Dynamic performance of a C/C composite finger seal in a tilting mode显示文摘The complex operating state of aeroengines has an impact on the performance of finger seals. However, little work has been focused on the issue and the dynamic performance of finger seals is also rarely studied. Therefore, a distributed mass equivalent model considering working conditions is proposed in this paper for solving the existing problems. The effects of the fiber bundle density and the preparation direction of the fiber bundle of a C/C composite on the dynamic performance of a finger seal are investigated in rotor tilt based on the proposed model. The difference between the C/C composite finger seal performances under the rotor precession and nutation tilt cases is also investigated. The results show that the fiber bundle density and the preparation direction of the fiber bundle have an influence on the dynamic performance of the finger seal as rotor tilt is considered, and the dynamic performance of the finger seal is different in the two kinds of tilting modes. In addition, a novel method for design of finger seals is presented based on the contact pressure between finger boots and the rotor. Finger seals with good leakage rates and low wear can be acquired in this method. | Hailin ZHAO Guoding CHEN Li'na WANG Hua SU Fei LU | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,4: | 6

Identification of recombination hotspots and quantitative trait loci for recombination rate in layer chickens显示文摘Background: The frequency of recombination events varies across the genome and between individuals, which may be related to some genomic features. The objective of this study was to assess the frequency of recombination events and to identify QTL(quantitative trait loci) for recombination rate in two purebred layer chicken lines. Methods: A total of 1200 white-egg layers(WL) were genotyped with 580 K SNPs and 5108 brown-egg layers(BL)were genotyped with 42 K SNPs(single nucleotide polymorphisms). Recombination events were identified within half-sib families and both the number of recombination events and the recombination rate was calculated within each0.5 Mb window of the genome. The 10% of windows with the highest recombination rate on each chromosome were considered to be recombination hotspots. A BayesB model was used separately for each line to identify genomic regions associated with the genome-wide number of recombination event per meiosis. Regions that explained more than 0.8% of genetic variance of recombination rate were considered to harbor QTL.Results: Heritability of recombination rate was estimated at 0.17 in WL and 0.16 in BL. On average, 11.3 and 23.2 recombination events were detected per individual across the genome in 1301 and 9292 meioses in the WL and BL,respectively. The estimated recombination rates differed significantly between the lines, which could be due to differences in inbreeding levels, and haplotype structures. Dams had about 5% to 20% higher recombination rates per meiosis than sires in both lines. Recombination rate per 0.5 Mb window had a strong negative correlation with chromosome size and a strong positive correlation with GC content and with CpG island density across the genome in both lines. Different QTL for recombination rate were identified in the two lines. There were 190 and 199 non-overlapping recombination hotspots detected in WL and BL respectively, 28 of which were common to both lines. Conclusions: Differences in the recombination rates, hotspot locations, and QTL regions associated with genomewide recombination were observed between lines, indicating the breed-specific feature of detected recombination events and the control of recombination events is a complex polygenic trait. | Ziqing Weng Anna Wolc Hailin Su Rohan L.FernANDo Jack C.M.Dekkers Jesus Arango Petek Settar Janet E.Fulton Neil P.O’Sullivan Dorian J.Garrick | 2019 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2019,10,2: | 0

Performance Comparison of Two Efficient Genomic Selection Methods(gsbay & MixP ) Applied in Aquacultural Organisms显示文摘Genomic selection is more and more popular in animal and plant breeding industries all around the world, as it can be applied early in life without impacting selection candidates. The objective of this study was to bring the advantages of genomic selection to scallop breeding. Two different genomic selection tools Mix P and gsbay were applied on genomic evaluation of simulated data and Zhikong scallop(Chlamys farreri) field data. The data were compared with genomic best linear unbiased prediction(GBLUP) method which has been applied widely. Our results showed that both Mix P and gsbay could accurately estimate single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) marker effects, and thereby could be applied for the analysis of genomic estimated breeding values(GEBV). In simulated data from different scenarios, the accuracy of GEBV acquired was ranged from 0.20 to 0.78 by Mix P; it was ranged from 0.21 to 0.67 by gsbay; and it was ranged from 0.21 to 0.61 by GBLUP. Estimations made by Mix P and gsbay were expected to be more reliable than those estimated by GBLUP. Predictions made by gsbay were more robust, while with Mix P the computation is much faster, especially in dealing with large-scale data. These results suggested that both algorithms implemented by Mix P and gsbay are feasible to carry out genomic selection in scallop breeding, and more genotype data will be necessary to produce genomic estimated breeding values with a higher accuracy for the industry. | SU Hailin LI Hengde WANG Shi WANG Yangfan BAO Zhenmin | 2017 | Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,1: | 0

6-32 Design and Operation of Cryogenic Vertical Testing System for Superconducting Cavity显示文摘The superconducting accelerating segment in injectorⅡof Accelerator Driven Sub-critical System(ADS) uses superconductingcavities whose frequency are 162.5 MHz. The vertical performance of superconducting cavity devicesmust be tested at liquid helium temperature(2, 4.2 K) before being assembled in cryostat. To meet the runninggoal of the 0 25 MeV linac system, it is necessary to build a set of cryogenic testing system for superconductingcavity, which is used to test the performance of the superconducting cavity and whether cavity meet the designgoal. | Bai Feng Su Hailin Zhang Junhui Guo Xiaohong Hu Chuanfei Niu Xiaofei Zhang Peng Zhao Yugang Yin Yukui Guo Wanhong Liu Zuohui Wang Xianjin Hu Yongping | 2014 | IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2014,,1: | 0
Diagnosis and treatment for advanced hilar cholangiocarcinoma:experience of 24 cases显示文摘The aim of this paper is to evaluate the effi-cacy of the surgical treatment for advanced hilar cholan-giocarcinoma(CCA)in order to improve the resection rate and curative effect.A retrospective analysis was performed on the data of 24 patients who had under-gone surgical treatment for advanced hilar CCA.According to the Bismuth classification, there were four cases of type IIIa,six cases of type IIIb,and 14 cases of type IV.Based on the treatment approaches, these patients were divided into three groups:①Radical resection group:There were five cases(one type IIIa,three type IIIb,and one type IV).The tumor visible to the naked eyes was resected thoroughly and the cut mar-gin was free of tumor by microscopic examination.Then,Roux-en-Y hepatico-jejunal anastomosis was per-formed to restore the bile flow.②Palliative resection group:There were 11 cases. The bile flow was restored by Roux-en-Y hepatico-jejunal anastomosis directly in five cases(two type IIIa,three type IIIb)and by internal drainage through a hepatico-jejunal bridge in the other six cases(one type IIIa,five type IV).③Simple internal biliary drainage group:There were eight cases of type IV,including three cases with the internal drainage through hepatico-jejunal bridge by laparotomy, three cases with endoscopic retrograde biliary drainage(ERBD),two cases with percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD).The rate of radical resection was 20.8%and the overall resection rate was 66.7%.All of the 24 patients were fol-lowed-up.The cumulative surviving rates were significantly different among these three groups(Log-rank x2=17.56,P=0.0002).For advanced hilar CCA,the best choice of treatment is radical resection. If radical resection is impractical, palliative resection combined with partial hepatectomy can significantly prolong the survival time.Internal drainage through a hepatico-jejunal bridge can enhance the surgical resection rate and decrease the occur-rence rate of postoperative biliary leakage. | Zongming ZHANG Hailin XING Haiming YUAN Kai LIU Jianping ZHU Yanming SU Jinxing GUO Nan JIANG Zichao ZHANG | 2008 | Frontiers of Medicine2008,2,2: | 0
