1Plant Small RNAs: Biogenesis, Mode of Action and Their Roles in Abiotic Stresses显示文摘Small RNAs (sRNAs) are 18-30 nt non-coding regulatory elements found in diverse organisms, which were initially identified as small double-stranded RNAs in Caenorhabditis elegans. With the development of new and improved technologies, sRNAs have also been identified and characterized in plant systems. Among them, micro RNAs (miRNAs) and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) are found to be very important riboregulators in plants. Various types of sRNAs differ in their mode of biogenesis and in their function of gene regulation. sRNAs are involved in gene regulation at both transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels. They are known to regulate growth and development of plants. Furthermore, sRNAs especially plant miRNAs have been found to be involved in various stress responses, such as oxidative, mineral nutrient deficiency, dehydration, and even mechanical stimulus. 2临床表现罕见的流行性角结膜炎1例:腺病毒角结膜上皮炎(英文)显示文摘腺病毒角结膜炎,由腺病毒血清型8,19,37引起。腺病毒结膜炎典型的体征包括耳前淋巴结病变,结膜充血水肿,结膜下出血,结膜滤泡。腺病毒角结膜炎角膜受累情况各不相同,多数患者有弥散的轻微的浅层角膜炎,局部隆起的点状上皮损害,随后形成上皮下混浊。我们报道一例罕见的腺病毒角结膜上皮炎,为临床表现特殊的流行性角结膜炎(EKC),并回顾相关特殊病例文献。患者,男,35岁,患腺病毒结膜炎,临床表现罕见,表现为角结膜上皮炎形式,这种病例文献未见报道。经过保守治疗患者痊愈。角结膜上皮炎可以是临床表现特殊的腺病毒角结膜炎。Sudesh Kumar Arya Badri Prasad Badhu Ritu Amatya V G Ramachandran Poonam Lavaju 2009国际眼科杂志2009,9,8:4
3Identification of miR414 and Expression Analysis of Conserved miRNAs from Stevia rebaudiana显示文摘MicroRNAs (miRNAs) usually contain 19-24 nucleotides and have been identified as important eukaryotic gene regulators. Applications of various computational approaches have simplified the task by predicting miRNAs from available sequence data sources. In this study, we identified a conserved miR414 from a computational analysis of EST sequence data available from Stevia rebaudiana. In addition, we also identified six conserved miRNAs namely miR169, miR319, miR414, miR164, miR167 and miR398 using stem-loop RT-PCR analysis. Hence, miR414 was commonly identified using both methods. The expression analysis of these miRNAs documented their roles in growth and development of Stevia. Furthermore, the detected miRNAs were found to target genes involved in plant growth, development, metabolism and signal transduction. 4Role of angiogenesis and angiogenic factors in acute and chronic wound healing显示文摘Angiogenesis plays a crucial role in wound healing by forming new blood vessels from preexisting vessels by invading the wound clot and organizing into a microvascular network throughout the granulation tissue.This dynamic process is highly regulated by signals from both serum and the surrounding extracellular matrix environment.Vascular endothelial growth factor,angiopoietin,fibroblast growth factor and transforming growth factor-beta are among the potent angiogenic cytokines in wound angiogenesis.Specific endothelial cell ECM receptors are critical for morphogenetic changes in blood vessels during wound repair.In particular integrin(αvβ3)receptors for fibrin and fibronectin,appear to be required for wound angiogenesis:αvβ3 is focally expressed at the tips of angiogenic capillary sprouts invading the wound clot,and any functional inhibitors ofαvβ3 such as monoclonal antibodies,cyclic RGD peptide antagonists,and peptidomimetics rapidly inhibit granulation tissue formation.In spite of clear knowledge about influence of many angiogenic factors on wound healing,little progress has been made in defining the source of these factors,the regulatory events involved in wound angiogenesis and in the clinical use of angiogenic stimulants to promote repair.Thittamaranahalli Muguregowda Honnegowda Pramod Kumar Echalasara Govindarama Padmanabha Udupa Sudesh Kumar Udaya Kumar Pragna Rao 2015Plastic and Aesthetic Research2015,2,1:3

