology changes were found in the eastern Qinghai-Qilian montane steppe zone,and non-significant changes occurred in the Southern Tibet montane shrub-steppe zone.DING MingJun ZHANG YiLi SUN XiaoMin LIU LinShan WANG ZhaoFeng BAI WanQi 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,3:44

3Changes in temperature extremes in the Yangtze River Basin, 1962-2011显示文摘Based on daily maximum and minimum temperature observed by the China Meteorological Administration at 115 meteorological stations in the Yangtze River Basin from 1962 to 2011,the methods of linear regression,principal component analysis and correlation analysis are employed to investigate the temporal variability and spatial distribution of temperature extremes.Sixteen indices of extreme temperature are selected.The results are as follows:(1) The occurrence of cold days,cold nights,ice days,frost days and cold spell duration indicator has significantly decreased by –0.84,–2.78,–0.48,–3.29 and –0.67 days per decade,respectively.While the occurrence of warm days,warm nights,summer days,tropical nights,warm spell duration indicator and growing season length shows statistically significant increasing trends at rates of 2.24,2.86,2.93,1.80,0.83 and 2.30 days per decade,respectively.The tendency rate of the coldest day,coldest night,warmest day,warmest night and diurnal temperature range is 0.33,0.47,0.16,0.19 and –0.07℃ per decade,respectively.(2) The magnitudes of changes in cold indices(cold nights,coldest day and coldest night) are obviously greater than those of warm indices(warm nights,warmest day and warmest night).The change ranges of night indices(warm nights and cold nights) are larger than those of day indices(warm days and cold days),which indicates that the change of day and night temperature is asymmetrical.(3) Spatially,the regionally averaged values of cold indices in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Basin are larger than those in the middle and lower reaches.However,the regionally averaged values of most warm indices(except warm spell duration indicator) and growing season length in the middle and lower reaches are larger than those in the upper reaches.(4) The extreme temperature indices are well correlated with each other except diurnal temperature range.WANG Qiong ZHANG Mingjun WANG Shengjie MA Qian SUN Meiping 2014Journal of Geographical Sciences2014,24,1:14
4Potassium Uptake and Transport in Apple Roots Under Drought Stress显示文摘As one of the most important mineral nutrient elements, potassium(K^+) plays an important role in many plant physiological processes and determines both the yield and quality of crops. There are two typical gene families that regulate K^+transport in higher plants, including K^+channels and K^+transporters. However, little is known about how these channels and transporters divide their work in response to drought stress. In this study, the hydroponic experiment was conducted on Malus hupehensis. The K^+content was found to decrease in response to drought stress in M. hupehensis, the aboveground decreased by 34.15% and the underground decreased by 3.97%. Meanwhile, the root morphology change was detected by scanning the root system. Under conditions of drought, the genes encoding K^+transporters were upregulated including MdCHX1.3, MdCHX4.11, MdCHX4.8, MdCHX4.9, Md HKT1, and MdHAK3.2. The net influx of K^+was inhibited by 19.47% with the action of K^+channel inhibitors(CsCl), however a significant decrease(80.99%; P < 0.05) was found in roots exposed to a PM H+-ATPase(orthovanadate) inhibitor by utilizing a non-invasive micro-test technique. The trend of H+efflux was similar to that of K^+. The data suggested that the positive influx of K^+through the transporter accounted for the main K^+uptake under drought stress. These results suggest that we can improve the uptake of K^+by purposely up-regulating specific K^+transporters under drought stress. 5Tribological Characteristics of Graphene as Lithium Grease Additive显示文摘The tribological properties of graphene(GN) and graphite(G) as lubricant additives in lithium greases were investigated with a four-ball tribotester. The micro-morphology as well as the content and chemical state of elements on the worn surfaces was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results showed that the tribological performance of lithium grease could be significantly improved by the addition of graphene. 7Antibacterial behavior and related mechanisms of martensitic Cu-bearing stainless steel evaluated by a mixed infection model of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus in vitro显示文摘Escherichia coli(E.coli)and Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)are the most typical pathogenic bacteria with a significantly high risk of bio-contamination,widely existing in hospital and public places.Recent studies on antibacterial materials and the related mechanisms have attracted more interests of researchers.However,the antibacterial behavior of materials is usually evaluated separately on the single bacterial strain,which is far from the practical condition.Actually,the interaction between the polymicrobial communities can promote the growing profile of bacteria,which may weaken the antibacterial effect of materials.In this work,a 420 copper-bearing martensitic stainless steel(420 CuSS)was studied with respect to its antibacterial activity and the underlying mechanism in a co-culturing infection model using both E.coli and S.au reus.Observed via plating and counting colony forming units(CFU),Cu releasing,and material characterization,420 CuSS was proved to present excellent antibacterial performance against the mixed bacteria with an approximately 99.4%of antibacterial rate.In addition,420 CuSS could effectively inhibit the biofilm formation on its surfaces,resulting from a synergistic antibacterial effect of Cu ions,Fe ions,reactive oxygen species(ROS),and proton consumption of bacteria.Mingjun Li Li Nan Chunyong Liang Ziqing Sun Lei Yang Ke Yang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3:3