17Histopathological study of chronic wounds modulated by intermittent negative pressure therapy under limited access dressing显示文摘Aim:Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT)has achieved widespread success in the treatment of chronic wounds.However,its effects have been only partially explored,and investigations have generally concentrated on the wound-dressing interface;a detailed histopathological description of the evolution of wounds under NPWT is still lacking.The present study was performed to investigate the effect of a limited access dressing(LAD)which exerts intermittent NPWT in a moist environment on chronic wounds.Methods:A total of 140 patients were randomized into 2 groups:LAD group(n=64)and conventional dressing group(n=76).By histopathological analysis of the granulation tissue,the amount of inflammatory infiltrate,necrotic tissue,angiogenesis,and extracellular matrix(ECM)deposition was studied and compared to determine healing between the 2 groups.Results:After 10 days of treatment,histopathological analysis showed a significant decrease in necrotic tissue with LAD compared to the conventional dressing group(mean±standard error,11.5±0.48 vs.10.1±0.30,P=0.007),the number of inflammatory cells(12.6±0.60 vs.8.63±0.35,P=0.018),a significant increase in new blood vessels(12.8±0.58 vs.9.3±0.29,P=0.005)and ECM deposit(13.3±0.50 vs.9.6±0.24,P=0.001).Conclusion:LAD exerts its beneficial effects on chronic wound healing by decreasing the amount of necrotic tissue and inflammatory cells while increasing the amount of ECM deposition and angiogenesis.Thittamaranahalli Muguregowda Honnegowda Pramod Kumar Rekha Singh Swarna Shivakumar Pragna Rao Hemanth K.Prasad Sudesh Kumar Udaya Kumar Echalasara Govindarama Padmanabha Udupa 2015Plastic and Aesthetic Research2015,2,1:0
18Genome recoding strategies to improve cellular properties: mechanisms and advances显示文摘The genetic code,once believed to be universal and immutable,is now known to contain many variations and is not quite universal.The basis for genome recoding strategy is genetic code variation that can be harnessed to improve cellular properties.Thus,genome recoding is a promising strategy for the enhancement of genome flexibility,allowing for novel functions that are not commonly documented in the organism in its natural environment.Here,the basic concept of genetic code and associated mechanisms for the generation of genetic codon variants,including biased codon usage,codon reassignment,and ambiguous decoding,are extensively discussed.Knowledge of the concept of natural genetic code expansion is also detailed.The generation of recoded organisms and associated mechanisms with basic targeting components,including aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase–tRNA pairs,elongation factor EF-Tu and ribosomes,are highlighted for a comprehensive understanding of this concept.The research associated with the generation of diverse recoded organisms is also discussed.The success of genome recoding in diverse multicellular organisms offers a platform for expanding protein chemistry at the biochemical level with non-canonical amino acids,genetically isolating the synthetic organisms from the natural ones,and fighting viruses,including SARS-CoV2,through the creation of attenuated viruses.In conclusion,genome recoding can offer diverse applications for improving cellular properties in the genome-recoded organisms.Tanya Singh Sudesh Kumar Yadav Alexander Vainstein Vinay Kumar 2021aBIOTECH2021,2,1:0

20自由取向炭/炭复合材料的新型制备及工艺优化(英文)显示文摘采用在炭纤维束的内部浸润熔融沥青的传统方法制备得到的炭/炭(C/C)复合材料难以实现细旦化水平,这是因为单束丝中含有数千根丝,经浸渍后沥青附着,从而引起沥青局部渗出,以及因不均匀沥青稳定性而导致微观结构不均匀。本文通过稳定的中间相沥青和分散的短切炭纤维混合、热压和炭化过程制备出细旦化水平的C/C复合材料。探讨了工艺参数对中间相沥青残炭率的影响。通过残炭率/工艺时间、残炭率!(表观密度/实密度)来优化工艺参数。结果表明,通过此法得到了细旦化水平的中间相沥青与炭纤维复合材料。中间相沥青的残炭率随加热升温速率、沥青/炭纤维质量比的增加而降低;随热压压力而增加。在高压力和高质量比下,发生沥青局部渗出。通过调控得到最佳的C/C复合材料制备工艺参数为:热压压力15 MPa,升温速率0. 2℃/min及沥青/炭纤维质量比1∶1。Thakur Sudesh Kumar Raunija Rajeev K.Gautam Sharad Chandra Sharma Anil Verma 2018新型炭材料2018,33,5:0