10Industry experiment & effect of oxidation resistance coating for steel slab显示文摘Spraying test were conducted twice before steel slabs were put into the furnace and the effects of the oxidation resistance coating were investigated and verified.By comparing the change of slab weight,rolling force of the roughing mill & finishing mill,thickness of oxide film on the surface slabs by an XL-30 SEM and acid pickling speed of slabs with and without coating,it was found that the oxidization waste in the furnace decreased by 40 percent with the use of the coating and the corresponding yield capacity could increase by 0.2 percent at least.Besides,the thickness of oxide scale film on hot rolled products was reduced by 1.44 micrometers and the acid pickling time was shortened by 6s with the coating technology,while the total rolling force of RM & FM did not changed.Furthermore,the application prospect of this technology was also discussed in this paper.XIA Xiaoming SUN Mingjun WANG Wei ZHAO Nan WEI Lianqi 2012Baosteel Technical Research2012,6,4:2
11Construction of WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)bi-layer nanopore arrays with superior electrochromic and capacitive performances显示文摘Crystalline WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)bi-layer nanopore arrays were constructed by the template synthesis of a WO_(3)nanopore layer modified by a magnetron sputtering of an amorphous Ti-doped/WO_(3)layer.The obtained bi-layer nanopore array shows a remarkable electrochromic performance with large dual-band optical modulation in both visible(VIS)and near infrared(NIR)regions(optical modulation of over 70%in the wavelength range from 600 to 1600 nm)and the fast response speed(coloring for 3.4 s and bleaching for 6.6 s).In addition,the bi-layer WO_(3)/Ti-doped WO_(3)nanopore array also present superior energy-storage properties(areal capacitance of 44.0 mF cm−2 and good rate capability),better than that of titanium-free thin films.The special bifunctional characteristics of electrochromism and pseudocapacitance can be ascribed to the large specific surface area provided by the architectural design,rich ion channels in the amorphous layer as well as proper titanium doping,which bestows the bi-layer nanopore array a great potential in clean energy applications.Yingdi Shi Shujing Liu Yong Zhang Mingjun Sun Kai Tang Jiewu Cui Xia Shu Yan Wang Jiaqin Liu Yucheng Wu 2019Tungsten2019,1,3:2
12Increasing free-air 0℃ isotherm height in Southwest China from 1960 to 2010显示文摘Based on the radiosonde data observed at 14 stations in Southwest China from 1960 to 2010, as well as the corresponding surface air temperature, the long-term change of free-air 0 ℃isotherm height in Southwest China and the relationships between surface air temperature and 0 ℃isotherm height are discussed. The results indicated that the spatial distribution of 0 isotherm height is generally related with latitude, but the ℃ huge massif or plateau may complicate the latitude pattern. The two main regimes influencing the spatial patterns of 0 isotherm height℃ in Southwest China are latitude and huge massif. The annual 0 isotherm height has increased by 35 m per decade in the recent decades, which is st℃ atistically significant at the 0.001 level. Generally, the increasing trend can be examined for each seasonal series, especially in winter(53 m per decade). 16Aldosterone may induce visfatin expression via the GR-ERK1/2 signal pathway in 3T3-L1 adipocytes显示文摘The main function of aldosterone is to regulate blood pressure and electrolytic balance;however,recent studies have also focused on the effect of aldosterone on glucose metabolism especially in adipose tissue.Aldosterone was found to inhibit insulin-induced glucose uptake in 3T3-L1 adipocytes [1] and aldosterone deficiency was found to prevent high-fat-feeding-induced hyperglycemia and adipocyte dysfunction in mice [2].Visfatin,an adipokine discovered by the team of Fukuhara,is mainly released by adipose tissue [3].Treatment of 3T3-L1 adipocytes and L6 myocytes with visfatin increased basal glucose uptake,and glucose release was suppressed in H4IIEC3 hepatocytes after visfatin treatment [3].It has also been suggested that visfatin may act as a proinflammatory cytokine [4] and produce chronic inflammation in adipocytes [5].Eyileten et al.[6] reported that treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor,which can reduce plasma aldosterone concentration,decreased circulating visfatin level in diabetic nephropathy patients.These findings suggest a possible interaction between the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system(RAAS)and visfatin.Considering the important roles of aldosterone and visfatin and the association between RAAS and visfatin,we hypothesize that there may be a direct regulatory interaction between aldosterone and visfatin.To test this hypothesis,3T3-L1 adipocytes were used as the cell model and the expression of visfatin was measured by qRT-PCR and western blot analysis.Junhua Ma Xuemei Zhao Jichen Zhang Fei Sun Jiancan Lu Hongling Zhu Mingjun Gu Jingnan Wang Xiangqi Li 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,3:1

18Numerical study on hydrodynamic characteristics of spherical bubble contaminated by surfactants under higher Reynolds numbers显示文摘It is of significance to investigate deeply the hydrodynamic featu res of the bubble co ntaminated by impurities in view of the fact that the industrial liquid is difficult to keep absolutely pure.On the basis of the finite volume method,the bubble interface contaminated by the surfactant(1-pentanol)is achieved through solving the concentration transport equations in liquid and along the bubble interface,and solving the absorption and desorption equation at the bubble interface.And the three-dimensional momentum equation is solved at the same time.It is investigated in detail on the influence of interfacial contamination degrees(described with the cap angleθ)on hydrodynamic characteristics of the spherical bubble when the bubble Reynolds number(Re)is larger than 200.Theθis realized by changing the surfactant concentration(C_(0)) in liquid.The present results show that the hydrodynamic characteristics,such as interfacial concentration,interfacial shear stress,interfacial velocity and wake flow,are related to both Re and C_(0) for the contaminated bubble.When C_(0) is relatively low in liquid(i.e.,the contamination degree of the bubble interface is relatively slight),the hydrodynamic characteristics of the bubble can still keep the 2 D features even if Re>200.The decrease ofθor the increase of Re can promote the appearance of the unsteady wake flow.For the present investigation,when Re>200 andθ≤60°,the hydrodynamic characteristics of the bubble show the 3D phenomena,which indicates that axisymmetric model is no longer valid.Tao Sun Mingjun Pang Yang Fei 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,5:1
